yeah all the Marvel stuff got released in Ireland & the U.K.I snapped them all up...Avengers from 99 too.I often have them on in the background(DC Timmverse stuff as well)
Spider Man & His Amazing Friends and Hulk from the 80s got releases as well.....awesome f*ckin sauce too.I was always hopeful the cancelled pilot Pryde Of the X-Men would be included as an extra on one of the X releases.....but alas it wasn't to be.
looking back now....the huge restrictions Fox placed on Spidey were weird compared to how hands off they were on X-Men.
one of my fave episodes of any animated series has to be the Spider Man episode featuring Lizard(pilot?)also loved the excellent job they did on the symbiote story.

I enjoyed all the Marvel toons from back in the 90's & still do to this day. The Cheesy Fantastic Four intro tune was / is awesome, LOL. It goes 90's Spider-Man for me, then Spectacular Spider-Man. 90's X-Men & then Wolverine & The X-Men. Absolutely hated X-Men Evolution, could not get into that at all & personally, found it dreadful. And how Wolverine & The X-Men only got one season is beyond me, it was the closest thing to being as good as the original X toon after that Evolution abomination. And the Age of Apocalypse concept arts for characters & stuff looked awesome & dialogues / scripts looked great which you can find on the Save the Wolverine & The X-Men Page on Facebook. Yeah, 90's Spider-Man & 90's X-Men got full season boxed set releases here in the U.K. For any of you in the States or elsewhere that have Multi Regional DVD Players you could always get them from here, shipping should be relatively cheap I think..... www.clearvision.co.uk/marvelWolverine and The X-Men suffered from the Disney buyout. It was a good show and I think it only needed one Season. They finished their story arc and it was fine.

I wasn't ever a huge fan of the old Spidey show but my kids really like the newer Ultimate Spiderman that's on Disney XD now.

It's weird that Clark Gregg can do the voice of Coulson on that show but that the characters can't be in the same movies. I know all of the licensing stuff with movies vs. TV is complicated but it still throws me off.

I know all of the licensing stuff with movies vs. TV is complicated but it still throws me off. It's because Sony only owns the movie rights to Spidey, nothing else. But, Marvel owns everything else, like cartoons. They also own the Avengers for cartoons, movies, etc. That's why cartoons can cross, movies can't.

The animation for this show along with X-Men was atrocious. The storytelling was good, but the rest was painful.

I don't understand why the US hasn't had a complete series release of this on DVD yet. They've had numerous opportunities to release it, to hype the new movies or whatever, but they've released a few episodes on DVD here and there. But it's all good, I just watch it on Netflix.
My fave stories from the show were the symbiote ones (back then I was a huge fan of Venom and Carnage and pretty much played Maximum Carnage on SNES everyday) and the crossover episodes of X-Men.

It only needed one season for what they covered, but they were going into the Age of Apocalypse story for Season 2, something I was looking forward to seeing their take on. Concept art & some of the artwork for it was brilliant. Huge waste that none of it end up getting to be used.

The animation for this show along with X-Men was atrocious. The storytelling was good, but the rest was painful. Really?! I thought the animation was fine for the 90's. I'd take the 90's Spider-Man & X-Men animation over the likes of the CGI animation they currently use today for the likes of TMNT & Beware The Batman. I like the animation of Ultimate Spider-Man, I just hate how the rest of the team are teens as well as Peter & that it's extremely kid friendly / orientated, sometimes the jokes are just plain awful & dreadful. :/

My brother really likes Spectacular but the animation is just too goofy for me to like it. There's a fairly substantial petition for the new "Ultimate" Spiderman to get cancelled.

I don't think that's the issue, it's universally hated.
