LITTLE JAMIE BABY! And of course, Austin Dillon almost goes over and Casey Mear's front end is destroyed.. yet they should've let them keep racing..

If the accident is behind them, they let the drivers run back to the line. See Kevin Harvick's Daytona 500 win.

Yes, f*** driver safety when Austin Dillon almost flips and Casey Mears has massive front-end damage so maybe Dale Earnhardt Jr can pass the race leader and take the win despite the fact the guy he was going to work with just almost flipped his crap. That is the only reason this is an issue.
EDIT: Anyone remember the wreck between Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano at Auto Club? The caution flag was thrown when they were on the front-straight away despite the fact that Joey nor Denny would have been in the way of anyone finishing the race. Why throw the caution? Get to safety vehicles onto the race track. We have seen multiple drivers injured and people are STILL taking safety for granted.

NASCAR doesn't set things up. No. Never. Bullsh*t. They *NEVER* throw that caution on the last lap if the leaders are clear of the yellow. NEVER!!! But when Jr. is about to cut low and make a move for the win, WHOOPS!!!!!! YELLOW!!!! I am so ing pissed and NASCAR will hear about this. Did you miss the Nationwide Talladega this year? But that didn't involve Junior so let's forget that.

Yeah, because nobody gets hurt in this sport anymore. Denny Hamlin didn't injury his back, Dale Jr didn't miss races last year because of a concussion, Eric McClure didn't miss races this year because of a broken bones, Justin Lofton was not injured YESTERDAY, nope.. never. Again, f*** driver safety because Dale Junior had a small chance of winning.

Oh give me a break, drivers safety? Racing back to the line wouldn't have affected Casey or Austin at all. They were on the complete other side of the track! They weren't in any danger at all. If this happened at Bristol I could understand it. But this is Talladega!! Nascars biggest track. You do realize 90% of the field was behind them right? They were totally safe.

The point still remains that risking driver safety for a green flag finish isn't smart. That's how careers (or worse) end..

So why am I not surprised? Come on, you can do better than that...

You know why they stopped racing back to the line? Because wrecked cars were almost getting run over by guys not slowing down for them.
A wrecked car getting blasted by a car going full speed and probably hurting them and Dale Jr. winning, or everyone being safe and Dale Jr. not winning?
I like Dale Jr, but I'll take the 2nd one.

You're a Ryan Newman fan though.. he's the biggest ogre in the garage. That has nothing to do with this thread but I figured since we are throwing around "your favorite driver is a crybaby" arguments I would go with it.

Come on, you can do better than that... I could, but you're not worth the time. Did you hear Kyle Busch on the radio all day? He whines and complains about everything.. He will never grow up. You're sitting here saying someone "whines and complains about everything" while whining and complaining about them throwing a caution. NASCAR fans really are the best judges of who "whines and complaints about everything". Also, nice way to show how I am not worth your time.. by responding. You sure showed me man.

Like I said, if this had happened at Bristol I would have been okay with it. But this was Talladega. It's a bit different. By the time the field had got back to the backstretch, it would have been all clear. Plus they would have turns 1 & 2 to slow down. Every driver has radio communication, it's not as big of a deal as every is making it. I just want to see the race finished under green. That race was BORING! I wanted an exciting finish at the end. The point isn't solely about getting hit by another car.. it's the impact that both Austin and Casey had. You never know what happens with a driver during those moments that could cause injury. Casey or Austin could have been knocked out. It isn't JUST about getting hit by another car. Anything could have with the ORIGINAL contact to injure either driver and that's why they should throw cautions for accidents like that. Period.

You do realize they were in the FRONT of the pack right? There were still 20 cars flying towards them at full speed. You're talking like Austin and Casey were at the back of the field. They were in the front and had a field of cars heading towards them at 200 miles a hour.

You see a car in the air.. you throw the caution. End of story IMO.

Todd Parrot was released yesterday by RPM after his suspension for substance abuse violations. He has though, submitted his application for the Road To Recovery program.

Kevin Harvick is trying to overtake Tony Stewart as NASCAR's favorite ass hole.
