Opening
Heat begins with 8 pyro explosions in the ring with an introduction by Kevin Kelly.
Kevin- Welcome to another edition of Heat here on Sunday afternoon and last Sunday we crowned a new WWF champion at the 31st annual WrestleMania in the Undertaker, but what could be in store over these next coming weeks in the lead up to Backlash!? Kevin Kelly and Michael Hayes here at ringside!
----------------------------
1st Match- Al Snow w/Booker T vs Test w/Jamie Noble (non- title)
Booker T and Jamie Noble on the outside of the ring were having a war of words before the match began, both warning each other off to not get involved in the match. When the bell sounded, Al quickly demonstrated how the size difference could work to his advantage in the match by sliding underneath the legs of Test when whipped off the ropes, to which he followed it up by delivering a dropkick to the back. Hammering the right hands to Test, Al managed to gain a rhythm in the match until Test came out of the turnbuckle with a fierce big boot to the face, changing the complexion of the contest momentarily. On the outside, Noble was cheering Test on, whilst Michael Hayes told of how much pressure the duo of Booker and Al must be facing going into a tag team title match at Backlash. After a harsh suplex by Test, Al is motionless on the canvas whilst Test goes to the top rope and hits a devastating elbow drop. He gets the 3 count and wastes no time escaping the ring away from Booker T who goes in to come to the aid of his partner.
WINNER- Test

RAW RECAP;
Kevin Kelly- So this past Monday on Raw, Mr McMahon made his presence abundantly felt amongst the WWF superstars, making a clear target of the Undertaker since becoming the new World Wrestling Federation Champion, but an unexpected change in attitude lead to Mr McMahon disregarding matches made earlier by Triple H, raising questions as to whether or not the faction was buckling under the pressure.
Michael Hayes- What you have to remember Kevin is that many superstars feel that Triple H has been given one opportunity too many and Vince is well aware that his role in the company is very much frowned upon by many of the athletes, so his new approach I believe is to be a figure of fairness for ALL here in the World Wrestling Federation.
Kevin Kelly- Well certainly this past Monday on Raw, Y2J and Shelton Benjamin made their feelings towards the faction clear when they got involved in the main event which pitted the HeartBreak Kid against Kane.
(Highlights of the match is shown)
-------------------
Michael Hayes- After watching that run in during that match Kevin, I gotta ask, who was responsible for the run in of the Undertaker in the parking lot?
Kevin Kelly- A very good question indeed but unfortunately I don't have the answer to that, what we do know is that Undertaker has suffered bruised ribs as a result of the steel post he was hit with, rumors are swirling all over the locker room as to who did it and who was behind it but no definitive answer has been drawn up.
Michael Hayes- Well coming up next Shelton Benjamin defends his newly won European Championship against the high flying Matt Hardy, don't go anywhere, it's next!
-----------------
2nd Match- European Championship; Shelton Benjamin vs Matt Hardy
With 2 high flying athletes in the ring at the same time each with varying levels of stardom, the recipe for a great match is in the making. The contest began with quick lefts and rights as well as drop kicks, flying forearms and cross bodies. Matt managed to ground Shelton temporarily, seizing the opportunity to attempt a moonsault from the top rope. Shelton saw it coming and moved out of the way, but Matt turned the potentially bad situation into an advantage by amazingly landing on his feet! Shelton attempted a kick but was blocked by Matt, leaving Shelton on one foot.
Michael Hayes- Matt doesn't wanna waste too much time holding onto that foot if he wants to gain the advantage!
As Hayes said that, Shelton connected with a beautiful enziguri that clocked Matt at the side of the head. Benjamin went for a cover but only got a 2 count, as Matt lifted his shoulder up before the 3. The 2 men took it to the outside, where Matt rammed Shelton head first into the ring post, knocking him down for the time being. Matt rolls back into the ring, with the fans believing he was waiting for a count out, to everyone's surprise, Matt leapt high above the top rope and caught Shelton with a high impact collision, but appeared to hurt Matt more than Shelton. Both competitors end up back in the ring, and after a failed twist of fate by Matt Hardy, Shelton dropkicks Matt into the ropes who then rebounds straight into the T- bone suplex by Shelton. The pin was made and Shelton managed to retain his European title.
WINNER (and still champion)- Shelton Benjamin
Kevin Kelly- Another impressive victory for Shelton Benjamin here on Heat but we've just had word from the backstage area that tomorrow night on Raw, Shelton will defend his title against Triple H! One can only believe that this has been done for Triple H to get some retribution against Shelton Benjamin!
Michael Hayes- And it's not a bad idea at all, what a match we've just seen here on Heat and what a great match I anticipate to see tomorrow with the Game and Benjamin!
Kevin Kelly- Thanks for joining us here on Heat, see you next week!
(End of show)
PS. Raw will be up tomorrow for definite. Lots been going on at the moment, apologies!
