I'm happy to say Jakks mishandling of this line is slightly less important to me now, as my Link Between Worlds Figma just came in stock, which with a quick repaint is close enough to represent Link To The Past - my favorite Zelda game. Really impressed with that figure, so thankfully I no longer have to hope for Jakks to do LTTP Link, which I'd guess they will never end up getting around to anyway, and looking at their pathetic "dollar-store" attempt at OOT Link it'd probably look like crap even if they did. Also got the Joyride/Nintendo Power Samus, which while lacking in articulation is a great sculpt, so that's Super Metroid ticked off too, and again I doubt Jakks in their infinite wisdom will ever bother covering one of the most popular and highly regarded games of all time. For some reason.

Despite being ordered about 30 minutes apart and having shipping labels created at the same time, my order with Villager, Mario, and Koopa made it here yesterday, while Peppy got sent a day later and is taking a slightly different route. There's a Tortoise and the Hare joke in here somewhere. Few quick pics. Koopa- nothing new here, if you have red, you know what to expect. Villager- maybe a bit bigger than I'd like, but he's cool. Nice artic in the arms and his legs have nice knee joints and pivot at the hips, but I can't help but feel like he was sculpted to have full ball hips. Mario- nothing new sculptwise, but his paint job is pretty cool. He's like a murky translucent plastic with an iridescent paint over him, looks like a soapy bubble. A little paint maybe to give him an M on his hat and some pupils might've looked nice, but still a cool figure. Only gripe is that inside his chest there's an "A2" sculpted in there to help with assembly, that we were never meant to see, but since he's clear, we do now. A little distracting. That's the Figuarts shell for comparison All my Marios. I'd LOVE a Frog suit version. And Hammer suit. And Metal. You guys know I love my items and accessories. Here's most of the SSB items I have. I think I have a bat laying around somewhere I can turn into a SSB version and I'm sure a beam sword would be easy. Probably get a Heart Container soon. Wish I could've afforded a Maxim Tomato Kirby.

Despite being sent a day later and taking a much odder route than the previous package, Peppy has landed.

Starting to get into this line. Jakks, you get more of my money lol.
I managed to get Star Power Mario (the one shown above) for retail price. It's awesome! It really does look like a bubble or something. I'm getting all of the Pikmin. Found purple at Target, got blue in the mail, red is easily available. I really hope they make a pink flying Pikmin and a white Pikmin (already have the plush).
It's a shame they don't have the rights to Kirby (HAL), because that's the biggest marketable omission thus far with the highest potential in cool characters. So many Kirby hat variations they could've done, and so many cool baddies. Maybe one day they'll work something out.
The Splatoon squid plushies are very cool. There's several out now, with teal just releasing. I have orange and plan on getting teal.
The 2.5 inch figures are my favorite. $3-5 for a little figure is exactly what I'm looking for to supplement my WWE collection. They're also so small that they're spacious for the shelf.

Well, seeing as how it's almost holiday season....that just made the list! My girlfriend got me these adorable little mini Kirbys last Christmas. They're a little too small to fit in with the rest of the collection, but that looks perfect.

That company has a Meta Knight coming in March too. Really excited for him.
That Kirby is awesome. One of the few figures that I was truly impressed with when I opened him. You'll love him.
Hopefully Jakks shows off some new stuff soon. Lots of figures I'll be adding on my shelf in the coming months. Meta Knight, TP Link, Zelda, Arthur, "Ryu Hayabusa" (The generic blue ninja from Fwoosh's self produced line that's clearly supposed to be based on him)

Thing I want most is SNES style F-Zero cars, but doubt Jakks will do them or anything from the SNES era really.

You mean the Link Between Worlds one? Thats a 3DS game. This dude is REALLY particular with his figures, although I believe he is getting it... Chun Li is neca but other two are imports. Really happy to own these. Bday presents from my girlfriend. I had a ton of fun posing around both Link and Kirby. Both fantastic figures as well as the Chun Li. Great pic, can't wait to get my LBW Link, though I'm planning on customizing it to be closer to Link To The Past version. Really hope Figma continues to go through the back catalogue of Zelda games, obviously Twilight Princess versions of Link AND Zelda are coming which look pretty good. But I've got my heart set on an official Figma Link To The Past Link and Zelda. The LBW figure wouldn't take much retooling to work for LTTP IMO. Plus of course we need a Figma Ocarina Of Time Link and Zelda. Ideally adult AND child versions of both. I mean it's Ocarina Of Time, they would sell plenty no question. Also would love to see Figma tackle some more classic gaming properties, like Metroid, F-Zero, Streets Of Rage, Alundra, Tomba, Oddworld, etc. And we need an MGS1 Solid Snake. Weird how they did MGS2 Snake but not MGS1.

Anyways, Assassin- it's gotta be coming soon. Do you own the collected trade paperback of a Link to the Past that were originally in Nintendo Power? I love those

Anyways, Assassin- it's gotta be coming soon. Do you own the collected trade paperback of a Link to the Past that were originally in Nintendo Power? I love those Yeh I'm getting the Figma LBW Link, though only because it's the closest thing available to a Link To The Past version. I'll probably do some minor customization on mine to get it closer to the LTTP look. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice figure but Link To The Past was what got me into Zelda and will always have the most nostalgic value to me. So I still really want Figma to do a LTTP artwork based Link figure, and I'd probably buy a LTTP Zelda if they did her too. They're now doing Twilight Princess figures so I really hope they continue through the back catalog of other Zelda games. To answer your question no I don't have any interest in Zelda comics/manga.

The new 4-inch series just started hitting. I really want the teal blue Yoshi. Inkling Boy is pretty cool, too.
I found the 2.5 inch trophy Mario on Black Friday of all days. Went to the dollar store last night in search of 2.5 DK and green Yoshi, who has strangely become kinda hard to come by, walked out with Bullet Bill (with coin). To my knowledge, they're the exact same as other figures released, just packaged with the 4-inch accessories.
