"On Monday Night RAW last week, Kofi Kingston won the US title from Antonio Cesaro. That raised a few eyebrows backstage and the belief is that Cesaro is being punished by WWE, especially since management did not even attempt to give him a match at WrestleMania 29. Some also believe that the yodeling was a way to humiliate him as well. We noted several weeks ago that Vince McMahon had soured big time on him." Source: Ewrestling news My opinion: This is stupid if it is true, as Cesaro is a great performer, great heel with okay mic skills, I don't see what's wrong with him as he could still be pushed as still being us champ if he kept the American patriot-type gimmick where he would say he loves America and all that (cant think off a name for the type of gimmick). It just annoys me as he is a really good competitor and the fact his getting well...so called humiliated is to extreme. Your thoughts?

I think people on here enjoy the back stage gossip/rumors and dirt sheets more than the actual wrestling show. Its just speculation dude.

What the heck is EWrestling news?
Sounds like complete speculation from someone trying to create news where there isn't any.

It's always the same. "Vince" is high on someone when they're getting wins on television, "Vince" has soured on them when they happen to go on a bit of a losing spree. I'm sure Cesaro will do just fine.

Not surprised since Cesaro has been jobbing on TV as of late. It seems that the only time that he gets a win is when he's on WWE Superstars.

I'm sure Cesaro will do just fine. It was that way with Punk. He had "nuclear" heat and was in the dog house then a day or so later he won the World Heavyweight title.

This ewrestlingnews seems to just make stuff up. Every post I've seen with them as source has been total bullcrap. I still think Cesaro has suffered because Swagger has come back with his gimmick and as Swagger was in a higher profile feud, they dropped Cesaro's better than americans gimmick within a couple of weeks of Swagger coming back. Maybe Vince has soured on him, but it wouldn't be the first time someones push stopped. He'll be fine.

I swear this site believes everything they read from these low budget sites. I'm going to start one just to see how many treads I can get created here...

yes, anyone could cobble together this report but I wouldn't be surprised if Vince wasn't happy with Cesaro.
Of that crop of talent that came over from ROH, he was definitely my favourite. I was super pumped when he got signed and I was extremely glad that he was brought up as a singles star. But the fact of the matter is that he's not really been able to show he has that 'superstar factor'.
He's a great, throwback wrestler. I'd argue top 5 techincal wise in the company right now. But he hasn't been able to forge a character for himself whatsoever and that's what matters in the WWE. Granted he was brought up with crapty theme music, given a rugby star gimmick and paired up with the godawful Aksana but since then he has had plenty of opportunity to strut his stuff. Enough promo time, multiple commentary sit ins not to mention a lengthy US title run.
He is capable of wwaaaayyy better and it sucks that something hasn't quite clicked for him yet. The business seems a lot less cut throat nowadays with guys like Gabriel, Hennig and Tatsu still hanging in there so hopefully he's able to change things around because I honestly think everything's in place for him to be a 'top guy' eventually. But yeah, if I'd never seen him before WWE, I'd not be surprised by this report at all.

I like Cesaro, solid performer. I was kind of sad to see Kofi end his reign, even though i'm a big fan of Kofi

I don't believe this, I'm hoping that without the US title now it will give the writes incentive to find a way to see if he's ready for upper mid-card status.
