unless he magically has a blade in the palm of his hand.. i dont see how he cut himself... thanks for the video back up drifter... No problem. It almost looks like he was going to try and use his right arm to protect himself, but just didn't get it in position at the right time.

As much as I enjoyed the kick off of Raw. I still don't want to see the re-match. I'd rather see Taker Vs Brock

I'm a sucker for anything involving Lesnar. This definitely got me excited though. Hopefully they make it a HIAC. Yea pretty much. I wasn't looking forward to this at all either. But every time any feud with Lesnar actually starts, I begin to get pumped for it. The blood def added to it though no doubt. HHH coming out like a ball of fire added to the intensity as well. Suddenly, and surprisingly, now looking forward to the build up from here on out

WWE should take note: a little blood goes a long way towards creating intensity for a match. I don't recommend every Raw and every PPV end in a blood bath, but once in a while like tonight's opening segment can be extremely powerful. Tonight's melee was reminiscent of when Brock busted up Cena's mouth last summer in the build-up to their match. Both incidents were accidental but no doubt the blood added a lot to the pre-match hype.
Side note: did anybody else notice that right after HHH tackled Lesnar and they were rolling around outside the ring, it looked like for just a moment Brock flashed back to his UFC days and started to go for a leg hold of some kind?

I loved the brawl! The blood definitely added to the intensity and I can't wait for the rematch!

I just wish it wasn't the inevitable build to Trips going over on Lesnar. That would be like three PPVs in a row Lesnar has done the job. I'm getting tired of hearing "he still looked like a monster in defeat". If Lesnar doesn't go over on this one, I'm going to have a real hard time believing the monster can beat whoever his next feud may be.
It's like Jericho's "Best at what I do" run last year where he jobbed PPV after PPV after PPV - it was more laughable than the whole point of getting other people over.

He's wrestled twice: Lost to Cena (and he DID still look like a monster in defeat) and beat Triple H at SummerSlam by breaking his arm. How would losing to Triple H be bad here? The story behind this match is vengeance for attacking a man's father-in-law. In no way has Brock been made to look weak, and short of a complete squash at WrestleMania, which I doubt, Brock will be fine after the match.

I'm not condoning a return to the Attitude Era days where it seemed every other week someone got the juice. but intensely personal feuds like this ,hell some color can help out! I mean, just days ago most people didn't give a crap about HHH vs Lesnar at Mania. now? well, hell, this whole topic is about how some intensity and blood has gotten most of us pumped for this feud!

That's how you start a feud though. No promo, no talking. Just coming out and beating the living hell out of each other. Now we will get 5 weeks of Triple H TALKING to Paul Heyman. Which will suck.
But a good start that should hopefully end in a great match.

He legitimately suffered a cut on his head when HHH pushed him to the ringpost.. WWE doesn't want blood anymore remember. It was an accident. Watch it again and you can clearly see it was legit. No self cutting...

I don't know, I hear what you're saying - I actually forgot Brock won his SS2012 match against Trips, thought he lost and then broke Trips's arm. I guess I can't get really pumped up for this feud knowing that the blow off will be Trips getting vengance for his father-in-law and the loss at SS. Rather, I wish WWE would throw us a curve ball and see Brock totally decimate Trips at WM29, and position him as the unstoppable monster to line up feuds with Shaemus or Henry, or Del Rio for the rest of the year. Shaemus is being positioned as the next face of WWE, but he's as corny as Cena on the mic - would love to see a program with Brock to beat the tar out of each other.

I was looking forward to it anyway. I think some of you don't get excited for much these days.
The cut was surely an accident. I cringed at the hit against the post, it was a hard knock to the back of the head. It was funny, I was sure (as I'm sure many were) that Triple H's music was gonna hit about 5 seconds before it did and I was certain from the second Brock hit the ground after that ringpost smack that his head would be pouring blood shortly.

No self cutting... I didn't see anyone (at least on this page) implying that it was on purpose. Just stating that the blood added to it. Anyway, I agree with whoever said, I hope it is Hell In A Cell no doubt those two would make a great match out of it.

I just hope this doesnt turn out like Triple H-Randy Orton at Mania a few years ago. By far one of the best builds to a feud in a LONG time, only to have the match be a complete flub that wasnt fit for SuperStars. Seriously, who the hell told them to hit their finishers in the first 2 minutes of a match?! Worse planning for a 'main event' in a long time. I loved that part. Pretty much the only good bit of the match.

They really need to have a stiff, braw at Mania. No ****footing around like SummerSlam. No DQs, no holds barred, just a straight up ass whooping blood bath to blow yhis fued off.
Thats why Cena/Brock was amazing because it literally looked like they beat the crap outta each other. Trips/Brock at SS on the other hand didnt seem as heated because of the lack of blood

I've been pumped for this match since Summer Slam. Kinda obvious they were going with a rematch and I can't wait.
As for the blood. Yeah the first time Lesnar hit the pole, I thought he hit way too hard. And when the blood starting running I wasn't surprised. But it certainly added to the legitimacy of the fight.

I will say the brawl got my hyped. I'm not gonna complain. At first I was annoyed at a rematch but I'm sure it'll be a good match
