Looking threw drafts, here's a few more I would change...
1985 Ricky Moore (RB Alabama) for Andre Reed (Imagine getting Jerry Rice and Andre Reed in the same draft)
1987 Terrence Flagler (RB Clemson) for Bo Jackson (RB Auburn) (Give me a combo of Roger Craig AND Bo Jackson with Rice, Reed and Taylor at WR)
1993 Todd Kelly (DE Tennessee) for Michael Strahan (DE Tx Southern)
1995 JJ Stokes (WR UCLA) for Warren Sapp (DT Miami) (Stubblefield was gone two years later, Sapp lining up beside Bryant Young would be deadly!
2004 Rashaun Woods (WR OK St) for Wes Welker (WR Texas Tech)
2005 Alex Smith (QB Utah) for Aaron Rodgers (QB Cal)
2008 Kentwan Balmer (DT UNC) for ANYBODY (seriously, Balmer was just awful)
For the most part, Ive been happy with our drafting from 2009 until now.

Easy one, Melo, Bosh, or Wade for Darko, Pistons draft 2003. Darko is easily the biggest bust in Pistons history. Four all-stars were picked immediately after him, the 3 aforementioned players and Chris Kaman. That pick makes me cringe.

1996 NBA Draft - Was: Ray Allen - Traded for Stephon Marbury #5 overall Should have been: Kobe Bryant
2006 NBA Draft - Was: Brandon Roy traded for Randy Foy #6 Overall Should have been - Rajon Rondo
2009 NBA Draft - Was - Johnny Flynn #6 overall Should have been - Stephen Curry
2010 NBA Draft - Was - Wes Johnson #4 overall Should have been - Patrick Patterson
I'm sure there are plenty of other bad choices from the Timberwolves

2004 NFL Draft
Jacksonville Jaguars 1st Round Pick (#9): Reggie Williams- WR
Should have been Ben Roethlisberger.
It was Byron Leftwich's first year starting, but picking up Roethlisberger would have been great in the long run.

For the other teams I support:
Tigers-1997 Matt Anderson, wow, this pick was not good, reliever number 1 overall was the first mistake, and he blew his arm out before being able to become a major bullpen guy. Troy Glaus and Vernon Wells would've looked nice in a Tigers uniform during the dark days of Tigers baseball, 90s till about 04/05, Glaus would've made those years at least a little better honorable mention to 1996 draftee Seth Grislenger, however that draft was only meh around the first round, but Jimmy Rollins was a stand out.
Red Wings-2001 Igor Grigorenko, our supposed future star was set back after a car accident and never recovered. Showed up in 07 out of shape for training camp and was dumped that year. Very sad, seemed like he had unlimited potential as a second rounder too, could've gotten Patrick Sharp, man would that have been nice.
Lions-3 way tie, Joey Harrington, 2002, poor Joey never stood a chance, too nice of a guy for Detroit who ripped him apart, no success, huge bust, Dwight Freeney, Roy Williams (the safety, not our wideout that wasn't the worst wide receiver pick), Ed Reed, and Bryant McKinnie were all available. Charles Rogers-2003, one of two absolute failures of a draft pick, we had Andre Johnson available, and he was picked 3rd, our scouts were obsessed with WRs and they still couldn't pick the right one, didn't help that he went to MSU either. Mike Williams-2005, the posterboy of one of the worst draft classes in NFL history. The USC wideout did nothing to help us, only hurt us. DeMarcus Ware, Shawne Merriman, and Jammal Brown were the next three picks and Derrick Johnson was picked 15th also. Honorable mention goes to 2006's Ernie Sims, was overall a half-decent player but I will always remember being at the draft party and Ford Field chanting "Fire Millen" because we didn't take Matt Leinart, who was also a bust. Now Sims was traded to Philadelphia and bounced around to the Colts before landing in Dallas.
So yeah, I could go on and on, but I won't, at least not now.

Oakland Raiders, do I really need to say Jamarcus Russell? Clearly I wouldn't want Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Darelle Revis or a number of more productive players over him.

Not sure if this counts but:
The Yankees would not have signed Mark Teixeira and allowed him to sign with the Boston Red Sox. The Yankees maintain their draft pick and draft...Mike Trout.

1984 NBA Draft (San Antonio Spurs)
Who They Got: Alvin Robertson, Arkansas
Who They Should Have Gotten: John Stockton, Gonzaga
I'm not saying Robertson was horrible or anything, but Stockton definitely could have made the Spurs a serious contender in the Western Conference. Robinson comes in 1989 with his abilities, and the Spurs, led by the two, win the Western Conference at least. The Spurs continue to contend into the mid-1990s (winning a championship in the 1994-95 season) and Stockton continues to stay with the team in hopes that they can win another title. Duncan arrives in 1997, Stockton carries the load for an injured Robinson while teaming up with Duncan, the Spurs roll to the best record in the league, and they beat the Bulls in Michael Jordan's last Finals appearance. The three become a unit the next year, build on that success and dominate together, culminating with a third championship in four years against the Knicks. Robinson and Stockton cap off two legendary careers by winning a fourth and final championship together against the Nets in 2003. Duncan takes over from that point forward.
Today, as people look back at the Spurs' success, they believe it all started with Stockton being drafted in 1984.

More than one, but I gotta do three/ All of them are for the Calgary Flames in the National Hockey League.
1990 NHL Entry Draft: Flames Select Goalie Travor Kidd at #11 overall. Should have taken Martin Brodeur, who went at #20. Why? Because we got a goalie who amounted to an above backup, instead of one of the most elite and successful goaltenders in thew history of the sport.
1997 NHL Entry Draft: Flames select Centre Daniel Tkaczuk at #6 overall. Should have taken Marian Hossa, who went at #12. Why? Because Hossa is one of the best two way forwards in the entire NHL, and has been a key contributer to teams he's played for winning two Stanley cups and also twoother finals appearances.
2004 NHL Entry Draft: Flames select Kris Chucko at #24 overall, a guy who never could skate worth a damn, and never had much offensive talent, he was literally a grinder we took with our first round pick, when we had the weakest propsect pool in the league already. Should have taken defenseman Mike Green who went5 spots later. An elite offensive defenseman who is a beast on the power play.

Being a Sixers fan, the first one to come to mind is the 93 draft:
Took Shawn Bradley
Should have taken Penny Hardaway

Indiana Pacers, 1985 Draft, had the #2 pick and selected Wayman Tisdale (great sax player, good teammate) but.....
could've had Karl Malone!! Can you imagine Malone, then getting Reggie a few years later, then Rick Smitz (if they still could've drafted that high)

Colts - John Elway (I know they drafted him, but they couldn't KEEP him) Pacers - Karl Malone in 1985 (Malone went 13th and Pacers drafted Wayman Tisdale with #2 overall pick) Cubs - Manny Ramirez in 1991 (The Cubs drafted Doug Glanville #12 and Manny went #13 to Cleveland) Blue Jackets - Claude Giroux (Blue Jackets draft Derick Brassard in 2006 and Giroux went #22 to Philly)

Seattle draft's Percy Harvin instead of Aaron Curry with their first round pick in 2009. Would have given us the dynamic wide out we wanted for awhile, and we would have saved a first round pick for this year..

With the 65th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, The San Francisco 49ers select Gio Carmazzi TOM ING BRADY!!!Im not saying we win any Super Bowls but Im not saying we wouldnt either. All I know is that guys like Ken Dorsey, Tim Rattay, Alex Smith, Cody Pickett, Trent Dilfer, Shaun Hill, Chris Weinke, J.T. O'Sullivan and Troy Smith would have never started for us. We *could* have potentially went from HOF'er Joe Montana to HOF'er Steve Young to Jeff Garcia to HOF'er Tom Brady to "sky's the limit" Colin Kaepernick Im going to go cry now. This always comes to mind. I'm not sure Brady alone could have stopped the post-03 implosion, but I highly doubt the 49ers would have suffered through the 2-win '04 season and 4-win '05 season. Those were dark times.
