I think they should create a subscription app for Roku players like TNA On Demand.
But so far I'm happy with Classics on Demand, so as long as the Network is on the shelf, classics is still airing.

The problem is its WWE Only and WWE will run out of shows, etc. If it was ALL wrestling it would be a completely different thing but for some reason Pro Wrestling fears competition so much they wont even work under the same channel, its ridiculous honestly. No ther sport does that kind of crap. Imagine if a sports league refused to be on ESPN because of that. The WWE owns the entire tape libraries to several defunct promotions, not just their own stuff. Literally THOUSANDS of hours of potential content. Pair that with original content that they would create for it... basically running out of shows ain't happening.

They could also show their terrible WWE Films and show documentaries now and then and even show classic episodes of Monday Night Nitro or Thunder. Heck they can even do a WWE superstars version of Cribs

Second, on top of Raw, Smackdown, and PPVs, they own the old ECW, WCW, and WWF footage to play old shows. I don't think running out of content would be possible.

Really WWE doesnt like to think it is in its own little world? Please do tell! WWE the ONLY wrestling company. WWE makes the BEST video games. etc etc. Its obnoxious and truely something I can't stand about WWE. They want to be accepted into the mainstream of entertainment but to do that they should open themselves up and not be this weird secret society among themselves.

The idea's for the network are all there. If it happens I believe it really can change the business but it's a hard sell. Wrestling isn't as popular as it use to be. I believe it will happen but I don't think it's gonna happen as soon as they want it to. I do believe it'll end up happening though.
WWE is obviously testing it with shows like NXT, Total Divas, PPV Pre Shows, PPV Post Shows, and a number of other things they are doing. I believe they are trying to make wrestling feel more like a sport and while the ideas are all there, the pieces need to fall into place, which they haven't yet.

I never said that, of course they don't recognize other promotions. Your original comment was that they fear competition, but who do they have to compete with? Do you honestly think TNA can truly compete with WWE?

I'll try watching Total Divas. The network isn't happening anytime soon, but Total Divas might help it become a reality if it shows that substantial audiences are interested in WWE characters outside the ring.

WWE lives in its own little bubble and it wants its fans to as well. But no, nothing can compete. TNA back when on its Wednesday PPV days was the only thing that could have come remotely close if they had stuck with that formula.

when it does happen, my tv will be tuned to it all the time. I would love to see older shows from NWA, AWA, ECW, Smokey mountain the list goes on and on and on. I could watch wrestling ever second of every day.
