Fell a little bit behind on this because you have been pumping out the shows at rapid pace over the last couple of weeks it seems.
WrestleMania is really starting to shape up, graphics are great by the way
Mania card is a nice, decent card and you can clearly see that you are now starting to take this in your own direction. It's a good read but for me it isn't currently must read nothing really has grabbed my attention yet like Ryan, AJ, Bob Bob or Bischoff's diary has. Hopefully the Mania show will do that for me.

March 23rd, 2012 | Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey- Fireworks explode after the weekly opening video signaling the start of Friday night Smackdown! Michael Cole, Josh Matthews and Booker T welcome everyone to the show. Booker T has a cast on his leg and has it raised but says that nothing will stop him from being at Smackdown. Tonight, Randy Orton will go one on one with his biggest rival, Wade Barrett! Plus, Sheamus takes on Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler will compete in an Extreme Rules match!
- The World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan makes his way down to the ring with AJ Lee close behind. He got a microphone and began to speak about the past few weeks on Smackdown. He stepped into the ring with both of his opponents for WrestleMania and split his matches. He says that his victory over Randy Orton was exactly what would’ve happened at WrestleMania if Orton wasn’t such an idiot that got Wade Barrett involved. He then claims that the only reason he suffered a loss to Wade Barrett last week was because of Randy Orton’s interference. Bryan claims that Orton is jealous of his success and he’s going to enjoy sitting back and watching his two opponents rip each other apart tonight while he enjoys a night off. Theodore Long interrupts as he comes to the stage to nice hand from the WWE Universe. He tells Bryan that he’ll be able to sit back and watch the main event, but he won’t have the night off. He’ll be in action in our opening contest against the leader of the Dibiase Posse! Daniel Bryan is visibly upset that he has a match tonight.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Non-Title Match: World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan w/ AJ Lee def. Ted Dibiase >> A very strong opening contest tonight as Ted Dibiase continues his vast improvements, while Daniel Bryan keeps on being fantastic in the ring. This was a step up from their United States Title matches back in 2010 and Dibiase gave it a great effort. He scored a few near falls but eventually tapped out to the LeBelle Lock.
- AJ Lee handed Daniel Bryan the World Heavyweight Title and he raised it high in the air shouting “yes” from the top of his lungs. The crowd booed this as the cameras cut backstage.
- Backstage, Matt Striker is standing by with Dolph Ziggler. He questions him about his Extreme Rules match tonight and who he’s going to face. Dolph says that he is better than Mick Foley in every single way and he will prove it by winning Extreme Rules matches. He says that Theodore Long will be selecting his opponent for tonight but it doesn’t matter who it is because he guarantees that he will beat them.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo airs for NXT on ION Television. The program will feature the future of the WWE as a new group of superstars will appear. It premieres on 4/4/12.
- Theodore Long is shown in office with Hornswoggle when Sheamus enters. Long greets him and thanks him for not only supporting him and being on his team at WrestleMania; but for also representing him in multiple tag team matches over the past few weeks. Sheamus says it’s no problem as he thinks John Laurinaitis is a turd and will like nothing more than making Teddy Long the permanent General Manager of both shows. Long says that Sheamus has a well-deserved night off and he can sit back and watch the show with them tonight. Sheamus gets a high five from Hornswoggle.
- Divas Tag Team Match: Divas Champion Beth Phoenix & Natalya def. Kharma & Tamina >> The four strongest Divas on the roster competed in this tag match and it was hard hitting. Tamina and Kharma didn’t make for a good team though as they’ve wrestled each other recently and Kharma isn’t about teammates or friends. That allowed the former “Divas of Destruction” to win after Beth Phoenix hit Tamina with the Glam Slam.
- Beth Phoenix and Natalya didn’t get a chance to celebrate their victory as Kharma grabbed the Divas Championship from the time keeper and brought it into the ring. She goes to get into Beth’s face but Natalya steps in front. Kharma drops her with a huge backfist! Beth Phoenix sneaks in a cheap shot to Kharma and follows it up with more shots in the corner. She delivers some shoulder thrusts into the corner as well before busting out a roaring elbow! The elbow forced Kharma to stumble and she fell through the second rope and to the outside. Beth Phoenix has gotten the best of the number one contender!
- Sheamus and Mark Henry are shown walking towards the arena on a split screen as a huge match is coming up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for this Monday’s Raw is shown. It’s the final Raw before WrestleMania XXVIII and it promises to be huge. John Cena got the best of The Rock last week and both men will be at Raw. What will happen next between them? Dolph Ziggler will compete in an Extreme Rules match and WWE Champion CM Punk returns to action to go one on one with Kane! Plus, Maria Menounos’ will face the Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix!
- Sheamus def. Mark Henry >> A hard hitting brawl to close the first hour as these two pulled no punches. Midway through the match Alberto Del Rio came down to the ring and tripped Sheamus. This led to Big Show coming out to even the odds and he leveled Del Rio with a huge WMD on the outside. Sheamus connected with a Brogue Kick that put down the former World Champion for the three.
- The WWE Universe celebrated with the “Celtic Warrior” and Big Show as Team Teddy gains a bit more momentum. The cameras go backstage where Daniel Bryan barges into Teddy Long’s office demanding to know why he was forced to compete tonight. Teddy Long advises that as the World Champion, he shouldn’t have an issue competing on any night. AJ goes to say something but Bryan cuts her off by telling her to shut up. Teddy tells him not to treat her like that and to get out of his office before he puts him in another match. Bryan is peeved but leaves with AJ.
- A graphic is shown for Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton which is the main event tonight. A video is shown of their early battles at the end of last year which started this feud.
- ===Commercial Break===
- The Prime Time Players’ theme song hits as the hottest tag team in the WWE comes down to the ring to a chorus of boos. They get in the ring and do the “millions of dollars” dance before speaking. Darren Young starts by saying that this past Monday on Raw, they beat The Usos again but this time, it was a number one contender’s match. According to him, AirBoom has been ducking them because they keep beating them in singles matches. Titus O’Neil now calls out the WWE Tag Team Champions. AirBoom obliges by coming out to the stage. Titus says they want their Tag Team Title shot and Kofi Kingston says that’s fine with them because they haven’t been ducking the Prime Time Players. Kofi says that AirBoom are fighting champions and they welcome all challenges. They begin to walk down to the ring but Young stops them by saying they don’t want the title shot tonight. They’re all about making “millions of dollars” and the big money is WrestleMania. Evan Bourne accepts and another match has been added to a stacked WrestleMania!
- A video package is shown of the Falls Count Anywhere match at the end of 2011 between Wade Barrett and Randy Orton, when Barrett tossed Orton down a flight of stairs, keeping “The Viper” out of action for a few weeks.
- ===Commercial Break===
- “Here to Show the World” hits as Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero come out to the ring. They get into the ring and await the arrival of Theodore Long’s selected opponent for him.
- Extreme Rules Match: Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero def. Ezekiel Jackson >> Theodore Long picked one of the biggest powerhouses on the Smackdown roster and Ziggler had some trouble with the former Intercontinental Champion. Jackson’s strength gave him an advantage at times, but Ziggler utilized the weapons in the match to give him the upper hand. Some steel chair shots to the back, a stiff hit from a cookie sheet and slamming the steel steps on Jackson were the big blows. Ziggler got the win after hitting a Zig Zag onto a steel chair.
- The WWE Universe booed loudly as Dolph Ziggler celebrated his victory and looks ready for Mick Foley in just over a week at WrestleMania.
- Another promo video for tonight’s main event is shown, focusing on Randy Orton’s return at the Royal Rumble; where he eliminated Wade Barrett and went on to win the whole thing.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for WrestleMania XXVIII is shown, which is just nine days away!
- Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre def. Christian & Sin Cara >> The Intercontinental Title and twelve man tag matches at WrestleMania collide in a solid tag team match here. Sin Cara continues to show vast improvement since his return from injury, while Rhodes and Christian once again sport some fun chemistry. After about seven minutes of tag action, McIntyre pinned Sin Cara with a school boy rollup.
- Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre quickly got out of the ring as Christian and Sin Cara looked on disappointed. One final video of the Wade Barrett/Randy Orton rivalry is shown and this one highlights Wade Barrett’s victory over Randy Orton at Elimination Chamber which got him into the World Heavyweight Title match at WrestleMania.
- Wade Barrett and Randy Orton are shown walking towards the arena on a split screen because the highly anticipated main event is up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A video is shown announcing a new member of the 2012 Hall of Fame Class. Already set to be inducted are Edge, Trish Stratus, Yokozuna, Owen Hart, Donald Trump and Ron Simmons. The seventh addition will be Mil Mascaras, one of the greatest Lucha Libre athletes of all time.
- Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett >> A great main event on Smackdown although it wasn’t the best encounter between these two. The fans were treated to a match with a lot of callbacks to previous bouts and plenty of reversals. Multiple near falls occurred as well and about midway through the contest, the World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan, made his way down to ringside. This distracted Orton, which allowed Barrett to pick up a near fall with a rollup. Barrett went for a huge forearm but Orton ducked it and connected with the RKO from out of nowhere. He covered and it was enough to keep Barrett down.
- As soon as Randy Orton stood up after the pin, Daniel Bryan snuck into the ring and chop blocked him. Bryan continued to hit Orton with stiff kicks and hooked in the LeBelle Lock! Orton refused to tap out but it was clear that he was in serious pain. Wade Barrett was now up and he broke the hold by kicking Bryan. He lifted Bryan up and planted him with Wasteland! Wade Barrett exited and backed up the ramp with a smile on his face as Smackdown closed.

Decent opening promo from Bryan, interesting interruption from Teddy Long to announce the match against Ted DiBiase. Obvious win, however, for Bryan against Ted DiBiase in the opening contest of the night. Confidence from Ziggler is nice, and I believe him. He probably will win tonight. Interesting tag team match with Beth Phoenix getting the win alongside Nattie as well as getting the upper hand after the match. I'm a little confused... Teddy Long said Sheamus could earn a night off, but now he faces Mark Henry? Surely this is a mistake. Haha. Good thing Smackdown is taped and can still be edited, right? Right? Anyway. I'll ignore it because it is you, Kev. Sheamus getting the win over Mark Henry is fine, obviously just building up for Team Teddy vs Team Johnny. The WWE Tag Team Championship match happening at WrestleMania is an interesting choice, but was kind of obvious. I wonder if you'll put it on the pre-show or anything. Obvious win here for Dolph Ziggler over Ezekiel Jackson, as Big Zigs needs all the momentum he can get going into WrestleMania against Mick Foley. Fine tag team match between Rhodes and McIntyre against Christian and Cara with the former getting the victory. Finally, the main event. Randy Orton getting the win over Wade Barrett is a fine choice. Works well with the post-match interaction with Barrett standing tall. A good episode of Smackdown... we're a week away from WrestleMania. Looking forward to it.

March 26th, 2012 | Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia
- The WWE Signature is shown, followed by the Raw opening video. Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome everyone to the final Raw before WrestleMania! In just six days, we will see the 28th edition of the Showcase of the Immortals! However, tonight we will see WWE Champion CM Punk take on Kane and The Rock and John Cena will come face to face one last time!
- Chris Jericho’s theme hits as the man who will challenge the Streak walks down to the ring to a chorus of boos. He slowly gets into the ring and begins to speak about this Sunday. Jericho says that ever since he’s talked about ending the Streak, people have doubted him and people haven’t believed it. They say that other Superstars have tried 19 times and come up short each time. They ask what makes Jericho think that he can do what Shawn Michaels, Edge, Triple H, Randy Orton and Kane couldn’t. The answer can be said in two simple reasons. The first is that he is better than all of the people who previously attempted to beat the Streak. He has beaten all of them in his career so comparing them to him is absurd. The second reason is what he did to the Undertaker last week. Jericho shows us the video of the beating he put on The Undertaker last Monday. After the video Jericho says that combining what he did last week with the damage Triple H laid on The Undertaker last year is going to be enough to do the seemingly impossible. The Undertaker is a shell of his former self and is no longer immortal. Jericho promises that the Streak will die this Sunday and history will be made.
- A short video package is shown of The Rocks’ return in 2011 and his subsequent disses of John Cena. This is followed by John Cena’s rebuttal the following week in a rap.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, we are taken to John Laurinaitis’ office. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan enters because John wanted to see him. John says that he is all about putting on the best possible show for the WWE Universe and the way to do that is to feature the World Heavyweight Champion on his show. Bryan protests because he has the biggest match of his career this Sunday. John says that he knows; which is why he’s going to have Wade Barrett compete as well. Randy Orton isn’t in the arena tonight but Bryan will have to work together with Barrett as they will team up to face the WWE Tag Team Champions, AirBoom. Bryan is upset and says he can’t work with someone who is trying to take his title, but John Laurinaitis says that he feels like the people of the WWE Universe will enjoy seeing this.
- Scott Stanford is standing by with John Cena, who gets a mixed reaction. Stanford asks how Cena is feeling knowing that he has one final face to face with The Rock before the big match. Cena says that for the first time in a long time, he has butterflies in his stomach. This match means the world to him and he promises to get right into The Rock’s face tonight.
- Eight Man Tag Team Match: Big Show, R-Truth, Sheamus & Ted Dibiase def. Brodus Clay, Alberto Del Rio & Mark Henry The Miz w/ Mason Ryan >> A final preview of the twelve man tag at WrestleMania opened tonight’s show. Most of the competitors in this Sunday’s match for control of both brands were involved and it was a good match. All hell broke loose near the end as all eight men got involved. They each hit their finish on someone in the final stretch. Del Rio locked in the Cross Armbar on Truth, but Dibiase dropped a fist on him. Dibiase got up only to be hit with a Skull Crushing Finale but the Miz turned right around into a Brogue Kick to end it.
- Theodore Long came down to the ring along with Santino Marella and Sin Cara as the entire Team Teddy celebrated in the ring. This could be a sign of what is to come on Sunday and Theodore Long could take full control.
- A second video of the history between The Rock and John Cena is shown, this one focusing on WrestleMania XXVII where The Rock hit Cena with a Rock Bottom, allowing The Miz to win and retain the WWE Championship.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Backstage, Maria Menounos is shown preparing for her match with Beth Phoenix tonight. She is with Kaitlyn and Kelly Kelly as they give her pointers.
- Dolph Ziggler’s theme hits as he comes to the ring with Vickie Guerrero. He gets in the ring and gets on the microphone. He promised the world that he would win some Extreme Rules matches to really show Mick Foley that he means business this Sunday. On Friday he defeated Ezekiel Jackson in an Extreme Rules match but tonight he’s going to face a legend in these kinds of matches just like Foley. He brings out his opponent and it turns out to be Terry Funk to a decent pop from the crowd.
- Extreme Rules Match: Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero def. Terry Funk >> Terry Funk is over 60 years old but he fought hard in this match. He made sure to try and use as many weapons as possible and he showed fight by kicking out of some of Dolph’s offense. Unfortunately for Terry, Dolph managed to defeat him by hitting a Fameasser onto a steel chair.
- The crowd booed as Dolph Ziggler jumped to his feet and shouted about how good he is. He looks into the camera and shouts “that was for you Foley” as the cameras cut backstage.
- WWE Champion CM Punk is shown walking towards the arena. He makes his return to in-ring action after Triple H assaulted him weeks ago, next.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for Smackdown is shown. It informs the WWE Universe that this week’s Smackdown will have exclusive looks at WrestleMania Axxess plus a one on one contest between Randy Orton and the Intercontinental Champion, Cody Rhodes!
- A video package of the rivalry between Triple H and CM Punk is shown as it leads to their big time battle at WrestleMania this Sunday.
- Non-Title Match: WWE Champion CM Punk def. Kane w/ Eve >> A great first hour main event here as Kane and CM Punk went at it. Eve was at ringside with Kane after he abducted her two weeks ago and for some reason, she seems smitten with Kane. After about ten minutes of action, Punk defeated Kane with a Go to Sleep.
- The WWE Universe celebrated with CM Punk as he grabbed a microphone after his victory. CM Punk says that he knows Triple H isn’t in the arena tonight but this Sunday he is going to hurt the COO of this company. Not only has Triple H attacked him multiple times but last week he got his wife, Stephanie McMahon involved when she hit him with a cheap shot. CM Punk says that he will retain the WWE Title and he will prove to Triple H that he is the Best in the World!
- ===Commercial Break===
- When the break is over, the cameras see Kane and Eve getting ready to leave the ring when the theme of Zack Ryder hit to a huge pop. The United States Champion came out to the stage with a microphone. Ryder speaks, saying that Kane knows how he feels about him but he’s here to find out what’s up with Eve. He was worried sick when she was taken two weeks ago and while in the hospital, all he did was try and get in touch with her. Now, all of a sudden, she’s just with Kane and he wants to know why. Eve gets a microphone and responds by saying that she sees things clearly know. After spending time with Kane, she’s come to realize that he’s a real man and that’s something Zack could never be. He’s proven it every time Kane has beaten him up and it will happen again at WrestleMania. Zack is clearly hurt by this betrayal as he drops the microphone and has a stunned look on his face. It changes to an angry look as he starts to walk to the ring. Kane exits and meets him halfway as they start to brawl on the ramp. Kane gets him to the ground but Ryder delivers a low blow to stop Kane. Officials rush down to pull Ryder and Kane apart, although they really struggle with Kane.
- The announce team takes us to the announcement of the final member of the 2012 Hall of Fame class. Joining Edge, Trish Stratus, Yokozuna, Owen Hart, Ron Simmons, Donald Trump and Mil Mascaras is none other than former two time WWE Champion, Bob Backlund!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, another Rock/Cena video is shown, this one of their promo the night after WrestleMania XXVII where they agreed on the match for WrestleMania XXVIII.
- Wade Barrett is shown preparing for the main event when Daniel Bryan bursts into his locker room. Bryan says that he doesn’t like the idea of them teaming up any more than Wade does, but if Wade follows Bryan’s every word, they’ll be okay. Wade smirks and says that he will call the shots out there just like he did in Nexus. Bryan tells him that Nexus was a failure and Wade responds that he kicked him out of it. Bryan says he helped beat them at SummerSlam in 2010 but Wade responds that he beat him at SummerSlam last year. Bryan gets upset and storms off.
- Non-Title Divas Match: Maria Menounos def. Divas Champion Beth Phoenix >> Beth Phoenix did her best to carry Maria Menounos and the match wasn’t bad. It was kept rather short and Kharma came down to ringside at one point. Her distraction allowed Maria to roll up Beth Phoenix and get the shocking upset.
- The WWE Universe cheered as Maria Menounos celebrated her stunning win! She jumped around and got a microphone from the ring announcer. Maria, out of breath, announced that she will be the Special Guest Referee for the Divas Championship match at WrestleMania. Beth Phoenix is furious at this news while Kharma does her trademark laugh.
- A video of The Rock and John Cena teaming up at Survivor Series last year is shown, ending when The Rock left Cena laid out after a Rock Bottom.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for WrestleMania XXVIII is shown, airing this Sunday on Pay-Per-View.
- Non-Title Match: WWE Tag Team Champions AirBoom def. Wade Barrett & World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan w/ AJ Lee via countout >> A solid main event ended in a not so surprising manner. Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan argued and were at each other’s throats throughout, but still were a tough bout for the Tag Team Champions. However, a hard blind tag from Bryan pissed off Barrett, who knocked him off the apron with a forearm shot. Barrett went outside and the two men traded shots while the referee counted them out.
- Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan continued to brawl on the outside while AirBoom looked on and were handed their Tag Team Titles. The Prime Time Players rushed down to the ring and took out the Champions with their respective finishers, the Gut Check and the Clash of the Titus. They raised the WWE Tag Team Titles high in the air before the cameras catch Bryan toss Barrett into the announce table and leave with his belt.
- A final video of The Rock and John Cena is shown, focusing on the past few weeks between the two of them.
- ===Commercial Break===
- The theme of John Cena hits as he comes down to the ring to a mixed reaction. Cena gets in the ring and allows the crowd to do their “Let’s Go Cena! Cena Sucks” chants before beginning to speak. John Cena says that it was in this very city last year where The Rock made everything between them serious when he cost him the WWE Title in the main event of WrestleMania. At first they were just trash talking and while it wasn’t fun and games, it wasn’t to the point that it is at now. Before he goes further though, he came here to be face to face with the Rock so he calls him out. The Rock obliges to a massive pop and gets in the ring. The Rock does his thing and tells John Cena that he wants him to finish. Cena says that for the past year he’s struggled with the thought of losing at WrestleMania. Then after they made the match for this Sunday, he wanted to win the WWE Title and have the match be for the title; however, with the lingering sting of WrestleMania 27 in his mind, he dropped the belt to both CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio. He has a one track mind right now and it is focused solely on beating the Rock’s ass at WrestleMania. Cena says this with emphasis and gets right into The Rock’s face. The Rock slowly raises the microphone and tells Cena that he likes the passion. He likes that Cena is desperate and he likes that Cena is taking this match so seriously because it’s the same thing he is doing. The Rock says that in 2003 he said that he did it all. He had been the WWE Champion numerous times; he won the Intercontinental Title and the Tag Team Titles. He won a Royal Rumble and he defeated two of the WWE’s biggest Icons at WrestleMania in Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. He now has something else to do and that’s to beat this era’s Icon and that is John Cena. He refuses to lose to some fruity pebble wearing jabroni, and at that point, Cena smacks the microphone out of his hand. Cena says that he’s had enough with the jokes and the games. He left him out cold with an AA last week and he will do it again tonight and at WrestleMania. The Rock picks up his microphone, tells Cena to never do that again and asks him what he wants to do now. Cena goes to respond but is met with a hearty “It doesn’t matter!” This infuriates Cena who hits the Rock and all hell breaks loose. The Rock and Cena trade right hands until Rock gets the upper hand and goes for a Rock Bottom. Cena elbows out of it and hits an AA! Cena looks furious as he goes outside and grabs a steel chair. The announcers say that Cena may still be “embracing the hate.” Cena waits for Rock to get up as the crowd boos before Cena realizes what he’s about to do. He looks at the chair and drops it before leaving the ring. John Cena backs up the ramp as The Rock slowly gets to his feet at the end of Raw.

Solid opening promo to kick off Raw with Chris Jericho talking about beating the streak this Sunday... would have liked an appearance from The Undertaker here, but I understand with Jericho destroying him last week why he wouldn't show up. Undertaker will more than likely win anyway. Interesting choice for a match later on with AirBoom versus Bryan and Barrett. Solid opening contest to build up for the Team Johnny vs Team Teddy match with a little preview, I'm fine with Team Theodore Long winning. I'll assume Team Johnathon wins on Smackdown to get some revenge and momentum in their favor. Wow, Terry Funk huh? Interesting decision. I like it... and an obvious victory for Ziggler here. We'll see what happens this Sunday. Good victory for CM Punk defeating Kane here in the first hour main event, I do anticipate Punk will retain the belt over Hunter at 'Mania. Good little promo between Ryder and Kane and a nice brawl to set things up heading into this Sunday. No surprise here with Kharma costing Beth Phoenix the match against Menounos, and I fully expect Kharma to beat Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania and become the new Diva's Champion. AirBoom getting the win, albeit via countout, is fine. Barrett and Bryan were obviously never going to coexist. The Prime Time Players attacking AirBoom comes as no surprise either, although I actually have no idea who will be the champions after Mania... I'll take a guess and say AirBoom will stay champs (for now). A good promo to conclude the show between Rock and Cena, definitely setting the stage up for this Sunday and I am looking forward to it. I do hope you go with Cena winning and don't go down the route of Rock beating him and having a rematch. I think one was enough. Anyway, a good Raw going into WrestleMania... looking forward to it.

WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 26th March 2012...It's been time, and in that time you have built quite a solid line-up for WrestleMania XXVIII. Chris Jericho with the opening promo was decent, promoting his upcoming match with the Undertaker. It should be an awesome match, and it correlates ideally to what his returning vignettes hinted at back in December. But I do doubt that Jericho will end the Streak of the Undertaker. Nice little touch with the little flashbacks to the Rock and John Cena's history, leading up to the final segment and the main event at WrestleMania. Daniel Bryan orders to John Laurinaitis, bit strange. A decent tag team main event in place for later tonight - but it was scary reading that Air Boom were main eventing the final RAW before WrestleMania. I'd have instead titled that Cena and Rock were going to have a face off. In our opening contest, a big eight-man tag team match with the Big Show, R-Truth, Sheamus and Ted Dibiase reigning victorious over Brodus Clay, Alberto Del Rio, Mark Henry and the Miz. A combination of the guys in the General Manager vs General Manager tag team match coming on Sunday, which should be a fun one. And hopefully not as rushed as the real life one. Terry Funk would never pass the Wellness Policy in 2012, but then again neither would Mick Foley. Dolph Ziggler defeating Terry Funk made sense, but I doubt he's losing to Foley at WrestleMania. CM Punk defeating Kane was a pretty big first-hour main event and should have main evented over that tag team match perhaps. Nonetheless, a nice prep for CM Punk as WWE Champion leading into Sunday where he faces Triple H. I'm excited for that one and hoping that Punk is victorious. Hunter's been the WWE Champion that many times, I wouldn't care to see it again, not even as a heel. It sucks that Kane has been brought into the storyline with Eve and Zack Ryder, but I suppose Ryder is peaking at the top of his push here, so nevermind. A nice brawl, but I do hope that Kane stands victorious at WrestleMania. The 2012 Hall of Fame class looks okay, but I'm not sure about Owen Hart getting in. I'll let it slide. Yokozuna, wasn't he already inducted? Nevermind, not a bad induction addition there. Not a bad line-up at all. Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan's meeting backstage set the dissension up for our main event. Up next, Maria Menounos defeating Beth Phoenix...okay. Realistic, I guess. Kharma still being a part of the WWE surprised me most. Maria just beat the WWE Divas Champion and she's just the referee for the WrestleMania match? Whatever works, I guess. Air Boom beating Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan was nice, leading to the count out. I could have probably gone without the Prime Time Players' involvement and just let that feud expand on SmackDown, but this works too as your aim is to get all of the matches at WrestleMania hyped in a two hour span. And lastly, a solid promo setting up the Rock and John Cena. I'm interested in which way you go with Cena and Rock, because if Rock wins I assume we'll be seeing the rematch at WrestleMania XXIX...I think. Not a bad show, it promoted everything at WrestleMania ideally.

Jericho's promo was decent, I doubt he's going to win but I think he may force Undertaker to end his career by beating him down worse than HHH did at WM27. With how much momentum Teddy Long's team has, I think John Laurinaitis's team will end up coming out on top at WrestleMania as a way to make him look good by winning with very little momentum. Putting Ziggler against Funk was very interesting, I say it was a good idea doing putting Ziggler against a man who's faced and teamed with Foley before, and has had experience in Extreme Rules matches since Funk was in ECW. Eve going with Kane and leaving Ryder was interesting as well, with that happening the US title match can go either way, Ryder could use his anger to help him win, or have his anger cost him the match. I've enjoyed the build for the World Heavyweight title match so far but with AJ dating Bryan I thought she would of come between Barrett and Bryan to maybe, get them on the same page for their tag team match. I think since AJ is with Bryan, maybe give her some involvement in the build towards his WrestleMania match. I thought Cena was turning heel until he dropped the chair, I'm predicting that we will see a very aggressive Cena in is match against The Rock at WrestleMania 28. The show was good overall for it being the last before WrestleMania 28.

April 1st, 2012 | Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida
The WWE Signature is shown followed by a camera pan over the hot crowd at Sun Life Stadium. Justin Roberts welcomed recording artist Adele, who performed a boisterous version of “America The Beautiful” for the live audience. A video package then cuts in showing big moments in WrestleMania history before showing short buildups of the WWE and World Heavyweight Title matches. It then shows Chris Jericho’s rivalry with The Undertaker before finally ending with clips of John Cena and The Rock. Tonight truly is “Once in a Lifetime” for two of the biggest stars in the history of the industry.
Pyro shoots off as Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Josh Matthews introduce the crowd to WrestleMania! The camera pans over this jam packed house of what is sure to be a record crowd as “Good Feeling” by Flo-Rida plays. They hype up the quadruple main event tonight and inform the WWE Universe that, just like last year, everything is going to get started with the World Heavyweight Championship!
World Heavyweight Championship Daniel Bryan [c] w/ AJ Lee vs. Randy Orton vs. Wade BarrettThe crowd was absolutely pumped for this but once the bell rang, things got slowed as Daniel Bryan stopped everything for a good luck kiss from AJ Lee. Randy Orton went straight after Bryan after this and hit him with some shots in the corner. Wade Barrett had no problem sitting back and allowing this to happen. Orton noticed this and went after Barrett, only to be met with a clothesline. Barrett focused on the Champion as he fired away with some crushing shots to the ribcage before hitting some knee lifts. He turned to Orton who connected with a vicious European uppercut before giving one to Bryan as well. Orton went for the cover but only got a near fall. Orton went to Barrett and put him in a headlock which didn’t last long as Bryan kicked him twice in the back. Bryan hit him with a European uppercut of his own before hitting Barrett with a flying elbow, knocking him to the outside. Bryan grabbed Orton and locked him into a surfboard but Orton wouldn’t tap. Bryan let go of the hold and saw Barrett getting up. He went for a suicide dive but Barrett caught him with a vicious mid-air forearm! Barrett picked him up and guillotined him on the rail before going back into the ring. He whipped Orton off the ropes and hit a big boot for a near fall. Barrett lifted Orton and connected with a backbreaker for another near fall. He sent Orton off the ropes again and went for a clothesline but Orton ducks and follows with a Lou Thez press. He then hits a jumping knee drop for two. Bryan got up to the apron but was met with a kick from Orton and The Viper’s signature DDT. He covered but Barrett broke up the count. Orton now went to work on Wade, hitting his signature headlock backbreaker and powerslam. He began to pound the mat as the crowd knew he was setting up for the RKO. As he got up for up, Bryan grabbed him from behind and hit a bridging German suplex but only got a two count. Bryan went to send Orton into the corner, but Orton reversed it and Bryan back flipped off the top. Before he could do anything though, he ran into the Winds of Change from Barrett for another near fall. Orton got hoisted up for the Wasteland but he wriggled out of it and hit an RKO from out of nowhere! All three men were down though as the crowd urged Orton to make the cover. He slowly crawled over and placed an arm over Wade but at the two count, Bryan grabbed him and latched on the LeBelle Lock! Orton was screaming in pain as Bryan pulled back as hard as he could. Barrett broke the hold and kept the match alive. Again, all three men were slow to their feet but Bryan was up first. He went to grab Orton, but Orton went for an RKO. Bryan shoved the Apex Predator off though and right into the Winds of Change from Barrett! Bryan quickly ran to Barrett and grabbed his arm, attempting to lock in the LeBelle Lock. They struggled for a bit until Barrett used his strength to lift Bryan onto his shoulders before planting him with the Wasteland! He covered and got the three just before Orton could make the save. Winner and New World Heavyweight Champion: Wade Barrett [14:27]The WWE Universe booed heavily as Wade Barrett made good on his promise to become the World Heavyweight Champion. For the fifth straight year, the winner of the Royal Rumble has failed to win at WrestleMania. Randy Orton rolled out of the ring and watched Barrett celebrate with a look of disgust on his face, while Daniel Bryan was being tended to by AJ Lee. Wade Barrett was handed the belt and raised it high in the air as the “Barrett Barrage” continues to run through the WWE.In the back, John Laurinaitis is shown giving a speech to his team. He promises them that if they can pull out the wing tonight, he will reward them handsomely over the coming weeks as General Manager of both Raw and Smackdown.
WWE Tag Team Championship AirBoom [c] vs. The Prime Time Players
Kofi Kingston and Darren Young started out, as things got off to a fast start. They traded two sets of arm drags before Young locked in an armbar. Kingston would fight out of it and send Young into the corner. He ran in and leapt to the top where he connected with ten punches. Kingston tagged in Bourne, who springboarded into the ring with a splash for a near fall. Bourne picked up Young and put him in a headlock but Young sent him off the ropes and caught him with a nice overhead belly to belly suplex for a near fall. He placed Bourne in the corner and chopped him a few times, drawing “woos” from the WWE Universe. He tagged in Titus O’Neil who hit a short arm clothesline. The Prime Time Players now used quick tags and cut the ring in half as they worked over Bourne. He was hit with a backbreaker, neckbreaker, big boot and elbow drop but stayed alive. Young hit a stiff tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and held Bourne on his knee, pressing down on his neck and legs. Kingston began to clap to rally the crowd as they joined in. Bourne would break the hold with a kick to the head. Young went to pick Bourne up, but was met with an enziguri followed by a flying headscissors. Bourne crawled to Kingston and made the hot tag. Kingston came in on fire, hitting cross body blocks, dropkicks and a DDT. He had Young down and he hit the Boom Drop before dragging Young to the corner and tagging in Bourne. Kingston nailed a suicide dive onto Titus O’Neil on the outside, while Bourne hit AirBourne for the three. Winners and Still WWE Tag Team Champions: AirBoom [5:06]
Kofi Kingston got back into the ring with the WWE Tag Team Titles as he handed one to Evan Bourne. The WWE Universe cheered as their favorite tag team has retained the gold and sent back the challenge of the Prime Time Players on the biggest stage of them all.In the back, Matt Striker is standing by with Dolph Ziggler. He asks Dolph for his feelings heading into a big match with Mick Foley tonight. Dolph says that his feelings are the same as they have been for the past few weeks. He needs to beat Mick Foley and get him out of his head. He knows that once he beats Mick, he can refocus himself on becoming the WWE Champion because he is so sick of being so sick, yet having no gold to show for it. Tonight, he will show the world exactly why he’s so damn good.A video package is now shown of the history between Zack Ryder and Kane. It shows how Kane took out Ryder as a ploy to upset Ryder’s friend, John Cena. Ryder returned and didn’t appreciate being used as a pawn in Kane’s sick game so he came back at Kane. He challenged him to a match at WrestleMania for the United States Title. Kane accepted but things took a turn for the worse after. Kane abducted Ryder’s girlfriend Eve before throwing Ryder through a glass window. The following week, Eve was now suddenly smitten with Kane. She called out Ryder’s manhood and will be in Kane’s corner tonight, which is going to weigh heavily on the mind of the United States Champion for sure.
United States Championship Zack Ryder [c] vs. Kane w/ Eve The crowd was loud for this as they were seemingly one hundred percent behind the United States Champion. Zack Ryder took a glance at Eve but as soon as the bell rang, he charged at the Big Red Machine. Ryder backed Kane into the corner with some elbow shots. Kane took a big swing but Ryder ducked it and continued to level Kane. He backed up before running in to hit a forearm, but Kane hit him with a throat thrust in mid-air. Kane lifted Ryder before planting him with a powerslam. He picked up Ryder again but this time he dropped him with snake eyes and Ryder rolled to the outside. The referee begins to count as Ryder gets up and Kane climbs to the top. He nails a flying clothesline to the outside, which managed to get a pop from the crowd. Kane whipped Ryder into the announce table before hitting another throat thrust. He broke the count and went back to Ryder, but was met with a boot. Ryder smashed Kane’s face into the announce table and rolled him back into the ring. He climbed to the top and went for a dropkick but Kane dodged it and Ryder crashed to the mat with a thud. Kane put Ryder into a nerve hold to wear down the Champion. The crowd began to get louder as Ryder rallied and got to his feet. He elbowed Kane in the stomach to break the hold and ran off the ropes, but was caught with a big boot. Kane covered but Ryder managed to get a shoulder up. Kane lifted Ryder and planted him with a sidewalk slam but again only for a two. He sent Ryder into the corner and charged at him but Ryder got his knees up, stunning the big man. Ryder then sent Kane into the corner and clotheslined him. Kane fell to a seated position and the crowd roared as they knew what was coming next. They went along with Ryder shouting “Woo Woo Woo” before he connected with the Broski Boot! Ryder now sized up Kane for the Rough Ryder, but Eve got on the apron. This distracted Ryder as she seemed smitten with him and brought him in for a kiss only to slap him! The slap turned Ryder towards Kane, who grabbed him for the Chokeslam. Ryder kicked him to break it and hit a swinging neck breaker. He then climbed to the top and, as Kane got to his feet, leapt off and hit the biggest Rough Ryder in history! He covered and got the victory. Winner and Still United States Champion: Zack Ryder [7:34]Zack Ryder was handed the United States Titles to one of the loudest pops of the night as he raised it high in the air. Eve was wrong about Ryder tonight as he defeated the monster known as Kane. Ryder left up the ramp after fist pumping with over 70,000 fans. Eve was tending to Kane, who was clearly furious. He shouted at Eve as she pleaded with him before he walked off, leaving her upset in the ring and alone.
Team Theodore Long is now shown as Teddy is giving them a motivational speech just like John Laurinaitis earlier. He doesn’t promise them anything, he just motivates and says that nobody wants John Laurinaitis having any more power than he currently does.
The history between Dolph Ziggler and Mick Foley is now shown. It starts with Ziggler confronting Foley on Raw in January. It shows Foley enter the Royal Rumble, only to be eliminated by Ziggler. Foley then tosses out Ziggler. Ziggler was now furious at this and blamed Foley for his inability to focus enough to become WWE Champion and ruining his chance to win the Rumble and headline WrestleMania. Dolph challenged Foley, who didn’t accept until Dolph invaded Mick’s home and attacked him in front of his wife and children. Foley accepted the match but only under Extreme Rules. Ziggler won two Extreme Rules matches over the past week, including one over Mick’s longtime friend, Terry Funk.
Extreme Rules Dolph Ziggler vs. Mick Foley
Dolph Ziggler comes to the stage with Vickie Guerrero, but sends her to the back because this is about to be physical. Mick Foley is dressed in his normal flannel attire however Ziggler is in his WWE Shop shirt and jeans. Once the bell rings, things begin with a fist fight. Things quickly escalate when Foley backs Ziggler onto the ropes and clotheslines him to the outside. Foley has the crowd roaring as he goes under the ring and brings out a trash can full of weapons. Before he can use one, Dolph clubs him in the back and follows with some knife edge chops as Foley is leaning on the apron. Dolph backs up and flies in with a stinger splash to a nice pop from the crowd. He now goes for the weapons and pulls out a kendo stick. He swings, but Mick ducks and tackles him into the announce table. Mick now grabs his own kendo stick and nails Dolph in the ribcage. He does it again before hitting a Russian leg sweep with it. Foley is not interested in going for a cover as he picks up Dolph and places him on the announce table. Foley turns and does his “bang bang” taunt but when he turns back, Dolph is up and hits a double axe handle. He rolls Foley back into the ring, gets a ladder from under the ring and brings it in along with a chair. Dolph lays the ladder down and slams Foley onto it. He hits a high jumping elbow drop and covers for a near fall. Dolph places the ladder standing in the corner, but not open. He climbs to the top and falls forward with the ladder, but Mick moves and Dolph crashes with it. Foley picks up the ladder and smashes it into Dolph’s ribs. Foley goes outside and gets a table to a huge ovation. He puts it in the ring and grabs the steel chair. Mick waits for Dolph to get up and he hits him in the gut, followed by a loud shot to the back. Mick drags Dolph into the corner and goes to run into him with the chair, but Dolph moves. Both men are down and begin to get up around the same time. Mick grabs the chair on his way up but when he gets to his feet, Dolph superkicks the chair into his face! He covers Foley but Mick somehow gets his shoulder up. Dolph is not happy about this as he sets up the table. He lays Foley on the table, with his head dangling off of it. He goes for a Fameasser but Foley moves. Mick hits the double arm DDT and goes for the pin but Dolph kicks out. Mick throws Dolph to the outside and clears off the announce table. He stands with Dolph on it and looks for another double arm DDT. Dolph wriggles free and hits another superkick! Foley doesn’t fall but nearly does before hunching over forward. Dolph gets on the guardrail and jumps off, connecting with a Fameasser through the announce table! The crowd is stunned as both men are hurt but Dolph gets up first. He rolls Mick into the ring slowly and covers but again Mick defies logic and kicks out! Dolph is fuming now as he waits for Mick to get up. He stalks him, leaving the table in between them, and when Mick is up, Dolph connects with a Zig Zag through the table to finally get the win. Winner: Dolph Ziggler [12:19]
Dolph Ziggler, beaten and battered, has come through at the Granddaddy of them all. He gets to his knees and celebrates the victory as he has defeated the Hardcore Legend and put Mick Foley in his rearview mirror.A video package is shown of the Hall of Fame ceremony last night. The Hall of Fame inductees are brought to the stage as Trish Stratus, The Usos representing Yokozuna, Bret Hart representing Owen, Ron Simmons, Bob Backlund, Donald Trump and Mil Mascaras get ovations from the crowd. Edge’s theme hits as the “Rated R Superstar” comes out next to a thunderous ovation. Highlights of WrestleMania Axxess are now shown before the following contest.
Team Theodore Long vs. Team John Laurinaitis Big Show, Sin Cara, Ted Dibiase, Santino Marella, R-Truth & Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio, David Otunga, The Miz, Mark Henry, Brodus Clay & Drew McIntyre
Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus kick things off in a fun way. They went back and forth for a bit with Sheamus pulling ahead after hitting his new move, White Noise. It was only good enough for a near fall before he tagged in Sin Cara. Cara has always looked best in the ring when against people who know his style and Del Rio is one of those guys. Sin Cara hit a Northern lights suplex; some arm drags and then hit an enziguri that knocked Del Rio to the outside. Sin Cara went for a springboard moonsault but Mark Henry got off the apron and caught him before planting him with a huge slam. Del Rio rolled Cara back into the ring and tagged in Drew McIntyre. McIntyre worked over Cara’s neck and hit him with a big boot. He set up for the Future Shock but Santino Marella snuck in and nailed him with Cobra! That got a nice pop from the crowd as Santino got back onto the apron. Cara crawled over and made a tag to Big Show, while McIntyre tagged in Brodus Clay. The crowd buzzed as they saw this face off at the Royal Rumble and it was good. Clay struck first, hitting several shots to Show’s face before Show grasped him by the throat. Clay countered by grabbing Show in the G-Grip (Tongan death grip). A stalemate occurred until McIntyre snuck in and hit Show with a chop block. McIntyre was met with a hurricanrana by Sin Cara on the outside. Clay bounced off the ropes and hit the Fall of Humanity for a near fall as Show is the first person to kick out of that move. Clay tags in Henry, who immediately goes for a splash but Show moves and tags in R-Truth. Truth comes in on fire hitting multiple moves off the ropes and nearly taking down Henry. He then hits the Lie Detector but Henry was able to power out of the pin attempt. Truth goes for the Lil’ Jimmy but Henry shoves him off and onto the mat. Henry tags in The Miz, who is excited at the chance to beat on a downed R-Truth. He stomps on him a few times before sending him into the corner and hitting his signature clothesline. He then hits a snap DDT but the count is broken up. Miz argues with Sheamus for breaking the cover, which allows Truth to get up and nail a big scissors kick! The crowd is pumped as Truth makes the hot tag to Ted Dibiase, while Miz tags David Otunga. Dibiase hits Otunga with two high knees and his rebound clothesline as the crowd roars. Dibiase calls for the finish but John Laurinaitis gets on the apron. Dibiase shouts for him to get down as Teddy Long goes around the ring and yanks Laurinaitis down. He then levels him with a right hand! Dibiase hits Otunga with Dream Street and all hell breaks loose. McIntyre comes in and hits Dibiase with the Future Shock, then Truth hits him with Lil’ Jimmy, followed by The Miz hitting him with Skull Crushing Finale. Miz was then hit with the Cobra, before Santino was planted with the World’s Strongest Slam. Henry turned around right into the WMD only for Show to be hit with the Fall of Humanity. Sheamus entered and blasted Clay with the Brogue Kick. While everyone has rolled to the outside after being dropped, Otunga made a tag to Del Rio, who rushed in and hit Sheamus with a low blow behind the referee’s back. Sin Cara leapt off the top but Del Rio caught him with an uppercut. Dibiase was now up after all of this, only for Del Rio to connect with a very loud step up enziguri that knocked him out. Del Rio covered and picked up the win. Winners: Team John Laurinaitis [10:40]
The WWE Universe booed loudly as Team Laurinaitis celebrated and they would be stuck with John Laurinaitis on Mondays and Fridays. Laurinaitis entered to celebrate with them while holding his jaw as Theodore Long looked on sadly from the outside. Laurinaitis grabbed a microphone and told Long that since he’s in control now, “You’re fired!” Long walked away with his head down as the celebration continued.
Backstage, Scott Stanford is standing by with the Intercontinental Champion, Cody Rhodes. He asks for his thoughts going into the upcoming match. Cody says that he has revitalized the Intercontinental Title in a way that former champions like Christian never could do which is why Christian is so jealous. Cody says that it is time for his WrestleMania moment and Christian is just in the way.
Intercontinental ChampionshipCody Rhodes [c] vs. ChristianA collar and elbow tie up starts which Cody Rhodes turns into a headlock. Christian sends him off the ropes but comes back with a shoulder block that plants the Champion. He runs off the ropes, steps over Cody, Cody goes for a leap frog, but Christian catches him with an inverted atomic drop. He then hits an uppercut that backs Cody into the corner. Christian delivers some knife edge chops before attempting to whip him into the opposite corner. Cody reverses it, sending Christian into the corner. Cody runs in, but Christian moves and hits his trademark kick. Christian climbs to the top and hits a diving European uppercut for a near fall. Christian drags Cody and drapes him on the second rope before standing on his back and pushing him down. Christian now begins to clap as he seems to be setting up for the Killswitch. He goes for it but Cody blocks it and hits a Russian leg sweep. Cody drops a knee across the throat of the challenger for a near fall. Cody picks up Christian and hits a swift DDT but again only gets a near fall. He sends Christian into the corner and runs in, but again Christian moves and Cody hits the turnbuckle sternum first. Christian goes to grab him but Cody elbows him, climbs to the top and nails a gorgeous moonsault for a very close near fall. They get up around the same time and Cody goes for the Beautiful Disaster, but Christian catches him with a mid-air Powerbomb that is slightly botched. Christian climbs to the top and connects with a frog splash but he’s too hurt to cover instantly. When he does pin, Cody kicks out. Christian lifts Cody, but is met with an uppercut. Cody again goes for the Beautiful Disaster, but again Christian counters, this time with a huge Spear! Christian has scouted Cody very well as he gets the cover quickly this time, but Cody, well aware of his ring presence, gets his foot on the bottom rope. Christian can’t believe he made this mistake as he now calls for the Killswitch once again but Cody kicks him in the gut. Cody lifts him and drops him with a muscle buster, something Cody rarely busts out. He covers but Christian surprises this time by getting a shoulder up. The Champion now picks Christian up for the Alabama Slam, but Christian reverses it into a rollup for a near fall. They get up in unison and Christian hits suplex. Christian now climbs to the second rope, waiting for Cody to get up. Once he goes, Christian leaps and does a sunset flip, which is how he beat Cody on Smackdown a few weeks ago, but this time Cody can kick out. Christian must be wondering what he has to do to win as he calls for the Killswitch for a third time. He hooks Cody as he gets up and turns for it, but Cody wriggles free and hits the Cross Rhodes! He covers and is able to secure the victory!Winner and Still Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes [12:02]
Cody Rhodes is handed the Intercontinental Title as he celebrates to a chorus of boos from audience. He shouts that he is the best Intercontinental Champion of all time as the camera cuts away.
A promo plays advertising WWE NXT on ION Television this Wednesday. Watch the WWE’s future, now!
Highlights of the history of the Streak are shown, running down all 19 of the Undertaker’s WrestleMania victories. It then shows Chris Jericho’s return at the beginning of the year, his challenge of the Undertaker and his assault on The Undertaker a few weeks back. The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho patiently waits in the ring while The Undertaker gets one of his awesome WrestleMania entrances. As the bell sounds, Undertaker sizes up Jericho and backs him into a corner. He takes a swing, but Jericho ducks and kicks him a few times in the knee. He follows up with some loud chops, but Undertaker grabs him by the throat and tosses him into the corner before unleashing a flurry of shots to the ribs. Undertaker ends it with a big throat thrust and then sends Jericho into the opposite corner. He runs in for a big boot, but Jericho moves and he crashed. Jericho uses this time to begin working on the leg. He drives his elbow into it twice before locking into a hold. Undertaker doesn’t tap and Jericho lets go. He picks up Undertaker and sends him off the ropes to hit a big back elbow. Jericho drags Undertaker towards the ropes and goes to the outside. With Undertaker’s head resting on the apron, Jericho drives the point of the elbow into his throat. He gets back in the ring and stomps on the Deadman. Undertaker gets up to his knees, but is met with a dropkick. Jericho covers for a near fall and then rolls Undertaker to the outside. As Undertaker gets up, he meets him with a baseball and instructs the referee to begin his count. Jericho is trying to end the streak in any way he can. Undertaker is up at the count of 6, so Jericho goes for a springboard plancha, but Undertaker catches him and drives him back first into the turnbuckle. Undertaker than gives him snake eyes onto the guardrail before rolling him back into the ring. He hits a guillotine leg drop while Jericho’s head is on the apron. Undertaker lifts Jericho and grabs his wrist, going for Old School. Undertaker climbs and walks the rope, but as he comes down for the chop, Jericho catches him with a big Codebreaker! Jericho covers but Undertaker gets his foot on the ropes and Jericho is clearly frustrated. Jericho again rolls Undertaker outside and demands that the referee count. This time, Undertaker is down for longer, but gets back in at the count of 9. Jericho instantly goes on the offensive, stomping away on Undertaker before hitting the Lionsault for a near fall. He goes to lock on the Walls of Jericho but Undertaker kicks him off and gets to his feet. Jericho charges but Undertaker grabs him by the throat and hits a chokeslam. He covers but also gets just a near fall. He’s up and does the throat cut sign. He picks up Jericho for the Tombstone, but Jericho wriggles out and gets behind Undertaker. He turns to Jericho and is met with another Codebreaker. Jericho takes longer than he wants to cover and that allows Undertaker to kick out. Jericho can’t believe this as he now puts on the Walls of Jericho. Undertaker struggles and eventually reaches the ropes. Jericho goes for another Lionsault but Undertaker moves; Jericho lands on his feet and runs at Undertaker but is met with a throat thrust. Undertaker kicks him in the stomach and hits the Last Ride! He covers but Jericho somehow manages to get a shoulder up. Both men are slow to their feet but Undertaker hits another Snake Eyes on Jericho, before running off the ropes and attempting a big boot. Jericho ducks it, comes off the ropes and hits a flying forearm. He goes for the Walls of Jericho again, but Undertaker kicks him off again. He then bounces off the ropes and hits a flying clothesline. Undertaker goes to pick up Jericho, but is pulled into a small package for an incredibly close two count. They get up at the same time and Jericho connects with a third Codebreaker! Once again though, Undertaker startles everyone by kicking out. Jericho cannot believe it as he scoots back into the corner with a shocked look. Undertaker slowly begins to get up and he looks rough. Jericho regains some confidence and signals for the end. He trips up Undertaker and goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Undertaker reverses it into the Hell’s Gate submission! Jericho reaches for the ropes and comes very close but he can’t seem to grab them. Slowly but surely, Jericho loses life and passes out as the referee calls for the bell. Winner: The Undertaker [30:09]The Undertaker and Chris Jericho lay on the mat as the WWE Universe celebrates The Undertaker’s legendary streak reaching 20-0. Jericho proved to be one of the toughest challenges to the streak but he ultimately fell short. The Undertaker gets to his feet and does his signature pose as 20-0 is shown all over the arena.
A promo is shown announcing that WrestleMania XXIX will take place next year from brand new MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The logo shows both NY and NJ on it and the song “Coming Home” by Diddy Dirty Money plays.
Generic theme music hits as Maria Menounos walks down to the ring to a nice hand in a referee shirt. The host of Extra will be the special referee for the upcoming match.
Divas Championship Beth Phoenix [c] vs. Kharma
The two most powerful Divas on the WWE roster locked up at the sound of the bell, and Kharma quickly showed that she was superior in the strength department by shoving Beth Phoenix to the mat. They locked again and Beth went down again. Beth isn’t sure what to do as she’s never faced a situation like this before. They go for another collar and elbow tie up, but Beth wisely drops down and takes out the legs of the challenger before locking in a cloverleaf. Kharma once again shows strength as she powers out of it. Before she can get to her feet though, the Glamazon is on the offensive as she clubs her to keep her on her knees. Beth runs off the ropes and hits a clothesline for a near fall. She drops an elbow on Kharma for another near fall. Beth goes for a cloverleaf again but is again kicked off, this time into the corner. Kharma is up and charges at Beth, who moves out of the way. Beth now levels her with successive chops and a DDT for another near fall. Beth Phoenix argues with Maria Menounos about the speed of the count, though it was fair. She turns back to Kharma who hits her with a spinning backfist. Kharma hoists Beth up for a gorilla press slam and covers but the Champion gets a shoulder up. Kharma wastes no time as she bounces off the ropes and goes for a splash, but Beth Phoenix moves. Beth gets behind Kharma and locks her in for the Glam Slam but can’t lift her. Her struggles allow Kharma to back her into the corner. As Beth stumbles out, Kharma nails the Implant Buster! She covers but Beth Phoenix becomes the first Diva to kick out of Kharma’s finisher. Kharma is in shock as is the crowd. Kharma goes for it again, but Beth blocks it and trips her up. She rolls forward for a surprise pin but Kharma kicks out. They get up in unison and Beth Phoenix shocks the world by managing to pick up Kharma for a body slam. It takes a lot out of her as she goes for the cover after a few seconds and Kharma kicks out. Beth is clearly clueless as to what could possibly put this woman away. She goes to pick up Kharma but is met with another spinning backfist. Kharma follows that up with a sit out powerbomb but again Beth surprises everyone when she lifts her shoulder up just before three. Kharma is clearly not happy as she sends Beth into the corner. She charges and hits an avalanche in the corner. Beth crumples to the floor and Kharma climbs to the top. The WWE Universe is baffled at this large woman thinking about going airborne. Kharma leaps off the top and crushes Beth with a splash that is enough to earn her victory. Winner and New Divas Champion: Kharma [6:11]
Maria Menounos hands Kharma the Divas Championship, which she snatches away, as the WWE Universe applauds. Michael Cole puts over how much punishment Beth Phoenix took tonight, as she proved that the Divas Title meant everything to her. Kharma lifts the belt high in the air as she laughs loudly.
A promo video is shown beginning with CM Punk winning the WWE Title at Money in the Bank last year. It then shows CM Punk’s disrespect for the COO, Triple H at that time. Fast forward to Triple H being removed from his position of authority on television and then to his return a few weeks back. What followed was a barrage of attacks on CM Punk and a challenge from Punk for tonight’s WrestleMania.
Justin Roberts introduces the band, Living Colour as they play CM Punk’s theme song, Cult of Personality as he walks down to the ring. Triple H is out next, sitting in a throne with a skull like mask. It’s similar to the entrance he had at WrestleMania 22.
WWE Championship CM Punk [c] vs. Triple H
Triple H and CM Punk come face to face as the bell sounds and there is some clear trash talking going on. Triple H slaps CM Punk across the face and Punk responds by tackling The Game to the ground and letting loose a flurry of right hands. Punk picks up Tripe H and tosses him shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Punk chopped Triple H a few times in the chest before Triple H managed to turn the tide. He got Punk into the corner, hitting him with several back elbows before ramming his shoulder into Punk’s gut. Triple H sent the Champion off the ropes and connected with a knee to the face. He picked up Punk and tossed him to the outside. The Game had clear and violent intentions as he followed and smashed Punk’s face on the announce table. He grabbed some nearby cables and wrapped them around Punk’s throat, choking the life out of him. Triple H promised to hurt Punk and it looks like that will happen as he takes off the top of the announce table. He turns back to Punk but is met with a swift kick to the head. CM Punk breaks the count, but goes back outside with a suicide dive that gets a big reaction from the crowd. Punk puts Triple H back in the ring and climbs to the top. Triple H hits the ropes and knocks Punk down though. He climbs up and punches Punk a few times before hooking him for a superplex. Punk blocks it twice, but a swift shot the ribs puts Hunter back in the driver’s seat. He goes for the superplex but instead, drops Punk chest first across the top rope. He falls back to the outside as Triple H follows. He gets on Punk and hits multiple punches in succession. Triple H places Punk on the table and drives an elbow into his throat. He climbs and hooks Punk for the Pedigree, but Punk reverses it into a back body drop, that sends Triple H to the floor. Punk now lays Triple H on the table and climbs back into the ring. He goes to the top rope and raises his arms in the air before leaping off for an elbow drop through the table. Triple H moves at the last second though and Punk crashes and burns hard. Both men are down for a bit but Hunter is up first and he rolls Punk into the ring. He covers but Punk gets his shoulder up. Triple H sends him off the ropes and connects with a strong spinebuster before signaling for the end. He goes for the Pedigree again, but Punk trips him up and rolls him up for a near fall. Hunter is up first and he stomps on Punk before dropping a knee on him. Triple H decides to get methodical as he locks Punk in an Indian death lock. Punk is clearly in a lot of pain as he struggles for the ropes but eventually gets there. As Punk gets up, Triple H locks in a sleeper hold and Punk begins to fade. The referee lifts Punk’s arm twice and it falls, but on the third attempt it stays strong in a nice old school spot. Punk hits some elbows to the stomach before sending the challenger off the ropes and hitting a leg lariat. They got up and Punk sent him into the corner, where he followed in with a knee strike and bulldog. Punk gives the signal for the Go to Sleep as Triple H struggles to his feet. Punk hoists him up for it, but Triple H wriggles free and hits the Pedigree! Hunter can’t make the cover in time though, as he was still feeling the effects of Punk’s attacks. He crawls over to make the cover, but Punk grabs him and reverses it into the Anaconda Vise! Triple H manages to counter it into a crucifix pin for a near fall. They get up and trade punches as the crowd boos each shot from Triple H and cheers all of Punk’s shots. Triple H gets the advantage and backs Punk into the corner, but once there, Punk counters and puts Triple H in the corner. He puts him on the top and climbs with him. Punk looks to set up for a top rope hurricanrana but Triple H holds onto the ropes and blocks it. Punk manages to land on his feet though and hops right back to the top. Punk drives some stiff right hands into Triple H’s skull before hooking him for what looks like a Pedigree. Punk leaps off the top with this and hits a top rope Pedigree as the ultimate insult to injury! He covers and beats The Game to retain the gold. Winner and Still WWE Champion: CM Punk [23:51]
CM Punk was handed the WWE Championship as he got to his feet and raised it high in the air. The WWE Universe was about as loud as it has been all night as CM Punk defeated the COO of this company with a variation of Triple H’s own move. Punk shouts “Best in the World” at the camera before it cuts away.
A long video package plays to the song “We Are Young” by fun. It chronicles the history between John Cena and The Rock. Starting with The Rock’s return in 2011 as he called out Cena, Cena’s rebuttal, The Rock costing Cena the WWE Title at WrestleMania 27, the challenge made one year in advance, the team they formed at Survivor Series and all of the back and forth jabs, verbal and physical, that they’ve traded.
Back to the stage, Machine Gun Kelly is introduced as he performs one of the theme songs for tonight’s WrestleMania, “Invincible”. The crowd cheers the performance but it turns to boos soon as Machine Gun Kelly begins to rap the words to “Basic Thuganomics” with no beat in the background. After the first verse he stops, before “My Time is Now” hits and Kelly raps the lyrics to Cena’s theme as he comes out. Cena salutes Kelly before running down to the ring. The Rock makes him wait as his theme doesn’t hit for a while but when it does, the place comes unglued. He makes his way down to the ring as the “Once in a Lifetime” main event is here.
Once in a Lifetime The Rock vs. John Cena
Before the bell even rings, SunLife Stadium has a huge big fight feel. The crowd is changing “Rocky” as it looks like they are very heavily behind their hometown guy. The pair locks horns in the middle of the ring as Rock puts on a headlock. He takes Cena over and keeps it locked in but Cena gets Rock into a headscissors. Rock kicks up out of it and grabs Cena’s legs. Rock attempts to lock in the Sharpshooter but Cena rolls him into a small package for a near fall. They get up at the same time and stare at each other for moments. They grapple again and Cena gets behind Rock. He attempts a German suplex, but Rock blocks it, gets behind Cena and pulls him into a school boy that Cena kicks out of. Both men have now tried for early victories in this huge contest. Cena charges at Rock but Rock uses his momentum to send him flying over and to the outside. Rock followed and slams Cena’s face onto the apron before going for an Irish whip to the guardrail. Cena reverses it and Rock crashes into the rail. Cena lifts Rock and seats him on top of the railing. Cena charges and knocks both men over, just like he did to Miz last year. The referee’s count is getting up there as the crowd boos a possible double countout. The official stops his count at 9 as he will not have a match of this magnitude end on a countout. Cena is up first and he brings Rock back over the rail and into the ring. He climbs to the top and hits a leg drop bulldog for a near fall. Cena stalked Rock as he was getting up and went for the Attitude Adjustment but Rock grabbed the ropes to stop the move. Cena instead tossed Rock over the top and to the outside. The crowd boos heavily as Cena poses while Rock gets to his feet and back into the ring. Cena goes right back on the attack, hitting a fisherman suplex for a near fall. Cena sets Rock up for a belly to belly suplex, but Rock blocks it and hits one of his own. He levels Cena with consecutive clotheslines as The Great One is starting to build momentum. Rock hits a Samoan drop but only gets two. He again goes for the Sharpshooter, this time managing to get it latched in. Cena reaches for the ropes and eventually gets them. Rock goes to pick Cena up, but is met with a rake to the eyes. Cena then hits the Attitude Adjustment from out of nowhere and covers, but Rock gets his shoulder up. Cena is not happy as he throws Rock outside and removes the top of the remaining announce table. John Cena has an intense look in his eyes as he gets on the table with Rock. He hooks him for a Rock Bottom which gets a mass amount of boos from the WWE Universe. Cena connects with this in the ultimate form of insult to injury and both men are down for a while. Cena stirs first as he rolls Rock into the ring and covers, but Rock kicks out! Cena is not clearly frustrated as he goes to pick up Rock. Rock breaks free and hits a snap DDT from out of nowhere to a huge pop. Again, both guys are down for a bit but Rock kicks up and once Cena is up, Rock hits the Rock Bottom. He covers but Cena gets a shoulder up. Rock sends Cena off the ropes but Cena ducks a clothesline. He comes back with consecutive shoulder blocks and calls for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Instead of doing it how he normally does, he tosses his arm bands into the crowd and mocks the People’s Elbow. He hits the shuffle and covers, but again, Rock kicks out. Cena sends Rock off the ropes and goes for a hip toss, but Rock blocks it and hits one of his own. Cena is quickly up and the two men trade punches in the middle of the ring, with the crowd switching between positive and negative reactions. Rock gets the better of the exchange and goes for the Rock Bottom again, but Cena elbows out of it and rolls to the mat, where he grabs Rock’s leg and hooks on the STF! Rock looks close to tapping out however, he reaches the ropes. Cena waits until the count of five to break the hold and is clueless of how to win this one. Rock gets up with the help of the ropes and Cena charges but is met with a spinebuster. The crowd is now on their feet as The Rock sets up for the most electrifying move in sports entertainment. Rock connects with the People’s Elbow and covers, but Cena kicks out. Exhaustion is clear on both men’s faces as Rock lifts Cena. Cena trips up Rock and hits a slingshot, but Rock crushes referee Mike Chioda in the corner. As Rock comes out of the corner, Cena hits him with a dropkick. He looks at the downed official, then at crowd and then to the outside. Cena slides out and grabs a steel chair. Michael Cole shouts “Not like this Cena!” Cena waits for Rock to get up as he cracks him with the chair to a shower of boos. Cena tosses the chair out of the ring and covers Rock as Chioda begins to stir. He starts to count but just before reaching three, Rock kicks out! Cena is beside himself as he cannot believe that Rock has kicked out. He argues with Chioda for a bit, though Chioda doesn’t really know what’s going on. Cena turns to Rock and lifts him for the Attitude Adjustment but Rock wriggles free and connects with the Rock Bottom! He goes for the pin, but Cena wisely rolls out of the ring. Rock, still feeling the effects of the chair shot is barely up as Cena gets to his feet. Cena gets back in the ring and levels Rock with a belly to belly suplex. Cena now puts Rock in the corner and sits him on the top. He climbs to the second rope and looks to be attempting the biggest AA ever! Rock elbows his way out of it and they jockey for position at the top. Rock wins the battle and gets Cena seated on the top, facing the outside of the ring. Rock gets down to the second rope and hooks him for a second rope Rock Bottom. He jumps off the second rope and hits it, finally getting the victory. Winner: The Rock [32:34]The WWE Universe exploded as The Rock has defeated John Cena in a once in a lifetime spectacle. Both men pulled out all the stops to win. As Rock celebrates, Cena is shown sitting on the ramp with a disappointed look on his face. He said that this match meant everything to him, so what’s next for John Cena. The announce team mention that Cena went to a place they’ve never seen him go to before when he whacked Rock with the steel chair. Did John Cena embrace the hate for just that moment or for good?

ALRIGHT, WRESTLEMANIA TIME! THE CLASSIC KEVSTA!
I don't know if I ever told you or not, but I'm sure I have, but I got into sims after reading your original 08 diary... so I'm pumped for this right here. Solid call going with the World Heavyweight Championship match to open WrestleMania off with a bang and whoa, that is quite a bang! Wade Barrett winning completely surprises me, I really thought that either Orton or Bryan would walk out with the belt... not a terrible thing, though, I just didn't think he would do it. I dig it. Up next, the WWE Tag Team Championships match on the line with AirBoom retaining the belts. Pretty obvious choice, I feel, here. Although, I wouldn't have minded if you had a pre-show with this match being a part of it as I don't view the Prime Time Players as WrestleMania worthy just yet. Nonetheless, I'm glad to see AirBoom keep the belts for now as I don't think PTP are ready. Next up, I'm glad to see Zack Ryder get the victory over Kane here even though it just seems weird to consider it a WrestleMania match at this point in reality, haha. Anyway, best decision here to give Zack the rub. Ah, finally, some more excitement into the show - no offense to the two prior matches - but I'm glad to see a big pick up in the show with the Extreme Rules match. Dolph Ziggler going over was definitely the right decision here as he gets a huge rub from the Hardcore Legend, a good match here with the right result. A huge tag team match to determine the General Manager of Raw and Smackdown here. Glad to see Team Johnny get the win as I was a fan of Laurinaitis being such an annoying prick! Wouldn't mind seeing Teddy in a reduced role of some sort, but, Johnny winning is the clear call here. The United States and Intercontinental Championships getting some recognition upon the grandest stage of them all I love and a good call here giving Cody Rhodes the victory after Christian really seemed to have his number leading up to this match. I'm expecting big things from Cody down the road. Here we go... the Streak is on the line and obviously a great match with it being Jericho as the guy trying to break the streak. Not surprised one bit to see The Undertaker win the match and I hope he continues onward with the streak... no disrespect to Jericho, but that certainly shouldn't be his final WrestleMania match. I mean, you probably wouldn't do that anyway because you're too smart... right? Right? Diva's match here that isn't much of a big deal to me but certainly turns things right over to Kharma becoming the Diva's Champion. No surprise here as we move forward into the huge WWE Championship match with the absolute right result of CM Punk being the winner. I find it kind of funny seeing Punk face Hunter after what I did in my diary with him helping Punk become the future rather than ruin him, haha. Anyway, a good match between the two and I'm happy to see Punk is still the WWE Champion and still the Best in the World. FINALLY! THE ROCK! HAS COME BACK! TO FACE Johnnn Ceeennaaaaa... obviously the biggest match of the night and obviously the main event of the evening. A very intense match between the two that you seemed to make much more personal over time than the WWE did, and John Cena showing some desperation in an attempt to win is very, very intriguing. With The Rock walking out the winner, I wonder what route you will go with Cena down the road... I expect a rematch next year, even if I'm not a huge fan of the idea. But, we'll see. A very good WrestleMania extravaganza, Kev, as you certainly still got it. If I have to be critical, the only thing I'd say is that it seemed like there was a lot of filler worthy stuff on the card, although, with four very big matches I can understand it. It doesn't take away from it being a good WrestleMania event one bit. Keep it going, maybe this will reach over 90 pages too?

- Barrett winning the World Heavyweight Championship, I definitely would say I counted out Barrett, definitely did not expect Barrett to come out with the victory because I was either expecting Orton to win or I was expecting Bryan by some miracle to pull off the improbable and retain but with Barrett becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion it opens up new possibilities especially with Barrett as the World Heavyweight Champion especially on Smackdown because now instead of becoming the hunter he is now going to become the hunted because you know as well as I do that Orton is not done with Barrett not by a long shot and Bryan he is entitled to his rematch too since he lost the title but then again you have so many other superstars who I am sure will want a crack at that title but then again I wonder who Barrett will have to defend his title against at Extreme Rules
- AirBoom retaining their WWE Tag Team Championships against the PTP, I honestly did not think that AirBoom would retain but to be honest I was hoping that PTP would win but AirBoom sooner or later they will end up losing those titles and if and when they do I wonder if Kofi will turn heel on Evan Bourne? Or if Evan Bourne will turn heel on Kofi? Because either way I don't see AirBoom lasting all that much longer as a team to be honest so I can see them dropping their titles either on RAW tomorrow night or at Extreme Rules
- Zack Ryder retaining his WWE United States Championship beating Kane especially on the grandest stage of them all, this win really elevates Ryder as WWE United States Champion really makes his reign seem all the much more legit in the sense that he is not a fluke now but getting his much needed retribution on Kane and on Eve, I wonder if Kane will turn on Eve by either Chokeslamming her all the well to hell? Or if Kane will Tombstone Piledrive Eve right on to the canvas? Either way Kane I can't see him keeping Eve around for far too much longer anyway
- Dolph Ziggler beating Mick Foley in Extreme Rules, I say Ziggler got the biggest rub he could get by beating Foley and especially in his own environment reminded me a whole lot of Edge/Foley WrestleMania 22 in the sense of the match similarity or the match feel but either way Ziggler gets a huge win probably the biggest win of his career and especially at WrestleMania I would definitely say Dolph is well on his way to becoming a future WWE or World Heavyweight Champion now
- Team Johnny beating Team Teddy and now Big Johnny is in control of both RAW and Smackdown, I would definitely say that this was the right call but then again Johnny we all know he is going to abuse his power and when he does then either Triple H and Stephanie will fire him or if not them then Vince McMahon will end up returning and firing Johnny himself but either way I can't wait to see what Johnny does from here on out but Teddy I wonder what he is going to do now that he is out of a job?
- Cody Rhodes retains his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Christian, I can't say that I am surprised because Cody has been coming into his own as champion and has been ever since winning the title so him beating Christian actually gives him a rub believe it or not
- The Undertaker beats Chris Jericho to take the streak to 20-0, Chris Jericho I really thought that he would end the streak but he didn't, Taker just proving to be too much for Jericho but Jericho really taking Taker to the limit and then some, Jericho has nothing to be ashamed of he came probably as close as any man in history to ending the streak but he just couldn't quite get the job done but I wonder where Jericho goes from here after this? Well Taker as for him I wonder who his 21st victim will be at WrestleMania 29 next year? Well my picks are: Dolph Ziggler, John Cena, Sting, Brock Lesnar if you bring Lesnar back, CM Punk, Wade Barrett, etc.
- Kharma beating Beth Phoenix to become the new WWE Divas Champion, now that Kharma is champion I wonder if she will now run roughshod over the division? But better yet Kharma winning in all honesty doesn't come as a shock to me
- CM Punk retains his WWE Championship beating the COO of this company beating The Game The Cerebral Assassin The King of Kings Triple H, definite passing of the torch here if you ask me and by Punk beating Triple H he has more than earned his moniker of being The Best In The World he has proven it and he continues to prove it and adding the ultimate insult by beating Triple H essentially with his own move but from the top rope and in such an emphatic fashion, this puts Punk over even more as WWE Champion and here is hoping he gets to 434 days as WWE Champion
- Rock going over in Once in a Lifetime beating Cena, I wonder what Cena will do for redemption? Either way I wonder if we will be in for Rock/Cena II at WrestleMania 29 but seeing Cena get all desperate like that I was hoping for a heel turn but hopefully we will see Cena's downward spiral begin perhaps by facing a returning Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules

WHAT TIME IS IT, IT'S WRESTLEMANIA TIME!
World Heavyweight Title Triple Threat: Great idea to have The World Heavyweight Championship contested first at WrestleMania, I fully expected Orton to win the match right there. I was really hoping that since Orton won the Royal Rumble, he would be the man to beat Bryan and Barrett for the title. But I have to say I'm very surprised that Barrett won the World Heavyweight Championship, hope you can keep the title on Barrett for a long time, but as for Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan, where do they go from here. Speaking of Daniel Bryan, where does his relationship with AJ go from here, it's going to lead to Daniel dumping AJ you watch. But good props to Barrett winning the match.
WWE Tag Team Titles: Airboom vs PTP. Well it looks like Airboom retain the titles in a great tag team match which definitely showed why PTP deserve to be fighting The Champions, but I wouldn't see Young and O' Neil winning the belts just yet.
WWE United States Title: Ryder vs Kane. Well this had to be a david vs goliath upset there, I was totally pulling for Kane, since he had Eve in his corner, I was totally expecting Eve turning on Kane in the match and siding with Ryder, but Ryder gets a big upset victory over Kane, that had to be the biggest win in Ryder's career over Kane. You can bet Kane's going to turn face since Eve tried to help Kane but it led to his loss, Eve should be careful on who she dates because according to Zack Ryder, She's A Hoeski.
Ziggler/Foley: Well this is another fight for Foley here at WrestleMania in the biggest fight of his life against the new kid on the block in Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler and Foley put everything in that match including Ziggler giving it his all proving why he is the show-off and an impressive win goes a long way to bumping him up for a potential WWE or World Heavyweight Title Shot in the near future.
Team Laurinatis vs Team Long: Great, Team Laurinatis wins, I thought Team Long had a lot of star power with guys like Sheamus and Big Show while Laurinatis had Henry, Miz and Clay. I think Laurinatis's team cheated but in the end if I have to get stuck with Laurinatis again in this diary, it's what it takes.
Rhodes/Christian: Well Rhodes gets a great victory in this hard-fought title match but I would not count Christian out just yet because this feud between Christian and Rhodes isn't over just yet.
Undertaker/Jericho: This match proved to be MOTN because both of these two were in the Attitude Era and what better way to have them fight on the grandest stage of them all at WrestleMania. Jericho kept giving Undertaker everything he had but Taker just kept coming back for more because there is no way you can beat The Phenom, but with three codebreakers. You would think Taker's streak would just die right there but it didn't just yet. And Jericho tried his hardest but with the Hell's Gate hold of The Undertaker, it cost him. Maybe we could see a eventual re-match like at SummerSlam or if Undertaker is just going to take a little bit of time off, but whoever is next in line to challenge the streak at WrestleMania 29. They better have a good chance like The Rock, John Cena, Brock Lesnar (maybe), Hornswoggle (not), Sheamus, Big Show, Kane, CM Punk and others. They all got some good chances.
Kharma/Beth: Surprised Kharma won the Divas Title, I thought Beth was going to be the first woman to beat her and she tried her best but Kharma was just too powerful, so every Diva better take notice.
Punk/HHH: I must say great match between these two with CM Punk and Triple H. Both pulled out all the stops like Triple H hitting the pedigree but Punk was able to kick out, but a top-rope pedigree by Punk was very shocking to end this match, hopefully we could see some double turns like Punk turning heel or HHH turning face, who knows. But I guarantee this feud ain't over yet.
Rock/Cena: Once in a lifetime, And this match had all the great highlights with Cena hitting the Rock Bottom through the Announce Table and getting booed for it, boy the Announce Table suffered a lot at WrestleMania 28 in this diary. Rock and Cena kicking out of their respective finishing moves and then Cena getting a steel chair whacking The Rock but he was this close to beating The Rock, however Rock fought back and put Cena away for good. I really agree with TG11 is Cena going to turn heel or is he going to let the chants continue, I really hope Cena can come back at his best for good,
Great show for WrestleMania, you did a very nice job. we've all finished Wrestlemanias this month, I feel like it's still WrestleMania Month in the proboards. ha ha, but seriously great show man.

Kev, Thoughts on Mania...
Start with the 2 minor issues with the show that I had like AJ felt like there was too much filler on the card. Was nice to see the mid card titles being on the card but the stories behind the matches didn't feel Mania worthy.
Only other issue is I think you should have went with Jericho/Punk & Taker/HHH I understand why you didnt as it would have been to similar to actual but your Jericho/Punk rivalry had potential to be better than the actual.
The above didn't effect my enjoyment of your card, it was a very good show with newsworthy events throughout. Barrett winning the World title. Johnny taking over. Zigglers big win and of course Rock beating Cena who embraced the heat for a minute which ended up costing him.
Other slight complaint popped in me head you finished the last 2 big matches with a finisher of the ropes think u should have mixed it up a bit. I don't see HHH taking that move other than awkwardly.
Not going to end it on that note. Very good show look forward to seeing what where u take it coming out of Mania.

Kev - how could I forget, a reply to TNA May 03 wouldn't go a miss even if you hate it. I respected your opinion so it would be a help ?

April 2nd, 2012 | American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida
- The WWE signature, intro video and pyro kick off the broadcast as Michael Cole, Josh Matthews and Booker T welcome everyone to Raw! They do a quick recap of the historic WrestleMania XXVIII that went down less than 24 hours ago, including Wade Barrett winning the World Heavyweight Title, The Undertaker keeping his legendary streak alive, CM Punk retaining the WWE Title against Triple H and The Rock beating John Cena.
- Speaking of the Rock, The Great One’s theme music hits as he walks down to the ring to a huge ovation from the WWE Universe. The winner of arguably the biggest main event in the history of WrestleMania gets into the ring as the crowd chants “Rocky” repeatedly. He soaks it all before saying “Finally, The Rock has come back to Miami!” The Rock throws up the Miami Hurricane’s “U” sign with his hands as the crowd roars. Rock talks about last night as the WWE Universe witnessed a once in a lifetime battle between two of the best that the ever stepped foot in a WWE ring. He says that he promised he would beat that walking fruity pebble, John Cena and he did just that. The Rock says that he also promised the people that he would never leave them again. While that is true, he does have to step away for a bit but he will be back very soon. The crowd boos a bit that he’s leaving but The Rock turns those into cheers by telling everyone that when he returns, he is coming back for one thing. It won’t be for another match with John Cena or to settle some personal vendetta. He will be coming back for the WWE Championship and it doesn’t matter who the Champion is, The Rock will become an eight time WWE Champion, if ya smell what The Rock is cooking.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A recap of some of the events of WrestleMania last night are shown and Michael Cole informs the WWE Universe that tonight, we will see the WWE Champion CM Punk go one on one with The Miz in a non-title match plus John Cena will address the audience just like the Rock did.
- Tag Team Match: Christian & United States Champion Zack Ryder def. Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes & Kane >> A few weeks back, this match actually took place, making this a rematch. In the previous encounter Kane put down Christian with a chokeslam to win, but things were different tonight. The crowd is red hot for Cody Rhodes surprisingly, and they would be disappointed as Christian wins after hitting Cody with the Killswitch.
- Christian celebrates as he gets a bit of revenge on Cody Rhodes, who defeated him to retain the Intercontinental Title on the grandest stage of them all last night. Meanwhile, during the match Eve walked down to the ring. Now that the match is over, she’s trying to get back into Zack Ryder’s good graces, but Zack wants no part of her. Zack grabs a microphone and tells her that he wants to have no part of some “Hoeski”. The crowd pops for this as Ryder heads up the ramp. Eve turns to go back to Kane instead now, but the Big Red Machine backs away and shakes his head at her. Eve is crying as the cameras go backstage.
- John Laurinaitis and David Otunga are backstage as Mr. Laurinaitis addresses the camera. He tells the WWE Universe that tonight is the beginning of his official reign as the ultimate General Manager of both Raw and Smackdown. He promises to continue to listen to the WWE Universe and says that People Power is in full effect. Tonight, CM Punk will face The Miz and two members of the twelve man tag last night will go at it when Alberto Del Rio takes on Big Show! He then says that he will be on Smackdown this week with a big announcement.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, a recap of the Extreme Rules match between Dolph Ziggler and Mick Foley last night is shown. Dolph Ziggler’s theme hits as the crowd goes wild despite his actions as of late. He gets into the ring with Vickie Guerrero and begins to brag about WrestleMania. He says that he did exactly what he promised to do and that was to take out the has been that is Mick Foley. He beat him at his own game and proved once again that he is the sickest superstar on the WWE roster. Ziggler is cut off by the theme song of the “Celtic Warrior” to a massive pop as Sheamus walks down to the ring. He gets in the ring and grabs a microphone. Sheamus says that he was impressed with Dolph last night as he beat a legend like Mick Foley at his own game. However, he’s held his tongue for weeks as he’s been pissed at the way Dolph treated a legend like Mick Foley. The constant verbal assaults and the home invasion were despicable. Sheamus says that he left it alone so Mick can get his vengeance but he wasn’t able to, so Sheamus wants to get some of Dolph tonight. Dolph shouts that Sheamus can’t come out here and interrupt him, but he accepts a match right now.
- Sheamus def. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero via disqualification >> Two of the hottest stars in the WWE went toe to toe on Raw tonight in a good match. Dolph Ziggler continues to sell like a champ as Sheamus tossed him around the ring. Dolph used a well-timed rake of the eyes to gain the upper hand and he locked in a sleeper hold. Sheamus would fight out of it and began to beat on his chest, calling for the Brogue Kick. He went for it, but Dolph dodged it and nailed him with a low blow, causing the disqualification.
- Dolph Ziggler escaped the ring and headed up the ramp with Vickie Guerrero. Even though he lost he threw his arms high in the air as if he won. Dolph shouted that he doesn’t need to prove anything to Sheamus or the WWE Universe anymore.
- Cutting to the back, Scott Stanford is standing by with the former WWE Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix. He asks her for her thoughts after losing the Divas Championship last night at WrestleMania. Beth says that obviously, she is furious but she also feels humbled actually. She bragged for months that no Diva on the WWE roster could touch her, but Kharma is a whole different animal. She underestimated how dominant Kharma is, and it has caused her to re-evaluate her career. She’s going to take some time to regroup and then she’s coming back for her Divas Title.
- The WWE Champion CM Punk is shown walking towards the arena as his match with The Miz is up next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A video is shown for WWE NXT, which premieres this Wednesday night on ION Television! See the future of the WWE including stars like Seth Rollins, the son of Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Richie Steamboat and Damien Sandow. Plus, Superstars like Tyson Kidd, Curt Hawkins, Alex Riley and William Regal!
- Non-Title Match: WWE Champion CM Punk def. The Miz w/ Mason Ryan >> CM Punk and The Miz have had their share of matches over the course of their careers, so this was pretty good thanks to that chemistry. Miz used nearly every underhanded heel tactic in the book, including taking the turnbuckle pad off and a distraction from Mason Ryan. However, they backfired as Punk reversed an attempt into the corner and Miz hit the exposed buckle. Punk followed that with a Go to Sleep for the win.
- CM Punk is handed his WWE Championship and he raises his arms high in the air. Triple H’s theme music hits as he walks out to the stage. He has a microphone and tells CM Punk that he got lucky last night. Triple H says that he is not done teaching CM Punk respect and he wants a rematch. Punk says that he has nothing to prove to Triple H, but he has no problem beating his ass once again. Punk says that Triple H doesn’t deserve another title shot though. John Laurinaitis appears on the titantron and interrupts. As the permanent General Manager of both Raw and Smackdown, he uses his power to announce that Triple H will get another WWE Title shot against CM Punk, at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. Punk says there goes Johnny making another bad decision; however, Extreme Rules is in his backyard of Chicago. He promises to beat Triple H again and rid himself of this issue. Triple H says that he will show no mercy at Extreme Rules and he guarantees to be the WWE Champion again.
- A graphic is shown reminding everyone that John Cena will be addressing the WWE Universe later tonight!

- A promo for Friday Night Smackdown is shown, where John Laurinaitis has promised to make a big announcement. Plus, we will hear from the new World Heavyweight Champion, Wade Barrett!
- Speaking of Wade Barrett, the new World Champion’s music hits as he makes his way down to the ring. He sports a huge grin as he walks with the World Title around his waist. He gets in the ring and gets a microphone as the crowd continues to be a bit different, and roars in approval for him. Wade Barrett starts with a simple “I told you so.” Wade says that he’s been telling everyone that the Barrett Barrage is unstoppable and that proved to be true last night. People kept talking about how Randy Orton was going to win the World Title after winning the Royal Rumble or how Daniel Bryan was going to weasel his way into retaining the belt, but nobody was talking about Wade Barrett walking out as Champion. Nobody believed him when he told them non-stop that he was going to be the next World Heavyweight Champion, but now he is.
- Daniel Bryan’s theme music hits as the former World Heavyweight Champion walks out to the stage with his girlfriend AJ Lee, as the crowd begins to shout “Yes!” the way that Daniel usually does. Bryan shouts “No!” to start his promo as he says that the World Title is his. He calls last night a fluke and says that it was an injustice that he was forced to defend his belt in a Triple Threat match. He calls himself the best World Champion in WWE history and he demands his rematch. Wade Barrett says that Bryan must not have been listening because the Barrett Barrage is unstoppable so he can have his rematch whenever, as it won’t make a difference. The crowd wants to see this now, but Bryan says that they can do it this Friday on Smackdown. This causes the crowd to boo as Bryan heads to the back.
- A video package is shown highlighting The Undertaker keeping his legendary streak intact against the challenge of Chris Jericho last night.
- Scott Stanford is standing by backstage with the Prime Time Players. He asks them about coming up just a bit short at WrestleMania in their attempt to win the WWE Tag Team Titles. Titus O’Neil blows a whistle and throws a yellow flag. Darren Young says there’s a “flag on the play.” He admits that they may have underestimated AirBoom however, they are coming for the gold again and he promises they will be the Tag Team Champions soon because they’re worth “millions of dollars.”
- Alberto Del Rio def. Big Show >> Both of these men were involved in the big twelve man tag team match last night for control of both shows. Unlike last night though, this was one sided early on as Big Show was not in a good mood and was throwing Del Rio around. Del Rio hit an enziguri that got Show down to his knees and Del Rio was on fire. However, he ran off the ropes for a move, but Show shoved him into the corner, where he collided with the referee. Show grabbed Del Rio and set up for the chokeslam. Brodus Clay ran down to the ring and hit Show from behind! Clay ran off the ropes and hit a big cross body on Show, followed by a big splash. He lifted Show to his knees and hit a headbutt and the Fall of Humanity. Del Rio covered as the referee was getting up and he counted the three slowly.
- Alberto Del Rio celebrated his win as Brodus Clay stared down Big Show from the ring. Josh Matthews mentions that Clay and Show went face to face during the Royal Rumble and again last night in the twelve man tag, but it looks like their issues are growing.
- Backstage, John Cena is shown walking towards the ring as he will address the WWE Universe, next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- John Cena walks down to the ring to his usual mixed reaction, more boos than cheers tonight though. He gets in the ring and waits for the boos to die down, but instead they turn to “you’re a loser” chants. Cena says that last night, he lost. He has no excuses but he is ashamed to say that The Rock was the better man. Cena then mentions his use of the steel chair last night and how people on Twitter are saying that he “embraced the hate”. Cena promises that is not the case. He says that with a match of that magnitude, he was willing to do everything possible to win and he may have gone too far. Nobody including The Rock, Kane and the members of the WWE Universe who are against him can make him change who he is. He will always be the guy that embodies hustle, loyalty and respect so everybody’s going to have to get used to it. As part of his respect, he wants The Rock to come down to the ring so he can congratulate him in person.
- No music plays as the arrival of The Rock is awaited. Instead, the lights go completely out. Chris Jericho’s theme hits as man who came very close to breaking The Undertaker’s streak comes out to the stage to a huge pop. He is in his now trademark hoodie and he has a microphone in his hand. Jericho speaks slowly and says that he came back at the beginning of the year to take over and destroy the WWE. However, he failed to win the Royal Rumble and couldn’t beat the Undertaker last night. Jericho claims that something has stood in the way of his dominance since his return. Something has been bothering him in the back of his mind but he couldn’t figure out what it was. Jericho is walking down the ramp and enters the ring. He says that there is one guy that he has tried to defeat numerous times, but never could and that’s John Cena. He needs to beat the WWE’s poster child and get that monkey off of his back before he can destroy this company. Cena says that he likes this because he’s been getting pissed at Jericho’s idea of “destroying the WWE”. He doesn’t want to see something he loves so dearly get destroyed. Jericho challenges him to a match and promises to get the win that has eluded him. Cena accepts and tells him to name a time and a place. Jericho thinks about it before hitting a huge Codebreaker out of nowhere! The crowd cheers loudly as Jericho stands over Cena.
