Very much hoping to find him in stores. Looks like a great figure and will be a great addition to my legends collection.

midcarder? he held the ic title for like 3 years straight longest title reign in history still. I may be confused, but how is that a midcarder? Isn't that like calling punk a midcarder then? well anyways I want the figure and need it for my collection. on a side not WTF is with the 4 flashback set. All crap I really was hoping they were using it to get us some more 80's guys. You know the IC Title is a midcard title right? And that CM Punk held the WWE Title, which is the Main Event title, for 14 months straight? I mean there are exceptions to the rule, Rowdy Roddy Piper, but HTM wasn't one of them. Regardless, the figure turned out amazing and I can't wait to get my pre-order. I think it's one of those figures that even if you weren't a fan of the guy you may still want to pick it up for the cool factor. I do hope he opens the door somewhat, as I would really like a Kona Crush or a Mountie figure.

Seeing Honky's red tights and white boots makes me want a JYD. Not sure how his figure would fare today though.

I get tired of people talking about mid carders like that's an insult. There are hundreds of wrestlers and only a handful make it to the top. To have thee legacy HTM has is something that should be recognized and appreciated, not mocked. I think people got confused when that jobber crew in WWE started calling themselves the mid card mafia a year or two back.

IMO, there are too many Takers, HHHs, Machos and Warriors. Any new 70s, 80s or 90s jobber, lower- mid carder or mid carder is more than welcome in my collection.

Well regardless of what you consider Honky tonk Man's card status to be, the fact of the matter is that his Flashback figure went on back order pretty damn fast. So, obviously a lot of people want his figure and care enough about the character to buy it that quickly. Hell, he sold out quicker than Ryback's first elite, so I think that says something (regardless of the case assortments).
oh and uh, yeah...I just checked and he's now SOLD OUT on RSC, not even back-ordered but the dreaded, "sorry this item is out of stock" status.
I for one pre-ordered day 1 and cannot wait to get him in the mail (should be this week). We really needed more 80s guys and HTM was always a great character and a memorable wrestler from that era. He, in my opinion, looks like one of the best flashbacks ever made.

Honky's IC title reign, fueds with Savage, Snake, Warrior, & him being a main part of the Mega-powers coming together, and him main eventing a TON of house shows, make him a Main Event guy for me!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOO Happy mattel made this figure.

Besides JAkks, if memory serves, HTM was a shelf warmer for Hasbro too... how times have changed. *Shake, rattle and roll*
