Just excited that Butch Walker produced the new album. Everything he touches is amazing.

I'll probably make my way to the Electric Factory show.

Just excited that Butch Walker produced the new album. Everything he touches is amazing. Seriously? I think he's produced a ton of crap. Weezer's "Raditude" is a great example. I would be happier if FOB got back together if it didn't mean an awful new song(when Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley were working on great music with side projects) and it was done because two of them had really awful "solo" careers. I hope the rest of the new album isn't as bad as the single.

When I heard the song at first, it kinda reminded me of one of the Alvin and the Chipmunk's songs. But it was still awesome.

I love the new song, very edgey.
Anyone have news on the album?
Surprised they came back right away with a single, which means they were working on the album for a bit no

Surprised they came back right away with a single, which means they were working on the album for a bit no The record, to my knowledge, is nearing completion. They've been in the studio since October/November, probably recording under a fake name or just keeping everything a strict "need to know" basis. It's been said that Patrick and Pete got together to write music as early as ten months ago, but felt that they weren't producing anything of value and so they shelved it for later.

$80 tickets? Ha! Maybe I'll see them on the album tour. Which show were you looking at? Face value was $35 pretty much across the board, making them somewhere between $42-$50 after service fees. Got my tickets for Boston this morning without much issue, but all dates that went on sale this morning sold out pretty much immediately, with the exception, I believe, of Miami. Will call only in Boston, though, which totally sucks.

Got my ticket for the Boston HOB show this morning, it was tough as hell for me. Kept getting error pages over and over, took me almost 25 minutes to finally get the ticket to go through. Same thing happened with a friend of mine, she was suppose to get 3 floor tickets and could only get 1 ticket up in the balcony.
Fall Out Boy got me through some really hard times in high school, and it's a dream come true to actually have the chance to see them in a small-ish venue. So pumped!

Two new songs off their new album. I keep playing them on repeat. Loved My Songs Know from the first time I heard it, The Phoenix took a few listens but I'm loving it now.

'The Phoenix" is going to make one hell of a show opener. Can't wait for May.

HOB Boston is too big to be smallish. Didn't they play Harper's Ferry/Brighton Music Hall a few years back? That would have been awesome.

HOB Boston is too big to be smallish. Didn't they play Harper's Ferry/Brighton Music Hall a few years back? That would have been awesome. They played a surprise show at Paradise right around the release of Folie A Deux I believe. My friend was living down a couple blocks away at the time and said people were lined up near his house. It was, to my knowledge, free, and first come first serve. I can't imagine how crazy that was. And while HOB Boston is one of the larger venues on the tour, putting them somewhere else, to me, wouldn't have been feasible. The tour sold out nationwide in five minutes as it is, Boston being one of the quickest to go. Plus, in comparison to the fall tour (arenas), I'd consider the HOB small-ish, at least for a band that size.
