Bucky Lasek: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the biggest showcase in RBW History, welcome to the WrestleMania 9
Kevin Jones: The time has finally arrived, you can feel the excitement in the air, as RBW's 9th mega event has begun!
Bucky: We've got some of the most star studded, blockbuster matches in RBW history here tonight!
Kevin: And you shouldn't expect anything less, WrestleMania is where RBW is at it's best, we've got eight RBW championships on the line tonight, the most highly anticipated one being the RBW Champion; The Undertaker going one on one with the Royal Rumble 9 winner; Jeff Hardy!
Bucky: And not only is this about the most prestigious championship in RBW history, and not only have these two been arch rivals since Jeff broke Undertaker's skull back in 2001, but the fate of RBW hangs in the balance of this match!
Kevin: That's right, if Undertaker wins this match and retains the RBW championship, then RBW will be in the power of the darkside! But if Jeff Hardy can defeat the Undertaker in the WrestleMania main event, then the power will be restored to RBW
Bucky: I hope the power does go back to RBW, it's been so nerve wrecking and catastrophic with The Undertaker being in control, ever since he hospitalized mr Mcmahon there's been no authority figure that can stand up to the darkside, despite Stephanie and Shane's best efforts.
Kevin: If Jeff can win the RBW title tonight, then Undertaker will loose his power over RBW, for he who holds the gold has the power, but we'll just have to see what happens later tonight
Bucky: But right now, it's time to kick the show off, with an intercontintal championship match!
Kevin: Stevie Richards will be defending the title, against Mike Awesome, someone who's been gunning after Stevie for some time
Bucky: Well, Mike's been trying to win that intercontinental title but Stevie is always finding sly ways to retain the title, especially with his father, King Richards, always at his side, this is one fued that's about to reach a boiling point
Kevin: Will Mike Awesome overcome the dastardly tactics of the Richard's or will the champion and his Father find a way to retain the gold? Let's find out, right now!
((Intercontinental Championship ))
Stevie Richards (w/ King Richards) .vs. Mike Awesome
Awesome started the match overpowering Stevie, then points to the King ringside stating that there will be no funny business in this match. As Mike turns around Stevie charges but Mike decks him with a couple of clothlines, a belly to belly suplex, and quickly sets up for the AwesomeBomb, but Stevie quickly escapes and slithers out of the ring. King Richards talks stratedgy with Stevie, but suddenly Awesome hits a running swan dive out of the ring and crushes Stevie to the floor! He rolls Stevie into the ring then climbs the turnbuckle for the big splash, but King Richards runs up the ring apron, so Mike knocks him off. Stevie then takes advantage by grabbing Awesome's leg and yanking him off the top and into the ring with a thud. This changes the momentum in Stevies favour as he works over Mike with some stiff kicks and leg scissor sleeper holds, which eventually get a ropebreak. With Mike worn down Stevie decides to stomp the ring canvas, pumping himself up for the Stevie-Kick, but Mike Awesome ducks and hits a vicious lariat! Both men are down and out for a while as the referee counts them down, but they get up around seven, as Stevie swings but Mike ducks and hits a trio of German suplexes, which gets a two count. Mike then sets up for a powerbomb, but Stevie rolls down into a sunset flip pin, which gets two! Mike gets up and charges but Stevie droptoe holds him into the middle turnbuckle, and rolls him up with his feet on the ropes, but a kickout just before three! Stevie then hooks in the Stevie-T but Mike backbody drops him with a bridge, hitting a northern lights suplex, which gets a two count. Stevie crawls to a corner and Mike charges, but Stevie gets his boot up in Mike's face. Stevie hops up the buckle and leaps off with a diving hurricanrana but Mike catches it and powerbombs Stevie, then pins him one.....two.....then King Richards drags Stevie's foot onto the bottom rope from ringside! King Richards starts yelling at Mike, who hits a baseball slide and sends the King flying into the guard rails. Mike then climbs to the top rope for a big Splash, but Stevie starts getting to his feet so Mike goes for a diving clothesline but Stevie superkicks him in mid-air! Stevie covers Mike for the one....two.....the three count was so close, as Mike kicks out just in time! Stevie then goes up top for a moonsault, and in mid air Mike Awesome rolls out of harms way! Mike the gets up and gives Stevie a huge lariat! He then roars like a boss and goes up top for the big Splash finisher, but by the time he's up there Stevie is following him with some punches. Stevie fights Mike up top and tried to suplerplex him, but to no avail as Mike blocks it. Mike gives Stevie some big rabid headbutts, then grabs him around the waist with a killer look on his face. Mike lifts Stevie up as he positions his feet on the top rope, and all of a sudden Mike Awesome jumps off the top rope giving Stevie a top rope Awesome Bomb to the mat! Mike pins him to three to become the new Intercontinenal champion!
Bucky: Yes! Good for you Mike!
Kevin: A new intercontintal champion has been crowned in Mike Awesome. It's been a rough journey leading up to this match, especially with all the cheating the Richards have put Mike through, but tonight, Mike Awesome has finally overcome adversity and has captured the prize he's been chasing for some time
Bucky: Once again, congratulations to Mike, he totally deserves this win
Kevin: Finally a deserving champion to represent the intercontinental title
Bucky: And speaking of champions, this brings us to our next match. It's going to be a triple threat match for the European championship, pitting the European Champion; Amazing Alan .vs. Kenwood .vs. Randy Wartooth!
Kevin: Oh boy, this match has alot of history behind it. Where do we even start?
Bucky: Well, let's start by looking back at No Quarter Given, where Kenwood managed to defeat Randy Wartooth to become the European Champion. Then at the Royal Rumble 9, Kenwood defended the European title against Amazing Alan, but Randy Wartooth interfered and cost Kenwood the match, and Alan suprisingly took advantage of the win. It was that decision to win the Title that turned Alan into a selfish man, before than he was always reliable and honest, but I guess in the heat of the moment he just went for it and hasn't looked back since. Now you've got Kenwood wanting a rematch with Alan, whilst wanting payback on Randy, then you've got Randy wanting to regain the title, and then you've got Alan who just wants to retain the gold!
Kevin: Boy oh Boy, this is going to be crazy, so many conflicting problems between all these guys
Bucky: Well it's time to see who's got what it takes, as this match is coming up right now...
(( European Championship ))
Amazing Alan .vs. Kenwood .vs. Randy Wartooth
From each corner, all three combatants engaged in a big tense stare down, trying to predict their opponent's first move. They all began to step closer, to meet in the middle of the ring. Amazing Alan started to slowly back away, as Kenwood and Wartooth headed into a tie up. Alan watched from the corner as Wartooth out powered Kenwood from three lockup attempts.
Alan snickered at Kenwood's distain, so Kenwood lunged towards Alan with his fist clenched. The so-called champion, Alan, fled from the ring, abusively ording the referee to stop Kenwood. This distraction lead to Randy Wartooth knock down Kenwood with a running axe handle, followed by some elbow drops. Wartooth flung Kenwood up for a powerslam, but Kenwood wriggled out before ducking Wartooth's lariat attempt, and rebounded off the ropes to dish out a lou thez press, followed by some punches to Wartooth's cranium. Wartooth pushed Kenwood away and into the ropes, as Wartooth charged, only for Kenwood to pull down the ropes and send Randy Wartooth tumbling over and out of the ring!
Wartooth crashed near Alan's feet, who started talking trash to Wartooth, before lifting him up for a suplex attempt. Wartooth broke out and they began exchanging fisticuffs. Meanwhile, Kenwood climbed to the top rope of the turnbuckle, (but slipped and fell onto the apron and then to the floor, before shaking it off, and going back to the top rope again) and hit a diving moonsault all the way down to ringside, taking out Alan and Randy at the same time! Kenwood had the momentum in his favour now, as he rolled Alan into the ring and beat him about with some hard hitting strikes. Wartooth popped up onto the apron but Kenwood knocked him down, which took kenwood's attention away just in time for Alan to unleash a lariat that almost decapitated him! Alan was now in control, chucking Kenwood around with all sorts of slams and suplexes. With a beatdown well delivered, Alan found it appropriate to finish Kenwood off, as he set up for the dominator. In mid-move Kenwood managed to over rotate and DDT ALan at the same time the impact of the dominator slammed Kenwood. Both men were down and out, as the ref began the 10 count, they both managed to get to their feet by the 8 count and began trading punches. All of a sudden Randy Wartooth came flying over the top rope with a springboard double clothesline, taking Alan and Kenwood down. Wartooth hit a german suplex on Kenwood, followed by a pin where Alan broke it up around 2 and a half. Wartooth then hit a german suplex on Alan, who managed to kick out just before a 3 count! Wartooth dragged Alan into the middle of the ring, then went up to the top rope for a frog splash. As Wartooth came flying off the top rope, Kenwood managed to get up to his feet and sneak in a Delicious Jaw Sound Superkick mid-air, just as gravity was bringing Wartooth down!!!
Suddenly Alan grabbed the back of Kenwood's tights and flung him through the ropes and crashing down to the floor ringside! Alan then pinned Wartooth to retain his European Championship title! As Kenwood lay wounded ringside, clutching his tailbone, Alan looked down at him from the top rope shouting 'you will never have this!' pointing at the European title across his shoulder.
Bucky: Gosh, what an abrupt ending! Just when it looked like Kenwood was about to get the win I personally feel he deserved, Alan snuck in and reaped the benefits of Kenwood's hard work.
Kevin: I know, I feel the same, I'm quite disapointed in Alan's behaviour ever since he's won the European title, I think the success has gone to his big, fat, sweaty, Welsh, bald head!
Bucky: The title's changed him, man. Not the guy we once knew, but we do sometimes see that where wrestler's get so carried away with being the champion that they loose sight of what brought them to the dance in the first place
Kevin: Kenwood seems to be the only one out of those three to still haveh morals, and I hope we get to see a rematch down the line.
Bucky: I'd like to see that too, but as far as tonight goes, Amazing Alan is still the European champion
Kevin: And speaking of Championships and the Welsh, we've got Eric Fishlipps and Jon Wales, Known collectively as Fish'N'Chips, who will be challenging the tag team champions, George Steele and Maven, known as the Undertaker's Morticians, and it's for the Tag team Titles!
Bucky: Just like Jeff Hardy .vs. the Undertaker, it's all about taking the power away from the darkside. If Fish'N'Chips can take away the power from the Morticians by winning the Tag Team Titles, then it's not only great for RBW, but for the tag team division aswell
Kevin: veterans in the tag division are Fish'N'Chips, but possibly the longest reigning tag team champions are the Undertaker's Morticians. This one is going to be intense, as Fish'N'Chips have alot to prove about being the best tag team in RBW history aswell as saving RBW from the darkside , and of course the Morticians are upholding the Undertaker's reign of terror while in control of the tag team titles. Something has to give in this next encounter!
(( Tag Team Championship ))
Maven & George Steele .vs. Fish 'N' Chips
The match begun with Jon and Maven chain wrestling back and forth, with Jon seemingly the superior technician with more holds and counters than Maven. A few desperate ropebreaks later and an embarassed Maven tagged out, telling Steele to 'rough him up'. Steele grappled with Jon, but was still outmatched by Jon's technical excellence, so a frustrated Steele back elbowed Jon in the nose to break a hammerlock. Jon staggered back and Eric tagged himself in, and hit a crossbody, but George caught him in mid-air. Jon then hits the ropes and does a chop block so Steele falls back and Eric hits the crossbody after all, for a quick two count pinfall. Maven rushes in the ring but gets a double dropkick by Jon and Eric simmultaneously, that sends a dizzy Maven fall out of the ring. Eric goes on all fours and Jon runs off his back and does a flying plancha over the ropes and takes Maven down ringside! Jon pulls Maven up ringside but Maven shoves Jon spine-first into the ring apron. Eric decides to hit the ropes and for a dive to the ringside bound Maven, but as he rebounds off the ropes, George Steele gets to his feet and decks Eric with a hard clothesline. From here on out it was a big beatdown on Eric, as Steele and Maven would make quick tags and keep Eric in their corner, so he couldn't tag out to Jon. Now and then Eric would fight back and nearly make it the tag to Jon, but the Morticians would always come back stronger and harder each time. That is, until Eric was hoisted onto the top rope by Steele, who went to backdrop-suplex him, but Eric countered the move in mid-air into a crossbody! Both men crashed to the middle of the ring canvas, as the referee started the 10 count. By the count of 7, Steele managed to crawl to Maven and tag him in, just as Eric was nearly about to tag Jon in. Maven ran over and grabbed Eric's leg, pulling him away from Jon's reach, but Eric hopped up onto his free leg, and hit a big enziguri to Maven! With his last burst of energy Eric managed to tag in Jon, who unloaded an array of flying back elbows, and running european uppercuts to both Maven and Steele. Jon took the momentum back to Fish'N'Chips, and even hit a Jon cutter on Steele, but Maven broke up the pin with a nasty stomp to the head. Maven then set Jon up for the Rock-Bottom, but Jon elbowed out and hit a Jon cutter on Maven! Jon pinned Maven 1....2......kickout! Eric then made it to his feet after recovering from his beatdown and signalled for the Fully Battered. Jon hooked and turned Maven in place for a neckbreaker and waited as Eric scaled to the top to deliver the crossbody. As Eric leapt off, Steele managed to pull Maven out of harms way as Eric crossbodies Jon instead of Maven! An alarmed Eric then turns around as George hits a roaring elbow, then lifts Eric up vertically in the air by his legs as Maven comes off the second rope hitting a flying Rock Bottom the same time George hits a flapjack! Maven gets the pin and the tag team titles remain with the Undertaker's Morticians.
Bucky: Oooh, and the darkside retains the gold!
Kevin: It was so close too, Fish'N'Chips nearly had the match one, but those Morticians are just one step ahead of the game
Bucky: Looks like the Undertaker's evil agenda is still fully in tact with the tag gold remaining in the dark circle, but let's not loose hope, Ariel and Undertaker both have their championship titles on the line, let's hope justice prevails and the power is taken away from these evil prats
Kevin: Speaking of prats, the SAW Invaders are making their way to the ring as we speak!
Bucky: These guys came from the SAW wrestling promotion, and invaded RBW at the Royal Rumble, where they mauled Rhyno and Kurt Angle where the leader, Burchill, claimed the hardcore championship title
Kevin: And they're here to start a hardcore revolution, just like how brutal and barbaric SAW wrestling was, but they've got no morals and someone needs to stop them before they go too far
Bucky: Well, Burchill does have to go through nine other wrestlers, so there's a good chance the SAW invaders will be done before they even begin
(( Hardcore Championship ))
Burchill defends the Title in a 10-Man Gauntlet
Entrant #1. Burchill
Entrant #2. RVD
Fellow SAW invaders, Mean Monkey and Tommy Dreamer, shout the odds from ringside cheering on their leader Burchill while bad mouthing Van Dam, as RVD looked down at them and told them to pipe down. With his back turned, Burchill then charged at RVD, but RVD dodged and Burchill crashed into the turnbuckle. RVD hit a high snap kick followed by a leg scissor roll-up pin, that barely got a 2 count. RVD kept Burchill down with a spinning wheel kick, then hit the ropes for a rolling thunder, but Burchill raised his knees up high and RVD's back landed harshly on the pointed knee caps. Burchill followed up with a running spinebuster that sent RVD crashing into the corner, and out of the ring. Burchill picked up a chair and started blasting RVD with it, pinning him after a sufficent amount of abuse, but never got the 3 count. He laid the chair on the floor, and set RVD for a curbstomp, but RVD rolled out of the move. RVD quickly hopped onto the apron and hit a flying martial arts kick to Burchill, which got a 2 count. RVD rolled Burchill back into the ring and then laid the chair ontop of Burchill, then began to climb to the top rope. RVD came off the top rope with a 5-star frogsplash but Burchill threw the chair at RVD in mid-air, catching him in the neck area! Burchill pinned RVD and got the 3 count.
Entrant #3.Farooq
Farooq , with his aptly nickname of 'Trash Master' came down fittingly with a bin in his hands as he entered the ring. He swung the bin into Burchill's gut, doubling the hardcore champion over, as Farooq raised the bin over his head for a bigger bin shot. Suddenly, Mean Monkey then ran onto the ring apron, but Farooq binned him in the head aswell! Burchill then quickly grabbed Farooq by the jeans and rolled him up for a sneaky 3 count victory!
Entrant #4. Zeke
Zeke ran into the ring but Burchill knocked him down with a hard clothesline before Zeke was ready. Burchill then lifted Zeke up for a brain buster but Zeke managed to over rotate and land safely on his feet. Zeke then hit a front dropkick to Burchill's bottom which sent him flying through the ropes and down to ringside. Zeke got all pumped up and hit the ropes to build up speed, whilst Tommy Dreamer slid Burchill a steel chair. With full momentum Zeke went for a suicide dive but Burchill blasted him with the steel chair before Zeke was just at the ropes! Burchill rolled into the ring and pinned Zeke to a 3 count.
Entrant #5. Rhyno
The former Hardcore Champion made his return ever since he was knocked off by the SAW Invaders at Royal Rumble 9! Before he got into the ring, Dreamer charged at Rhyno but he got a spinebuster on the ringside floor for his troubles! Rhyno then slid into the ring, but Burchill began stomping away at him right away. Rhyno managed to fight through the pain and mount some offense to Burchill, sending him off the ropes and hitting a spine buster on the current Hardcore champion! Rhyno then set up for the Gore, as Burchill staggered to his feet, and when Burchill was in the right position, Rhyno charged. But Burchill managed to drop down and roll out of the ring, just as the Gore came whizzing past him, as Rhyno crashed headfirst into the middle turnbuckle. Burchill began to pull a table from underneath the ring apron, and slid it into ring. He set the table leaning diagonally against the opposite turnbuckle that Rhyno was currently occupying. As Burchill turned around Rhyno came charging again for another Gore, but Burchill managed to snap kick him in the face to cancel out the Gore! Burchill then lifted Rhyno over his shoulder and hooked him up for the air raid siren, and fell backwards into the table, slamming Rhyno headfirst exploding into the wood! Burchill covered Rhyno and got the 3 count, so far managing to last half way through the gauntlet.
Entrant #6. Snukka
As Snukka dashed into the ring, Burchill went on the assault right away, with hammering blows and thunderous stomps. Burchill hooked Snukka in for a suplex, but Snukka snapped out and began unloading an array of clotheslines onto Burchill. Snukka hit a Samoan Drop, which got a 2 count, then went up top for the Snukka splash. As Snukka leapt off the top rope, Burchill rolled out of harms way and Snukka crashed to the floor, before Burchill put Snukka out of his misery with a curbstomp, which got the three count win. Although looking a little out of breath, Burchill laid against the middle rope with a grin on his face, pleased at his dominating progress so far.
Entrant #7. Buff Bagwell
The former world champion came sprinting down to ringside, and hit a flying dropkick through the ropes hitting Burchill in the side of the jaw, as Buff landed on the ring apron. Buff then climbed the top rope, and waited for Burchill to stagger around. When the time was right, Buff flew into the ring hitting a cross body block onto the current Hardcore Champion, getting a 2 count pinfall attempt. Buff kept the high energy offense going, with an atomic drop being followed with a hurricanrana that also lead into a 2-count pin attempt. Buff then hit the ropes for a charging attack, but Burchill caught his leg with a drop toe hold, tripping Buff facefirst into the shards of table that had been previously used against Rhyno. Burchill pinned Buff to a 3-count, as Buff began to bleed from the forehead.
Entrant #8. Crash Holly
Crash came charging down to the ring screaming all sorts, and as he got to ringside, Burchill threw Buff's lifeless body over the top rope and onto Crash, squashing him in one motion! Crash managed to roll Buff off, and as Crash got up he was met with a flying plancha from Burchill, knocking him back down to the ground. Burchill got out a steel chair and swung like a madman, but Crashed ducked it, and rolled Burchill up with a schoolboy pin, to get a pinfall count of 2! Burchill kicked out, and knocked Crash out with a hard lariat to the floor, before he pinned him ringside for a 3-count
Entrant #9. Sabu
The high flying daredevil, Sabu, made his entrance with a steel chair in hand, so Burchill picked up the steel chair he'd recently aquired too, as both combatants were now armed as they inched closer to one another. Burchill roared and swung for Sabu, who blocked the chairshot with his chair. Burchill then swung the chair low towards Sabu's feet, but Sabu jumped up to avoid the contact, much to Burchill's dismay. Sabu then raised his chair in the air, so Burchill raised his up to block the incoming headshot, but it was all a ploy, as Sabu then kicked Burchill in the leg, as his guard was open. Burchill dropped the chair in agony, so Sabu threw the chair directly into Burchill's face, knocking him down and out. Sabu pinned him, but got a count of 2 only. Sabu then pulled out a table from under the ringskirt, and set it up next to the ring. He laid Burchill across the table, and put a steel chair over Burchill's face, while Sabu climbed onto the ring apron with a steel chair in his hand. Sabu positioned the chair behind his backside, to reinforce his legdrop with a steel chair, but this left an opening as Burchill took the chair from over his face, and threw it into Sabu's face, a payback shot from earlier. Burchill then climbed onto the apron, and lifted Sabu across his shoulder for the air ride siren, which he hit from off the apron and crashing down into the table below. Burchill pinned Sabu over the shards of broken table for the 3-count, in what may have been his toughest challenge yet. That is until...
Entrant #10. Kurt Angle
The returning Kurt Angle, who has not been seen since the SAW Invaders made their debut at Royal Rumble and demolished Angle, is now back with a vengeance. He storms into the ring and unloads furious fists to Burchill, knocking him all around the ring. Burchill staggers like a drunken monkey to the ropes, as Kurt then clotheslines him over the ropes and out of the ring. Kurt Angle roars much to the delight of the fired up RBW fans, before hitting a diving plancha, squashing Burchill at ringside. An intense Kurt slams Burchill harshly into the guard rails, and then bounces the hardcore champion's head off the ring apron. Kurt then hits a snap suplex to the ringside floor, which gets a 2 count pinfall.
Kurt rolls Burchill back into the ring, then throws a steel chair into the ring aswell, before climbing on the apron and up to the top rope. Suddenly Mean Monkey scampers up onto the ring apron and swipes for Kurt, but the olympic gold medalist punts Monkey in the face and he falls to the floor. While Kurt regains his footing ontop of the ropes, Burchill sneakily collects the steel chair, and as Kurt comes off the ropes for a crossbody attack, Burchill stabs him in the gut, in mid-air, with the steel chair! Burchill puns Kurt but Kurt kicks out after a 2 count. Burchill then sets up Kurt for a curbstomp, to finish the match once and for all, but Kurt pulls Burchill by his arm down to the ground beside him, then quickly shuffles around into an ankle lock! Angle screams 'TAP! TAAAAP!' as Burchill is having an agonizing fit, trying so hard not to tap out, despite the painful hold!
Burchill rolls forward and the momentum sends Kurt hurling headfirst into the middle turnbuckle, and as he staggers back Burchill hooks him up for an air-raid siren, which connects when Kurt is dunked on his head and Burchill pins him, a the referee counts but Kurt kicks out just before a 3-count!!
Burchill roars in anger, and grabs the steel chair, while he waits for Angle to get up. As Angle staggers to his feet, Burchill swings a nasty chair swipe, but Kurt ducks and the chair hits the top rope, then rebounds and smacks Burchill in the head with his own chair attack! Kurt then capitalizes, as he hits and Angle Slam on Burchill! Kurt covers him for the pin, and as the referee is counting for the three, the pin is broken up just in time, by Tommy Dreamer, saving Burchill from defeat and keeping the match alive. But not for long, as Dreamer goes to end Kurt with a superkick, but Kurt catches it and trips Tommy down with an ankle lock!! Kurt's intensity is evident as Tommy is almost in tears from the pressure of the lock, when all of a sudden Burchill blasts Kurt Angle in the back of the skull with the hardcore championship title belt, then rolls Kurt up, holding the tights for extra leverage, as the referee counts the pinfall to a 3-count!
Bucky: OH my word, I can't believe it! Somehow, Burchill has retained the hardcore championship!
Kevin: Despite the fact that he's blatantly cheated more or less all the way through, the fact is that he managed to overcome all the opponents in this gauntlet
Bucky: The SAW Invaders have made their presence known even further tonight, even with Kurt Angle being the last entry these guys still managed to overcome the odds
Kevin: Well, Kurt had the match won with that Angle Slam, if Tommy Dreamer hadn't broken up the pin. Not to mention all the other times he and Mean Monkey assisted Burchill to victory
Bucky: Whether we like it or not, the SAW Invaders are here to stay, and they've taken over the hardcore division with intent!
Kevin: Nobody is safe now, if these guys keep going on like this, the whole of RBW could be in serious danger!
Bucky: Well as long as they destroy the Undertaker and his Morticians then that's good enough for me!
Backstage: Jeff Hardy is backstage warming up for his RBW title shot, when Shane & Stephanie McMahon approach him. "Hey Jeff, I appreciate you saving me from the Underaker on our last show, thought I was a goner for sure," explained Shane, to which Jeff replies "No worries man, Undertaker is totally out of control. I've seen what he's done to your father, and I know if he's not stopped, all of RBW will be at his mercy..." until Stephanie interupts saying "Jeff, you have to beat Undertaker tonight! There is no way out of this if he wins, losing is NOT an option. IF he retains the RBW Title tonight, in the main event of WrestleMania, the biggest event in our history, then it will put him on the top of RBW and he may never be stopped!" Stephanie began to sob, as Shane comforts her. "Jeff, I know you can beat Undertaker. You've done it in the past, and you'll be able to do it tonight, the whole company is depending on you," Shane states, before leaving the room, while Jeff nods to that notion.
Kevin: Very serious business at hand here!
Bucky: No Kidding, not only is this the biggest main event in WrestleMania history, but it's probably the most important match in RBW history! If Undertaker is victorious tonight, then RBW is doomed!
Kevin: It's not a scenario I'd like to think about, but it's
a very serious and possible one. We can only hope and pray that Jeff Hardy is at the top of his game
Bucky: He'd better be, this is such a BIG deal here, I'm trembling at the thought of this!
Kevin: I know how you feel, but we do have a show to get back to, and speaking of shows and big deals, the Big Show is set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship right now, against the former champ, Chip Hazard
Bucky: I just can't bare the though of Undertaker running RBW, nowhere will be safe, I'll have to...
Kevin: We're talking about the World Heavyweight Championship! I know there's a horrible situation ahead of us, but right now is not the time! Be a professional
Bucky: World Heavyweight Championship...
Kevin: Yes! After a year plus reign as World Champion, Chip Hazard lost the gold to Big Show at the Royal Rumble event just gone by, but now the rematch of all rematches is here! Two of the biggest and baddest heavyweights of all time are about to smash it up!
Bucky: And it's very personal too! Big Show and his fellow Krystal Maze team mate, Charlie Haas, have been on a rampage over the last couple years. They even ended the career of Kane for crying out loud!
Kevin: I know, such a brutal moment! But in a strange karmatic way, Krystal Maze's third member, Steve Austin, also had his career put to rest by Chip Hazard, which is why Big Show has such a personal vendetta with the man, and this championship clash will truly be the end of the war between these two mammoths right here, right now!
(( World Heavyweight Championship ))
Big Show .vs. Chip Hazard
The match begun with both heavyweights swinging for each other, with Chip Hazard getting the upper hand. Hazard battered Big Show into the corner, before going for a running charge but was booted in the snout by the Big Show. Chip staggered to the ropes and Show smashed into him with a big lariat, sending both giants over the ropes and crashing to the ground ringside! As they picked themselves back up they began to brawl again, fighting all around ringside, ending with Big Show grabbing Chip for a chokeslam, but Chip sidestepped and sent Show crashing into the steel steps. Chip then rolled into the ring, hit the ropes and hit a diving roll-over plancha flip, smacking down on the Big Show.
The action lead back in the ring, as Chip dragged Show to the corner and sat him against the bottom turnbuckle pad. Chip charged and unleashed a cannonball sentom attack, but Show rolled out of the way and Chip landed hard in the empty corner, jarring the back of his neck! Big Show got his breath back and capitalized with some hard elbow drops, and a lengthy beatdown around the ring, mostly stomping and choking Chip as much as he could to keep him grounded. Big Show hit the ropes and followed with a big splash, but Chip rolled away and Show splattered on the canvas, knocking the wind out of him. The referee began the 10-count as both men were down, but they both managed to get up around eight, as Show swung a furious fist but Chip ducked and retaliated with a stiff clothesline, but Show only wobbled. Chip went for another, but Show still wouldn't go down. Chip hit the ropes for a third, but Show swung his own clothesline, which Chip ducked, and as Show turned around to follow Chip, he was met with a stiff clothesline that decked him to the floor! Show crawled to the corner to use the ropes for support, but Chip charged at him and sandwhiched Show into the bottom corner with a heavy cannonball attack! Hazard pinned the champ, but only got a 2 count. Chip then called for the end, as he hooked Big Show for the dragon suplex, but Show ran backwards and squashed Chip into the corner. Chip gasped for air before Big Show grasped his throat and connect with a heavy Chokeslam! Big Show pinned Chip, only to get a two and a half count! Big Show looked mad that he hadn't won the match, so he got up and shook his fist, waiting for Chip to get up so he could wallop him. As Chip regained his footing, Big Show unleashed a furious fist, but Chip ducked under the attack and rebounded off the ropes, and as Big Show turned around Chip Hazard hit a mighty spear on Big Show! As Show fell back his arm knocked over the Referee upon the impact! Suddenly Charlie Haas then ran down with a steel chair, and blasts Hazard in the skull, and after all his strenght manages to drag Big Show over Chip for a pin. As Haas approached the referee, a scholding explosion of flames errupted from the entrance stage, as Haas and Big Show's arch nemesis has returned: Kane marches down the rampway, and as Haas charges at him with a steel chair, Kane boots it into his face! Kane then slides into the ring, and chokeslams Big Show to kingdom come, before shaking the referee and leavng the scene. The referee begins to stir, unbeknownst to any of the run-ins, and sees Chip Hazard slowly plonk his arm over Big Show. The referee recognizes it as a pin and he counts to three, as Chip Hazard retains his World Heavyweight Championship Title.
Bucky: With over a year on the sidelines, Kane has returned and has wreaked vengeance on Krystal Maze!
Kevin: I guess you could say Kane has rectified his past! After a World Heavyweight Championship fued between Kane and the Krystal Maze, it was Big Show who injured Kane with the iron shots to the head before locking him into the casket! One of the most brutal and visually disturbing things I've ever had to watch...
Bucky: But now Kane has returned, and he's wrecked Big Show's dreams of being World Heavyweight Champion!
Kevin: An eye for an eye, indeed!
Bucky: I've noticed Kane has returned with his old mask back on! Do you think those iron shots left permanent damage and scars?
Kevin: I wouldn't be suprised, but I think it's more so to protect his head, as I heard he got brain damage from those repeated iron shots to the head!
Bucky: Gosh, it's so horrible to think about, but at least Kane has exacted his revenge
Kevin: And on a similar note, a score will finally be settled in our next match of the evening, two of the biggest rivals in RBW history will face off for the chance to become the #1 Contender to the RBW Championship.
Bucky: Both John Morrison and Batista are former RBW Champions who have been trying to see who is the best everytime they face off in the ring!
Kevin: And throughout all their championship clashes, there's always been some speculation or controversial ending, and it's debatable who really is the better of the two
Bucky: But now they're going to compete in a match to determine who is the better of the two, and the winner will become the #1 Contender to challenge for the RBW Championship Title!
Kevin: Besides the main event, this for me personally, is the most important and interesting match on the show, all the pride and reputations of both men are at stake, and after the match is done we will truly know who is the better man
Bucky: This is tense, I've got goosebumps!
(( No 1. Contender's match))
Morrison .vs. Batista
As the bell rings and the match begins, Morrison and Batista , both in opposite corners, engage in a staredown from across the ring. The whole arena is full of excitement, tension and electricity as both wrestlers are huge crowd favourites. They slowly begin to circle around the ring until they inch closer and closer, eventually locking up with force. A power struggle is underway as Batista forces Morrison back into the corner, but Morrison switches the momentum around, so Batista does the same, and the momentum shifts back and forth as they struggle around the ropes, into the corners, then back into the ropes until the force of Batista forces Morrison to slip under the top rope so the ref counts for a clean rope break. Obeying the rules, Batista backs off and allows Morrison to get back into the ring before the lock up once again. This time Batista shoves Morrison flying backwards hard into the corner, then charges at him with a clothesline. Morrison ducks the incoming corner attack, as Batista hits an empty corner, before Morrison begins to unload roundhouse kicks to Batista's gut. Batista catches the 4th kick and spins him around 360 degrees, before decking him with a clothesline. Batista roars and hooks Morrison up for the brain buster right away, but Morrison slips off and dropkicks Batista in the back, and sends him flying through the ropes and out of the ring. As Batista lands on the floor, he quickly gets back to his feet, but in a split second Morrison comes flying over the top rope with a rolling sentom plancha, knocking Batista back down to the floor again. The action continues as Morrison picks Batista up, but Batista rams Morrison backwards, spine first into the ring apron, the rolls John into the ring. Batista re-enters the ring and misses a big elbow drop, as Morrison rolls out of harms way. Morrison and Batista regain their footing as Morrison goes for a dropkick but Batista catches both legs and catapaults him into the turnbuckle. Morrison lands feet first onto the middle turnbuckle like a scene from spiderman! A puzzled Batista charges at his opponent but Morrison knocks him down with a moonsault from the middle turnbuckle, which gets a one-and-a-half pinfall count. As Batista gets up to his feet, Morrison jumps onto the middle rope and rebounds with a flying chuck kick, but Batista lariats him in mid air before the kick can even reach him. This gets a two count for Batista, who follows up with some elbow drops and a big powerslam. After another kick out from a pinfall attempt, Batista decides it's time for a Batista bomb, and hooks Morrison up for it. As Batista lifts Morrison up, the move is quickly countered by a hurricanrana by Morrison, who always clutches a pinfall attempt gaining a two count. Batista gets up and throws a fierce lariat, but Morrison ducks, and as Batista turns around he is met with a sharp enziguri kick to the head, followed by the moonlight drive! Morrison pins Batista, but a kickout is made just before the referee counts to three! Morrison then drags Batista nearer to the corner, as he climbs the turnbuckles and unleashes the 'starship pain' corkscrew moonsault, but Batista raises his knees and Morrison's jaw meets them with hard velocity! Batista quickly gets up and hooks Morrison up for the Brain Buster, but Morrison slides off down the back and jumps onto the ropes. As Batista turns around Morrison springs off the ropes, and unleashes a flying chuck kick, but Batista catches him in mid air like a crossbody hold, and hooks his left arm around Morrison's head. With his right arm, Batista lifts Morrison upside down into the air vertically. "Braaaaaaaain Bustaaaaaaaaah!" roars Batista, just before a huge black boot crashes into the back of his head. Batista drops Morrison down, as he stumbles to one knee, after being booted in the head by Kane! Kane then grabs Batista upside down and spikes him with a tombstone piledriver! Kane looks down at Morrison who is lifeless, but decides to pick him up anyway, a delivers a huge chokeslam! Kane then makes hand gestures around his waist, indicating he wants a championship belt, as he leaves the broken combatants in the ring, with neither one of them having won the number one contender status.
Bucky: What the hell has happened?
Kevin: Why did Kane just do that?
Bucky: We saw him return earlier to exact revenge on the Big Show, which I can totally understand... but what was his motivation for this?
Kevin: I can only take a guess here, and assume that he wants to regain what he once had... the World Heavyweight Title!
Bucky: So he goes and attacks the number one contenders?
Kevin: Think about it, Kane made sure nobody walked out that match the winner, which means nobody won the number one contender spot. So that means it's still up for grabs
Bucky: Oh! So that means Kane has now thrown himself in the mix?
Kevin: Exactly! He came back from a career threatening injury, got his revenge on Big Show and now he's wanting to get back the World Title that he once held!
Bucky: Makes sense to me! I bet all that time he was away with that injury, it must have really ate him up inside! That's motivation enough to do what he did, plus the fact that he's always been a psycho!
Kevin: Be that as it may, Kane is back with a vengeance, and I can see alot of Backlash coming from this situation!
Bucky: Morrison and Batista won't like this, payback is gonna be a big, bad bitch!
Kevin: Watch your language, this is a family show!
Bucky: It's a bit violent for a family show isn't it?
Kevin: Hey, I don't make the rules buddy, I just report them! But as we stroll on, we're at our penultimate WrestleMania match, and this one has double Championship stakes on the line!
Bucky: Oh yeah! It's Sting and Jillian Hall, taking on their rivals Alex Shelley and Ariel!
Kevin: And the latter team, Alex and Ariel, are both the X-Division and Women's champion, respectivley
Bucky: Ironic that you say respectively, as those two don't know the meaning of the word!
Kevin: You can say that again! Alex Shelley is such a cocky prick! I really hope Sting teaches him a lesson tonight, he's been after that weasle for ages now! And as for the dark princess Ariel, well, we need all the titles taken away from the Undertaker's darkside as we can, so let's hope Sting and Jillian knock these undeserving champions off their throne!
Bucky: I couldn't have said it better myself! Good luck to Sting and Jilly, May the best team win!
Kevin: I'm sure Sting and Jillian will
Bucky: A bit biased aren't we?
Kevin: I think we have a right to our opinions, Alex and Ariel are morally corrupt in their own rights, it'd be a shame for them to win, they just don't deserve it
Bucky: I do agree with you there, 100%, actually. I'm sure the right people will win, but let's see what happens...
((X-Division Champion & Women's Championship))
Alex Shelley & Ariel .vs. Sting and Jillian Hall
The match begun with bitter rivals, Sting and Shelley in the ring. They circled around the ring, with Alex trying to avoid the inevitable, until he stopped, spat in Sting's face and quickly tagged in Ariel. The dark Princess entered the ring and slapped Sting across the face! Sting errupeted with a raging howl before he tagged in Jillian, who rushed into the ring and a catfight errupted with Ariel! The referee eventually managed to pull them apart and sternly cautioned Jillian and then Ariel, and while his attention was on Ariel, Alex Shelley reached over the top rope and slapped Jillian in the back of the head! A disgusted Sting hopped off the ring apron and stormed across the ringside area towards Alex Shelley's corner so Alex hops off the apron and begins to run away from Sting, while Ariel takes advantage of the slap as she hits a neckbreaker on Jillian. Sting is still chasing Alex Shelley as they sprting around the ringside area, as Ariel pins Jillian, but only to a two count. Ariel then hooks Jillian up for the double underhook implant buster, but Jillian reverses with a nothern lights suplex, complete with a bridge to pin Ariel, but the Women's champion kicks out after two. Jillian then goes up to the top rope for the 450 splash, but Alex Shelley leaps onto the apron and shoves her off, sending her crashing into the ring. Alex Shelley turns around and Sting is behind him on the apron. A petrified Shelley goes for a desperate sucker punch but Sting blocks it, and clotheslines Alex over the top rope and into the ring. String enters the ring and locks Alex Shelley in the scorpian deathlock, to which Alex Shelley begins to tap to, but neither of them are legally tagged in, so the decision doesn not count! Suddenly Ariel breaks the hold when he slaps Sting right in the chops, to which Sting points his finger at her, telling her to "Get out of the ring!" Ariel goes for another slap, but this time Sting catches it, grabbing her by the wrist, then Jillian Hall tackles her down to the floor, as they begin a catfight! The referee tries to pull the horny divas apart, as Alex Shelley sneaks up from behind and low blows Sting! Alex then chucks him out of the ring, then runs over the boots Jillian in the head! Alex Shelley picks her up and hits a Motor City Flatliner, as the referee screams for him to get out of the ring, warning him with a 5 count! Alex flees the ring with a smirk on his face, as Ariel licks her wounds while she crawls over to pin Jillian Hall to a 3 count. By the foulest methods one could imagine, Alex Shelley has successfully defended his X-Division Championship, whilst Ariel has also done so with the Women's Championship still in her grasp.
Kevin: Oh come on! What was that?
Bucky: It's dirty, sly and nasty at it's most crudest, that's what it is.
Kevin:What a complete prick! I can't believe Alex Shelley's actions!
Bucky:Complete disrespect to a women and the legendary Sting
Kevin:And I thought René Dupree treated women horribly! Alex Shelley is even worse
Bucky: So after years of hunting down Alex Shelley for payback, Sting is still unsuccessful. And what makes it worse is that it was a cheap victory.
Kevin: Not only is that heartbreakingly true, but Ariel, the Dark Princess retains her Women's title aswell. This means that so far all of the Undertaker's Morticians have retained their gold at WrestleMania 9, and the power over RBW is still trapped in their dark, sadistic grasp!
Bucky: And the Main Event of WrestleMania is coming up next, where the ultimate showdown will take place. This match will decide the fate of RBW forever
Kevin: It surely is the biggest and most important match in RBW History for sure. The RBW Champion Undertaker, holding RBW hostage with his evil reign of terror, defends the gold against our last hope, and that man is the Royal Rumble 9 Winner, Jeff Hardy!
Bucky: And how fitting is it that Jeff is the one to step up to the Undertaker to save RBW? I mean, these two have had possibly the biggest rivalry in RBW history, dating back all the way from RBW's inception in 2001
Kevin: That's right, in late 2001 Undertaker was champion and no one could beat him. Jeff Hardy lost to UnderTaker numerous times so eventually decided to attack him with a sledge hammer! Undertaker was out injured for over a year and when he finally came back he destroyed Jeff.
Bucky: I remember that, he threw Jeff Hardy through a window and Jeff was out of action for almost a year due to the attack! Even back at Wrestlemania 5, in 2005, Undertaker lost a burried alive match to Mordecai because Jeff Hardy returned and cost 'Taker the match. These guys have been at each other's throats for the best part of a decade!
Kevin: Considering all their battles, they probably know each other like nobody else does, so out of anyone to be facing each other for the RBW Title in the main event of WrestleMania, these two are the biggest opponents you could match up!
Bucky: It's going to take their very best to put their opponent down, this will be a flat out war!
Kevin: And most importantly of all, both the RBW Championship and the future of RBW hangs in the balance, this one is truly going to be historic...
(( RBW Championship ))
Undertaker .vs. Jeff Hardy
The atmosphere is as tense as anything could be, as both Jeff and Undertaker stare each other down from corner to corner, as the arena is filled with energy favouring Jeff. The action quickly heats up as Taker swings for Jeff, but Jeff ducks and starts unloading on the Deadman. Undertaker grabs and throws Jeff into a corner, and starts laying some heavy fists into him. Undertaker creates some space before charging with a big boot, but Jeff ducks and Undertaker's leg is hung up over the ropes. Jeff hits the opposites ropes and dropkicks the deadman, knocking the rest of him over the ropes and to the ground ringside. Jeff hits a running baseball slide through the ropes, which staggers Undertaker to the guard rail, so Jeff climbs the guard rail, and runs across it towards his enemy. Jeff then leaps off with a flying clothesline but the Undertaker catches Jeff in his arms, then charges towards the steel ring steps and rams Jeff backfirst into them! Undertaker then finds a steel chair from ringside and blasts Jeff in the spine with it! Undertaker rolls a pain ridden Jeff onto the ring apron and lays the steel chair across his chest, before mounting the ring apron himself, to deliver a guilotine legdrop onto the steel chair that's on top of Jeff! He rolls Jeff into the ring for a pinfall, and gets a 2 count for his efforts. Undertaker punishes Jeff's left arm, before he sets him up for the old school rope attack. As Undertaker takes his first step to the top rope, though, Jeff pulls UnderTaker's arm and sends him flying off the top rope and crashing to the ground. This buys Jeff some time to recover, but not for long as Undertaker manages to get back up, and swings heavy big boot, but Jeff ducks it and runs to the opposite corner of the ring. As Undertaker turns around to find his opponent, Jeff Hardy leaps off the the top rope and whips around into Undertaker with a whisper in the wind attack! Jeff hits a basement dropkick which nudges Undertakr into a corner, where he then gets punted with the pendulum dropkick attack known as the Hardiac arrest by Jeff. This gets a 1 and 3/4 count from a pinfall, so Jeff quickly goes ringside to collect the steel chair from earlier. He re-enters the ring and swings for the deadman, but Undertaker boots the chair into Jeff's face! The impact of the blow sends a groggy Jeff stumbling out of the ring, aswell as the chair falling out too. Undertaker takes a moment to regain his composure, as Jeff desperatly uses the steel chair as a cructh to help him get back to his feet ringside. When Jeff is up, Undertaker hits the ropes and leaps over the top rope for a suicide dive, and as he came flying out the ring, Jeff Hardy smacked him with the steel chair mid-air!!!
The whole arena errupted with a shock and somewhat delight as the deadman had leapt into such a brutal collision. Jeff laid the lifeless Champion onto the announcers desk, and climbed back into the ring, and to the top rope. He gave his signature pose before leaping from the top of the ring all the way down to the announcer desk ridden Undertaker, and flattened him with a thunderous leg drop! Both warriors were laid out ringside, with broken table surrounding them, both riving in agony, before Jeff finally shown the first signs of life. It took him some time and alot of effort, but Jeff eventually managed to drag Undertaker back into the ring. Jeff pinned the Undertaker and was a split second away from a 3-count, but the Deadman managed to kickout just in time. Jeff Hardy signalled for the swantom, and climbed up the top to deliver the goods, but Undertaker rolled out of harms way and Jeff Swantomed nothing but the ring canvas with a thud. They both staggered back to their feet, Undertaker a little earlier, which gave him the chance to strike first and hit a nasty chokeslam! Undertaker pinned Jeff, and got a 2 and 3/4 of a pinfall count. The deadman then signalled for the end, as he lifted Jeff up for a Last Ride, but Jeff managed to counter with a hurricanrana and send Undertaker flying headfirst into the turnbuckle. Taker staggered backwards and Jeff hit a reverse twist of fate, then quickly scurried to the top rope, but the Morticians came running down and pushed Jeff off the top rope and sent him landing hard into the ring. They both enetered the ring and began stomping the life out of Jeff, before George lifted Jeff up for an electric Chair then Maven leapt off the middle rope and knocked Jeff down with a flying Rock Bottom, in time with Steele's electric chair drop! Suddenly, Jeff's older Brother, Matt Hardy, came running down to the ring and climbed to the top rope without being noticed. When the Morticians spotted Matt, it was too late as he leapt off the top and flattened them both with a missile dropkick, kicking each Mortician square in the jaw! As Matt got up he received a neck snapping chokeslam for his troubles by the Undertaker which took his head off! During all this mayehm Jeff had gotten a sledge hammer from ringside, as he now re-enters the ring, but Undertaker boots him in the face, then hits a second chokeslam to Jeff! The referee counts the pinfall, but Jeff squeezes his shoulder out a milisecond before a three count! Undertaker's eyes roll back into his head, as he signals for the end, and grabs Jeff by his hair and hooks him for a Last Ride. As Undertaker lifts Jeff up for the Last Ride, Jeff managed to grab the sledge hammer and when he's on Undertaker's shoulders he blasts the deadman with the sledge hammer shot to the skull! Undertaker crumbles and Jeff tumbles ontop of him, then quickly stumbles towards the turnbuckle, and follows up with a Swantom Bomb onto the deadman, and pins him to get the win!
Kevin: Oh my God! He's done it!
Bucky: It's not your God, Kev, it's your new RBW Champion, Jeff Hardy!
Kevin: In what was the most intense WrestleMania Main Event I've ever witnessed, we have a new RBW champion and now the power has been taken away from the darkside
Bucky: Hallelujah! Freedom has been restored here in RBW, we are all saved!
Kevin: What a moment for Jeff Hardy, I thank him for what he's done, he's a hero for dethroning such a villian!
Bucky: He's my new messiah, I'm going to be his first disciple, just you see!
Kevin: Good luck with that, Bucky, I guess
Bucky: I'm so glad, imagine how Shane and Stephanie feel, they've got their company back in good faith
Kevin: That's for sure, the power is back in the hands of justice, but this does beg one question; what will become of the Undertaker now?
Bucky: He's a broken man, Kev, he's been beaten on the biggest stage of all time, in the biggest match in our companies history with everything on the line! There's no chance he can ever get back to this level ever again, it's safe to say that his days of darkness over RBW are over!
Kevin: That's music to my ears, Bucky! Congratulations Jeff Hardy, you went through hell to win that match!
Bucky: That he did! A well deserved victory over his biggest rival of all time, and now he's finally the RBW Champion on the biggest show of all time!
Kevin: And what a show it's been folks, so monumental with so many huge moments, but this one right here has been the highlight of the show, if not the companies history!
Bucky: A new era has arrived, the darkside has been vanquished and freedom is upon us! Thankyou Jeff Hardy, what an amazing end to an amazing WrestleMania!
Kevin: And on that note, we thank you all for watching RBW WrestleMania 9 and being a part of history!
Bucky: The future is looking bright here in RBW, things can only get better from here on out!
Kevin: Until next time, RBW fans, thankyou and goodnight
