Hey all.
Recently I won a 97-98 Home Jordan jersey, but unfortunately it's a size too big, so I decided to keep it purely for collection purposes, but having it makes me want one I can wear. I've tried eBay, and it's full of bootlegs and random jerseys that were never licensed, plus people are charging $400 for some of them. Is there some kind of site that sells vintage jerseys for a reasonable price? Like $100-$200?

Define "vintage" are you talking about actual old jerseys that were released back say in the 80s/90s or just Jerseys of older guys made by companies like Mitchell & Ness etc?

I do not advocate knockoffs in any way, but there's a logical reason they exist. If you want an authentic, legit vintage jersey then you're gonna have to pay a premium. There are very few of them around, so if the seller knows what they have you have no choice but to pay more. Plus you won't find too many older jerseys in original condition. This place has a few Champion jerseys in random sizes, though: store.theforestlab.com/product/shaquille-o-neal-magic-32

The amount of knock offs on eBay is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous are the asking prices. I collect MLB jerseys but unless I score a smoking deal, I never buy more than the cheaper replica jerseys. It would be awesome to find some older Braves jerseys though. I would kill for a Greg Maddux world series jersey.

The Jordan I got from eBay is legit, I had it checked on another site that specializes in Jordan merch. It's an pro cut from 97-98 made by Nike. Even has the plus 4 body length. They sell for $300-$550 on eBay, got mine from a seller who's listing read "Jordan Jersey" so maybe he didn't know what he had. I paid $50 shipped for it. Now I just need a red road one.

I've bought really old jerseys from Goodwill before with new tags before. (Pistons Hill jersey) Unfortunately they've become too picky so you won't find real old jerseys anymore. Amazon is OK, though. I prefer it.
