While I understand many people say they dont like black trunks for figures, for a WWF attire Flair, this really is his his "Defining Moment" if I can steal a phrase. His attire at the 1992 Royal Rumble will always be what represents him in the WWF. Not only that, it would match Arn & Tully as well as the (hopeful) eventual Barry Windham figure. The only other color choice I could see them considering for his first figure would be red from WMVIII. I highly doubt he will be in green or pink as he very rarely wore those in the WWE and that's the era Im betting MDT bases the figure off of.then where is my L.O.D and camo Sgt. Slaughter? I just meant this specific Flair figure...not all Legends/FB in general.

I think it would be cool if they did the ring attire to match his Galoob figure. And maybe the light blue robe with silver sequin designs. That and the 1992 black and white feathered robe and either the Royal Rumble attire or Wrestlemania VIII attire.

Red or Purple! Since Razor got screwed they better do it right. Robe + Belt!

Id love to see him in his 86' era purple trunks and kneepads with white boots. That would be so awesome.

Now here's a thread I can sink my teeth into! Here would be my 1st preference.... We also never got this particular robe from Jakks, either... my 2nd choice... As a point-of-reference, here is my current loose Flair collection; I can't wait! My Flair shelf hasn't had any new additions in quite some time...

I don't recall a match where they all color coordinated. If it were up to me, Arn would have been in white (and fatter) and Tully would have been red. I think Barry in black is (hopefully) a given, as long as they go for his Horsemen look. And no way Flairs early WWF run is his definitive era. Mid 80s to early 90s NWA IS Flair. I'd put his later WWE run over his earlier one.

I guess this whole pole is just a big fake because Razor Ramon first had 53% of the votes and then Flair had these votes -.- FU MATTEL AND WWE.COM

The only colors I remember the Horsemen most uniformly wearing was red and I'm working on changing Arn from black to red/white anyway just so I can have some color diversity among my Horsemen.
Tully seemed to stick to red or black so I'm fine with that and Horsemen Barry largely stuck to black so that's fine and in the case I definitely don't need Flair in black.
Besides, we've got sooo many legends in red and black anyway. I'd happily take green/yellow, light blue and my preference purple/white just to break up the colors.

Mattel has seemed to make it a point to go with the WWF Era look instead of NWA/AWA etc looks because of the backlash that figures like Slaughter, Road Warriors and Vader got. I would love to have the long hair (think his CSDA) early 80s look for Flair but I can promise they'll go for an early 90s run. There's also no way that his 2001+ run is more defining then what he did from 91-93. Flair wrestled the who's who in wrestling then, in 2001 he carried around Triple H's jock and snuck Randy Orton into strip clubs. They "base color" for the Four Horsemen has always been black or red. With the exception of his Brain Busters run, Tully only ever wore Black/red. 90% of Andersons tights were black or red. He did dawn baby blue and white but it wasnt very often. For a fan base that likes to bitch about attires saying "Its not what they're iconic for" putting Arn in blue, while it would stand out, isnt iconic. Flair's main colors he wore in his 90s WWF run (again which I think they will base the figure off of) was black & red. He would dawn Purple and even his carolina blue tights from time to time but they were usually in rare occasions or against jobbers. Rarely in big matches. The same can be said for his yellow or pink attires (neither I believe he used in the WWF) were only brought out rarely in Early NWA (pink) and late WCW (yellow).

Um, any, to be honest.
I just hope it's more for his 80's NWA run than his first WWE run.

The same can be said for his yellow or pink attires (neither I believe he used in the WWF) were only brought out rarely in Early NWA (pink) and late WCW (yellow). He wrestled Savage and that was about it. Never had a big match with Hogan until WCW in 1994 and there was no one else that big to even work with. (which is all Sid's fault that we never got Flair/Hogan at Mania) In his later run he worked HHH, Angle, HBK, Foley, Rock, McMahon, Undertaker, Orton as well as several smaller feuds against some major upper-midcarders. Vader and Road Warriors didn't get that much backlash. I don't think really ever heard anything over Vader, and most of what I hear over LoD is people wanting both versions. They're popular enough for another release and I wouldn't call either their NWA days of their WWF days more important than the other. I don't think much of a case can be made that Slaughter's biggest days were when he was wearing the blue/white. If they make Goldberg, they clearly won't put him in the white shorts In the end I don't think the headscan will end up with super long hair or super short hair, but something in the middle that will satisfy both camps. Heck, just do a Survivor Series 1992 Flair. It ties Flair to his WWF run, put him in purple, and his hair was at a good in-between stage at that point. (I'm finding a LOT of instances of him wearing purple in 1992, including Summerslam) This would also be a good opportunity to make a more squat body for him and Daniel Bryan

I would like them to make at least 3 Ric Flairs in the Mattel Elite Flashback Line.
- Classic Red - Baby Blue with Blue boots - Purple with Lavender boots

Attire? You mean colour scheme, as he only had 1 attire. Hopefully they do him from when he had a terrible haircut... Oh wait that's at any point in his career. But this mushroom do is the worst:
