We're coming up to Mattel's 5th year with WWE soon (...how time flies...!) - do you think they'll completely redesign the packaging again, or just tweak it a bit? The first year was the black packaging, which they tweaked slightly for 2011; then in 2012 they went with the completely new white packaging... and tweaked it for the 2013/current figures.
So, going by past evidence, they might come out with a brand new design for 2014 (and hopefully onwards!)... would you rather see new packaging, or stay with this white/current look?

New packaging for sure, starting to get bored of this design. However if I'm honest I doubt a lot of the loose collectors on here don't really care about the packaging because they just throw it away.

I much prefer the new white packaging over the black packaging, from memory wasnt the most significant package change from the black to white done for cost cutting? As a moc collector I don't mind the tweaking of packaging, but I would prefer they remain mostly the same...

I think it will look mostly the same. Just it will keep getting smaller probably.

I'd love to see blue packaging, though since that's Smackdown's color I doubt they'll go that direction. Maybe white with red and blue accents?

It was to make them stand out in toy aisles more. I'm fond of the white packaging myself, the black looked way too "late '90s" for me. |

This current packaging for basics is definitely me least favourite of the 3 past ones, I'm not keen on the colour of the elites either. I hope we get an overhaul on the packaging come the end of the year.

The only thing about the packaging I would like different is the Elite packaging. There have been a few times I've went to the store and saw that someone took the accessories out or they completely swapped figures. Just something that can't be so easily manipulated.

I personally like the packaging... I don't really know what else to do about the package to change it. Unless they change the whole shape. Not much to do if they want to save money. I would also like for them to put the series back on the packaging.

I'd be fine if they wanted to minimalize the packaging even more. After seeing the new Star Wars Black figures, I somewhat miss the old Deluxe/Elite boxes.  Elite figures would look killer with the black matte look. |

I think the current packaging was a huge upgrade. It would be nice to see them update it a little more. I'd even be happy to see them shrink the size of the Elite packaging even more.
Definitely a cost cutter going from the black based design to the white one, but I wouldn't mind seeing them do something a little different with it. Gotta switch it up a little bit man
