Was neat to watch the Braves beat the Marlins in an empty stadium last night.

This rain is a good thing. Aside from the obvious disappointment of not being able to play when the offense was so hot, the Yankees avoided having to use Nova and Hughes!
If we can get 2 consecutive rain outs every 5 days on Nova and Hughes' days, we can make it through the year with a 3 man rotation, lol.
The Yankees are still pitching CC, Kuroda and Pettitte against the O's this weekend. So for a 3 game Series at home with our top 3 going.....the Yankees couldn't ask to be any better set up than this.

Quentin can go himself. What a little bitch. You lead the league is getting hit and you think its personal?

I hope someone hurls a fastball into his face after that disgrace. Catcher needs faster reflexes. But yeah, it's complete crap. If you're deliberately throwing at a guy you don't hit him on a 3-2 count in a one run game.

That was a nice win by the Braves tonight.
Shocked to hear the amount of Braves fans there tonight. They were very loud. We are lucky to have Turner Field half full many nights. Long ago we had a national following (TBS), but I thought them days were gone. A lot of transplants in DC I guess.

Quentin got 8 games. Nothing announced on Greinke though it'd be a kick in the balls to suspend him since he'll be missing 8 weeks. I think Quentin should have gotten minimum 15 as I said above. Mattingly felt he should be suspended as long as Greinke is out.

Quentin is a punk. Like someone said before you can't lead the league in HBP and then throw a ginormous hissy fit when you get hit. What a punk ass bitch.
Anyway, the Marlins are a team of rejects. They're just awful. And it took the Phillies 10 innings to beat them. Ugh.

Phil Hughes sucks. I'm so glad I didn't go to the game. I was going to go when Kuroda was scheduled to pitch, but I couldn't bear the thought of sitting through watching Phil Hughes try and pitch.
I can't wait until Pineda and/or Wang are ready and we can send Hughes and Nova away for good. They are both just completely useless.

Wang hasn't pitched effectively in the majors in 5 yrs. Last year he posted an ERA over 6 and a WHIP over 2. Yeah, that's gonna work out well. Pineda is coming off an injury to his throwing shoulder. Good luck with him being effective this year.
