February 27th, 2012 | Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon
- After the signature WWE opening video, a video package is shown of Triple H’s return and attack on WWE Champion CM Punk last week.
- Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler promote tonight’s show as one of the biggest episodes of Raw in recent memory. CM Punk has promised to address what happened last week, The Undertaker will answer Chris Jericho’s challenge and the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley is in the building! Plus, the United States Champion, Zack Ryder, has promised to call out Kane! All of this and more tonight on Raw!
- The theme of Mick Foley blasts over the speakers as he made his way down to the ring to a big ovation from the WWE Universe. Foley gets in the ring to chants of “Foley!” He gets a microphone and says that when he told everyone that he was coming to Raw it was going to be to say hi to the great fans, right here, in Portland, Oregon! However, it was also to announce that he was getting ready to write a new children’s book and was looking to see if any of the WWE Superstars wanted to be a part of it. Then he found out about Dolph Ziggler’s tweet where he stated that he was going to confront him. Mick seemed like he was going to call out Dolph, but was beaten to the punch by Vickie Guerrero’s shrieking “EXCUSE ME”. They walk down to the ring as Vickie berates Mick. Once they get in the ring, Dolph takes the microphone and says that a few weeks ago; they met face to face in this ring. He plays footage of it to remind the fans before saying that Foley then entered the Royal Rumble and eliminated him. We see footage of this as well before Dolph says that Mick cost him a chance to go to the main event of WrestleMania. He says that ever since the Royal Rumble all he can think about is how Mick Foley is so jealous and bitter that Dolph Ziggler is far superior than he’s ever been in his wildest dreams, that he would cost him his dream. Foley admits that his emotions got the best of him that night when he eliminated Ziggler after already being eliminated. Dolph Ziggler wants him to publicly apologize and admit that he’s superior as an athlete, wrestler and as a man. Foley says he will not do that. Ziggler gets mad and slaps Foley across his face. Mick says that this isn’t the first time that a young Superstar has disrespected him but he’s not here to wrestle. Ziggler says that’s good because he doesn’t want to wrestle either. He wants to fight Mick so he takes another swing but Mick blocks it and begins to level him. Foley sends him reeling and clotheslines him to the outside. He does the signature “bang bang” taunt as the crowd goes nuts. Ziggler shouts that this isn’t over as he heads up the ramp.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Non-Title Match: United States Champion Zack Ryder def. Camacho w/ Hunico >> This was a solid match as Ryder was clearly interested in showing the WWE Universe that he can handle an opponent who is bigger than him. Camacho is no Kane, but the idea was good. Ryder had to fight through the power disadvantage but managed to put down the big man with a Rough Ryder.
- After the match, Zack Ryder grabbed a microphone and demanded that Kane come out right now and face him like a man. He didn’t have to wait long as fire blasted off and the Big Red Machine walked down to the ring. While he did this, Ryder got a steel chair. As Kane got in the ring, Ryder said that he didn’t appreciate being a pawn in some mind game that he was playing with John Cena. If Kane thinks that he can attack him and have nothing come of it, he has another thing coming. Ryder says that he wants a match with Kane. Kane says that Zack Ryder must have a death wish if he dares to challenge the Devil’s Favorite Demon. Ryder says he doesn’t care about any stupid nicknames or any of Kane’s mind games; all he wants to do is get revenge. He wants it so bad that he will even put his United States Title on the line. Kane laughs and says that Ryder is on. Ryder points at the WrestleMania XXVIII sign and says they can officially do this on that night, however, that doesn’t mean he can’t get some right now. Ryder drops the microphone and charges at Kane with the steel chair. Kane stops him by grabbing him by the throat. He lifts Ryder up for the Chokeslam, but Ryder still has the chair in hand and levels Kane. After Kane drops him, Ryder hits him twice more in the back until Kane rolls out of the ring. Things are very personal between these two and it looks like we’ve got a new match for WrestleMania!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning to Raw, we see an advertisement announcing that The Rock will be making his return next week on Raw in Boston, Massachusetts, which as we all know is near John Cena’s hometown.
- We are then taken to John Laurinaitis’ office when John Cena enters saying they he’d like a match tonight to stay ready for The Rock at WrestleMania. Laurinaitis says that he’s glad to hear that because he actually booked him in a match tonight. He knows that Cena never got to finish his match with Chris Jericho but he’ll get a chance tonight as he will team with Randy Orton to take on Jericho and the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan! Cena likes this as he heads out.
- The Usos def. The Prime Time Players >> WWE Tag Team Champions, AirBoom, were on commentary during this match as the division continues to heat up. The newest addition, the Prime Time Players, have made an impact and they defeated International Airstrike on Smackdown before brawling with The Usos. Tonight, they got to step into the ring with The Usos and got about ten minutes, which was surprising. It was a very good tag team contest and in the end, a big top rope splash from Jimmy earned a victory for the Usos.
- The bell sounds and the Usos begin to celebrate their victory as AirBoom mention that they it looks like the Prime Time Players couldn’t back up their big talk.
- The next inductee into the 2012 Hall of Fame class is set to be announced. First we get a recap of 11 time World Champion “The Rated R Superstar” Edge, 7 time Women’s Champion Trish Stratus and 2 time WWE Champion Yokozuna being the first three inductees. Joining them will be a man who won 4 Tag Team Titles, 2 Intercontinental Titles, a European Title, a King of the Ring and of course, two Slammy Awards! The late, great Owen Hart will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for this week’s Smackdown is shown, focusing on Wade Barrett standing tall over World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton last week before turning attention to the already announced match between Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and “Captain Charisma” Christian!
- The arena is shown and static is heard as the WWE Champion CM Punk comes to the ring to the biggest ovation of the night so far. He gets in the ring and puts the WWE Title on the ground. He grabs a microphone as the crowd chants “CM Punk” continuously. Once that dies down, he begins to speak and he says one name…Triple H. He reminds us that last week the Chief Operating Officer of the WWE, Triple H, returned after his match and decided to talk him into boredom before nailing him with a cheap shot. CM Punk is never one to say something bad about cheap shots but he hopes there’s a better reason for Triple H’s than “CM Punk was mean to me when I was in charge.” This brings out The Game as Triple H comes down and gets into the ring. He smirks and says that CM Punk is a funny man. Last year, CM Punk was a constant thorn in his side when he was “rebelling” against the WWE and making asinine demands. He made personal jabs at him and overall, was an overrated pain in the ass who still thinks he’s better than he is. Triple H was driven to make some mistakes as COO and he was taken away from Raw for a while. He’s had to work for months to get back into good status with the Board of Directors but he hasn’t forgotten about Punk. Punk says that it probably was a stupid move to attack the company’s Champion when he’s in good graces with the Board of Directors. Triple H again smirks and says that he’s actually requested for his COO position to be suspended for a bit while he handles something named CM Punk. He is here to prove to the world that CM Punk is far from the “best in the world” and show that nobody messes with the King of Kings. CM Punk is now the one to smirk and says that all Triple H had to do was ask because he’d love nothing more than to beat some sense into Vince McMahon’s “doofus” son-in-law. Triple H says that before he suspended his rule as COO, he just so happened to make a match for next week’s Raw, where CM Punk will defend his WWE Title against him. Punk says that’s just what he wanted before Triple H tells him that not only will he not make it to WrestleMania as WWE Champion, but he won’t make it to WrestleMania at all.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A recap of the huge news that we just heard it shown as next week’s Raw will not only feature the return of The Rock but a blockbuster WWE Title match between CM Punk and Triple H!
- John Laurinaitis is in the ring when we return as he’s here to introduce his final roster for Team Laurinaitis at WrestleMania XXVIII. We already know of David Otunga, Alberto Del Rio and Drew McIntyre but it’s time to meet the final three. These three men will face three members of Team Long in a six man tag right now. The first new member comes out and it’s The Miz flanked by Mason Ryan! Things get real serious when Brodus Clay comes out next as this team is starting to get very scary. The final member shows up and it’s the former World Champion Mark Henry! Laurinaitis loves his team and it clearly shows.
- Suddenly, Teddy Long’s music hits as the Smackdown General Manager comes to the stage. He says that he has a surprise for the WWE Universe as he has completed his team as well. His first three members were Booker T, Sheamus and Ted Dibiase. The three that he announces tonight will face Laurinaitis’ three in the six man tag. First out is Santino Marella to a huge pop from the crowd and he’s followed by R-Truth and The Miz clearly doesn’t like that. The final member is none other than The Big Show! The WWE Universe explodes for that as we head to the match.
- Six Man Tag Team Match: Brodus Clay, Mark Henry & The Miz w/ Mason Ryan def. Big Show, R-Truth and Santino Marella >> Your basic six man tag match here as the heels really did a number on Santino and Truth throughout until Marella was able to make the hot tag to Big Show who cleaned house. However, shortly after that, Clay hit Truth with the Fall of Humanity to give Team Laurinaitis some momentum.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, we see a video recap of what happened when the WWE Divas appeared on Extra last week as Beth Phoenix really got into the face of Maria Menounos for suggesting that she could one day get into the ring. It is announced that Maria Menounos will be at WrestleMania XXVIII! No word yet on what she will be doing there but just having her there is good news. Divas Champion Beth Phoenix is still serving a week’s suspension due to the incident.
- Handicap Match: Kharma def. The Bella Twins >> Kharma defeated Eve this past week on Smackdown in her first match back and tonight she looked to top two divas at once. The Bella Twins tried their best but this was clearly put here as a showcase for Kharma and she put down the twins after hitting Nikki with an Implant Buster that landed her on top of Brie.
- Scott Stanford is standing by with Randy Orton and he asks about having to share his World Heavyweight Title match with Wade Barrett. Orton says that it’s obviously not ideal and he has no one to blame but himself for losing at Elimination Chamber. However, as he stated last week it just means that he’ll be able to get his hands on Barrett at the same time that he wins the World Title and nothing is sweeter than the sound of that.
- John Cena is now shown talking with the United States Champion Zack Ryder. Cena tells him that last week he was worried about him but after seeing him call out Kane tonight and man up to him, he has confidence in Zack come WrestleMania. Zack thanks him and tells him that he’ll be pulling for him against The Rock even though he’d like for The Rock to be his bro. Cena laughs as he heads off for our main event.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Chris Jericho & World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan w / AJ Lee def. John Cena & Randy Orton >> On one side we had two of the best wrestlers to ever step foot in a WWE ring and on the other we had a dream team of mega stars in Cena and Orton. The crowd was pumped for this as we got a very good main event with a lot of back and forth action. John Cena clearly was still focused on tonight even though The Rock is coming next week as he was on his game. Near the end, Orton and Bryan were the legal men and Orton was calling for the RKO. He went for it Bryan pushed him forward into the ropes and as they bounced off; he rolled Orton into a pin and got a clean three!
- Daniel Bryan exited the ring and shouted “Yes” up the ramp as AJ Lee followed with the World Heavyweight Title. Randy Orton was furious as he watched Bryan head up the ramp. Chris Jericho watched as well from the apron when a gong is heard and the lights go out. The crowd erupts as they know The Undertaker is on his way to the ring. He slowly walks to the ring as John Cena and Randy Orton leave on the side of the ramp. Chris Jericho made his way to the middle of the ring as he awaits The Undertaker. The Undertaker gets in the ring and goes face to face with Jericho. He points to the WrestleMania XXVIII sign and slowly nods his head up and down. The WWE Universe loves the sound of this as Jericho hasn’t backed down at all. He slowly turns towards the sign but is grabbed around the throat by The Undertake. The Phenom lifts him and plants him with a chokeslam. The Undertaker then did his signature taunt in the direction of the WrestleMania sign as Raw went off the air.

March 2nd, 2012 | KeyArena in Seattle, Washington- After the Smackdown intro and pyro display, the commentary team of Michael Cole, Josh Matthews and Booker T welcome us to Friday Night Smackdown! Tonight, a huge show is in store for everyone as we just learned that we will hear from The Undertaker at some point! Also, the Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes will face Christian in a non-title match and more!
- The theme of Wade Barrett hit as one of the number one contenders for the World Heavyweight Championship makes his way down to the ring. Footage is shown of Barrett standing tall over Daniel Bryan and taking out Randy Orton last week. He grabs a microphone and begins by saying that last week we saw another glimpse of just how unstoppable the “Barrett Barrage” is. He has thrown Randy Orton down a flight of stairs, beaten him at Elimination Chamber and taken out Daniel Bryan last week. Nobody and nothing can stop him. Daniel Bryan’s theme hits as the World Heavyweight Champion comes to the stage with AJ Lee. She’s holding the World Heavyweight Title as he begins to speak. Bryan says that even though Barrett has had a few good months on Smackdown, they haven’t been better than his recent run. He brags about beating the Big Show and Mark Henry numerous times, beating them together at the Royal Rumble, retaining his belt at Elimination Chamber and pinning Randy Orton on Raw. Barrett dares him to enter the ring and see if he can stop the Barrett Barrage. Theodore Long’s theme hits as the Smackdown General Manager joins Bryan and AJ on the stage. He knows that they want to get their hands on each other and he thinks that it is a fine idea, but he’ll allow that to happen next week. The crowd boos that it’s not going down tonight but they change to cheers when Long announces that in tonight’s main event they will need to work together as Barrett and Bryan team up to face Randy Orton and the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus! Barrett and Bryan stare holes through each other as they do not look like they will make a functioning team.
- Backstage, Ted Dibiase and the Big Show are shown walking towards the arena as they are in tag team action when we return.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A video package is shown focusing on the reveal of the full and official rosters for Team Laurinaitis and Team Long this past Monday on Raw. Three members of Team Laurinaitis got a win in a six man tag team match.
- Big Show & Ted Dibiase def. Drew McIntyre & Mark Henry >> A good opener for this week’s Smackdown as the long rivalry between Mark Henry and Big Show added another layer, while Ted Dibiase and Drew McIntyre continue to try and rise up through the Smackdown ranks. The heels worked over Dibiase for a good portion of the match but once he tagged in Show, things turned around in their favor. Show dominated and tagged Dibiase back in before nailing Henry with the WMD. This allowed the leader of the Dibiase Posse to hit Dream Street to get the win.
- The Dibiase Posse celebrated the win as neither Team Laurinaitis nor Team Long has been able to get much momentum. This was a good step for Team Teddy Long though.
- Cameron Lynn is standing by with the Intercontinental Champion, Cody Rhodes. She asks Cody about his feelings towards Christian interrupting him last week on Smackdown. Cody says that first of all, he isn’t disrespectful, he’s just truthful. However, Christian is rude for sticking his nose in business that doesn’t concern him and he’s going to teach him a thing or two tonight.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo is shown for this Monday’s edition of Raw which is jam-packed from Boston, Massachusetts. The Rock will make his return and there’s no telling what he has in store for his WrestleMania opponent, John Cena. The biggest news it the huge main event that was announced this past week as CM Punk will be defending the WWE Championship against the COO of the company, Triple H!
- Darren Young w/ Titus O’Neil def. WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne w/ Kofi Kingston >> After attacking multiple tag teams since their debut, the Prime Time Players have quickly made an impact but also quickly made enemies in the division. Last Monday they suffered a setback when they lost to the Usos, but Young defeated one half of the Tag Team Champions by dropping Bourne with the Gut Check.
- The audience booed as Darren Young grabbed a microphone. He says that they are the best tag team in the WWE and the Usos got lucky on Raw. They challenge them to another match on Raw and before long, they promise to come for the WWE Tag Team Titles.
- A graphic is shown promoting tonight’s main event tag team match where Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan will somehow have to work together to face Randy Orton and Sheamus.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A video airs for WrestleMania XXVIII live on pay-per-view, Sunday, April 1st, 2012.
- Matt Striker is backstage and he is standing by with Ted Dibiase and Big Show after their match earlier. He asks them what made them join Team Teddy Long. Dibiase says that it’s obvious which General Manager is the better and fairer one, plus the Dibiase Posse was backing Teddy Long so he had to as well. Show says that he’s seen a lot of authority figures come in and out of the WWE and none have been more consistent than Teddy Long and he respects that, so he’d rather not have John Laurinaitis take over.
- Non-Title Match: Christian def. Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes >> A great, long match wrapped up hour number one of Smackdown as these two put on a stellar showing. The crowd was firmly behind Captain Charisma as he came close to pulling out the victory on several occasions. He even managed to hit the Killswitch but Cody wisely rolled out of the ring before a cover could be made. Christian waited for Cody to get up and went for a dive to the outside but Cody moved and Christian crashed. This allowed Cody to take control for a bit and he connected with the Disaster Kick but Christian kicked out. Cody grabbed Christian for the Cross Rhodes, but Christian wriggled free and hit a snapmare. The finish came when Christian climbed to the top and performed a sunset flip getting the three from out of nowhere!
- The WWE Universe cheered loudly as Christian has got one over on the Intercontinental Champion. Cody Rhodes was livid in the ring and arguing with the referee. The commentators mention that this has to put Christian in contention for the Intercontinental Championship
- ===Commercial Break===
- “Here to Show the World” surprisingly hits as Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring. The announcers inform us that Ziggler is not scheduled to be at Smackdown tonight. He is without Vickie Guerrero as he enters the ring. Ziggler grabs a microphone and says that he has something to get off of his chest and it couldn’t wait until Monday. He shows footage of his altercation with Mick Foley this past Monday on Raw. Ziggler claims that Foley is the reason that he’s not the WWE Champion. Not only did he eliminate him from the Royal Rumble after already being eliminated, but he’s been in the back of his mind ever since and it is messing with his focus. He needs to be done with this Mick Foley problem and he wants to end it at WrestleMania XXVIII. He knows that Mick said continually that he isn’t around to wrestle but Ziggler promises to get him to agree to a match. He will not only face Mick Foley at WrestleMania but he will defeat him and rid himself of the lingering problem that is Mick Foley.
- Speaking of WrestleMania, Michael Cole, Josh Matthews and Booker T run down the card so far. Starting with the United States Championship match between Zack Ryder and Kane, moving onto the twelve man tag of Team Laurinaitis against Team Long, the World Heavyweight Championship match between Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett and Randy Orton, Chris Jericho taking on The Undertaker and of course, the once in a lifetime battle between The Rock and John Cena!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning to the backstage area, Theodore Long is in his office when Cody Rhodes barges in and demands that something be done about Christian beating him in a fluke. Long says that Christian beat him fair and square and may have just earned himself a future Intercontinental Title match. Cody shouts that this is wrong and that Christian doesn’t deserve one. Long tells him that nothing he says is going to change his mind and that he will begin to think about when this match should go down. Cody storms out, visibly upset.
- An ad is shown reminding us that Extra host Maria Menounos will be at WrestleMania XXVIII in some capacity after her near altercation with Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, which got Phoenix suspended for a week.
- Kharma def. Tamina >> Kharma’s been on a roll since her return but tonight she stepped into the squared circle with one of the most powerful Divas on the roster. This was a decent bout as Tamina got the most offense in against Kharma of all of the previous Divas. In the end Kharma hit the Implant Buster to beat Tamina.
- As Kharma raised her arms in victory, her theme song was cut off by the arrival of the Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix. She stays at the top of the ramp and has a microphone. She says that the first thing she wants to address is that she believes it was very unfair that she was suspended for voicing her opinion on that wannabe Maria Menounos and she’ll see her at WrestleMania. However, her next and more pressing matter to discuss is Kharma. Beth doesn’t know who Kharma thinks she is but she doesn’t just show up and hit her in the face. She’s a nobody while Beth is the most dominant Divas Champion in the history of the WWE. She knows that Kharma wants a shot at the belt but she hasn’t earned it yet. Beth says that if she keeps winning and gets a title shot, then she will go down like the rest of the Divas division because no one can touch the Glamazon. Kharma stares her down from the ring and suddenly bursts into her trademark laughter. Beth Phoenix looks a bit worried at this as the segment ends.
- Sheamus is now shown walking towards the arena as our main event is up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo is shown for the soon to be newest member of the WWE Hall of Fame as Owen Hart will be inducted the night before WrestleMania XXVIII along with Edge, Trish Stratus and Yokozuna.
- Sheamus & Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett & World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan w/ AJ Lee >> A very good tag team match to end the wrestling portion of the show as the crowd was extremely into this contest. Sheamus, despite not being involved in the match with the other three at WrestleMania, was on fire and might’ve shined brightest in this main event. He was on point and was very crisp with all of his offense. Daniel Bryan and Wade Barrett were very uneasy partners as it was clear there was tension between them. It became incredibly clear when Bryan needed a tag and Barrett backed off of the apron. Bryan was stunned and turned around right into an RKO which gave Orton the 1-2-3.
- The WWE Universe applauded the win for the faces as Randy Orton has now evened the score from Monday and picked up a win over the World Heavyweight Champion. Randy Orton stared down Wade Barrett as Barrett headed up the ramp. Once he left, Orton and Sheamus celebrated their main event win.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A gong goes off as The Undertaker is set to join us to close Smackdown. The arena seems darker than normal as even the spotlight on The Undertaker isn’t as bright as normal. The announcers point out that something looks different about The Undertaker but the camera stays kind of far. Once he gets on the steps and turns the lights on, it’s clear that this isn’t The Undertaker. He is much shorter and once we get a shot of the face, its Chris Jericho dressed like The Undertaker. He gets a microphone and begins to say that anyone can do the things that The Undertaker is so revered for. He can be The Undertaker but he chooses not to because he is better than The Undertaker. Jericho, to massive heat from the audience, continues and says that The Undertaker that attacked him last week is not the same Undertaker that we’ve seen over the years. His streak was an impressive display of dominance but recently, things have changed. Over the past few years people have gotten closer and closer to ending the streak. Randy Orton, Batista and Edge all challenged him greatly but then Shawn Michaels came along and nobody had ever been closer and he did it twice. Jericho says that those took a lot out of The Undertaker but nothing was like last year when Triple H beat the Undertaker within an inch of his career and he had to be carted out of the arena. Chris Jericho promises that the streak will end this year and we won’t see 20-0. He guarantees that he will destroy The Undertaker, his legacy and the WWE.

i must say you've got some interesting seeds planted in WrestleMania 28
Taker/Jericho. Bryan/Orton/Barrett. Kane/Ryder and Rock vs Cena. But the CM Punk/HHH rivalry is well worth it, Hoping their title match goes to WrestleMania after RAW. We all know Punk can survive against The Game. And as for Jericho, he has a lot of confidence but I don't see him breaking the Undertaker's Streak. Hoping Cena wins against The Rock as well, and can you imagine Kane winning the United States Championship too, we can call him the big red, white and blue machine. Also another feud between Dolph Ziggler and Mick Foley, hope Ziggler can survive this one against Foley because Mick's a tough SOB and he's proven that by fighting the likes of The Undertaker. Steve Austin. Kane. The Rock. Triple H. Randy Orton. Edge and all the others that have dealt with him and also a big tag team match between The General Managers too, something's going to give on this one I think Long's team should win instead of Laurinatis's team. Cause I didn't like Laurinatis's people power in real-life, I didn't like his abuse. But if he wins, I guess i'll have to live with it, but anyway WrestleMania is shaping up to be fun, ohhh and how can I not forget my cheap plug to WWF 1994 Diary as well,

Smackdown, here we go. Good opening promo with Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan setting the stage for the tag team match later on tonight, should be a good one. Big Show and Ted DiBiase getting the win is good for Team Teddy, gives them some momentum that will certainly turn over multiple times on the road to WrestleMania. Good victory for Darren Young over one half of the tag team champions in Evan Bourne, definitely making The Prime Time Players a threat in the division. Christian getting the win over Cody Rhodes is huge, sets the stage for the obvious Intercontinental Championship match coming down the road and probably at WrestleMania. Dolph Ziggler vs Mick Foley is something I did at WrestleMania 28. Always interesting to write up Foley, and I hope to see Ziggler be right with his prediction in order to beat Mick. Teddy Long assuring that Christian will get an Intercontinental Championship match was quite obvious, and I'm sure it will go down at WrestleMania. Obvious win for Kharma here over Tamina, but surprising to see Beth Phoenix come out and bash Kharma... probably not the smartest idea. Sheamus and Randy Orton getting the victory over Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan is a good choice, gives Orton some momentum for the face of the triple threat World Heavyweight title match. Ah, a swerve here with Chris Jericho pretending to be The Undertaker. Take that, WWE Universe! Great promo from Y2J to end the show, but nobody will believe that anybody will break the streak until they see it. Including me. Good show, Kev.

March 5th, 2012 | TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts
- The intro plays and is followed by the usual pyro before Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to tonight’s explosive edition of Monday Night Raw! Tonight we will not only see the return of “The People’s Champion” The Rock but CM Punk will also defend the WWE Championship against Triple H which will open our broadcast!
- WWE Championship: CM Punk [c] vs. Triple H went to a double count out >> When the announcement was made on wwe.com last week that this would open the show a lot of people were surprised and rightfully so. This was more of a fight than a wrestling match but it didn’t last very long. As they brawled, the action spilled into the crowd where they were relentless against each other. The referee counted to ten and the double count out got a negative response from the WWE Universe.
- Triple H and CM Punk continued to brawl throughout the crowd, which helped stymie the negative reaction that the double count out drew. They fought back to ringside where Triple H sent Punk into the announce table hard. Triple H grabbed a steel char and whacked Punk in the back with it! He did that twice more to the sound of sickening chair shots. It was clear that Triple H’s goal was now to hurt the WWE Champion. He went under the ring and pulled out his trademark sledgehammer. Things were looking very bad for CM Punk as he got up, only to be hit in the gut with it. Triple H then nailed him in the face with it and officials ran down to prevent more of this. He pushed aside most of them as it looks as if Triple H has lost it. He began to shout at CM Punk saying, “This is my company and that is my WWE Title!” Multiple Superstars now came down including Alex Riley, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne and the Big Show, to pull Triple H away from Punk. Triple H leaves as the camera catches CM Punk’s face and he’s been busted open. We cut away to commercial following that shot.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A recap of what just happened is shown as we see Triple H’s violent assault on CM Punk once again, although the shots of CM Punk’s bloodied face are avoided. We cut to a live feed of CM Punk being placed into an ambulance as several Superstars and Divas look on, most of them with horrified looks.
- Kharma def. Kelly Kelly >> The crowd was still pretty stunned at what we just witnessed, but the show must go on and it continued with divas action. Divas Champion Beth Phoenix was on commentary during this contest. Kharma continues to run roughshod through the Divas division and tonight was no different. Again, Kelly got in a bit of offense but was no match for Kharma, who downed her with the Implant Buster.
- After the match, Kharma glared at Beth Phoenix and motioned that she wanted the Divas Championship. Beth Phoenix stood up and got into the ring as these powerful Divas were now in the ring together. Beth Phoenix told Kharma on Smackdown that she hasn’t earned a title shot yet, but Beth entered the ring with a microphone in hand. She tells Kharma that she has been impressed with her as of late and she knows that she is gunning for the Divas Championship. She says that she will give Kharma a title shot if she can beat every Diva on the roster just like Beth Phoenix did. The three Divas that she’s yet to beat are Kaitlyn, Natalya, and AJ Lee. If she can beat those three over the next few weeks, then she will give her a shot at the title. Kharma begins to do her laugh but unlike Smackdown, Beth doesn’t get rattled, she instead hits her with the Divas Title, which sends Kharma down in a rare moment. Beth Phoenix exits raising the Divas Title high in the air.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning to Raw, we are taken backstage where John Laurinaitis and David Otunga are standing in his office. Laurinaitis is talking to someone off camera and he tells whoever it is that he will be in one on one competition against a member of Team Johnny tonight, The Miz! The camera pans out to reveal that he is speaking to Sheamus, and the WWE Universe explodes. Sheamus says that he is fine with that and as he goes to leave, Randy Orton enters to another big pop from the WWE Universe. Orton says that even though he evened the score with Daniel Bryan on Smackdown, he wants to beat him again tonight so he asks Laurinaitis for a match with him. Laurinaitis says that Bryan is not in the arena tonight but he will place him in a match tonight, against Albert Del Rio! Orton clearly is upset that he won’t be getting Bryan tonight and he leaves.
- Sheamus def. The Miz w/ Mason Ryan >> A solid main event for our first hour as the “Celtic Warrior” took it to The Miz in another preview of the twelve man tag at WrestleMania. It got a decent amount of time and the crowd was into it. Mason Ryan attempted to get involved but R-Truth ran in from the crowd and pulled him off the apron. This allowed Sheamus to hit Miz with a Brogue Kick for the finish.
- The WWE Universe applauded Sheamus’ victory as he celebrates and Team Teddy Long picks up some big time momentum heading into WrestleMania. The announcers now take us to the announcement of the newest member of the WWE Hall of Fame 2012 Class. So far we have Edge, Trish Stratus, Yokozuna and Owen Hart going in. Joining them on the night before WrestleMania will be Donald Trump as he will be a part of the Celebrity Wing.
- Michael Cole informs us that we will be seeing a special video from Dolph Ziggler when we return as he is not in Boston tonight.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning to Raw, we do in fact see Dolph Ziggler although it’s through the lens of a handheld camera. Dolph Ziggler introduces himself as The Showoff and tells us that this video is being directed by the lovely Vickie Guerrero. The camera pans out and we see that Ziggler is standing outside of a house. Ziggler says that at the Royal Rumble, he eliminated Mick Foley and Foley was so jealous that he then threw him out and ruined his shot at the WWE Title at WrestleMania. Then, when he confronted Mick about it, he was the ultimate coward and said he wasn’t going to wrestle. This past week on Smackdown he laid down a challenge for Mick at WrestleMania, one that he hasn’t answered. Dolph says that this is not about being a “showoff” or about being “damn good”; this is about something personal. This is about Mick Foley shattering his dream and he will get an answer from Mick. He turns and knocks on the door, which is answered by Mick Foley. Dolph immediately levels him with continuous right hands as Vickie Guerrero films with a shaky camera. As they spill into the living room, Mick’s wife and youngest sons are clearly in shock and scared. Mick’s eldest, 20 year old Dewey, attempts to break this up but Dolph nails him and throws him against the wall. He continues to hit Mick with vicious right hands until he grabs a lamp. When Mick begins to get up, Dolph breaks the lamp over his head and Foley drops the floor as his wife screams. Dolph turns to the camera and says that this is how serious he takes the WWE Title and WrestleMania. He promises that this will continue to happen until Mick mans up and accepts his challenge.
- ===Commercial Break===
- As we return, our announce team mention that tonight’s Raw has been full of heinous acts. First we had Triple H’s assault on CM Punk, which is shown again, followed by what Dolph Ziggler just did to Mick Foley and how this rivalry is changing Dolph.
- We are now taken to a video package highlighting Chris Jericho’s storied WWE career. It shows his debut, his Undisputed Championship victory, his return in 2007, his title runs and his most recent return and issues with The Undertaker. We see Chris Jericho from this past Friday on Smackdown when he dressed as The Undertaker and said that the Streak is becoming weak. It shows how Randy Orton, Batista, Edge and Shawn Michaels came very close to ending it. The last images we see are of Triple H hurting The Undertaker last year and how he had to be carted off while a voiceover is heard of Jericho saying that he will destroy the Streak.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes & Kane def. Christian & United States Champion Zack Ryder >> Zack Ryder and Kane’s feud is personal, while Christian and Cody have a rivalry based more on competition and Cody’s lack of respect. Ryder and Kane didn’t face off much, probably to leave their big time stuff for WrestleMania. This got a pretty good amount of time and was a good back and forth battle but in the end, a Chokeslam to Christian was all that the heels needed.
- The WWE Universe booed heavily as Cody Rhodes and Kane picked up the win. Zack Ryder helped Christian out of the ring and even Cody left to avoid Kane. He stood in the middle of the ring and did his signature taunt as the United States Title match at WrestleMania should be a good one.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo is shown for this Friday’s Smackdown, informing us that the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan will be squaring off against one of the number one contenders, Randy Orton, in a non-title match! Their battle of one upping each other will continue, but Wade Barrett will be lurking.
- The Prime Time Players def. The Usos >> A rematch from last week’s Raw here as the Prime Time Players suffered a setback by taking a loss to the Usos. This time around, they did not stumble as they defeated them after Titus O’Neil hit the Clash of the Titus on Jey.
- After the bell, the WWE Tag Team Champions AirBoom hit the ring and a brawl is on! AirBoom and the tag team division have had their issues with the Prime Time Players, who have taken to attacking everyone in the division. AirBoom clear the ring of the PTP as they are forced to regroup. AirBoom helps The Usos up as the Prime Time Players leave up the ramp.
- Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio are shown walking to the ring on a split screen because our main event is up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Much like the video that aired earlier focusing on Chris Jericho, we see one now that focuses on The Undertaker. It shows a rundown of his victories at WrestleMania over the years and the video ends with him chokeslamming Chris Jericho on Raw.
- Michael Cole informs the fans at home that CM Punk has a concussion and some rib damage due to the shots he took to the stomach with the sledgehammer. There is no word on how long Punk will be out of action but we should get an update by this Friday’s Smackdown.
- Alberto Del Rio def. Randy Orton >> A great main event for tonight’s edition of Raw as these two showed good chemistry and we got a competitive contest. Alberto Del Rio smartly worked over Randy Orton’s arm throughout the match, clearly setting up for the Cross Armbar. Meanwhile, Orton fought back and hit his key set of moves including the DDT and powerslam. He sent Del Rio into the corner but Del Rio ran into the referee and knocked him out. As he turned towards Orton, he was caught with an RKO! Orton covered but there was no referee. He went to wake him up when Daniel Bryan, who supposedly wasn’t in the arena, rushes to the ring and levels Orton with his World Title! He then climbs to the top and hits a diving headbutt before placing Del Rio’s arm over Orton and waking the official, who counted the three.
- The announcers mention that Daniel Bryan has tricked everyone, especially Randy Orton and got the better of him tonight. They mention that things will be different this Friday when they meet in the middle of the ring! However, we are about to be joined by The Rock for the first time since Survivor Series!
- ===Commercial Break===
- The theme of “The Great One” hit as The Rock is out to greet the WWE Universe. The roof of the building is nearly blown off as everyone goes crazy for the return of The Rock. He soaks in the chants of “Rocky” after he gets a microphone before starting with a good old “Finally, the Rock has come back to Boston!” This gets the usual pop from the fans before he continues by saying that it feels good to be back. He knows that he left again for a while but he’s here now and ready for the Road to WrestleMania. He is ready to take on John Cena in a once in a lifetime battle and he promises that we will see just who the better man is. It will either be the “People’s Champion” or the Fruity Pebble. John Cena’s theme hits as business was now picking up because the WWE’s poster boy got in the ring and went face to face with the Rock. Cena says that he’s been waiting for The Rock’s return for a few months. Ever since Survivor Series, when they teamed up and Rock jumped him after the match, he’s been waiting to see him. He was afraid that Rock wouldn’t show because recently his best stuff has been when he’s via satellite. He tells The Rock that he is focused on one thing and one thing only and that’s beating him at WrestleMania. He’s been the WWE Champion 10 times, he’s won in the main event of WrestleMania twice and all that he cares about right now is beating The Rock. This match means everything to him and he remembers seeing the Patriots lose in the Super Bowl and he’s been a Red Sox fan for his life so he knows that nobody cares about the guy who finishes in second place. In front of his hometown and his dad in the front row tonight, he vows to beat The Rock at WrestleMania. The crowd is amped for The Rock’s response as he begins to speak. He says that he likes that Cena is fired up but he needs to remember that this also means everything to him. He’s beaten Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan at the Show of Shows but if he can’t defeat John Cena then he’s not sure what his career would mean. The Rock says that he sees something in Cena that he never saw from him before and that is fear in his eyes. He knows that Cena’s confidence is shaken because if he loses he doesn’t know what his next step would be. The Rock loves that this is how John Cena feels because at WrestleMania he guaran-damn-tees that he will whip his monkey ass all over Florida. He goes to finish with his trademark closing but Cena grabs him and hits him with an Attitude Adjustment! The crowd gives a mixed reaction to this as Cena tells a fallen Rock that he can’t see him as Raw comes to a close.

March 9th, 2012 | Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut- Following the signature display and Smackdown intro, pyro goes off in the arena as Michael Cole, Josh Matthews and Booker T welcome us to Friday Night Smackdown .They promote tonight’s huge main event of World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan taking on the 2012 Royal Rumble winner, Randy Orton. We will have an update on the condition of WWE Champion CM Punk, two members of Team Long and two members of Team Laurinaitis will meet in two separate singles matches and Cody Rhodes will be defending the Intercontinental Title against the man who beat him last week, Christian in a match that will kick us off!
- Intercontinental Championship: Christian def. Cody Rhodes [c] via countout >> A big time Intercontinental Title match to open things tonight, however, for the second time this week a WWE program opens with a title match ending in a countout. Christian and Cody Rhodes once again put on a very good match and Christian came very close to leaving with the belt on numerous occasions but Cody would manage to kick out. Christian went for the Killswitch, but Cody broke free and escaped the ring. He grabbed his belt and began to walk up the ramp until the referee counted to ten.
- The WWE Universe booed as Cody Rhodes has saved his Intercontinental Title by getting himself counted out tonight. Christian was clearly not pleased as he grabbed a microphone. He said that last week he beat Cody and tonight, Cody ran away from what could’ve been a new Intercontinental Champion. Christian says that he wants one more match and he wants it for the belt! Cody shakes his head on the ramp until Teddy Long’s theme hits. The General Manager comes to the stage and announces that Cody can’t run away from a legitimate contender. Christian defeated him now last week and tonight so he will get another title shot and it will be at WrestleMania XXVIII! The crowd and Christian love this announcement as we head to commercial.
- ===Commercial Break===
- As Smackdown returns, a video recap is shown of Dolph Ziggler’s attack on Mick Foley this past Monday in Foley’s home is shown. The announcers really put over how we saw a new, more vicious side of the “Showoff.”
- Non-Title Match: WWE Tag Team Champions AirBoom def. Primo & Epico w/ Rosa Mendes >> AirBoom hasn’t competed in many tag team matches as of late due to Kofi Kingston’s recent involvement in the Elimination Chamber, however, they haven’t lost any steam. The fans were treated to a fun, high flying encounter that ended when Evan Bourne pinned Epico after an AirBourne.
- Cutting to the back, Matt Striker is standing by with the Prime Time Players. He says that they announced via wwe.com that they have a surprise tonight and he would like them to shed some light on this. Darren Young says that since they arrived their goal has been to make an impact and win the WWE Tag Team Titles. They have beaten the active tag teams on the roster except for AirBoom. Titus O’Neil says that tonight, they have challenged any team from the past and Teddy Long has put in a few calls and says that he got a team here tonight. We’ll just have to wait to find out which team from the past.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, Wade Barrett is shown entering Theodore Long’s office. Barrett says that he just came in to thank Long for booking tonight’s main event as he feels that it will be great to watch his WrestleMania opponents tear each other apart. Long appreciates that but informs Wade that next week’s main event will feature him against Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton will get the night off. Wade says that he will beat the World Heavyweight Champion next week and again at WrestleMania.
- Kharma def. Kaitlyn >> This past Monday on Raw, Beth Phoenix told Kharma that if she wanted a Divas Title shot she would have to defeat all of the Divas on the roster just like Beth did. Kharma takes another step in that direction with a win over Kaitlyn following the Implant Buster.
- A recap is now shown of the encounter between WWE Champion CM Punk and the COO of the WWE, Triple H. It shows how their match went, how it ended in a double countout and Triple H’s attacks with a chair and sledgehammer after. We will get an update on Punk’s condition when we return.
- ===Commercial Break===
- An advertisement for Raw this Monday night is shown announcing The Rock and John Cena will sign the official contract for their WrestleMania XXVIII match! Not only that but Triple H will be in the arena and the Miz will take on R-Truth in an Elimination Chamber rematch.
- Josh Matthews informs the viewers that CM Punk will be forced to miss about two weeks of action due to the concussion and bruised ribs that he suffered. He will not be able to participate in any in-ring activity however, Punk has promised that he will be at Raw this Monday so there should be some fireworks for sure.
- Mark Henry def. Ted Dibiase >> A great bout between two members of the twelve man tag at WrestleMania and Mark Henry was also looking for redemption after losing to Ted Dibiase shortly before Elimination Chamber. Dibiase continues to stay hot as he came close a few times, but unfortunately the World’s Strongest Slam gave Henry the win.
- Theodore Long is shown in his office watching on a monitor and is disappointed in the outcome of the previous match. Team Long and Team Laurinaitis have continued to trade victories. Santino Marella enters and thanks Teddydore Long for allowing him to be a part of his team. He says that he is going to prove that he is a vital asset when he beats Drew McIntosh tonight. Long thanks him as we cut away.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning to Smackdown, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan is shown preparing for his main event match tonight. AJ Lee walks in with a cup and tells her that his coffee is ready. He thanks her before taking a sip and spitting it out. He shouts that the coffee takes like crap and tells AJ that he needs to get it together. He sends her out for another one as we continue to see Daniel Bryan’s attitude change since winning the title.
- Booker T informs us that he has some breaking news as they are going to go live with Mick Foley via satellite right now. We see Mick Foley in his home with a bandage over his eye. The commentators ask Mick how he’s doing and what he wanted this time for. Mick says that he’s doing alright as he’s taken beatings before and knows how to take care of himself. He says that in all of his years in the business, he’s scared his wife more than once. He specifically remembers the 1999 Royal Rumble where he took over 10 steel chair shots to the head from The Rock and she had to leave to the back. However, The Rock was trying to win a match and Mick can understand that. What Dolph Ziggler did this past Monday was purely to scare his wife and to goad him into a match at WrestleMania. Mick shouts that it worked because he wants nothing more than to get his hands on Dolph Ziggler! He accepts Dolph’s challenge but says that he’s not going to Miami to wrestle a match; he’s going to fight Dolph. He’ll only accept if the match can be contested under Extreme Rules! He says that it was never his intention to ruin Dolph’s shot at main eventing WrestleMania however, after what Dolph did on Monday his intention is to make sure Dolph doesn’t even make it to another WrestleMania.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Santino Marella def. Drew McIntyre >> A decent contest here between two of the WWE’s more prominent mid-carders. We got treated to a fun match that came to an end when Santino Marella nailed Drew McIntyre with the Cobra.
- Much like the video that aired earlier focusing on Chris Jericho, we see one now that focuses on The Undertaker. It shows a rundown of his victories at WrestleMania over the years and the video ends with him chokeslamming Chris Jericho on Raw.
- The announcers now take us to the announcement of the newest member of the WWE Hall of Fame 2012 Class. So far we have Edge, Trish Stratus, Yokozuna and Owen Hart going in. Joining them on the night before WrestleMania will be Donald Trump as he will be a part of the Celebrity Wing.
- ===Commercial Break===
- The Prime Time Players are in the ring when we return with microphones. Darren Young states that a promised, Theodore Long has found a tag team from a previous era to face them tonight and they are going to beat them to continue to prove that they are the next Tag Team Champions. Titus says that the Prime Time Players are worth “millions of dollars”. He says it continually and they dance with it. The crowd pops as a familiar theme cuts them off and former WWE Tag Team Champions come to the ring.
- The Prime Time Players def. Too Cool >> Obviously the WWE Universe was psyched to see the return of Too Cool as they danced their way down to the ring. Once the match started, they showed that they are still in pretty good shape and didn’t have much ring rust. Despite their best efforts though, Young put down Scotty 2 Hotty with a Gut Check.
- Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton are shown walking backstage on a split screen because our main event it next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for WrestleMania XXVIII airs reminding us that it will air live on April 1st, 2012!
- Instead of the participants in the main event coming out, we are joined by Wade Barrett as he walks down to the ring and to the announce table. It looks like one of the number one contenders will be on commentary for our main event.
- Non-Title Match: World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan w/ AJ Lee def. Randy Orton >> A great main event as two of the very best that the WWE have to offer went at it to close the show. The fans were treated to awesome back and forth action that featured numerous near falls and some solid commentary from Wade Barrett. The match spilled to the outside after the official took a bump, and Bryan pushed Orton into Barrett, knocking him out of his chair. Bryan scurried back into the ring and Orton followed. Bryan ran at Orton but was caught with a snap powerslam and Orton began to call for the RKO. As he went for it, Bryan shoved him off right into a vicious forearm from Barrett. Bryan ran at Barrett and hit him with a running knee that sent him to the outside. Bryan climbed to the top and nailed a flying headbutt as the referee officially counted the win.
- For the second time in a week, Randy Orton has suffered a loss in the same way. A referee goes down, some outside interference hits him and Daniel Bryan delivers a flying headbutt to cost him a win. AJ Lee brings Daniel his World Heavyweight Championship and he celebrates with it up the ramp shouting “yes” at the top of his lungs as Barrett and Orton are both down in and around the ring.

Alright Pantoja-Hart, let's go with Smackdown. Good opening contest with Cody Rhodes saving himself from losing the title again, only for the inevitable to happen: Teddy Long announcing a match at WrestleMania against Christian. Should be a good one, and I like how you're giving the mid card titles some attention on the grandest stage of them all. AirBoom getting thew in over Primo and Epico comes as no surprise. Barrett versus Bryan next week sounds good to me. Kharma with another win, no surprise. She'll get a Diva's Championship match eventually, clearly. Mark Henry over Ted DiBiase is fine, keeps the build going for the Team Long vs Team Johnny Ace match. Nice via satellite promo from Micky Foley to announce the match at WrestleMania against Dolph Ziggler. Should be a good one and I'm interested to see if you give Dolph the rub like I did or go with a classic win for Foley. Santino Marella over Drew McIntyre, nothing special here really. Eh, Donald Trump in the Hall of Fame I never cared for. I see you've kept the same minus the addition of Owen Hart, which is fantastic. Not sure how realistic, but I could care less. The Prime Time Players getting the opportunity to face a one-off showing by Too Cool was nice, you're certainly building them up to be a legitimate threat in the tag team division. Finally, a good main event with Orton getting screwed over by the two heels. A nice win for Bryan and a nice touch to have him take out both Orton and Barrett. A good Smackdown show.

March 12th, 2012 | Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio
- The WWE signature and Raw intro video play before Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome everyone to the sold out Quicken Loans Arena for Monday Night Raw. Tonight, not only will we see the contract signing between The Rock and John Cena, but we will also hear from the WWE Champion CM Punk after he was taken out by Triple H last week.
- “Cult of Personality” hits the speakers as CM Punk gets us started tonight. He is walking gingerly towards the ring and is in street clothes as he clearly won’t be competing tonight. Punk gets in the ring and says that the doctors have told him to go home and rest for a few weeks but nothing was going to stop him from showing up in Cleveland to call out Triple H. Last week, Triple H took a WWE Title match and turned it into a brutal attack all because ever since becoming COO, he can’t handle any backlash from his employees. Because CM Punk is anti-authority, it bothered Triple H when in previous years it would’ve been something Triple H commended. As a member of DX, Triple H was one of the WWE’s premiere anti-establishment superstars of all time but now his balls are tucked away in Stephanie McMahon’s purse. This brings out Triple H, who isn’t in a good mood at all. He says that the anti-establishment stuff was cool when he was young and immature but now, he’s in charge and CM Punk needs to respect that or else we’ll see a repeat of last week. Punk says that he just because he doesn’t have the typical look of a WWE Superstar like Triple H; he’s been held back and told he wouldn’t make it. However, he’s the WWE Champion and has been for over 3 months in spite of guys like Hunter. He says that he came here tonight to end things like that once and for all by challenging Triple H to a match at WrestleMania XXVIII. Triple H laughs and says that CM Punk must have a death wish and he accepts only under the condition that the WWE Title is on the line so he can show the world once again what a WWE Champion should look like. Punk accepts and says that he will be healed very soon and Triple H will step into the ring with the “Best in the World”. At WrestleMania, Triple H will learn that Punk is like nobody he’s ever faced and he will still be the WWE Champion at the end of that night. Triple H extends his hand for a handshake and CM Punk slaps it away. They get right into each other’s faces before officials rush in to keep them apart.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Non-Title Match: Wade Barrett def. United States Champion Zack Ryder w/ Eve >> An interesting opening contest here as two of the WWE’s hotter Superstars did battle in a close match. About six months ago this would’ve probably been a squash but it goes to show how far Zack Ryder has come in that time. After solid competition, Wade Barrett hit the Wasteland to end it.
- Wade Barrett celebrated his victory and grabbed a microphone. He says that we just witnessed another victim of the “Barrett Barrage” and Daniel Bryan is next on the list. He promises to defeat him this Friday on Smackdown on his way to taking home gold at WrestleMania XXVIII.
- Wade Barrett leaves the ringside area as Zack Ryder began to get up. Fire blasts off from the turnbuckles as it looks like Kane is going to be coming out. Ryder rolls outside and grabs a steel chair as Kane’s theme music plays. Kane doesn’t show but the lights go out for a few moments. When they come back on, Ryder is still in the ring but Eve is gone. When Ryder notices this he starts to freak out and runs to the back to look for her.
- ===Commercial Break===
- As Raw returns, we see Zack Ryder searching through the halls for Eve. He checks in multiple rooms and is asking around. Ryder is clearly frantic as the announcers mention how scared both Eve and Ryder must be.
- Kharma def. Natalya >> Kharma now gets closer to the Divas Title shot that she has coveted since her return a few weeks ago. Natalya put up a very good fight, better than anyone so far and even got a near fall in. However, Kharma won with the Implant Buster and now only AJ Lee stands in the way of her title shot.
- Cutting to the back, John Laurinaitis is shown in his office with David Otunga when Booker T enters to a pop from the crowd. Booker asks what John wanted when he asked him to be here tonight. John says that the participants in the 12 man tag at WrestleMania have all been in action lately with the exception of him. So tonight, David Otunga will team with Brodus Clay to take on Booker and a partner of his choosing from Team Teddy. Booker doesn’t mind this information as he heads out.
- A graphic is shown for the Official Contract Signing between John Cena and The Rock, later tonight!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Dolph Ziggler is in the ring with Vickie Guerrero as we return from break. He has a microphone in his hand and advises the crowd to look at the titantron. A video plays of his home invasion of Mick Foley last week, followed by Foley declaring that he accepts Dolph’s challenge for WrestleMania as long as it can be contested under Extreme Rules. We cut back to Ziggler who says that he has no problem beating the living hell out of Mick Foley in an Extreme Rules match. He got exactly what he wanted and that’s a one on one match with Mick and he will end him to get back on track towards the WWE Title.
- Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero def. Christian >> Two of the top workers in the WWE went at it here in a match that got a lot of time and carried us over into the second hour or programming. Christian is gearing up for his Intercontinental Title shot at WrestleMania against Cody Rhodes but that will be a wrestling match and Dolph Ziggler was getting ready for a fight. He came at Christian with some stiff shots and the fight even spilled to the outside. Eventually it got back into the ring where Ziggler connected with a Zig Zag for the win.
- Dolph Ziggler celebrates his win to the crowd’s dismay as he heads up the ramp. Meanwhile, in the ring Christian was starting to get up when Cody Rhodes ran in from the crowd. He grabbed Christian and hit the Cross Rhodes. He raised the Intercontinental Title high in the air as he was showered with boos.
- Cut to the backstage area where Zack Ryder is still searching for Eve. He barges into a room and finds her, tied to a chair and with her mouth taped. He takes the tape off and she instantly shouts to watch out as Kane blindsides Ryder. He continues to pound away on him before grabbing him and throwing him into a wall. He picks up Ryder again and shoves him headfirst into the wall, this time through the wall! Kane then drags Ryder to the hallway and leaves him lying. He drags Eve’s chair to the hallway and forces her to watch what happens next. He picks up Ryder and tosses him through a glass window! Zack Ryder is laid out and must be reconsidering his challenge to Kane.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Recording artist Machine Gun Kelly, whose song “Invincible” is one of the WrestleMania themes, is shown in the front row. It is announced that he will be at WrestleMania on April 1st, 2012
- Chris Jericho’s theme hits as he makes his way out to the ring to a chorus of boos. He gets in the ring and begins to speak about the videos that aired last week highlighting how people have gotten closer and closer to ending the Streak in recent years. Jericho says that there is a reason why The Undertaker hasn’t been around since two Mondays ago and it’s because he has realized that the Streak will end this year. If we thought what Triple H did to Undertaker last year was rough, it is nothing compared to what Jericho has in store for the “Deadman”. Before he can continue, the surprising sound of Shawn Michaels’ theme hits as Cleveland explodes. The Heartbreak Kid dances his way to the ring as Jericho watches on blankly. Michaels grabs a microphone and says that he’s not out here to cause any problems; he’s out here to give some advice. He knows that people are getting close to beating the Streak, he knows firsthand about it. However, Michaels says that it cannot be done. He wrestled near perfect matches two straight years and couldn’t do it and Triple H beat the Undertaker so bad that he couldn’t walk out of the arena, yet he’s still undefeated. Chris Jericho cuts Michaels off and says that he’s not a washed up has been like him and he will not fail at WrestleMania. He suddenly grabs HBK and hits him with the Codebreaker! Before he can bask in the heat, a gong is heard for a massive pop. The lights go completely out and when they come back on, The Undertaker is face to face with Jericho. They instantly start to go at it by trading shots, which The Undertaker gets the better of due to being the best striker in WWE history. He backs Jericho into a corner and hits him with more soup bones before grabbing him by the throat. Jericho kicks him in the knee and escapes to the outside as he retreats up the ramp. The Undertaker rolls his eyes into the back of his head as we go to commercial.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for this Friday’s Smackdown is shown. The World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan will be going one on one with Wade Barrett in a non-title preview of WrestleMania! Also, we will witness the return of the masked sensation, Sin Cara!
- Brodus Clay & David Otunga def. Booker T & Sheamus >> A decent tag team preview of the twelve man tag at WrestleMania occurred here. The most interesting part of the match would be the interactions between Brodus Clay and Sheamus. These two brutes went at each other with straight force and the crowd was very into it; however the finish came when Clay hit Booker with the Fall of Humanity.
- The crowd booed as two members of Team Laurinaitis picked up the win and the cameras cut backstage where John Laurinaitis is seen celebrating in his office. We are then informed that Zack Ryder has been taken to the local hospital. He managed to escape without any major injuries but he does have a lot of bruises and lacerations. They also note that Eve is nowhere to be found as it seems Kane still has her.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Non-Title Match: WWE Tag Team Champions AirBoom def. Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks >> A better pure tag team match than the previous one although the WWE Universe wasn’t as emotionally into it. We got to see some solid action and the Champions prevailed after Kofi Kingston hit Hawkins with Trouble in Paradise.
- AirBoom were handed their belts and their arms were raised by the referee. Jerry Lawler tells us that this Friday on Smackdown; Kofi Kingston will go one on one with one half of the Prime Time Players, Titus O’Neill!
- Scott Stanford is standing by with John Cena. He asks John for his thoughts heading into the big contract signing tonight. John says that he sent The Rock a clear message last week and it’s that he’s not going to play any games. He will go out there, sign the contract and if things get physical, then so be it. No matter what happens, he’s going to best The Rock tonight and at WrestleMania.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, a video is shown announcing the sixth inductee of the 2012 Hall of Fame Class. We already know about Edge, Trish Stratus, Yokozuna, Owen Hart and Donald Trump. Member number six of eight is none other than Ron Simmons. The former Cleveland Brown and first ever African American World Champion is going to the Hall of Fame.
- R-Truth def. The Miz w/ Mason Ryan >> Tonight’s main event was a rematch of a contest we saw at Elimination Chamber. On that night, The Miz prevailed due to assistance from his new bodyguard, Mason Ryan. Tonight, things looked to be headed the same way until Ryan tried to intervene only to have the referee kick him out and send him to the back. Miz was furious, which allowed R-Truth to gain the upper hand as he won after hitting the Lie Detector.
- The Rock is shown walking to the arena in the back to a massive pop as the contract signing is up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- John Laurinaitis is standing in the middle of the ring, which is set up as it usually is for contract signings. The mat is covered with a red carpet and a table is set up in the center. John welcomes everyone to the contract signing of the century but is immediately cut off by the theme of John Cena. He walks down to the ring to his usual mixed, but very loud, crowd reaction. Once he gets in the ring he snatches the microphone from John Laurinaitis and says that he has nothing to do with how this match came about and nothing to do with him and The Rock so he tells Laurinaitis to leave or stay shut in the corner. Laurinaitis doesn’t like this but he backs into the corner regardless. The Rock’s music hits as he comes out to a thunderous ovation and gets into the ring. He sits across from Cena and grabs a microphone. He goes to say his trademark “finally”, but is cut off by John Cena. Cena says that they aren’t here tonight to stroke Rocky’s ego. He understands that the connection The Rock has with the WWE Universe is something special but he’s out here to sign the contract and make the match official. The Rock tells him to never again cut The Rock off. He tells Cena to lighten up and enjoy tonight. He didn’t come out here for a fight and Cena should appreciate these moments before the clock strikes twelve and he takes the biggest loss of his life at WrestleMania. The Rock says that Cena still has fear in his eyes. He knows that the wheels are spinning in his head over what would happen to his career if he somehow lost. Cena reiterates that he isn’t scared but he has gone over in his head what his next would be if he lost. He honestly doesn’t know just yet, but he knows that, win or lose, The Rock is going to take his ball and run back to Hollywood. Cena signs the contract and throws the pen at The Rock. The Rock says that Cena is right because he will go back to Hollywood. He admits that he has a good career going out there that he won’t give up; however, he’s never leaving the WWE for good. He will be back more often because there are things that he needs to do. He signs the contract and says that he just confirmed the first thing he needs to do is whip Cena’s monkey ass all over Miami. The Rock goes to do his usual closing, but Cena slaps the microphone out of his hand. They go nose to nose as it looks like things are about to explode until Cena does the “you can’t see me” gesture and backs away. The Rock extends his arm and tells Cena to “just bring it.” The tension in the building is incredibly thick as they come back to being face to face. Cena swings but the Rock blocks it and levels him. They now trade shots until The Rock sends Cena off the ropes and hits a spinebuster. The crowd is unglued as Rock is now setting up for the People’s Elbow. The Rock runs off the ropes for it but Cena rolls out of the ring and away from it. The two men have a staredown to close the show.

WrestleMania 28 card looks pretty great but as far as my predictions go for the WWE Championship, CM Punk vs Triple H, I am calling it Punk wins at WrestleMania 28 and why do I say that? Because CM Punk should go on to have the longest reigning WWE Championship reign of the past 25 years at 434 days and that can't happen if he loses to Triple H at WrestleMania 28 so Punk should go over Triple H
20-0 or 19-1, Undertaker vs Chris Jericho, Undertaker wins taking the streak to 20-0
Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Bryan defending against Wade Barrett and Randy Orton, my pick is Randy Orton the 2012 Royal Rumble Match winner, with Orton breaking the Rumble curse
WWE Intercontinental Championship, Rhodes vs Christian, Rhodes will retain
Extreme Rules Match, Ziggler vs Foley, Ziggler wins
WWE United States Championship, Kane vs Zack Ryder, Ryder wins retaining his WWE United States Championship
Once in a Lifetime main event, Rock wins with Cena's heel turn happening either during this match or after the match

March 16th, 2012 | Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio- The intro video plays which is followed by Josh Matthews and Michael Cole welcoming everyone to Columbus, Ohio and Friday night Smackdown. Tonight we will see the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan go one on one with Wade Barrett! Also, Chris Jericho is here tonight and will be going one on one with Booker T.
- Alberto Del Rio’s theme hits as the Mexican Aristocrat makes his way down to the ring dressed in a suit. He enters the ring and grabs a microphone. He introduces himself as usual and says that things are about to change on Smackdown. No longer will everyone have to endure Theodore Long and his unfairness. Alberto Del Rio claims that at WrestleMania his team will win and Mr. John Laurinaitis will take control of both Raw and Smackdown. Del Rio says that brighter days are ahead and once Laurinaitis is running the show, Del Rio says that the entire team will be handsomely rewarded. He will be coming back for his WWE Title once that “perro” Teddy Long is gone. Teddy Long’s music hits as the Smackdown General Manager comes to the stage. He tells Del Rio that he can have his opinion on which General Manager is better, but he will not tolerate a Superstar coming out and badmouthing him. He says that Del Rio’s tag team match scheduled for tonight is now going to open the show. Del Rio shouts that he’s not ready or in ring gear but it looks like he’ll be wrestling in that outfit.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Sheamus & Ted Dibiase def. Alberto Del Rio & Mark Henry >> Another preview of the upcoming twelve man tag team match at WrestleMania as these will most likely continue until the Show of Shows. Basic tag formula was utilized as the heels worked over Dibiase until he made the hot tag to Sheamus. He came in on fire and cleaned house. He ended the match after hitting Mark Henry with a Brogue Kick.
- The crowd cheered as Sheamus and Ted Dibiase picked up a victory on the road to WrestleMania. The cameras cut backstage where Theodore Long is looking on proudly when Booker T walks in. Long thanks him again for representing for him at WrestleMania but he questions stepping into the ring with Chris Jericho tonight. Theodore Long says that Jericho is more dangerous than ever and this might not be a good idea. Booker understands his concerns but he wants to compete against the best to get ready for WrestleMania and that’s what he’s going to do tonight.
- A graphic is shown for The Peep Show, which returns tonight! Host Christian will have his WrestleMania opponent and Intercontinental Champion, Cody Rhodes as his guest! First though, the masked sensation Sin Cara, returns up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for WrestleMania XXVIII is shown and it will be live from Miami, Florida on Sunday April 1st, 2012!
- Sin Cara def. Johnny Curtis >> Johnny Curtis doesn’t get much TV time unless it’s on Superstars or NXT, so this was clearly going to be a match to get Sin Cara over. He wrestled without the light effects that he normally has and was crisp in the ring. Only one botch, which was a good sign, and he won after hitting a Swanton Bomb.
- Cutting backstage, Matt Striker is standing by with the World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan. He asks Daniel about his match with Wade Barrett tonight. Daniel says that it is an outrage and complete injustice that he has to face Barrett tonight. Not only did he have to wrestle Randy Orton last week but he beat him! He’s not rewarded though; instead he’s forced to face Barrett tonight. It’s no matter in his mind though, because he will beat Barrett just like he beat Orton last week and just like he’s going to beat them at WrestleMania.
- A video is shown announcing the sixth inductee of the 2012 Hall of Fame Class. We already know about Edge, Trish Stratus, Yokozuna, Owen Hart and Donald Trump. Member number six of eight is none other than Ron Simmons. The former Cleveland Brown and first ever African American World Champion is going to the Hall of Fame.
- ===Commercial Break===
- The Viper, Randy Orton is seen on screen when we return as Matt Striker now catches up to him. He asks Orton about his plans for tonight since he’s not competing, but his WrestleMania opponents are. Orton says that he’s going to study the match tonight but he’s not sure if he’s going to do that from the back or at the announce table like Wade Barrett did last week.
- Cutting to the ring, it is set up for the Peep Show. Before it begins however, a video package is shown of the previous interactions between Christian and Cody Rhodes. When the video ends, Christian joins us to a big pop from the WWE Universe. He welcomes everyone to the Peep Show and claims that tonight’s edition is very special. He’s done this show many times and had many guest stars but none are bigger in their own mind than his guest tonight. He introduces Cody Rhodes, who comes out with an agitated look on his face. Christian welcomes him and starts with an easy question, asking Cody how it’s been being the Intercontinental Champion. Cody says that it has been great because he’s not just an Intercontinental Champion, he’s THE Intercontinental Champion. He calls himself the greatest ever; better than Honky Tonk Man, Pat Patterson, his own brother Goldust, Edge and Christian. Christian laughs a bit and says that he’ll have to prove that at WrestleMania. Christian’s next few questions really get under Cody’s skin, as he asks if it’s nice in Cody’s delusional world and if he’s going to miss the Intercontinental Title after WrestleMania. Cody gets mad, jumps out of his seat and shoves Christian. Christian doesn’t retaliate and tells Cody to calm down. Cody doesn’t and takes a swing at Christian, but Christian ducks. Christian then nails him with right hands, backing him into the corner until he tosses him over the top rope and to the outside. Cody retreats up the ramp clutching his Intercontinental Title as Christian dares him to come back in the ring.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Chris Jericho def. Booker T >> Booker T definitely showed that he still has “it” as he went toe to toe with one of the top guys on the roster and hung tough. He even managed to go for the Scissors Kick only to have Jericho catch his leg in mid-air and drop him on his back. Once there he locked in the Walls of Jericho and Booker had to submit.
- The crowd booed as Chris Jericho raised his arms in victory before going and locking back in the Walls of Jericho. Officials ran down to try and have him break the hold but Jericho wouldn’t budge. After about two minutes he finally broke it and seemed to be leaving. However, he grabbed a chair on the outside and brought it in. He began to smash Booker’s leg with the chair numerous times. The entire time Jericho had a crazed look in his eyes.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A recap is shown of the crazed attack on Booker T’s leg by Chris Jericho after their match.
- Matt Striker catches up to Chris Jericho and asks him what the attack was all about. Jericho says that anyone that steps into the ring with him is going to feel the same pain that he will make the Undertaker endure and that’s just what Booker T had to go through tonight.
- Kharma def. AJ Lee >> The final stop on Kharma’s run through the Divas division is against the last Diva to get a title shot on Pay-Per-View, AJ Lee. AJ clearly looked intimidated as most of the Divas on the roster trump her in size, but Kharma was on a whole new level. AJ did manage to get in some offense but fell to the Implant Buster like everyone else.
- Kharma began to laugh in the ring as she has fulfilled Beth Phoenix’s challenged and beaten every Diva on the WWE roster. On cue, the Divas Champion Beth Phoenix walks out to the stage with a microphone. She admits that she is impressed by Kharma and will give her the title shot. However, they will do it on the grandest stage in the WWE; at WrestleMania. Kharma continues to laugh as the cameras cut backstage.
- Theodore Long is shown in his office when Drew McIntyre enters. Drew says that he heard that Booker T’s leg is messed up bad and he won’t be able to compete for a while, meaning he will miss WrestleMania. Teddy says that he heard that news as well, that’s why he’s found a replacement for Booker already. Drew is surprised at this and asks who the replacement is. Sin Cara appears on screen next to Theodore Long and says something in Spanish. Teddy translates it to “I’ll see you in Miami.” Drew McIntyre storms off as it looks like Sin Cara has joined Team Teddy Long!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A video recap is shown of the Contract Signing between The Rock and John Cena this past Monday on Raw. After the video is shown, it is mentioned again that Machine Gun Kelly, who provided one of the WrestleMania’s theme songs, “Invincible”, will be at WrestleMania.
- Titus O’Neil w/ Darren Young def. WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston w/ Evan Bourne >> A decent match between two members of two of the top tag teams in the WWE. Kofi Kingston carried a good portion of the match, although Titus used his power to dominate some parts. In the end the Clash of the Titus put down Kingston.
- The Prime Time Players did their “millions of dollars” dance to celebrate as Josh Matthews puts over how the Prime Time Players have now beaten AirBoom in separate singles matches and a title shot can’t be far away.
- Backstage, Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan are shown walking on a split screen as our main event is coming up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for this Monday’s episode of Raw airs. Mick Foley, The Undertaker and The Rock will all be in attendance on this huge night, plus John Cena will go one on one with Chris Jericho in what is set to be another massive Raw!
- Randy Orton’s theme plays as it looks like he will be joining the commentary table for tonight’s main event.
- Non-Title Match: Wade Barrett def. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan >> AJ Lee was not at ringside with Daniel Bryan tonight, most likely due to her rough match with Kharma earlier. The fans were treated to a great main event as these two have a long history from NXT Season 1, The Nexus angle and their match at SummerSlam last year which has stemmed good chemistry. It was interesting that it was heel vs. heel though and the crowd was split. Just like last week, Bryan got physical with the man on commentary as he hit Orton. Barrett smartly distracted the referee as Orton retaliated against Bryan with a vicious European uppercut. He tossed Bryan back inside, which allowed Barrett to pick him up and hit the Wasteland for the victory.
- Wade Barrett raised his arms in the air as he has just pinned the World Heavyweight Champion and if that happens at WrestleMania, Wade Barrett will be our new Champion. He didn’t get to celebrate for long as he turned around right into an RKO! The crowd popped huge for that and, once Bryan got up, he was also met with an RKO! Randy Orton is on top at the end of Smackdown!

March 19th, 2012 | Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- The weekly Raw intro and pyro open the show followed by Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler introducing us to tonight’s broadcast. Less than two weeks from tonight is WrestleMania XXVIII and it’s shaping up to be a classic but so is tonight. In our main event John Cena will go one on one with Chris Jericho and both of their WrestleMania opponents, The Rock and The Undertaker, are in the arena!
- The WWE Universe explodes as Mick Foley makes his way to the ring and it’s clear that he’s not in his usual cheery mood. He gets in the ring and waits for the chants of “Foley” to die down. He starts by saying that he’s not here to get a cheap pop or to have fun. He’s here because two weeks ago on Raw, Dolph Ziggler decided that he wasn’t going to be the “Showoff” or the arrogant jerk that he normally is. He decided to be a vicious, brutal and heartless human being when he attacked him at his home in front of his family. Mick is happy that Dolph accepted the idea of an Extreme Rules match for WrestleMania because he is going to brutalize him that night. However, he’s here tonight to get a head start on WrestleMania. Dolph Ziggler comes out to the stage with a microphone in his hand now, saying that he’s happy to see Mick Foley here tonight. He’s glad that he didn’t do too much damage to him two weeks ago because he wants him ready for WrestleMania. This match means everything to him because it will put him back on track to the WWE Title that is rightfully his. He knows that a lot of people are saying that he doesn’t stand a chance at WrestleMania because Mick Foley is the king of hardcore, but he’s going to prove that he is the best at everything he does, including Extreme Rules matches. Ziggler says that he will be in an Extreme Rules matches on Smackdown and next week’s Raw to prepare himself for WrestleMania. Mick says that he doesn’t need to have an Extreme Rules match; he just needs to come down to the ring right now. Dolph tells Mick that if all he wanted was a fight tonight, then he’s here for no reason. Dolph got what he wanted when Mick agreed to a match and now it’s all about the waiting game. Dolph exits to boos as Mick stays in the ring. Mick says that if Dolph won’t come here to fight him, he’ll fight him in the back. The crowd pops as Mick heads to the back.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, John Laurinaitis is shown in his office with David Otunga. He is bragging about how amazing Raw has been since he took over and that’s what he says Smackdown will be like when he has control of it. A knock is heard and in steps Randy Orton to a loud pop. Laurinaitis says that Randy is just the man he was looking for. He tells Randy that he’s heard that Randy would support Theodore Long over him as General Manager. Orton responds by saying it doesn’t matter to him either way as he’s solely focused on the World Heavyweight Title. Laurinaitis is sorry to hear that because he would’ve liked Orton’s backing. This is why he’s putting Orton into a match tonight against a member of Team Laurinaitis…Brodus Clay!
- Number One Contender’s Match: The Prime Time Players def. The Usos >> These two teams have traded wins since the debut of the Prime Time Players but the stakes were raised tonight. The winner of this match would go on to face AirBoom for the WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania. A solid match ended when Darren Young hit Jimmy Uso with the Gut Check.
- The crowd booed the result of this match as The Prime Time Players did their “millions of dollars” dance. The announcers mention that they’ve defeated AirBoom in singles matches already so they may have the Tag Team Champions’ number.
- The cameras cut to what looks like a boiler room when Kane steps into the view. He says that last week he put Zack Ryder in a hospital and that’s only the beginning for him. Kane says that the first thing he wanted to take was Ryder’s health which he’s done. The next thing he took was Ryder’s girl. Suddenly, Eve appears next to Kane, dressed in all red and actually looks like she’s enjoying his company. She hugs up on Kane and smiles as Kane says that Eve will be accompanying him to the ring at WrestleMania. He ends the promo by saying that the last thing he will take from Zack Ryder is the United States Championship.
- ===Commercial Break===
- An ad for this Friday’s Smackdown is shown. So far, Daniel Bryan has split two non-title singles matches against his WrestleMania opponents. Now, in another chapter of their storied rivalry, Randy Orton will go one on one with Wade Barrett. Will Barrett pick up his second straight Smackdown main event win and his second straight win over “The Viper”? Or will the WWE’s “Apex Predator” gain serious momentum heading into WrestleMania?
- Randy Orton def. Brodus Clay >> Besides taking a pinfall at Elimination Chamber, Brodus Clay has been undefeated but he got his first huge test tonight. Clay was still a dominant force as he held serve in the early stages of this contest, however “The Viper” stormed back behind the crowd. An awesome ending came when Brodus went for his signature cross body but Orton somehow caught him in the air with an RKO!
- Randy Orton raised his arms in victory as he looks forward to his Smackdown showdown with Wade Barrett. Daniel Bryan’s theme hits as the World Heavyweight Champion comes out shouting “yes” down the ramp and around the ring. Orton looks on confused as Bryan goes around the ring twice with this and then back up the ramp, never stopping.
- Mick Foley is shown looking for Dolph Ziggler when he finds Vickie Guerrero. He demands to know where Dolph is but she won’t give the information. Suddenly, Ziggler attacks Foley from behind. He tosses him into a nearby gate and grabs a nearby trash can. He turns back to Mick but is met with right hands! Foley is fighting back with vicious right hands until he grabs the trash can and hits Dolph with it. Foley takes a nearby chair and heads towards Dolph, but Dolph is up and heading out the door and to the outside. Foley follows but Dolph gets into a car and heads off.
- ===Commercial Break===
- CM Punk makes his way to the ring when the commercial break is over dressed in his trademark hoodie. He enters the ring and sits cross-legged in the middle. Punk has a microphone and says that last week on Raw he went face to face with the Chief Operation Officer of this company and challenged him to a match at WrestleMania and surprisingly, Triple H accepted. He is surprised because he expected Triple H to hide behind his suit and avoid this confrontation. Punk says that this is all because he’s “anti-establishment” and doesn’t respect Triple H. Punk says that he’s not anti-establishment but the part about not respecting Triple H is true. When Punk sat at the top of the ramp eight months ago and cut his infamous promo, he called Triple H “Vince McMahon’s doofus son-in-law” and he meant it. This isn’t about silly name calling anymore though. Triple H made this a very personal matter and at WrestleMania CM Punk promises to end Triple H. To everyone’s surprise, the theme music of Stephanie McMahon hits as Triple H’s wife walks down to the ring. She gets in and grabs a microphone and looks concerned. She tells CM Punk that she’s worried about WrestleMania. She understands where Punk is coming from because Triple H did make this personal and did assault him. However, she brings up the fact that Triple H is a father to three little girls and she doesn’t want anything to happen to him. Punk tells her that Triple H should’ve thought of that before deciding to step back into the ring. CM Punk tells her that she can beg and plead all she wants but nothing is going to change his mind about the things he’s going to do to Triple H in Miami. Stephanie begins to cry but CM Punk doesn’t budge. Triple H comes down to the ring with no music and tries to console his wife. Triple H begins to shout at CM Punk that he needs to respect his wife. Stephanie has moved away from the shouting match and behind Punk where she hits him with a low blow from out of nowhere. Triple H puts the boots to CM Punk while Stephanie laughs. Triple H picks up Punk and holds him while Stephanie slaps him. The crowd boos loudly as Triple H drops CM Punk with a Pedigree. He kisses Stephanie and they raise their arms high to end the segment.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A recap of what just went down between CM Punk, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon is shown adding fuel to the fire for WrestleMania.
- Alberto Del Rio, David Otunga & The Miz w/ Mason Ryan def. Big Show, Sin Cara & Sheamus >> After Chris Jericho’s attack on Booker T this past Friday, it was announced that Sin Cara would replace him at WrestleMania. Sin Cara worked well with his teammates here as the fans were treated to a fun six man tag. Despite this it would be Sin Cara who would tap out to the Cross Armbar.
- While Alberto Del Rio celebrated the victory, the other four superstars brawled on the outside until the one man advantage of Mason Ryan came into play. That allowed The Miz and David Otunga to overcome Big Show and Sheamus as Team Laurinaitis looks strong as we get closer to WrestleMania.
- Scott Stanford is standing by with John Cena, who gets a mixed reaction once shown. He asks Cena for his thoughts heading into a match with Chris Jericho tonight, after Jericho’s claim that anyone he steps in the ring with will end up injured like Booker T. Cena says that he’s never been one to run from a challenge and he dares Jericho to injure him because nothing will stop him heading into the biggest match of his life in Miami. He says that he knows the Rock is here and he hopes to see him before the night is over.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for WrestleMania XXVIII is shown, reminding the folks at home that will air on April 1st, 2012.
- A quick video is shown of Kharma’s run of destruction through the Divas division and Beth Phoenix’s announcement that she will defend the Divas Title against Kharma at WrestleMania.
- Non-Title Handicap Match: Divas Champion Beth Phoenix def. The Bella Twins >> Kharma defeated the Bella Twins in a handicap match a few weeks ago and Beth Phoenix wanted to try a little “anything you can do, I can do better.” She had a tougher time in this match than Kharma did as the Bellas managed to do a good job. Beth won after hitting Brie with a Glam Slam onto Nikki while she was on the mat.
- Beth Phoenix was handed the Divas Champion and she raised it high in the air. WrestleMania XXVIII is set to provide us with the hardest hitting Divas Title match of all time. Suddenly, Extra host Maria Menounos is shown on the titantron. She calls to Beth Phoenix and says that she has something to tell her. Maria says that she’s been a lifelong WWE fan and she has competed in the ring before so she didn’t appreciate Beth Phoenix’s attempt to attack her on her show. She will be at WrestleMania but next week on Raw, she will be in attendance and she challenges Beth Phoenix to a match! Beth Phoenix says that Maria Menounos must be insane because nobody can beat her, but she agrees to the match.
- Backstage, John Laurinaitis is shown in his office when Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, David Otunga and Mason Ryan enter. They are all celebrating the win and saying the same thing is going to happen at WrestleMania. Theodore Long enters surprisingly and they stop celebrating. He congratulates them on their victory but mentions that he saw something he didn’t like during the post-match scuffle. At WrestleMania he is officially banning Mason Ryan from ringside! John Laurinaitis and The Miz tell him that he can’t do that but he says that, in fact, he can. He leaves as Team Johnny looks upset.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A video is shown announcing a new member of the 2012 Hall of Fame Class. Already set to be inducted are Edge, Trish Stratus, Yokozuna, Owen Hart, Donald Trump and Ron Simmons. The seventh addition will be Mil Mascaras, one of the greatest Lucha Libre athletes of all time.
- The Rock’s theme hits to a thunderous ovation as “The Great One” makes his way down to the ring. He gets in the ring and does his normal “finally” bit. He says that he is here to entertain the millions and millions of his fans on commentary during John Cena’s upcoming match.
- John Cena def. Chris Jericho via disqualification >> The chemistry between these two continues to shine in their matches. Chris Jericho and John Cena wrestled a different match than they normally do due to Jericho’s shift in attitude and style. He worked over Cena’s leg throughout and was clearly setting up for the Walls of Jericho. However, Jericho couldn’t lock it on and eventually; Cena got him in the STF! Jericho managed to reach the ropes. The Rock was providing pretty great and hilarious commentary throughout but things were about to get serious. Jericho went to the outside and got a steel chair, which he used to hit Cena in the leg causing the disqualification.
- Chris Jericho began to hit John Cena with the chair in the back numerous times, looking to destroy him like he did to Booker T on Smackdown. The Rock got up from the announce table to a huge pop and got into the ring. Jericho stopped and stared down The Rock. Everyone is wondering if The Rock will help but instead he levels Jericho with multiple right hands before knocking him to the outside. The crowd goes wild as The Rock celebrates what he just did. John Cena is now up and as The Rock gets down from posing on the turnbuckle, Cena lifts him and plants him with an AA! He goes back to the mat as he’s still hurt but he rolls out of the ring to another mixed reaction. Cena heads up the ramp and leaves.
- Chris Jericho gets back into the ring and looks to be going after The Rock but The Rock rolls to the outside. Before Jericho can follow, the lights go out and a gong is heard. The crowd erupts as The Undertaker makes his way to the ring. He goes to turn on the lights in the arena from the steel steps but when the lights come up, Jericho is no longer in the ring. He’s behind The Undertaker and he strikes him with the chair in the back. The Undertaker falls to the ground where Jericho continues to bash him with the chair. Jericho shouts something about leaving The Undertaker the same way he was at WrestleMania 27. Jericho then grabs the steel steps and, as The Undertaker is getting up, smashes him in the face with them. Jericho puts the steps on The Undertaker and hits them with a chair! The Undertaker is out cold as Chris Jericho looks on with a sadistic smile. He has taken out The Undertaker just like Booker T and Jericho is more dangerous than ever.

Good opening promo here on Raw with Mick Foley targeting Dolph Ziggler. Interested to see if they get into a brawl in the back... they probably will. Good opening contest with The Prime Time Players getting the win to get a Tag Team Championship match. Not much of a surprise here with them being pushed hard since their debut. Eve with Kane? What? Huh? Uh... just don't Katie Vick her. I mean. Nevermind! Strange twist, but interesting. Obvious victory for Randy Orton over Brodus Clay, gives him a nice little victory in 'Mania season. Nice attack from Ziggler backstage on Foley, and I really think he will get the win at Mania. Good promo from CM Punk and the involvement from Stephanie to allow Hunter to get the upper hand. Always good to have a personal feud for the WWE Championship... makes it much more interesting. Solid win for Del Rio, Otunga and Miz for Team Big Johnny over Team Teddysorous. Not surprised to see Beth Phoenix get the win here over The Bella Twins. Maria Menounos challenging Beth Phoenix to a match shall be interesting... I do smell something fishy though. No pun intended. I feel like there will be something with Kharma. Good main event between Cena and Jericho with The Rock making the save for John... only for the Attitude Adjustment. Oo kill 'em! Nice appearance from The Undertaker here but Jericho taking him out was the best option here. He needs to be able to look strong going into 'Mania. Good edition of Raw... I'm ready for 'Mania, damn it.
