A recap of previous events aired before the opening video leading up to tonight's event. The newest taped opening airs right after featuring all of the three rope wrestling superstars. The live camera showed a quick pyrotechnics display before showing the live audience in attendance. Meanwhile Jim Ross and Chris Jericho greeted everyone!
Jim Ross- Hello everybody, and welcome to three rope wrestling Prime! I'm Jim Ross alongside Chris Jericho, and William Regal What a Pay Per View we have in store for you this evening! Tonight 3RW will cross the line and face off with RBW Champion vs Champion! This match was going to be cancelled but WFN network president Kevin Nash said in a recent press conference it was going to happen and Mr. McMahon could not stop it under any circumstances!
Chris Jericho- Well that's not all we have for you tonight!. We have the final rounds in the European four corners match! What a match those will be! Once the victors emerge they will face off with one another tomorrow night on Prime in the main event to crown the undisputed number one contender for the European Championship! Speaking of European, Mr. Regal you should be an expert in that department! What does it take to not only win this tournament but to go on to face Triple H for the European Championship?
William Regal- Well it will not be a easy victory and whoever emerges better keep their head on straight because Triple H is a force to be reckon with. Not only have I squared off in the ring with him but he defeated you Jericho at Wrestlemania years back to capture the Undisputed Championship! Triple H will not allow anyone to take any forum of title away from him in an easy manner! Especially a belt he holds so close and dear do you know he was the third person to ever hold it? the first of course being Davey Boy Smith. He "defeated" and I quote, Shawn Micheal's while the victory wasn't a challenging one, a victory is a victory I suppose.
Jim Ross- Well as always, it's time to go to the ring to our opening contest. Tonight's opening bout will be the "Winners" match in the European four corners tournament. Now how this works fans is, these four men will compete in a traditional fatal four way match. The winner determined by pin fall, count out, or submission will advance. He will face the winner of the "losers" match. These two men will square off in a singles match on Prime tomorrow night to decide the new number one contender. Lets go to the ring where the participants are standing by!
European 4 corners Tournament Finals.
Rick Martel Vs. Randy Orton Vs. Big Show Vs. Wade Barrett
Rick Martel Vs. Randy Orton Vs. Big Show Vs. Wade Barrett
The match was one sided in the opening minutes. The three individuals worked together to remove Big Show from the ring. Randy Orton tried to incapacitate him by a DDT through the middle rope after the others clothes lined him over on to the apron. The team work would end just as soon as Big Show was laid out on the outside. Rick Martel began to try to over power Randy Orton and take the momentum away. However Wade Barrett intervened and three battled it out to until Randy Orton was the last one standing. Randy Orton knew the Big Show was going to intervene again and make his presence felt. Randy caught Rick Martel with a RKO after slamming Barrett down with the quick power slam. He slithered out of the ring quickly trying to capture The Big Show off guard at ringside. However Big Show was aware and he caught Orton with a right fist knocking him over the announce table! The Big Show climbed back in the ring and caught both Martel and Barrett by the throat. However those two were able to push him off. Wade Barrett was able to catch Big Show with the Bull Hammer! Big Show wasn't phased by it though and stumbled back to his feet. Wade Barrett was shocked and at that point had no idea what to do to put him down on the mat. Wade Barrett scrambled around before shoving Rick Martel in Big Shows way to keep his distance. Big Show choke slammed Rick Martel and the force of it caused him to bounce and roll under the bottom rope. Big Show was set on Barrett. Wade climbed to the top rope and Big Show tossed him off! Randy Orton rolled in behind Big Show and swung his arms to the side and shook his head begging Big Show to turn around! Big Show then turned and Randy Orton caught him with a hellish RKO! Randy went straight for the cover getting the victory! Winner: Randy Orton
Before the announcers could analyze Randy Orton's victory a viscous brawl broke out backstage. The cameras rushed backstage to find Randy Savage tossing Brian Pillman around like a rag doll through out the catering services. Randy muttered several inappropriate phrases before tossing him through the door out into the hall way. Randy Savage shoved off security and jumped on him pounding away on his forehead as he yelled. "How dare you! Put your hands on her!" Ms. Elizabeth rushed up to the scene trying to remove Randy Savage as more security and referees intervened.
Jim Ross: Well if you are just joining us fans, Randy Savage has brutally attacked Brian Pillman who was suppose to be in our next contest. Brian Pillman put his hands on Ms. Elizabeth during our world tour. We won't show you that footage due to the graphic nature of it. He slapped Ms. Elizabeth right across her face. We here at 3RW don't condone actions like that. He was fined 10,000 dollars but Randy Savage isn't happy with just a fine! Those two men beat the living hell out of one another during the final night of the tour! In what was the most bloody and brutal match I've seen in quite sometime! I thought it was over when Savage defeated Pillman but I guess not!
William Regal: Randy Savage is a mad man with no reasoning! One match isn't enough, he will not stop until Pillman is either injured or worse for that matter! Brian Pillman had no business putting his grubby hands on the lovely Ms. Elizabeth. She had no control over the out come of the match that started this brutal series of battles between these two.
Chris Jericho: You say that like either one of them feels pain! Those two don't know the meaning of the word pain. Hell I doubt either one of them could even spell it much less feel it! These two will not stop until someone is seriously injured and I've got my money on Brian Pillman! Randy Savage is a beast but Brian Pillman is a damn lunatic with a uncontrollable urge to inflict pain! He is out to inflict not only physical pain but emotional pain like we have seen here in the past few weeks! Don't you think he knows what he is doing? He chose to slap Elizabeth, he knew Savage would come after him. It's a trap I'm telling you!
European 4 corners Tournament Finals.
Sheamus Vs.Brian Pillman Vs. Booker T Vs. Rey Mysterio
Sheamus Vs.
These three men moved around the ring slowly trying to figure each other out. Finally Sheamus rushed into Booker T knocking him back into the corner. Sheamus plumbed Booker T with those large rights and lefts. He stepped back about to knock Booker T over the top rope until Rey Mysterio rushed in with a lucha libre type move spinning around Sheamus. Sheamus dazed by it was caught with a head scissors and was sent flying down to the mat. Rey then set his sights on Booker T and those two would tie up with one another and Booker T was able to out wrestle the quickest man in the match in the matter of minutes. Booker T seemed to have Rey's number and knew when to reverse him. Rey tried each of his signature moves but Booker T reversed them. He caught him with a back kick and then a spine buster. But before he could finish him Sheamus hit the shoulder block off the top rope taking Booker T down. Sheamus capitalized on Booker T's near victory and Bro kicked Rey Mysterio nearly out of his shoes! Sheamus went for the cover and stole the victory! Winner: Sheamus!
Jim Ross: Sheamus just stole the match! Booker T had it won! Sheamus didn't even do anything! He laid in wait until he had an opportunity to take the victory! This new attitude he has had in recent weeks has really changed my opinion on him. First he walked out of the ring after a five star match with the Rock without shaking the Rock's hand. He then did not do anything to help Ms. Elizabeth when Pillman slapped her and he just stood at Ringside and watched! Now he steals a victory and acts like he did everything in the match and earned it by beating those two! Disciple!
William Regal: I don't mean to play devils advocate here but Sheamus knows what he is doing. He went from a new comer to World Champion within three months of his debut. You may not like the man but he always has a plan and certainly knows his way around in the ring! However I will agree with you his actions of late have not been very nice. I think we are seeing the true Sheamus right now though I never bought the smiles and the laughs and the "I'm the good Irishmen fella" thing. It just felt out of place. Sheamus is a warrior and a brutal opponent in the ring and I think he realizes he doesn't need anything but skill to get where he wants to go.
Chris Jericho: Well I think he should worry less about victory's and worry more about appearance. He desperately needs a tan I don't see how superstars can wrestle him. He disappears when he hits the mat! But enough about that jabroni! It's time for the tag team championship match! I got a feeling JR that Hulk Hogan and Ric Flairs days are numbered as Tag Team Champions! I think Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes have there number!
3RW Tag Team Championship Match
Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan Vs. Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes
Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan Vs. Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes
Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan came to the ring first welcomed with a huge reaction from the audience in attendance! Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes came out to the ring together. These two men seemed to finally be on the same page with one another. However once they arrived to the ring they refused to get in. The referee tired to reason with them and get them in the ring but they refused! Hulk Hogan turned his back to Flair and yelled for them to get in the ring. Ric Flair took the tag team championship off and before handing it to the referee he hit Hulk Hogan right in the back with knocking him down to the mat. The fans in attendance were shocked along with the color commentator team. The referee jumped and took the belt from Ric Flair asking him "what he was thinking!" Ric Flair then began stomping his tag team partner! The referee just stood in confusion and didn't know what to do. He just rang the bell and tried to plead with Ric Flair once again to stop.
Once Flair was finished stomping him he pulled him in the middle of the ring and allowed Cody Rhodes to pin him. The referee hesitated to count but did it anyway and Cody Rhodes jumped up after the three celebrating with Dolph Ziggler as he brought the tag titles in handing Cody his. Ric Flair stood there looking at them as he smirked and joined in the celebration hugging the both of them. Ric Flair took the microphone to address the audience in attendance. Winners: Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes
Ric Flair: huh? what? Ha Ha! That's right daddy! It was all apart of the plan! I orchestrated the whole damn thing! WOOO! I tricked every damn one of you! Go ahead and cry! Go ahead and boo because this is the future right here! This is the rebirth of the Four Horsemen! "Ric Flair tossed the microphone on Hulk Hogan before leaving the ring with them"
Jim Ross: What?! What in the hell did we just witness? Ric Flair.. I'm just in shock. I really thought he put this twenty year fued behind him! Instead he just stabbed a man he should respect after all they have been through! But he doesn't! He just not only cost him the tag titles! But if Hulk Hogan is injured and can't compete later tonight! He could of cost him his entire come back! I just don't believe this! Ric Flair could have just destroyed Hulk Hogan within the matter of minutes!
Chris Jericho: Unbelievable! I am just speechless!
William Regal: I knew Ric Flair was a terrible person! I knew this wasn't genuine! He finally showed his true colors! That is just..appalling! It's just sicking that he not only tricked Hulk Hogan into trusting him but he planned this whole thing! This was a set up to basically just hand Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler the tag team titles!
Kevin Nash's theme interrupted them and he came out to the ring dressed in a suit. He took the microphone and waited for the audience to settle. He walked around the ring before leaning over the top rope.
Kevin Nash: Well first I'd like to thank you for the warm welcome. Now I'm going to get down to business because we all know time is money. Tomorrow I'm going to interview all the applicants for the board of directors positions. I will announce on Prime who the new board of directors are for Three Rope Wrestling. Now considering I am the new WFN network president for sports entertainment. I'm also going to make the following changes to tonight and tomorrow nights programming. Since Hulk Hogan was attacked by Ric Flair and his lackeys. I've decided to change the fatal four way match that was suppose to happen later tonight. Instead of that match we will have three singles matches. Tomorrow night on Prime, Hulk Hogan will face Brodus Clay in a one on one match. Up next Bret Hart will face Ryback The winners of those matches will face each other at a later date. Now tonight..
Vince McMahon's theme interrupted Kevin Nash. Mr. McMahon stormed down to the ring with a microphone in hand. He climbed in the ring and stepped up to Kevin Nash.
Vince McMahon: Wait just a damn minute! I don't care what title you have above your name! Your not going to come out here and change anything! You are nothing more than a network representative! I am your damn boss you got that? Just so you understand going forward from this day on. I own Three Rope Wrestling! I own the WWE! The WWE holds all of the funding, the rights, everything for this company not you pal! So how about you get out of my ring so I can have my match!
Kevin Nash: Your company? Sure the WWE may belong to you, this may be a brand of under the WWE umbrella. But hate to tell you, WFN now owns 50% of 3RW! You should of taught daddy's little girl to read a just a little bit better! Because when she signed on the dotted line for a prime time slot on WFN programming, she signed away 50% of the 3RW franchise to WFN! Which means I can do whatever I want considering I'm the new president for sports entertainment programming! So since you came out here and interrupted me and demand you have your match right now then I think I'll let you have it. Oh but by the way, I think I will add a stipulation that will benefit you and the rest of viewers watching at home. If you lose tonight you can never ever return to 3RW! Oh and I guess before I go I will go ahead and tell you. While Stephanie McMahon is entertaining and everything. She just isn't what WFN is looking for in a General Manger. So in other words SHE IS FIRED! Oh and Vinnie Good luck in your match tonight.
Kevin Nash left the ring with Mr. McMahon standing there speechless with a far away look in his eyes.
Jim Ross: You know I'm not sure what direction this brand is going but I hate to say it McMahon has a point. I mean through out all of this Vince McMahon has brought this small independent company up from nothing to becoming one of the major brands under the WWE umbrella. I'm not sure how I feel about this whole WFN deal. Granted it's only 50% but whats stopping them from taking over the entire brand? Whats stopping Kevin Nash from doing the same or hell even worse than what McMahon has done in previous months? I don't know about you but as hard as it is to say my loyalty's are with Mr. McMahon and the WWE.
Chris Jericho: Wait? after all you have been through with Vince McMahon! You are going to sit here and take up for him? Just so I'm clear on this you believe he is right? That He owns Three Rope Wrestling as a whole? Jim, you should know this is a good thing! Kevin Nash might not be perfect but he is better than this lunatic running rampant through a company he doesn't know what to do with! Look at the past Ross, the man is a maniacal ego manic with drive to destroy anything he did not create! Do you think he really cares about this place? The only reason he even allowed WWE to purchase the company was because it was the closest thing to competition that WWE had at the time. Granted it was bush league but still 3RW had potential which he saw and immediately scooped up and took credit for!
William Regal: Wait just one moment the both of you! Now I think we are getting off the beaten path here! Jim Ross is only saying when it comes down to it his loyalty's lye's with the WWE. I understand but we are not here to discuss company matters we are here to color commentate now if you wouldn't mind I would like to get back to the program. Mankind has made his entrance and it appears Mr. McMahon still isn't focused after this unexpected news he just received from our new "WFN President of Sports Entertainment" Kevin Nash!
Jim Ross: You know what? to hell with this! To hell with the both of your opinions! You two are going to sit here and tell me you are alright with a unknown deep pocket network coming into what we! The WWE have created! I've sat here since the debut broadcast and I watch this brand grow, yes brand not company! This stands under the WWE's umbrella it's just another broadcast on WWE television. Don't tell me what to say or do! I'll do whats right, and that is stand up for what I believe in damn it! You can have this, and you two can sit here and commentate on the beginning of the end of Three Rope Wrestling but I'm not. I'm out of here!
Jim Ross stormed off and went backstage leaving Chris Jericho and William Regal at the announce desk to call the rest of the broadcast on there own. A quick video recap played while the two of them composed themselves.
Mankind & Vince McMahon Vs. Kane & Rob Van Dam
This match was sheer brutality from beginning to end Rob Van Dam's return sent shivers down both Mankind and Vince McMahon's spines. Rob Van Dam was simply amazing through out the match he used his hardcore tactics to take out Mankind. Meanwhile Kane used his brute force to toss around Mr. McMahon like a rag doll. Once the match had gone for 15 minutes the referee begged Kane to pin Mr. McMahon after giving him a beating of his life and tossing him through every object at ringside. Kane refused and sent McMahon off the ring apron with a choke slam through the announce desk. Rob Van Dam climbed a giant 3RW sign that was coming from the stage and put Mankind through two tables with the five star frog splash. The referee just rang the bell considering Mankind and Vince McMahon were out. Kane refused the ending to be so "simple" He choke slammed the referee and the EMT's trying to assist Mr. McMahon! He grabbed the bloody and battered Mr. McMahon up by the throat and choke slammed him on to the floor in front of this giant 3RW sign. He stormed over pushing camera men and staff out of the way as he started to push on the support! Before he could turn it over on Mr. McMahon "Katie Vick" and Paul Bearer emerged. Winner: Kane and Rob Van Dam by KO.
Kane startled by seeing them he rushed over and shoved his farther to the side. He reached over pulling the hood off of Katie Vick to reveal..... Stephine McMahon! She laughed screaming at Kane it was all lies and it was all one giant ruse! Kane fell to a knee in shock. The bloody Mr. McMahon rolled over with a huge grin on his face and flipped Kane off. This infuriated the monster even more. He stood up grabbing Stephine by the throat. He choke slammed her, then his farther, Rob Van Dam rushed over to stop him, Kane choke slammed him for his troubles. Kane went back to the sign and pushed it over on the down Mr. McMahon! The sign fell on him and sparked as the crowed chanted "Holy ------" Kane climbed on the ruble of the sign and looked through it to see the broken and unconscious Mr. McMahon!
Kane left and stepped over everyone he destroyed. In a daze of he just limped through the gorilla position and went out the first exit he could find. The cameras tried to follow him but he just disappeared into the night.
Backstage
Brian Pillman and Davey Boy Smith were at it again! They jumped Ryback on his way to the ring. Ryback fought back for the first few minutes but after Davey Boy cracked him across the back with a steel chair Pillman plumbed him into the concrete. Brian Pillman walked off camera as Davey Boy yelled at him for something. The Sliver Car that ran down John Cena reappeared! It was about to run down Ryback and John Cena rushed in pulling Brian Pillman out of the car and laid into him with right closed fists. Bret Hart rushed up grabbing Davey Boy by the collar before letting him go and clocking John Cena from behind with a double axe handle. All three men then jumped John Cena and stomped him leaving him laying. Bret Hart smiled as he climbed into the car with Davey Boy and Brian Pillman and back up speeding off out of the arena leaving John Cena laid out once again.
[The Main Event
3RW's Steve Austin Vs. RBW's Jeff Hardy
Steve Austin came out first and told Triple H to go back to the locker room. He climbed in the ring and stripped off his vest handing over his belt. He stood in the center of the ring awaiting the arrival of Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy didn't wait for his entrance he just rushed the ring tossing the belt aside. Both men exchanged hands and both men took down one another but neither man wanted to let their respective company down. Steve Austin and Jeff Hardy put on the match of the year and near fall after near fall left the crowd on the edge of their seat. Finally in the final moments of the match both men double clothes lined each other. It appeared both men covered one another and the referee counted it! But afterwords he did not know who to reward the match to! Steve Austin rolled out of the ring holding up his hand and the 3RW referee decided and rolled out holding up his hand. Meanwhile a RBW referee came down to dispute the decision and held up Jeff Hardy's hand! The two referees then got into a argument before officials stepped in breaking it up. Steve Austin just flipped Jeff Hardy off and walked away. Jeff Hardy stood in the ring just unsure of what took place Winner:
Chris Jericho and William Regal recapped the ending of the match and closed the program just as confused as everyone else!
