I just dont see how kids are meant to have this stuff? First off this stuff cant really be amied at collectors cause its not to scale and has play features. So if its geared to kids then why the price point?
I wanted to buy that colossal crash thing but that was like 50 bucks again for another ring and some extras

The problem isn't that it's too much, money... It's that we've already seen it with the TLC.

ok so I have yet to buy a mattel playset, I have the basic rings but I didnt not buy the raw arena TLC HEll in the Cell (99.99) Cage stretcher match (christmass thing) so I thought about getting the MITB but at 64 dollars I mean really is that for real? I mean its just a basic ring with a way to hang a case? I think the price point is out of control and the fact that "if you dont buy it now or you will never see it again" makes matters worse. As if it makes the retail price seem "fair" cause this thing is gonna go up to 200 dollars online. its already 99.99 on ebay right now. to further the issue since its a TRU exclusive its never go on clearence and if it does it will be at 60.99 dollars hardly a better buy. what is the logic behind the these price points? even as a parent I cant justify these sets. I would rather buy my children TRU true heroes where for 50 dollars you get huge planes or ships far more product for less money. Even the new gi joe tomahawk is more product for under 50 dollars I cant imagine how much the back stage set is gonna cost Tell me about it! I can see that going in the 200s |

I picked mine up last weekend for only $64. My only problem is that it dose not fit on an elite scale ring. And yes it comes with the ring. Looks great as a display piece.

The Raw stage is so so much better than this tiny ass MITB playset and that was only 50 bucks. This set shouldn't be more than 35 retail. Ill wait til its in Biglots

The playlets have gotten super expensive lately. But my problem has been the outlandish pricing of the Elite and BOPPV figures lately.
I have had to take a break from collecting since my pocket cant afford some of the prices of these figs, then I definitely cant afford them for the scalper prices on Ebay or Ringside. I understand its a business, but greed has overtaken their business strategy a bit in my personal opinion.
