So it's getting closer to NBA Draft time, 25 more days, and I'm pretty excited! The home team, Pistons, have an alright position, was hoping for top 5, and am truly hoping Trey Burke falls to us. Also, Tim Hardaway has looked good. So what is everyone's thoughts on who their home team will pick and where some of your favorite college players will go to?

The Celtics have many needs they need to address, assuming Pierce and Garnett come back
Center Backup PG Getting rid of Courtney Lee or Jordan Crawford

I'm thinking that Jeff Withey from Kansas would be a nice fit for Boston, solid shot blocker, 7 footer, co-national defensive player of the year. Though he could get beat by a more physical player.

Who do you see going number 1? I honestly cant see the Magic drafting a center, it would be like the old Magic team all over again! I think they need to move on from the Dwight Howard era and transform the team a bit. Maybe they'll trade for an established player, on draft night it'll be really interesting to see who ends up going to Orlando.

I think they'll go with Ben McLemore from Kansas since they won't have the chance to take Noel due to Cleveland. Then again, there are many possible picks, but Ben seems likely for Orlando.

I'd love for Portland to trade down or out of the draft, but that seems to be the popular attitude about this years crop. This probably gonna be a Kenyon Martin 2000 kind of draft. Void of superstars, some quality role players and maybe a quasi all-star or two.

The one guy I kinda do like is Victor Oladipo. I doubt he'll ever be a great offensive player, but his defense is 1st rate. His lateral quickness and his ability to cut through screens is something every team would love to have.

I agree this is a weak class. Nerlens Noel wont be a star player in the NBA, this draft class just doesnt have what it takes to produce the next big thing. Sure some of these guys can be good starters or a guy who comes off the bench every once and a while, but theres no guy who can really take the NBA by storm. Nerlens Noel reminds me a bit of Kevin Durant, but thats not the best thing in the world. Like Kevin Durant he is overrated.

I'm really not that big of a fan of Noel, not am I a fan of many players, Oladipo could be something in the NBA, Anthony Bennett if he gets over his imjury could be good, and Trey Burke despite height concerns could be a quality player. I've heard Alex Len may go number one which I think would be terrible, Noel would be safer. All and all, nothing's a sure thing this year.

His offensive game needs a lot of work. His game is the opposite of Durant's. Regardless, a weak draft class when Noel is the consensus #1 pick. He is a project offensively, and I don't think he will be dominant defensively by any means. He has to get bigger which he will but not overnight.

Brian Shaw in as Nuggets HC. Good for him, and a great get for them. He seems like the perfect coach for that young team.

This draft is trash. Noel has too many "what ifs" and will at best be a solid role player. McLemore is the only guy I see w/ a ton of upside who could make a big impact in the league. I think Otto Porter and Trey Burke will also have higher ceilings than Noel as well.
Cavs already got Dion Waiters but he was inconsistent and I think it would be interesting if they took McLemore and moved Waiters into a 6th-man role. That or take Porter to play SF since Gee doesn't have a high ceiling. They already got Zeller and Thompson to develop and Varejao for another year so they have a decent front court that they can bolster w/ the #19 pick they also have. I just think w/ the Cavs having so much potential right now that it would be a waste to take a risky guy like Noel w/ the #1 pick. I think Alex Len also has too many "what ifs" to be a #1 as well. The guy is 7'1" and already has feet issues.

Fashion trends can be somewhat cyclical, but I'm a 100% confident that zubaz will never return in any non nostalgic way.

I've heard rumblings that Cleveland likes Alex Len, that'd be in my opinion a terrible pick, way too risky to be number 1. The last big man that had knee problems was Greg Oden and with Len already having two knee surgeries I'd be wary of him and Noel. If I were Cleveland, Otto Porter is probably the safest pick, at number 1, I don't know, but I know if Cleveland were at 3 they'd pick him in a heartbeat. McLemore is also a possibility too. I think 1-2-3 will go Noel, McLemore, Porter, but nothing is certain in this draft. As for the Pistons, I don't think Trey gets past 6, New Orleans, or 7, Sacramento, if he does then that's a huge boost at point guard since Knight is a combo guard. We also need a swing man, Bennett from UNLV and Shabazz from UCLA come to mind. All-in-all, an unpredictable draft.

We also need a swing man, Bennett from UNLV and Shabazz from UCLA come to mind. All-in-all, an unpredictable draft. No way Burke makes it past #7. Even though Sacromento has drafted some Guards the last few years they still lack a reliable floor general. Trey Burke has questions but also high upside. Sacromento isn't the best place for developing players based on the horrible chemistry there but no way they'd pass on him if he's available. Even though I think it's too risky I think Cleveland will go w/ Noel even tough they already have young prospects at the 4 and 5 spots. They seem to like him even though his offensive game is severly lacking. Orlando would be stupid to pass on Ben McLemore and will probably take him if Noel is not on the board (even if they don't end up trading Afflalo). Washington goes w/ Porter since their guard and center spots are taken up (they don't need Lin). Charlotte will most likely take Lin who will probably struggle w/ injuries his whole career and the Bobcats remain the laughing stock of the NBA. Phoenix then goes w/ Oladipo who also has some upside. Just how I think it'll go down.
