The Return of 2FW - The Press Conference
July 1st 2013
Albright: I will now be taking questions from the press.
Camera's flash as the press raise their hands looking to get their questions answered.
Press 1:Mike Matthews, NBC. What will we as the audience be expecting from the return of 2FW?
Albright: It's going to be a pure wrestling product, we're going to be very old school with the product. It's not 1980 anymore with colorful costumes and characters, it's 2013 with a new cast of athletes.
Matthews: So this means there will be no gripping storylines to keep things interesting?
Albright: Correct, this is not a sports entertainment product, these guys are athletes. You would be expecting some feuds and rivalries but nothing ridiculous as in the stealing of a wrestler's girlfriend. It's for wrestling fans by wrestling fans. Oh hey Bill Apter.
Apter: Since this is going to be a pure wrestling product, who will we be seeing perform?
Albright: That's really more of Mr. Cornette and Mr. Heyman's territory but we did sign Charlie Manson from the Mexican wrestling promotion Perros Del Mal, as well as Sami Callihan for the hardcore division. We've also signed AR Fox, Jack Evans, Samurai Del Sol, Rich Swan, and Ricochet for the Aerial Assault/Light Heavyweight Division. For the heavyweight division we've signed Davey Richards, for the rest of the roster there is no change.
Press 2:John Davis, CNN. Besides Charlie Manson, what other foreign athletes will we see?
Albright:We've come to terms with the following promotions for talent trading and showcasing; All Japan Pro wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Big Japan Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Noah, and Dragon Gate Wrestling all from Japan. Triple A, CMLL, DTU, Perros Del Mal, and NGX from Mexico, West-side Xtreme Wrestling, from Germnay and we're looking to strike a deal with Fight Club Pro in Ireland.
The wrestling fans in attendance applaud as the press flash their camera's and look to get answers for more questions
Albright: At this time I would like to turn the questions over to co-booker James Mark Cornette, who will also be answering on behalf of Mr. Heyman since the questions might apply to him as well.
The wrestling fans applaud as Albright steps down from the Podium and Cornette steps up
Cornette: Good evening as you heard before my name is James Mark Cornette, I am the co-booker and Producer of 2FW, I will now be answering questions from the press.
Press 3: Sara Forhetz, ABC Affiliate Missiouri. If a 2FW wrestler goes to a foreign country to wrestle, will that match be shown?
Cornette: Yes, wrestler's tours in foreign country's as well as the promotions tours will be broadcasted here as well. For example we could do a show with dragon gate in Tokyo and it will be on display here in the states.
Albright comes up to the podium
Albright: we will now open questions to everyone on the panel
the press flash the cameras again and again as a person stands up
Press 4: Jake Patterson, ABC, for the Showtime representative, what is the scheduled time for 2FW?
Representative 1: Every Wednesday at 9 PM.
The press gets out of control and unfortunately, the conference is shut down
