where do the dull old school IC title plates come from?
i dont remember mattel ever releasing an old school IC belt that wasnt VUM vac metal

...... The one that comes w/ Christian in the BAF set is Shiny. The one that comes w/ Big Show in the new Champions series is Dull. Does everyone understand now?  ? Any answer on whether you found the Show at Retail or not?? I'm looking for this one myself but haven't seen the series at all. |

Where did you find the big Show w/belt or was it online? A friend of mine receives royalties/advance figs for all Mattels released with old-school belts, as he was part of the company that designed all the straps in the '80s. Knowing I'm a belt mark, he sent me the Big Show fig back w/white-strapped old-school IC belt and some extra old-school tag belts in December. I assumed that the Show fig was out in stores by now, but I rarely go figure hunting. Funny...when WWE reintroduced the classic IC belt on TV last year, they were shocked to get a call from my buddy, as they assumed they owned the design. They do not. WWE had to trash the new one they had made so my friend could make another one based on the classic IC design...for a fee, of course. ;D |

the BAF christian and Basic big show made appearances on ebay briefly around xmas time.
i am not proud to admit it, but i ended up having to pay a LOT of $$ for my white strap IC. i did have a feeling though that they wouldnt be around for very long.
