UPDATE: 5/25 Now that I have Ryback in hand, yeah, he's too skinny and just has overall odd proportions. His arms look really long compared to his legs and he's just too thin. He looks like a shrimp next to guys like Lesnar and Zeke (who he is just as big as, if not bigger), and even looks small next to Cena. Looking at Zeke's figure, they could fix this by just sculpting a new torso and a new head (I tried to get a pic of the current head on the Zeke body, but it sits WAY too low on the body to remotely look right, they'd need a new one that was made for the new torso). They could just cast the Zeke hip joints in the same color and not need to sculpt new sculpted singlet hips (like the current one has). I'm sure Lesnar's calves or Ryback's current calves could work on Zeke's legs. Here's some pics A glimpse at what he could look like. Wider, more muscular, body. Less ripped, bigger legs. The cloth singlet is kinda making him a little wider than he needs to be, but you get the idea. Also, Mattel has the molds available for... THE RYBARK!!! __________________________________________________________________________________________ So some of us were discussing how skinny the Elite Ryback looks. In real life Ryback isn't just muscular, but he's really thick too, he has a wide waist, wide lower torso, and thicker legs. Some of us suggested that he get the Lesnar/Zeke torso with a sculpted torso. It's big and wide with the big traps, and would have to be on the wider waist like Zeke's. Toss in some newly sculpted thighs (he could use Lesnar's calves) and the same arms as Lesnar and we'd be in business. I'm sure we'll be getting plenty of Rybacks in the future, so I'd rather they be as perfect as possible instead of the mediocre looking one we're getting now. No reason that he should be so much smaller than Lesnar, when he's probably bigger than Lesnar in real life. Plus Mattel could at least get their money's worth from the current Ryback mold with a singleted Ultimate Warrior. And they could double their money on the next Ryback with people rebuying him, saying it's been improved to fit fan demand, lol.

Basics are only mildly screwed up, but the Elite scale has been wonky for some time now.
On his own, B27 Ryback looks awesome. Then I put him on my shelf and the problems begin.
He's the same size as Batista, Triple H, Old John Cena figures, Mason Ryan, and Ultimate Warrior. And new John Cena is bigger, wider, and more muscular. Newer elite versions of Cody Rhodes, John Morrison, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Ricky Steamboat, and Dolph Ziggler have more muscle mass in their arms, and Rhodes and Ziggler have thicker legs. Alberto Del Rio has the same size arms as Ryback.
I get it, these are mass market toys, but when they make better versions, the money flows in. Somebody like Ezekiel Jackson looked okay when they did his first figure, but remember how excited everyone was with his new figure and how many people bought it. Now imagine if it was someone as on fire as Ryback is now. I'm for it.
P.S. I'd take Mattel's flawed approximate scale over Jakk's no-scale any day of the week. If Ryback had debuted during Jakks run, they would have used the Deluxe Aggression Finlay torso, because it had a singlet and was puffed up, I'm sure.

His shoulders are almost big enough, but the problem is his tiny waist.
He has the same problem as L3 Mr. Perfect - big shoulders and a tiny waist that makes him look like a character from Batman the Animated Series.

Mattel has body size scale issues for sure Finlay's figures made him look like he weight 114lbs, same with Dreamer, and Zeke's first figure.
Problem is, everybody is different and its too costly to create body molds for each person

I was just noticing this morning how much bigger the Lesnar Basic is than Ryback & I know that if he's not bigger than Lesnar then they are about the same size.

His figures are definately too small and need an all around makeover as far as parts go. Bigger chest, waist, arms, thighs, etc. I still love my ryback fig though

well if you want it accurate then brock is way bigger than ryback so that wouldn't be accurate. I don't understand when someone says I want it as accurate as possible then throws a formula out there that's totally inaccurate. how about they just need a new mold bigger than warrior yet smaller than brock for ryback that's called being accurate like you said you wanted it to be

Ryback is just as muscular as Brock, just as bulky and a more ripped too. Brock isn't anywhere near as jacked as he used to be.

Ryback is WAY too small. Mattel messed up the Basic and the Elite. Now we all have to buy doubles lol

fat chance they're making another.
This figure is a new mold. They likely didn't make it Rybacks shape so they could use it again.
Also...no chance we get an Ultimate Warrior in a singlet. I don't even recall him wearing one (tho i realize he did at some point)
the skin tone is wrong. waist is tiny he has no traps. he should look stocky.

Yeah I was just thinking that! Dont get me wrong all Rybacks figures are great, but Ryback is a thick muscular guy, maybe a retooling of a wider torso for E24 Ryback (not confirmed) just assuming we will get many Rybacks frequently due to being a popular guy with colorful attires ala Rey Mysterio. Either way I'll buy him tho, Great Job Mattel!!

Agreed, I thought I was the only one who realized how skinny Rybacks legs are in this figure.

I have just received Ryback and he's way too small height wise also.
He is supposed to be 6'3 but he's more like 5'10 to 6'0 compared to others....
Mattel need to sort this in the future! Please Mattel.
