Recently I decided to stop on by to McDonald and try a Fila O Fish and to my surprise it was actually quite delightful, I liked it so much so that I picked another one up the next day. But after those two consecutive Fila O Fish days, I thought about this old commercial that I always liked whenever it aired on TV. Not sure if everyone remembers it but it had this really catchy whistle like tune which may have sparked my interest for the sandwich even more. Just to give this thread meaning, has anyone here ever tried a Fila O Fish and if so what do you think about it?
Btw, I'm kind of hungry... lol

Do they still steam the bun? That started toward the end of my five year run as a McDonald's employee. I never understood why somebody would want a soggy bun. After I had the freedom to experiment with the food, one of my best creations was the Fish Mac: two fish filets on a big mac bun with lettuce, slivered onions, tomato, cheese, one squirt of tartar sauce, and one squirt of big mac sauce.

The two that I've eaten didn't have a soggy bun so I guess not. Thank goodness. 1) Nobody wants a wet bun. 2) Having a fairly large machine with the sole purpose of steaming buns for the worst selling sandwich (except during lent) made zero sense to me.

I have an old VHS tape of really old McDonald's commercials. Whenever my friends & I watched it, we'd all crave McDonald's. I miss Captain Crook.

Aughh, I can't begin to explain to you how weird it is for me to watch this commercial. Something about the way the guy is chewing and bobbing but not bobbing to the music always kept me stuck in it without fail. I am nuts. Fun fact about that commercial and not sure where on the internet I read it, but Anthony Kiedis wrote *stops mid sentence* Just looked it up, I guess I had read misinformation. Someone wrote the jingle elsewhere, it was compared to something sounding like Anthony Kiedis and it snowballed from there to the lie that I almost just tried to tell! Whoops!

I had it once during lent and it was buy one get one free. I said how bad can it be, it ended up being horrible. I don't think i even ate it and just threw it away. My cousin's husband loves them though.

Never had the sandwich, but I tried the fish mcbites today & thought they were alright. I was a little surprised & grossed out when they asked if I wanted buffalo sauce with them. I love buffalo sauce, but don't want it anywhere near fish.

Easily the best thing on McDonalds' menu. That's not saying much, however.

They are so good.
I get it without the cheese though. Sometimes I ask for extra tartar sauce too.

I remember those sandwhiches being 1 dollar. So now when Mcdonalds thinks im paying 3 dollars for it I pass. I'd rather go eat something else than a 3 dollar fish patty.

Usually when I do Fast Food its taco bell.
