Do any of you guys see a big name wrestler jumping ship from WWE to TNA in the near future? TNA is starting to get more known around the world I think one day we will see big names jump shift. What do you think?

Zack Ryder would be a great TNA champion. Seeing as though pretty much anyone can do it. Even though he isn't a "big name". I keep forgetting how over-literal alot of you s are.

I think it could happen some day. Just not when they are on Spike TV. They make the jump to fox and are on FX. I could see them doubling in ratings, and signing away big names, and stuff. Panda energy has the money. They just are smarter money wise then WCW was. They get on a big network like Fox and they most definately will be getting paid more for the show, and there ratings will go up automatically.
The main reason why TNA's ratings are low is because casual fans don't know it exists and extreme wrestling fans don't want to give it a chance as long as Hogan is there. Its been great ever since Roode lost at Bound For Glory and then turned heel. Aces and Eights may not be perfect. However how anyone can say Aces and Eights is as bad as fart jokes, corny Cena jokes that make no sense, The Big Slow, Headlocks Orton, etc.
I haven't seen an Impact in the past 2 years I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Meanwhile I have yet to see a WWE show this year on TV that I enjoyed.

People thought they were reading to go head to head on Mondays four-five years ago (Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle feud, a legitimate Abyss, an awesome x-division, Jeff Jarrett still able to carry the company, Matt Morgan almost as main event status, Christian Cage, Sting having good matches and feuds, cult favorites like Shark Boy, Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams and an awesome tag division. I could go on forever) and there's nobody saying that now. Impact feels like a poor-mans Raw with a few exceptions.

I'd like to see Orton go to TNA and Bobby Roo come to WWE.

It all depends on if the 'E will actually fire a big name if they have the chance. They have been VERY careful about who they let over the past year or two. More so than they've ever been. Even being so careful as to not fire lower card guys. They haven't had a "spring cleaning" in quite some time other than letting some FCW guys go.
Just for fun, let's pretend that Randy Orton was just let go for violating the wellness policy for the 3rd time. Honestly, I don't think he would actually go to TNA because he has such strong ties with Triple H. On the other hand, let's take someone like Jack Swagger and pretend that he was let go after his arrest a few weeks back. There's no doubt in my mind that he would jump to TNA. There's also no doubt that he would drop them like a bad habit if the 'E came calling.

From an interview with Orton during his 2008 injury time off:

You probably won't find that many guys praising Triple H unless they have to for their jobs sake.

I could picture CM Punk having some sort of falling out with WWE at some point down the road, and moving on to TNA just to screw with them... drop some pipe-bombs, etc. He could get sick of the booking, or just plain bored...
And that would probably get me to watch TNA again...
I guess he could use the CM Punk name, too...

Jeff Hardy was the #2 or 3 draw in the WWE when he left back in 2009. I am sure a lot of the top guys in the WWE right now would go to TNA if they got a deal like Sting has ($500,000/yr to work 2 TV tapings and a PPV each month)

One of the main reasons people were jumping to TNA is because of the easy work schedule. Move to Florida and once-twice a week film a show in Orlando. Now that they're on the road every day like the WWE is AND they dont pay even remotely half of what WWE would. No big money making star is going to jump. Whether you like it more or not, TNA is still the B rated wrestling company. Instead of plucking has beens and mid carders from WWE like they have, they should have been plucking big stars from places like ROH like they use to. Thats how they got stars like Aries, Styles and Joe. If they would have played their cards right they might have been able to add guys like Cesaro, Ambrose, Rollins etc.

I think it will happen but not in the near future. TNA is growing but apparently morale is getting bad. I think that would be a big factor in a wrest let's decision.

If it's true that TNA is kind of screwing guys on pay, I wouldn't be surprised if some people left there. I wouldn't mind seeing Joe in WWE

Wouldn't really want anyone from WWE outside of Orton or Christian tbh.
