Oh well, I really expect an attitude set or something with guys we have already gotten. Hopefully not, but It's what I expect.
Not DX Not Evolution Can't be Horsemen Can't be NWO Heenan Family members are too obscure for Mattel at this point.

Haku w/Arms Barbarian w/jacket & heat Big John Studd w/Legs Hercules w/torso Using the Heenan Family to make THE BRAIN!!! I have no interest in any of those people you just named. And I if they did make those figures they would do horrible in sales and end up being shelf warmers since not many people know about them or who they are.

if its an Attitude set then that's going to save me a heluvalot of money. Heenan set sounds great. I hate the Attitude Era and will buy nothing from it. I wouldn't have bought DX either.
I want build a Heenan with: Haku Studd Patera Rude with mullet
it seems very unlikely.
or managers with Heenan Fuji Jimmy Hart Albano
I need all of those before anyone from the Attitude Era, or debut Cena, Orton, Rey, and Sheamus. Debut Taker I would buy.

I really don't know because as stated if it is an attitude set, we have already gotten the main guys from it (Austin, Michaels, Rock, Foley,Etc).
I could see a debut set of some current guys, but that is a disappointment.
Something with some McMahons, but they wouldn't try that at retail. Don't see the Nation being good sellers. I don't know.

alright, here we go. Threw together my best guess for who's under Legends contracts. Based on whats been released, what will be released, ppl included in the matty legends poll and those who are on the WWE Staff.
Steve Austin Hawk Animal Ricky Steamboat Dusty Rhodes Sgt. Slaughter Rick Rude Jimmy Snuka Iron Shiek Terry Funk [Chainsaw Charlie] Jake Roberts Kamala The Rock Mr. Perfect Hacksaw Jim Duggan Vader Brian Pillman British Bulldog Ax Smash [Repo Man] Ultimate Warrior Paul Orndorff Hillbilly Jim George "The Animal" Steele Macho Man Randy Savage Rick Martel George Gray [One Man Gang/Akeem] Bam Bam Bigelow Eddie Guerrero Kerry Von Erich [Texas Tornado] Kevin Von Erich Magnum TA Andre The Giant DDP Nikolai Volkoff Roddy Piper Bob Orton Luke Butch Shawn Michaels Marty Jannetty The Undertaker King Kong Bundy Arn Anderson Tully Blanchard Miss Elizabeth Barry Windham Brian Adams [Crush] Doink Don Muraco Ron Simmons [Farooq] Ted Dibiase Junkyard Dog Savio Vega Tito Santana Vince McMahon Rey Mysterio Paul Wight Glen Jacobs [Kane/Isaac Yankem] Randy Orton HHH Christian John Cena Fit Finlay Chris Jericho Mark Henry Jerry Lawler William Regal [Lord Steven Regal] Brock Lesnar Charles Wright [Papa Shango/Godfather/Kama Mustafa] Big Boss Man Yokozuna Kevin Nash [Diesel] Mick Foley [Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack] Honky Tonk Man Matt Bloom [Prince Albert/Tensai] Bret Hart Booker T John Layfield [JBL/Bradshaw] Dean Malenko Pat Patterson Paul Heyman Road Dogg Jesse James Billy Gunn Michael Cole Paul Bearer Jim Ross Norman Smiley Terry Taylor [Red Rooster] Steve Keirn [Skinner] Steve Lombardi [MVP/Kim Chee] Harvey Wippleman Blackjack Lanza Mike Rotunda [I.R.S] Michael Hayes Billy Kidman Gerald Brisco Howard Finkel Gene Okerlund Sean Waltman [Xpac/Syxx/1-2-3 Kid] Lex Luger Joey Styles Shane McMahon Stephanie McMahon Linda McMahon Tony Atlas Mae Young Jimmy Hart Trish Stratus Lita Sherri Martel
**Probably not signed** Dustin Rhodes [Goldust] Edge Batista
I included some current guys who've been around long enough to possibly receive a Flashback. So hopefully the 4 are somewhere in that list. My guess was DX. Now I'm leaning towards Nation of Domination [Kama Mustafa, Farooq, Mark Henry and The Rock]
or maybe a belt set to include belts we haven't gotten yet. MDT stated recently that the "Hardcore title is coming". Since we know its not in anything up to Elite 22. Chances are its in Elite 23+.
Which also it being a themed set, belts would make sense. Since Elite 23 would come out @ retail around Mid-Oct...which doesn't really coincide w/ any big WWE events.
Also assuming the Flashback set is Elite 23. It could be 24....or an unannounced store exclusive set?
They said its a "no-brainer", but the only no-brainers would be DX or some kinda Attitude era set.
Most likely it will be a debut attire series Orton, Rey, Cena, Rock

All of those Nation guys are signed I assume since Simmons was on the Legends poll, but that set doesn't interest me in the least. I would like a WCW Simmons, but I just don't care for the others, and I don't think it would be a good seller at retail either.
Mattel is cautious with the Flashbacks due to the Legends failure, and I don't think that is a good lineup. It has to be popular guys I think. Just my opinion of course.

Nobody hates the best era in wrestling history While I don't hate it, I don't find it to be the best era in wrestling history. It's the era I grew up with, but going back and watching it, a lot of it was pretty bad. I'll always have a soft spot for anything Stone Cold though. My personal favorite era would be Hulkamania 84-93. Just the amount of talent in those days. I'm depressed we may never get a Mattel Hogan.

Oh well, thinking about it, I really just think it will be a debut set of current guys especially if this is going to be a normal Elite series release. If it is an exclusive series to TRU or something, then maybe it could be something different.
