Excited to see what Brad can do, but I wish that they brought back Johnny Laurinaitis! People Power!

Personally, I'd rather see him as a wrestler, who actually has real matches, not just him getting squashed. But anything that involves Brad Maddox getting a push, I'm happy with.
Look what being GM did for AJ!

im down.
Maddox's over-the-top-awkward character grew on me, and the very limited time he's had "exposed" on TV has been fun, nowhere to go but up for the kid. Hopefully this is fun.

I have a hard time suspending my disbelief that Maddox has real power when this is just a display position. Even though Vickie was so-so as Managing Supervisor, it's not like she did anything that a person can glare at and want her fired for. And we all know she'll come back. I don't know, Vickie being fired has just soured me on the whole GM concept.

I'm indifferent. These days the GM role doesn't mean much. Hopefully the entertain me with it though.

Nuh huh OP, I'M the biggest Maddox fan!
But seriously, I was punching the air when this happened. The way the camera panned towards him, and that look of 'I think I might puke' that slowly took over his face. Absolutely brilliant. He is genuinely the most funny guy on the roster, and I'm hoping this means we get to see more of him.
Obviously he is clearly a puppet and will play the role of pawn in this McMahon vs. HHH game of chess. I don't expect him to last long whatsoever. But hey, if it gets us more Maddox, I'm down. I hope he can develop into a bigger character once he's done with this. Maybe like, I don't know, he could wrestle since he's a wrestler and all.

Why not? It doesn't look like they were going to build him up as a legit in ring talent anytime soon. Brad Maddox is very deceptive, really hard to tell at times if the awkwardness is unintentional or played. I also think he could be a red herring for someone else being announced by Triple H next week, then someone else by Vince the week after that, though the CEO/COO hierarchy is confusing at this point.
The entire Vickie evaluation segment on Monday was gold, when I was expecting it to be a complete disaster. After being a relative non factor in the GM role for months, Vickie was killing it with her balance of cheese/genuine emotion. I think that would've been a great way to send her WWE character into the sunset, but it looks like they left the door open with the Ryback thing.

I like Maddox, so I'm definitely pleased about this. Should be funny if nothing else.

The more I think about it, I can see Vickie being rybacks manager. It would bring him A LOT of heat without him doing his generic heel promos. It could work.
