I always thought it was odd that they changed it to a Friday. I don't know the ratings but I always figured a good chunk of their target audience is busy on a Friday, whereas people rarely do stuff on a Thursday. I've seen a few people on here lament that they're busy on a Friday and can rarely catch it. So I ask you, when should it be aired? Pick any day apart from Monday (Raw obviously). I know PPVs are on Sundays but Heat was on a Sunday so I put it as an option anyway.

i picked wednesday
no to thursday to watch tna
friday no always busy same with the week end

Move it back to Thursday. You'll get more adult viewers, and it will force TNA writers to step it up! The fans win all around.
Along with changing back to Thursday, and to tie in the thread about the draft, keep the roster exclusive to that show! That way the fans are forced to watch or atleast DVR the shows. Raw gets Raw recaps, Smackdown gets Smackdown recaps!

It should just be live on Tuesdays. Yes, I realize it's a lot harder to do live TV twice a week than one live show and one taped show, but I have to imagine the ratings would increase a lot. Plus, Tuesday isn't the best day for TV anyways?

I highly doubt they would change the day it airs although if they did I'd vote Tuesday so it was live.

I say move Smackdown to Tuesday and show it live. Taped wrestling shows just don't do it for me and Friday is an awful day for me. I'm not staying home and watching a taped wrestling show, so I DVR it and usually fast forward through most of it.
I like the special live Smackdowns on Tuesday a lot better.

Live 8-10 on Thursdays. TNA vs Smackdown could lead to some great TV.

I think WWE should start going head to head with WWE. I say show SmackDown on Monday nights at 9 on SyFy!

I'd say live on Tuesday would be my first choice. Put it on Thursday and I won't even DVR it. I'll pick Impact over Raw-lite every single time. My DVR only records two shows at a time so I won't bother with Smackdown.

They do pretty good ratings for Friday night so they wouldn't change it. If they want higher ratings, give Mark Henry the title. The ratings actually did increase while he was champion. |
