I also wish they'd make an ESR version of this. Looks awesome, but if I'm being honest- it's impossible to mess around/play with your figures in these ridiculous 12" square rings, let alone attempting to animate something, as I've done. I can't possibly imagine anyone but a 5 year old having small enough hands to have a fun little match in that tiny ring with a cage surrounding it!
I understand that Mattel will not entertain the idea of re-releasing another Elite Scale Ring, which doesn't make much sense to me- they should take a look at what a mint-in-box ESR goes for on Amazon or eBay ($500+!) and see that clearly the market is there, but in the LEAST, stop it with this re-releasing the 12" square seven or eight different ways every year. It is simply too small. WAY too small. That doesn't mean there needs to be a new ESR 22" ring, though- just make it a little bigger!
A sixteen inch square. That's all I'm asking for. I'd buy that in a heartbeat... along with this cage that looks absolutely awesome. Great detail, and I like the break-away feature. Would make for an awesome cage match in a 16" ring, that's for sure...

Kids will love this steel cage accessory thats for sure which is basically Mattel's primary target for this item. Its not for us adult collectors.

The cage is making me want to buy a ring just to display figures and I promised myself I'd never display figures in a ring. Damn! That's so nice!

Just how tall does it overall work out to be once it's on the ring.
I'm thinking about buying it, but I only have a certain height space on the shelf.
What is the height from the bottom of the ring, to the top of the cage.
Cheers for anyone that can help
