Except the two he killed that started this whole thing. So I guess you are right. He didn't hurt ONE civilian. He hurt (murdered) TWO. And even if he didn't hurt one civilian, it's ok that he killed cops? Civilians not attached to the LAPD.. It's not Monica Quan's fault for being the daughter of Capt. Randal Quan.. Not her fiance's fault for being married to her. Sometimes you just know the wrong person, at the wrong time. (that's life) And the only reason I say something so harsh is because he took responsibility for every death but those two. He owned the other murders.. But not those two? They found their bodies on Feb. 3rd and didn't launch a manhunt for this guy till the following Thursday?.. Weird. Are you justifying his murdering them?

I think American's are very in touch.. Supporting him, instead of supporting a known to be corrupt police department that made themselves look like amateurs on the first day. I think it would be out of touch to support the LAPD.. tbh. He didn't hurt ONE civilian, he went after cops. He wanted to make the LAPD look bad, and with the way they handled this entire situation, they look bad. After looking at the evidence in this case, with the history of the LAPD.. I supported this guy. If he decided to start killing innocent civilians with no connection to police.. Then I'd change my opinion. But he didn't. I have a clue.. Do you? Nothing. Just damn good television.. One vigilante ex-cop declaring war on the LAPD.. Ending in a fiery blaze.. You couldn't script that. Can't tell if trolling or just insanely ignorant.

The point is that you do not KNOW this guy. You just know what his online rant said. I think the fact that he sat on his hands for almost 5 years just proves before doing anything that he simply just went crazy and in his own mind, he got wronged probably more than he actually did. And killing people RELATED to the case as opposed to those directly involved just proves that. I don't care what they did to him, he handled it the wrong way. It's quite alarming that we live in a world where a big number of people think that this was ok. I read an article interviewing a bunch of people he knew and they were outspoken about him being a nice guy and they wouldn't expect him of that. When he tied the cleaning lady and her daughter up he told them how he didn't want to hurt them. I wont sit here and say it was right or OK for him to do what he did, not whatsoever, at least not knowing the entire story and facts front to back, but there's a part of me that just cant say he's wrong either (what he DID, was wrong though). Most people claim the person behind these things are crazy or mentally ill, but I think he was perfectly conscious and just decided to do what he believed was the only way to handle it. Like you said, there might not have been a "right" way to handle it, because he tried that already and it failed him miserably. So I believe he lost faith in doing things the "right way" since it got him no where and decided to go the "wrong way". people said bundy, dahmer and other serial killers were good people... and look at the things they did...
