Scarlett Quinn Celebration Ceremony!
At WFWF Psycho Circus Scarlett Quinn did the one thing that nobody thought was possible – she defeated Phillip Schneider and ended his record breaking reign as the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion. For Scarlett that means two things. The first is that she has done what it took her father years to accomplish and the second is that at WFWF Battleground she will defend her title against the veteran Shawn Malakai. But before that Scarlett gets her moment in the spotlight because, as ordered by WFWF co-owner Trace Demon, she will get her very own celebration ceremony exclusively on Revolution. What this will entail is anybody’s guess but the one thing we do know for certain is that it will feature Scarlett Quinn’s first statement since defeating Phillip Schneider and becoming the youngest WFWF World Heavyweight Champion. From one record to another, Revolution is the place to be.
The Main Event!
Cam Nitta vs. Shawn Malakai
So close but so far, those are the words that must be ringing through the ears of Cam Nitta right now. Last night, alongside his former tag team partner and best friend Mak Cross, Cam came up short in his attempt to win his first World Heavyweight Championship here in the WFWF. On the opposite end of the spectrum Shawn Malakai picked up a big victory over Tommy Staxx and was officially announced as the first challenger for Scarlett Quinn’s newly won World Heavyweight Championship. With many people claiming that this very well may be Shawn Malakai’s final chance to capture that World Champion he’ll be looking to build up a full steam of momentum in the coming weeks, while Cam Nitta looks to regain his following his loss in the highest profile match of his career thus far. In a battle of the old vs. the new, who will come out on top?
No Holds Barred Singles Action
Penny Shannon vs. Tommy Staxx
The rumors are true ladies and gentleman, Phillip Schneider has left the building. Following the loss of his World Heavyweight Championship at Psycho Circus Schneider has taken an indefinite leave of absence leaving his recruit Tommy Staxx out in the cold. Who can a man like Staxx blame for Schneider’s departure? Why Scarlett Quinn of course so who better for Staxx to attempt to get his revenge on that Scarlett’s running buddy and tag team partner Penny Shannon? Shannon is coming off of a brutal beatdown of fan favourite Carter Contra at Psycho Circus and will be looking to do the same thing to Tommy Staxx, so what better way to give both of these competitors the chance to injure each other than by throwing them into a match with no rules. No disqualifications, no count outs, anything goes as long as you’re beating on the other guy. This one should be good.
Winner Challengers for the International Championship at ‘Revolution in the UK’
Joe Bishop vs. Hana Brightly vs. Justin Tyme
Next week the WFWF heads across the pond to the United Kingdom and brings it’s primetime television show Revolution with it for the first time ever, and when the WFWF does something this big they do it in style with not one but two championship matches. The first will see Trace Demon, the WFWF International Champion and co-owner of the company; defend against one of these three very competent but very different competitors. Joe Bishop is a man who has truly found his vicious streak after losing the National Championship and is coming off of a huge victory over his recent rival Reckless at Psycho Circus. Hana Brightly gained her place in this match after making a victorious debut in the Psycho Circus pre-show and proving herself to be one to watch while Justin Tyme… well he got involved in a wild animal attack and didn’t compete, but someone has to have faith in him because he got the third spot in this match. For any of these three a victory here would be huge, a chance to challenge for the International Championship and take that next step up the food chain. A loss would be devastating. No pressure guys!
The Return of… that guy!
Jason Vieira vs. Andrew Carter
Jason Vieira hasn’t been seen in the WFWF since 2006. To put that into context in 2006 the current WFWF World Heavyweight Champion was only 11 years old. But at WFWF Psycho Circus he made a shocking return, appearing following the National Championship match between Devilkiller and Andrew Carter and declaring that he was sick and tired of seeing the National Championship, and WFWF’s midcard in general, be lowered to such a disgraceful level (his words, not ours guys). Turns out Andrew Carter wasn’t too happy about that, after he remembered where he was of course, and demanded a match with Jason Vieira for the old face to prove that he isn’t just all talk. WFWF co-owner Trace Demon was all too happy to oblige, though not before asking “what the heck is a Jason Vieira?” Will Andrew Carter be able to send the returning star right back out the door or will it be a successful return for seasoned veteran? There’s only one way to find out.
Proving Ground Battle Royal
Devilkiller vs. Beast Kahn vs. London Urasawa vs. Takeshi Takeda vs. Matt Stephens vs. Zack Star
If you’ve been reading this from the top down then you’ll already know that next week the WFWF is heading to the UK and putting on not one but two championship matches for our fans across the pond. The second of those title matches will be for the WFWF National Championship as Devilkiller defends against… well, we don’t know yet, that’s kind of the point of this match. In the first ever WFWF Proving Ground match the rules are simple, six men, five go over the top rope and one remains standing. If anyone other than Devilkiller is victorious then they will challenge for the WFWF National Championship next week at Revolution in the United Kingdom. If Devilkiller comes out on top then he’ll get to choose his challenger! The stakes are high and the floor really rather low for these six young stars, let’s hope they’re ready.
Trace Demon Addresses the WFWF
At WFWF Psycho Circus Trace Demon defeated Yukio Blaze in one of the most brutal and violent Texas Bullrope matches in recent memory, but that won’t be what either man are remembered for from that show. No, the memory that will linger in fans minds is of Trace Demon hanging Yukio Blaze upside down from the rafters by the bullrope, his blood dripping down onto the International Championship after one of the most violent beatings ever seen. Now, on Revolution, Trace Demon will make an official address to the WFWF fans and roster regarding his actions at the pay per view that have put Yukio Blaze out of action indefinitely. There have been calls for everything from a public apology to his resignation but whatever it is Trace Demon has to say regarding his brutal actions one thing is for certain, it probably won’t be anything like we expect.
