Villa have grabbed a bargain with Okore, he looked impressive when he played us.

They've sneaked a few under the radar. If they can keep Benteke they should be a solid mid-table side.

They should stop playing Football Manager if you ask me.
Yet more youth and hardly any experience coming in, could work either way.

Yeah, experience is the one thing they lacked last season. Very risky if you ask me.

Nicklas Helenius has just been announced as well, a 6'5 Danish striker.
4 signings and we're not even in July yet.

Someone at the PL hates Moyes. Our first 5 games are Swansea (A), Chelsea (H), Liverpool (A), Palace (H) and City (A). We could easily only have 4 or 5 points from that if he does badly. By the same token though, if we have 12+ points we'll be in the driving seat for the PL.

Pleased with our start even if 2 of our opening 3 games are away, both winnable in Southampton & Crystal Palace. Our home games minus the opener against Fulham running up to Christmas are a complete joke (Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Manchester City, Chelsea & Spurs) and will probably mean we will need to drastically improve our away form.

Difficult start (Sunderland away, Arsenal at home, Newcastle away, West Brom home and Chelsea away), but gets a lot easier. We should really pick up maximum points in October. Not pleased with the Christmas period, either; Tottenham at home, Everton away and Man City at home are all games we will lose. Can also see a huge blip in form in February and March, given we have a ridiculous set of games. Decent run-in though, so if we are in trouble, we have winnable games to get out of the situation.

A combination of being a tad too excited about the fixtures coming out, and being very bored, lead me to do the BBC Sport table predictor for next season. This is what I came up with:

Curse that last minute goal disallowed at White Hart Lane on the final day! Would love that outcome mind, love to see Lambert squirm. Twat. Don't see Manchester United getting that many points but hey-ho, Arsenal did their usual fading a way bit by being in complete control until about November/December. Only thing riding on the final day was the race for 5th between Spurs & Liverpool. The battle for 18th was finished a week earlier. A lot more fun than actually just predicting the outcome of the table and ignoring the results.

I've never done that table predictor thing. Might do it when the transfer window shuts, probably forget though Someone make a thread at the time and we can all do it and look back at the end of the season

Our first 5 fixtures aren't TOO bad, but also could prove difficult. West Ham (A), Man City (H), Everton (H), Hull City (A), Spurs (H). I feel we may be able to get 6 or 7 points from that, wouldn't be the worst return.
Our last 5 are vitally important though and I'm okay with what we have there: Southampton (A), Stoke (H), Sunderland (A), Newcastle (A), Chelsea (H).
Swansea at home on the 2nd of November and away 8th of Feb, two I'm looking forward to!

Huge gap between Liverpool and Everton Everton aren't going to be as tough as they were last season imo. Especially if they lose Fellaini & Baines, Liverpool keep on strengthening.

Another signing for Villa. Antonio Luna from Sevilla.
Happy with this, our LB position was very weak.

WHU are good at home and the other 3 should be European teams looking to start strongly.

West Ham at home Think Cardiff have the hardest start out of the 3 promoted teams but (obviously, given their champions) stand the better chance of staying up.
