I've enjoyed both songs, of course yes they are completely different from what they've done but I'm really liking it so far. Will easily pick it up when it comes out.

They put their full album on Youtube. You can listen here. Besides the two already released singles, they have phenomenal songs such as Nicotine, Girls/Girls/Boys, Casual Affair and Collar Full. The other songs are very good as well. Miss Jackson was my favorite Panic! song but it no longer is. Casual Affair is now my favorite. What a song. What an album.

Welp, I gotta say I'm extremely disappointed. Collar Full is the only one I care to listen to, nothing else catches my ear and sound the same.

It's definitely different from their past albums but I think each album is different from the previous one.

It honestly disgusts me that people click on the thread simply to condescend others. Thought we had better users then that on these boards.
Either way, I enjoyed their first two records, but I was extremely surprised by Vices & Virtues. Easily my favorite album from them thus far. I've only heard Ms. Jackson (Amazing) as I'm trying to hold off listening to the rest until the album comes out. Can't wait.

Found a leak and downloaded. I'll be buying it to show my support when it drops in a few days, I just wanted to hear it now.
I'll say the album is good. It's not great, but it's good and I like it. 'Nicotine' is easily my favorite, I love it when Brendon gets extremely melodic like he does in that track. 'This Is Gospel' is good, too, I like that one quite a bit. 'Miss Jackson' is pretty good, it's extremely radio, though, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. 'Girls/Girls/Boys' reminds me SO much of Melody Club, a fantastic band from overseas. If you haven't heard of them, I'll post a video.
I'd go 7.0, that's "Good" on the IGN scale, which is what my friends and I have adopted for everything.
I am pleased that they're getting attention with this album, much more than they got for V&V, which was pretty good in it's own right.
This is 'Baby' by Melody Club. A number of tracks on this new Panic! album have a very Melody Club flavor to them in my opinion.

I'm a HUGE Panic! fan. I think I got into them because of this forum actually, sean I think had a sig with them in it, before I Write Sins Not Tragedies blew up, I had a listen and they're probably my favourite band, and I have no shame in saying that. Which is why it's so hard for me to say this - I don't think I like the new album on first listen.
After Miss Jackson I expected an album to sound like FOB's latest. This is Gospel I adored, and thought it was another evolution of their sound. And it is in a way. You can see them keeping the electro thread (and with every album since they left you hear how much influence Ryan & Jon had on Pretty Odd) that started in AFYCSO, then there was a mish-mash of the 2 albums in V&V but this is so different, it's jarring. Brendon's voice is still fantastic, but I wanted my epic theatrical songs, which get you involved where as this album feels more like they're showing us what they want us to see, if any of that rambling makes sense?
I won't give up on it, and there are a few songs I enjoy (Nicotine, Vegas Lights, Casual Affair) but this was probably my #1 anticipated release of the year, and I'm not loving it as much as I thought I would.

Hang in there. I haven't listened to the new album yet, just Miss Jackson (which I love) but I experienced something very similar about a month ago. I'm a big Avenged Sevenfold fan. Shadows' voice is incredible. Anyways upon hearing "Hail To The King", I wasn't blown away. I actually came across as a little disappointed if I'm being honest with you. But after a few more listens, it continued to grow on me. It is now at the point where it is my favorite album from them. I get that A7X are different then Panic! At The Disco, but all I'm trying to get at is, I feel like if you're a big fan like you mentioned, I feel like the album will grow on you.

I wish this band hadn't turned into a pop venture for Brendon Urie, their first two records were pretty fun and despite getting lumped in with FOB, MCR, and Paramore they totally stood out. This doesn't have that same feel to me besides his voice. I agree. It feels like his self-involved douchebaggery has taken over whatever music he's putting out. Literally just sounds like he's heard FOB's new stuff and decided that was the route for the ex-pop-punkers to go. But in saying that, I will make some time to listen through the album and keep a somewhat open mind.

Panic! is my favorite band so of course I was eagerly waiting for the new album as well. I loved Miss Jackson the first time I heard it. I was iffy on This is Gospel when I first heard it but after hearing it more I have changed my tune (no pun intended) and really like it.
The End of All Things is the only song on the album I'm still not feeling like I am the others. It's good but it just doesn't pop like the others.
The only thing I'm disappointed in is that it isn't longer. This is their shortest album at thirty two and a half minutes.

After listening to the album a few times, The End Of All Things is one of the tracks that stands out to me the most. I love it. It's different from the entire album, but in a good way. Great finish to the album. The song means a lot to Urie to, as I read he wrote it as a "confessional" to his wife. After a few listens, my favorite tracks are "This Is Gospel", "Miss Jackson", "Nicotine", and "The End Of All Things".
