We've wrapped up deals for Ben Hamer, Matthew Upson and Marc Albrighton in the last few days all on free transfers, glad to see we're getting our business done early. Do you need Upson? Albrighton is a good signing. Read that you're in for Frazier Campbell from us. At the moment we've got Wes Morgan who is our captain and has been very, very good over the last couple of years, Liam Moore who has had a great season and Marcin Wasilewski who is also getting on but he's a very capable defender. Nigel really just added experience to what we already had last year (Phillips, GTF, Wasilewski, Hammond) only Wasilewski started games regularly and I think this is just another signing along those lines. I guess it can't hurt to have someone there who has Premier League experience and he was player of the season for the side with the second best defence in the Championship so he can't be that bad. None of them jump out as being incredible signings, but that's what summers are usually like with Nigel Pearson, but the majority of his signings are usually great for us. Hopefully they'll be able to keep that up now we're stepping up to the Premier League. I think I'd be quite happy with Fraizer Campbell if it happened, especially if it's not much more than the £1M reported. What do you think of him Himmy? Any good?

Can't argue with adding experienced Premier League players mate, that's where we went wrong last season. As for Frazier? For £1M he'd be a decent signing. I like him, but he isn't really cut out for the Premier League. He missed so many sitters last season it became almost laughable, he needs a few chances to score let's put it that way. He does give you bundles of energy though and he will fight to the end, a really good quality about him. I must say if we only get £1M for him I'd be slightly disappointed, because I think he could do a very good job in the Championship but I'm just not convinced he can do it up there. For a newly promoted side though I think you need someone like him, someone that will chase all game and will get a few important goals, just don't rely on him like we did.

I like Harry so in that respect I'm fine with QPR coming up. Never really understood why they get the hate they do anyway. If you had an owner willing to invest that kind of money I sure wouldn't be complaining.

Harry annoys me because he's more focused on the attention surrounding him than managing his club, the obvious example of which was when he was touted as the next England manager and Spurs tanked. Think QPR get hate because they have a sh*tload of money and they invest it so poorly. Their wage bill is twice that of Atletico Madrid's.

Yeah but people were hating on QPR before they started signing every player under the sun. When they first came up, everyone already seemed to hate them.

Glad QPR are up in the respect that we won't have to play them next season. I felt Derby deserved it but never mind.
I wonder if QPR have learnt their lesson from last time.

Would of much preferred Derby up. Genuinely think they play some decent football, and there three behind the striker are all ballers. Would make the Prem a little more like the good old days too with Leicester going up aswell.

Gutted about Lampard. At his age I think it's pretty pointless trying to start a new adventure in America, would have love to of seen him retire at Chelsea. For me, our best ever Player without a doubt. Doesn't get the respect he deserves from many people, one of the greatest Premier League Players without a doubt.

One of the greatest PL players without a doubt. Lost a lot of respect for him when he moaned about AVB dropping him though, and still think Gerrard was/is better. Very accomplished player nonetheless.
