I never really had a problem like that. Usually i just join in the conversation or laugh about it. I remember one time i went to a hockey game and everytime this one player came out for his shift the guy yelled YOU whayever his name was. I was laughing the whole night even after some people were getting mad. Its all in the fun that you make it. Even at WM20 i had some mark telling me Macho Man was coming out at the end of the show and doing all this non sense.

Obnoxious smark fans ruin everything.
My favorite people to sit around are the kids. Always fun talking to them and they actually enjoy themselves without being jerks.
Sorry you didn't enjoy yourself.

CHICKEN HAT! Chicken Hat's the man! He's a rad dude. Anywho, my only problem tonight was this dude about 2 or 3 rows infront of me who stood up, raised his arms, and waved them around for the entire duration of Swagger and Rock's entrances, making it impossible to see around him. Standing up and occasion arm raising is fine, but good lord, give the people behind you some seeing ability. Sorry that you had a bad experience but sounds absolutely hilarious. Everytime I think about someone in the crowd who stands up and does some type of wave with their hands and it takes lord know's how long before they sit down, I call them SUPER DRAGON V2 lmao! The only in decent experience I can recall is this one time in 2008 during a RAW taping there was the one teenager who was a row above me who would literally bend forward and scream/chant really loud right in my ear every couple of minutes or so during a match, entrance, segment or whatever was happening at the time. I warned him several times to please refrain from yelling so close to me and when he didn't obey my wishes, it genuinely got on my nerves so I turned around and threw a milkshake at him which then splashed all over his pants and shirt. The teenage yelled "What the f**k man!? and I responded with "I told you to shut the f*ck up. This was going on constantly for an hour into the show so I was already irritable as it was. But I've learned to overcome such petty idiotic things such as that over the years because I did feel like a douche a little while after and I did apologize after the show was over.

big reason why i think signs should be banned... No... as a guy that has paid hard earned money for a ticket only for the two douches in front of me to ruin it, yes.

Again I don't wanna sound like I'm complaining just because the group was yelling, i mean cheering and occasionally yelling something to the performers is all part of the fun of being there live. It was the fact that there wasn't a point where one of them wasn't yelling stupid stuff, and the fact that they were ruining it for those kids that bothered me.
Although it sucks that you guys have had some bad experiences too, but it makes me feel a bit better knowing that some of you know what i'm talking about. Thanks

Ugh I hate annoying fans.
I've had much worse experiences at concerts than I have at wrestling events though.

I've only truly had ONE bad experience. Shawn Michaels was giving his retirement speech, and as we're all listening, this one guy a couple seats down kept chanting "HBK!" over and over again at the top of his lungs.

I'm fine with signs, just put them up when it is appropriate, though.

ive been through that at a few live events. although my most recent experience was not the fans fault. it was the slammys raw that kane returned. We were second row ringside and this Guy behind us was sooooo loud and had a cardboard sign like david arquettes in ready to rumble. for the first hour it was extremely annoying but as time went on and we heard his party speaking to him, and we found out he was mentally disabled. I felt bad for being upset.
On a more legit annoying note, i took my son to a house show and we were 4th row, and this guy kept standing up with his signs ALL night, during matches and all. RIGHT in front of my 5 yr old. I asked him to please stay seated during match so my son could see. he said he paid money too. i informed security who got him to tone down.

I'm fine with signs, just put them up when it is appropriate, though. My thing with signs is, I'm fine with them, if you are holding them up for a specific person during their segment. I don't want to see a Chris Jericho sign held up all night, when he was done after the first segment of the show. That gets annoying. It sucks they ruined your night. For the most part, I've been fairly lucky when attending events & not being around rude people. A few weeks ago I went to the UFC on Fox weigh-ins & had 2 drunk guys behind me (this is also at 3 pm) who spilled beer down my back. Really didn't like that too much.

At least they're ing making noise. I'd much rather sit next to them than some analytic wrestling fan that sits on his hands the whole night, only to go home and bitch and moan about the crowd sucking on the internet. I'm not referring to you. That is just a pet peeve I have.

I'm fine with signs, just put them up when it is appropriate, though. that’s the whole thing - people suck. they rather don’t know or don’t care about what is or isn’t appropriate.

Only problem I've had was twice having a screechy kid seated right behind me. The worst was Raw in Glasgow in November 09, after intermission I had to switch seats as I had been in the wrong one all night and when I did I had to listen to the most obnoxious, ear piercing foul mouthed little kid who just wouldn't stop screaming, yelling, ranting & raving.
