*spoils* Took a look at the post credit scene. I guess it's kinda cool if you're a fan, but this franchise is exactly the kind of thing you'd expect him to show up in.
I guess now they have the holy trinity of bald hollywood actors.

FALSE. Rock drops a Biblical reference, not a Chris Jericho reference. The movie was great. Some scenes seemed so far fetched it made me dislike them but it was an action film so I can let it go. I thought it was a little wack that they have never mentioned poor Lucas Black in any of these films but at the end of Fast 6 they kinda open the door for Lucas. Eh, Chris Jericho and the Bible are one. I am extremely excited to see this soon and I honestly think its just because the Rock. I already know the post credit scene and honestly I'm not a fan of the actor, but I am still psyched.

Was good but there where a lot of bits that my brain just cant help but tell me its a bit improbably to happen. The talking scenes where also really bad to me and there wasnt much focus on car racing or the cars themselves really like the earlier films, or Im remembering them wrong.
Either way for a film of stuff happening fast and blowing up it was good, for a normal film rating it was very average to me.

Opinions vary And to stay on topic I've never seen Tokyo Drift Why people see movies without seeing the previous movies I will never know I saw the first two when they originally came out but just wasn't a fan of the series. The third had no interest from me mainly because it lacked characters from the others. The fourth was on tv and I was bored so I gave it a shot and didn't think it was too bad. And then with five the Rock is my primary reason for watching. I knew what happened in Tokyo from my brothers but still have yet to actually watch it.

With the next one, yes. But not with the previous ones, other than Han. But 1,2,4,5, & 6 all happened before 3.

Seeing Tokyo would have really made 6 Better if you saw it beforehand by like a million times and Tokyo Drift gets crap on so much but it really is one of the better movies of the franchise.

Does Ludacris have a big role in this? He's my only buying point lol. He's pretty much got the same size role he's had in all the entries he's been in; he's consistently there; has a few cool things to do; has a couple of funny lines. The usual.

I think he may be in this one more than previous installments, not by much but he does get a fair amount of screen time

I laughed cause I thought to myself, had you seen Fast and the Furious 3 then that last scene would not have been a surprise at all.

Saw it last night, thought it was awesome. As someone else already mentioned, I think these movies definitely get better as they go on. The post credit scene was killer too, already psyched for 7!
Oh and I've never seen Tokyo drift either, so take it easy on the guy. I hadn't started consistently watching them since 4, and with a little background research, I understood everything that was going on in each of the films.
I do plan to watch the ones I haven't seen all the way through now just cause I'm hungry for more FF anyway I can get it now lol.

Yeah, it's unrealistic and over the top, but its forgivable since it doesn't take itself too seriously. And yes, it's not about street racing anymore, but it hasn't been since the third movie either, and that's good. You can only show cars racing so many times. This movie still had a race, but lots of other action scenes that had a nice variety (tank, plane, shoot out, one on one fight, one on two, two on two, etc)
