April 29th, 2012 | Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois- “Adrenaline” by Shinedown plays following the WWE signature as we cut to highlights of the buildup for tonight's show. The main focus is on the two World Title matches, one pitting CM Punk and Triple H against each other in a Chicago Street Fight, and the other showcasing Wade Barrett's long rivalry with Randy Orton, which will culminate in a Steel Cage tonight.
- The song continues to blare over the loudspeakers as pyro explodes and the camera pans around the Allstate Arena. Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Josh Matthews welcome the WWE Universe to tonight's huge show. It's the one night a year that the WWE goes “extreme”! We see a shot of the Steel Cage hanging above the arena before going to Justin Roberts for the opening contest.
- Belfast Brawl: Sheamus def. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero in 12:45 >> After defeating Mick Foley in a Hardcore match at WrestleMania, Dolph Ziggler proclaimed himself the “King of Extreme Rules”. His victory speech was interrupted by Sheamus, who was none too pleased with Dolph's disrespectful ways towards a legend like Mick Foley. Sheamus began this match in control, using his power to get in the driver's seat. He would step outside to grab a weapon, allowing Ziggler to nail him from behind and turn the tide. Ziggler would use a steel chair and a kendo stick to gain near falls on the “Celtic Warrior”. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick and covers but takes too long to cover so Dolph kicks out. Sheamus makes sure that doesn't happen again when he plants Dolph with White Noise onto a steel chair! That was enough to earn him the three in this hard fought contest.
- Sheamus throws his arms in the air and shouts “Fella!” at the top of his lungs as the crowd cheers in approval. The “Celtic Warrior” has avenged his loss from Smackdown a few weeks back but one can assume that Dolph Ziggler will not take this lying down.
- Backstage, John Laurinaitis and David Otunga are shown in the General Manager's office watching on a monitor. Laurinaitis gloats about how good the matches he puts on are, while David Otunga agrees and continues to kiss his butt. He sips some coffee before the World Heavyweight Champion enters. Laurinaitis says that he wanted to see Wade Barrett because he wanted to congratulate him on his recent success. Wade thanks him as Laurinaitis considers him the kind of Champion that he likes to have on his roster, unlike someone like CM Punk. Barrett agrees, calling himself the perfect Champion and he promises that he will officially end Randy Orton tonight.
- Falls Count Anywhere: Brodus Clay def. Big Show in 5:17 >> As soon as the bell rings, Brodus Clay charges at Big Show and the two behemoths fall through the ropes and to the outside. The action stays there as they brawl and hit each other with very hard shots at ringside. Clay chokes Show with nearby cables before tossing the World's Largest Athlete into the guardrail. They spill up the ramp and to the entrance, where Show signals for the WMD. He swings but Clay ducks and Show punches the steel structure. Clay grabs a chain near the ramp, wraps it around his fist and punches Show in the face several consecutive times! Show is knocked out and Clay covers him to end it.
- The WWE Universe looks on and are stunned that the Big Show, the man who has knocked out more Superstars than anyone in recent memory, has been knocked out here tonight. Brodus Clay is not done however as he stomps on Big Show's hand, which is clearly injured from punching the steel! Officials run out to stop Clay from doing anything else but the damage has clearly been done.
- Cutting backstage, Matt Striker is standing by as funky music starts to play. Former Smackdown interviewer Cameron dances up with former NXT diva Naomi before they're joined by Xavier Woods. Woods debuted on Smackdown two nights ago with these ladies dancing with him. Striker asks Woods for his thoughts on joining the Smackdown roster. Woods says that he's excited to fulfill his dream of bringing the funk to the WWE and he promises to make Smackdown more fun.
- Cutting away to another part of the arena, Daniel Bryan is shown arriving. The crowd pops as we haven't seen Bryan since he lost to Ted Dibiase a few weeks back. Michael Cole wonders what Bryan is doing back here tonight.
- Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: Cody Rhodes [c] def. Christian in 17:11 >> It's clear very early on that this is not going to be a high spot ladder match but one with more psychology. Cody Rhodes attacks Christian's right leg early and often. He slams it in the ladder and steals a spot from the 1998 SummerSlam ladder match by delivering a shin breaker onto the ladder while it's laid across the guardrail and apron. He climbs but Christian is able to limp in and tilt the ladder, sending Cody out of the ring and to the mat hard. The crowd gets to their feet as Christian begins his slow climb on his one good leg. He gets his fingertips on the belt as Cody makes it back in the nick of time and chop blocks Christian, sending him to the mat. Cody picks up his challenger and plants him with Cross Rhodes before ascending the ladder and retrieving his coveted title.
- The commentary unit puts over the superb match that we just witnessed as Cody Rhodes clutches his Intercontinental Championship as he catches his breath. The impressive reign of Cody continues with another outstanding victory.
- A video promo airs for Over the Limit, the next WWE Pay-Per-View, live on May 20th!
- Scott Stanford is in the back when his guest at this time, the WWE Champion CM Punk, comes up to a huge pop. Scott asks for his thoughts going into a Chicago Street Fight tonight. Punk says that he's more excited for tonight than he was for WrestleMania. Tonight, is in his hometown and tonight will be a fight, not a wrestling match. He's going to show Triple H and everyone else that he truly is the “Best in the World”.
- WWE Tag Team Championship Tables Match: The Prime Time Players [c] w/ Abraham Washington def. AirBoom, Primo and Epico w/ Rosa Mendes and The Usos in 9:42 >> The tag team division has been on fire in 2012, even getting a match at WrestleMania. They continue the trend of putting on good matches here in this elimination style match. The first team to be eliminated is The Usos after Jimmy gets put through a table by a top rope Boom Drop from Kofi Kingston. Evan Bourne then continues AirBoom's great start as he hits AirBourne on Epico through a table to eliminate his team. Down to the two teams who faced off at WrestleMania, Bourne tries another AirBourne through a table, but Abraham Washington pulls Darren Young off the table and Bourne crashes and burns. This allows Titus to pick up his fallen body and put him through a table with the Clash of the Titus and the Champions retain.
- The Prime Time Players retain their gold as the fans boo. The assistance of Abraham Washington proves to be valuable once again as he saves the WWE Tag Team Titles for the Champions. The three men celebrate in the middle of the ring to more boos.
- A promo airs for WWE NXT, which airs on ION Television every Wednesday night!
- Returning, Daniel Bryan is shown walking through the halls as he enters the office of John Laurinaitis. He immediately demands to be placed into the World Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage match next. Laurinaitis says that he can't do that and Bryan is not pleased. He claims that, after losing the World Title, his rematch and a match with Ted Dibiase, he needed to take time off and get his head in the right place and he has. He guarantees that he will win the World Title the next chance he gets. Laurinaitis tells Bryan to be at Raw tomorrow night as he has an announcement and it could benefit him. Bryan begrudgingly accepts and heads off.
- World Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage Match: Wade Barrett [c] def. Randy Orton in 15:14 >> Going back to the end of 2011, this has been one heated rivalry and you could trace it back to 2010 if you really wanted to. The match starts with a methodical pace as Wade Barrett targets Randy Orton's back. He delivers a backbreaker and works that for a bit. Orton fights back and tosses Wade into the cage a few times. He grates Wade's face across it as well as this very personal bout continues to be physical. Orton hits an RKO from out of nowhere but his back is still hurt so he doesn't cover quickly, allowing Barrett to get his shoulder up. Orton starts to crawl towards the cage door and the referee opens it for him. As he gets halfway out, a man suddenly appears and slams the door on his skull! Orton stumbles back right into Wasteland from Barrett, who pins him for the victory.
- Everyone is stunned at this turn of events as Wade Barrett is awarded his belt. The man outside of the ring is shown on camera and Michael Cole points out that he recognizes him as Dean Ambrose, one of the hottest prospects in the WWE. Ambrose stares into the ring with a sly smirk and a crazed look in his eyes. Wade Barrett is surprised like everyone else as Ambrose turns and leaves through the crowd. Why did he cost Randy Orton the World Heavyweight Title?
- Backstage, Matt Striker is standing by with Ted Dibiase. He asks for his feelings going into one of the biggest matches in his career. Ted states that he's been in the ring opposite of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, John Cena and many other greats, so he's more than prepared for Alberto Del Rio. He says that he wants to defeat Alberto Del Rio for the Dibiase Posse.
- We see a shot of the arena from the outside before going to a video package for the upcoming match. It shows a clip of John Cena's first ever Pay-Per-View match a decade ago in which he defeated Chris Jericho. Next it cuts to 2005 where Cena again bested Jericho and got him fired from the WWE. Jericho would return with a new character and win a World Title in 2008, only to lose it to a returning John Cena. Lastly, it shows Jericho's return at the start of this year and his recent attacks on John Cena.
- Last Man Standing: Chris Jericho def. John Cena in 20:09 >> Chris Jericho instantly shows that he is desperate to get the monkey off of his back. Since returning on the first show of the year, Jericho has lost the Royal Rumble and failed to break The Undertaker's streak. He and John Cena fist fight at the start and bring chairs in shortly after. Jericho shouts at the referee anytime Cena is down to count as he was in dire need of the victory. Cena keeps getting up in time though and goes for an Attitude Adjustment on steel steps, but Jericho elbows out of it and hits a sick German suplex onto the steps! The referee counts and Cena somehow nearly gets to his feet by nine. Jericho is ready though and lays him out with the steps again before repeatedly slamming them on Cena about ten times in a brutal display. He then places the steps on Cena and sits on them as the referee counts. Cena starts to move and actually manages to try and power out but is unable to by the count of ten.
- The bell sounds and Chris Jericho throws his arms in the air as he finally earns a win over John Cena, ten years after their first ever meeting. We get some replays of the brutality that Jericho showed as John Cena was still struggling to get to his feet. Chris Jericho was even more aggressive than he has been since his return and it worked out for the better.
- Backstage, Triple H is shown putting on his elbow pads for the main event tonight. The camera then cuts to CM Punk, who is also preparing for the big fight.
- A promo airs informing the fans that WrestleMania XXVIII will be on sale next Tuesday!
- Lumberjack Match: Ted Dibiase def. Alberto Del Rio in 7:41 >> The John Laurinaitis support half of the Lumberjacks included David Otunga, Ricardo Rodriguez, Curt Hawkins, The Miz, Mason Ryan, Tyler Reks, Jinder Mahal, Heath Slater and Hunico, while the non Laurinaitis supporters were Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Trent Barreta, The Great Khali, Sin Cara, Ezekiel Jackson, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio and Santino Marella. The faces don't attack Alberto Del Rio when he gets knocked outside, but the Laurinaitis supporters have no problem putting a beating on Ted Dibiase. This causes an all out brawl between the Lumberjacks as John Laurinaitis watches from the top of the ramp. Inside, Del Rio goes for the Cross Armbreaker but Dibiase blocks it and hits Dream Street to win!
- Ted Dibiase's winning ways continue with another victory over a former World Heavyweight Champion! Ricardo Rodriguez enters the ring and helps Alberto Del Rio up as Ted Dibiase heads up the ramp. He laughs at a furious John Laurinaitis as the camera cuts away.
- We are taken to a video package showing the history between CM Punk and Triple H. It goes back to Night of Champions 2011 and their war at WrestleMania a few weeks ago. Triple H has gone from not wanting CM Punk as the face of the company, to wanting to hurt the WWE Champion.
- WWE Championship Chicago Street Fight: CM Punk [c] def. Triple H in 20:07 >> Both men come to the ring in street clothes as if it wasn't clear enough that this will be a fight. CM Punk gets one of the biggest pops in recent memory. As soon as the match starts they brawl, and just like some other matches tonight, the extreme aspect takes things outside. They fight in the crowd for a few and a huge spot comes as CM Punk hits the “Macho Man” elbow from the top through the announce table! Both men are down but Triple H is able to kick out when they get to the ring. Punk calls for the GTS but HHH blocks it and hits a spinebuster. He goes outside and brings out the sledgehammer to another pop. He enters the ring and hits Punk in the gut with the hammer! He goes for the Pedigree but Punk manages to counter and hit the GTS! He doesn't cover, instead picking up the sledgehammer himself. The crowd roars in anticipation as Triple H slowly gets to his feet. Punk drives the sledgehammer into his face and covers him to retain.
- The crowd erupts as CM Punk has retained his WWE Championship in the same building where he won his first. He raises the belt high in the air and basks in the reaction from the WWE Universe in Chicago. He's finally put the COO of this company behind him and one has to wonder what's next for the WWE Champion.

I'm going to miss you incorporating more detail. But, this is certainly better than nothing from the almighty Kev.
Sheamus defeating Dolph Ziggler in a Belfast Brawl to open up the show is fine, although I would have been fine with sexy Ziggy getting the win as well. I forgot you made Brodus Clay a legitimate monster, something I could never get my hands around as I never wanted to go with the Funkasaurus route. We'll see how he goes down the road, a win against Big Show is a goo start. An excellent mid-card bout for the Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match, Cody Rhodes remaining the champion is great and a good win over Christian in his own type of match. The Prime Time Players remaining the champions is fine, especially with Abraham Washington helping them. LIKE KOBE BRYANT WITH A WHITE GIRL IN COLORADO, EVAN BOURNE JUST GOT RAPED! #Fired. Wade Barrett and Randy Orton doing battle inside of a steel cage for the World Heavyweight Championship is, of course, good and expected. I'm looking forward to see what you do with Barrett down the road as I anticipate him remaining the champion until at least the summer time. A big last man standing match here between two long time rivals. Seeing Chris Jericho get the win over John Cena is for the best with his new aggressive attitude and really big for him in order to propel him back towards the main event picture. Ted DiBiase vs Alberto Del Rio isn't much worth caring for out of this card, but seeing Ted DiBiase get a small boost I'm all for. Finally, a Chicago Street Fight between CM Punk and Triple H at Extreme Rules 2012. Trying to one up my match between them at the same event in a Chicago Leather Strap match, are we!? Kidding, of course, dear. A good, brutal main event with the right man winning in his home town. CM Punk for WWE Champion forever. kthnx. A very good Extreme Rules pay-per-view with the right decisions made, but I don't expect much less from you. WELP! HERE COMES THE PAIN! KEV IS BACK.

4/30/12 Edition
- After Extreme Rules, it's said that the higher ups have lost some faith in Brodus Clay. While he won't be jobbed out, he won't be a main event player unless he can step his game up
- Expect Jack Swagger to return to the WWE within the next few weeks. There are rumors that he will be part of Zeb Colter's "Real Americans" stable.
- Dean Ambrose made his debut on the main roster last night, attacking Randy Orton during the Steel Cage match for the World Heavyweight Title. This is the end of the Wade Barrett/Randy Orton feud for now as Orton will be moving into a feud with Ambrose. Also, expect Ambrose to get a big push.
- Triple H will be off of television for a while following his program with CM Punk. The current plan is to bring him back as a face authority figure somewhere down the line.

Extreme Rules
- Sheamus beating Ziggler in a Belfast Brawl, makes sense considering this is Sheamus' match, his specialty even though Ziggler he did give Sheamus a run for his money in this match hell even Ziggler had the match won a few times but Sheamus managing to win beating Ziggler, it makes me wonder what is next for Sheamus? Or what is next for Ziggler? Perhaps Sheamus will set his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship but as for Ziggler if he were smart he would dump Vickie because all she has done is hold him back and if Ziggler is ever going to be successful he is going to need to stop carrying around dead weight that of course being Vickie
- Barrett the World Heavyweight Champion backstage with Big Johnny and Otunga and talking about the WWE Champion CM Punk, just who is the better champion of those 2? Honestly it is CM Punk he is the way superior of the 2 as far as champions go but we'll see if Barrett is even still champion by the time Extreme Rules is over
- Brodus Clay perhaps with one of the biggest wins in his career beating The World's Largest Athlete The Big Show, because it certainly elevates Brodus Clay in terms of his stock by beating Big Show but Big Show being injured, I wonder how long Big Show will be out of action for?
- Xavier Woods debuting with both Cameron and Naomi, so he is the one who is getting the "Funk" gimmick? Makes sense and Daniel Bryan is back in the house I can only imagine why Bryan is here now?
- Cody Rhodes retaining his WWE Intercontinental Championship in the Ladder Match beating Christian with Cody beating Christian at his own game in his own match, this definitely elevates Cody even more because of the fact that he has been WWE Intercontinental Champion for how long now? And with him beating Christian a former World Heavyweight Champion this just proves that Cody is not a flash in the pan and that he could very well end up having a lengthy title reign
- Prime Time Players retaining their WWE Tag Team Championships beating Airboom, Primo & Epico, and The Usos, this is great because with Abraham Washington behind these 2, Young and O'Neil can do no wrong and after beating 3 other tag teams, this just goes to show us that no one no one is in the PTP's league, now say it with me MILLIONS OF DOLLARS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS MILLIONS MILLIONS MILLIONS MILLIONS BILLIONS!!!
- Wade Barrett retaining his World Heavyweight Championship inside the Steel Cage by beating Orton I honestly thought Orton was going to win the title but that didn't happen because of Dean Ambrose sticking his nose where it didn't belong and costing Orton the title, like what beef does Ambrose have with Orton? What did Orton ever do to Dean Ambrose to cause Ambrose to target Orton specifically? Well whatever Ambrose did, I can't see Orton just letting it go and perhaps Ambrose made the biggest mistake of his whole entire life by targeting Orton? Orton could always punt Ambrose in the skull
- Chris Jericho finally beating John Cena for the first time ever in his career with Jericho finally getting a much needed win against Cena in their rivalry and now that he has, I can only imagine where Jericho goes from here especially beating Cena in a Last Man Standing Match? Jericho setting his sights on the WWE Championship perhaps but as for Cena I can only imagine what is next for him?
- DiBiase beating Del Rio, this does wonders for DiBiase as this keeps him not only relevant but it also elevates DiBiase back to where he needs to be and that is being in the main event picture
- And in the main event Punk retaining his WWE Championship against Triple H the COO in a Chicago Street Fight, this does wonders for Punk and here is hoping you keep CM Punk champion for 434 days at least and CM Punk's title reign ends up being lengthy and considering Punk has beaten Triple H, it makes me wonder what is next for Punk? Or what is next for the COO?

I wonder where is Brock Lesnar? I would have thought that you would have brought back Lesnar since he did return in real life at about this time

Sheamus beating Ziggler was what I expected since a Belfast Brawl is his type of match. I sense a unification match between Barrett and Punk coming soon after Barrett's talk with Laurinaitis. Was never a Brodus fan in real life, but I'm curious as to where you'll go with him after beating Big Show and injuring his hand. I wonder if Christian will get another shot at Rhodes for the IC Title, or if a new challenger will come. I didn't really expect the Primetime Players to lose the Tag titles after winning them so soon, so them retaining was good. Dean Ambrose getting involved with Randy Orton immediately tells me Ambrose is going to be pushed massively right out the gate. Jericho finally beating Cena was good and needed for him.(Surprising how he never did beat Cena IRL) Dibiase beating Del Rio was good for his career and I hope he goes onto bigger and better things. I expected CM Punk to beat Triple H since it's in his hometown of Chicago, but I also had a feeling Triple H would steal the victory from Punk in his hometown and take that WWE Championship.

April 30th, 2012 | Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio
- Following the intro video and WWE signature, the camera pans around the Nutter Center as Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome everyone to the broadcast. We're just twenty four hours removed from the most extreme night of the year as CM Punk retained the WWE Title against the COO, Triple H while Chris Jericho finally got his victory over John Cena. Plus, we are set for a major announcement by the General Manager John Laurinaitis. Speaking of which, the theme of the General Manager hits.
- John Laurinaitis, Eve Torres and David Otunga walk towards the ring to a huge chorus of boos. They wait for the crowd to quiet down before John Laurinaitis introduces himself as always. “Less than 24 hours ago you all witnessed a historic night as it was the first Pay-Per-View under my official regime.” Laurinaitis claims that the reason the show was such a success is because the matches were made by him and him only. “Now, the COO of this company, Triple H, is not going to be competing anymore and CM Punk is once again without a challenger for the WWE Title. In the interest of People Power, I've decided that at our next Pay-Per-View, Over the Limit, CM Punk will defend his title in a Scramble match!” Laurinaitis announces that there will be qualifying matches tonight to determine who the four contenders are. The crowd pops at this but Laurinaitis then says that he has more business to attend to. He introduces the World Heavyweight Champion, Wade Barrett, who comes out to more boos.
- Wade Barrett enters the ring with the World Heavyweight Title around his waist, as Jerry Lawler reminds us that part of the reason he still holds the title is because Dean Ambrose took out Randy Orton last night. Laurinaitis says that unlike CM Punk, Wade Barrett is a champion that he can be proud of. Wade takes the microphone and tells the WWE Universe that he is the World Champion for a reason and that's because no man on this planet can stop the “Barrett Barrage”. He gloats for a bit more as Laurinaitis looks on like a proud father. Laurinaitis speaks again, saying that he has one final order of business as he calls out Ricardo Rodriguez. Nobody is really sure what's going on as Rodriguez walks to the ring looking confused. Laurinaitis says that he was embarrassed when Ted Dibiase beat Alberto Del Rio and he doesn't take kindly to that. “Because Alberto Del Rio failed me, I must delve out punishments and unfortunately for you, you're guilty by association.” Rodriguez is leveled with a huge elbow from Wade Barrett! David Otunga stomps on the announcers as the crowd boos loudly. Otunga sends Ricardo off the ropes and Wade catches him with the Winds of Change. Laurinaitis looks on with a smile until Alberto Del Rio rushes down to the ring and clotheslines Otunga! The crowd pops loudly as Del Rio sends Otunga outside and begins to trade right hands with Wade Barrett. Laurinaitis is clearly pissed as he exits the ring with Eve while the fighting continues. Del Rio wins out and kicks Barrett out of the ring before checking on Ricardo. The crowd is hot as Laurinaitis, Otunga, Torres and Barrett retreat.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, we get a recap of the opening segment where a lot happened. First, we got the announcement of a Scramble match at Over the Limit, then John Laurinaitis proclaimed his support for World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett and then, they bullied Ricardo Rodriguez leading to Alberto Del Rio running out to make the save.
- In the back, John Laurinaitis, Eve Torres, David Otunga and Wade Barrett are in John's office and they are not happy. Wade shouts that he wants something done about Alberto Del Rio and Laurinaitis tells him that he'll think of something, he just needs a minute. Otunga comes up with an idea, saying that Alberto Del Rio should be punished and have to face himself and Wade tonight. Laurinaitis likes the plan and that match is announced for tonight.
- Scramble Match Qualifier: Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero def. Rey Mysterio >> Dolph Ziggler was in a foul mood after suffering a defeat at the hands of Sheamus at Extreme Rules and he came out of the box very aggressive. It was a much angrier side of Dolph than we're used to. Rey Mysterio was his resilient self as he got some near falls, but he eventually fell to a Zig Zag.
- Dolph Ziggler has his hand raised in victory and the WWE Universe boos loudly. Michael Cole mentions that Dolph came extremely close to winning the WWE Title at Royal Rumble and at Elimination Chamber, and him having another shot has to worry CM Punk.
- We cut to a scene of The Miz and Mason Ryan again. This time, The Miz is on set filming The Marine 3 and he's being as arrogant as ever. He demands better catering and security comes to calm him down but Mason Ryan grabs both guards and launch them into the wall. The Miz tells the rest of the crew that if he doesn't start getting the treatment he deserves, they'll have to deal with Mason. “When you get better food, come get us, we'll be in my trailer!” As they walk away, Miz tells Mason that it's time for his acting lessons. Mason shakes his head and agrees.
- A graphic is shown for tonight's main event that was just announced. John Cena will face Daniel Bryan in a Scramble Match Qualifier!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, a vignette airs of Zeb Colter. “Ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at a Real American. I represent a Real America and the WWE needs more men like me to represent this great country. And you know what? That's exactly what's going to happen next week on Raw when my team of Real Americans make their debut.” He tells all Real Americans to place their hand over their heart and, in a loud and clear voice, scream “We The People”.
- Backstage, Eve Torres is walking backstage when she catches up with Zack Ryder. Ryder doesn't want to hear from her as he just wants his rematch for the United States Title that he lost last week. Eve responds, “In due time Zack, in due time. Tonight, you will be in another match.” Ryder asks if it's a Scramble Match Qualifier, to which Eve laughs and says no. “Tonight, you'll be teaming with that other loser, Kane again. Let's see how you guys work together this time around.” She walks off as Ryder shakes his hand.
- Scramble Match Qualifier: Mark Henry def. Big Show and Brodus Clay >> A triple threat match of gargantuan proportions decided who the next qualifier was in the WWE Championship Scramble Match. Big Show had a wrap on his hand after punching the steel last night. Brodus Clay and Show wanted to get their hands on each badly, but Mark Henry was a big part of this. Big Show finally got a shot at Clay and laid him out with the WMD! Henry ran and tackled Show, knocking him out of the ring before pinning Clay to advance.
- Michael Cole exclaims that CM Punk's WWE Championship is in even more jeopardy with the addition of the “World's Strongest Man” to the Scramble Match. A graphic is shown of the participants of the Scramble Match so far.
- CM Punk is shown arriving at the arena tonight to a huge pop. “What's he going to say about being put into a Scramble Match?”
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo airs for this Friday's episode of Smackdown. After coming within steps of escaping the Steel Cage at Extreme Rules and winning the World Heavyweight Championship, Randy Orton was thwarted by the shocking debut of Dean Ambrose. This Friday, Randy Orton addresses the WWE Universe and calls out Ambrose.
- Highlights of the brutal Last Man Standing match between Chris Jericho and John Cena from last night is shown before Jericho makes his way out to the ring.
- Scramble Match Qualifier: Sheamus def. Chris Jericho via countout >> This first time ever bout turned out to be really good. Sheamus and Chris Jericho played to each other's strengths and produced a fun back and forth match that got about fifteen minutes. Sheamus gains momentum and starts to beat his chest, signaling for the Brogue Kick. He goes for it but Jericho dodges and rolls to the outside. As he catches his breath, John Cena's theme music hits and the crowd pops. Jericho doesn't back down and meets Cena on the ramp and they exchange blows as the referee's count reaches ten.
- The brawl between John Cena and Chris Jericho continues outside while Sheamus gets his arm raised in victory. He shrugs as if to say “I'll take it.” Sheamus, one of the hottest Superstars in the WWE has now also joined the WWE Championship Scramble match.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo airs for NXT this Wednesday. After the events of last week's main event, Big E Langston will partner up with Kassius Ohno to take on Seth Rollins and Bo Dallas in a huge tag team match!
- As we return, Alberto Del Rio's theme hits to a pop as the fans have quickly changed their opinion on the “Mexican Aristocrat.” He doesn't look to be in a good mood as he enters the squared circle. He snatches a microphone from ringside and starts to speak about John Laurinaitis. He says that he supported Mr. Laurinaitis because he knew that it would be an easy road to title shots and success. He admits that he wanted to do things the easiest way possible but he failed to beat Ted Dibiase last night. Instead of John Laurinaitis being upset with him, he decided to take it out on Ricardo Rodriguez, who is not even a wrestler. “John Laurinaitis, I don't care how many handicap matches you put me in, I will do everything possible for Ricardo.” He is interrupted by the music of the World Heavyweight Champion as the handicap match is about to begin.
- Handicap Match: Alberto Del Rio def. World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett and David Otunga >> Early on, it was clear that Alberto Del Rio was over matched. David Otunga and Wade Barrett traded quick tags and worked over Del Rio throughout. The crowd helped rally the former WWE Champion as he began a ferocious comeback and took it to Otunga. Del Rio kicked Otunga in the side of the head and went for one on Barrett who ran in, but Barrett quickly backed up and rolled away from it. He stands outside as Del Rio keeps his eyes on him and slaps the Cross Armbreaker on Otunga. While looking at Barrett, he forced Otunga to submit.
- Alberto Del Rio breaks the hold and dares Wade Barrett to come into the ring. Barrett steps onto the apron as the crowd is pumped, but he slowly gets down and grabs his World Title from ringside. Del Rio continues to hype up the crowd as Barrett wants no part of Del Rio tonight.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, Scott Stanford is standing by with the WWE Champion, CM Punk. He asks for Punk's thoughts on the upcoming Scramble Match. “What are my thoughts, Scott? My thoughts are that it's just like John Laryngitis to decide that I need to defend my WWE Title in a Scramble Match. He's made it very, very clear that he doesn't want me to be the WWE Champion and this is a good way to do that now that I've dealt with Triple H. Think about that John. Triple H thought the same thing that you did and I beat him twice. You will be proven wrong once again at Over the Limit when I keep my WWE Title. It doesn't matter if I have to go through Sheamus, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, John Cena and Daniel Bryan, the end result will be the same as it has been for the past five months and that's me holding my belt in the air.”
- Kane and Zack Ryder def. Primo and Epico w/ Rosa Mendes >> The odd pairing of WrestleMania opponents, Kane and Zack Ryder, worked surprisingly well again, just like they did on Smackdown a few weeks ago. Kane did forcefully tag in twice, but Ryder got him back by tagging himself in for the finish. He nailed Epico with the Rough Ryder and got the three.
- Zack Ryder fist pumps along with the WWE Universe after the win as Kane enters and goes to attack him like he did on Smackdown, but Ryder expects it and gets out of dodge. Ryder is seen shouting from the outside, “Are you serious, bro?”
- Backstage, John Cena is shown getting ready when Scott Stanford comes up to him. Before he can even ask a question, Cena snatches the microphone and talks to the cameraman. Cena states that last night Chris Jericho did something that no man has ever done before and that's beat him in a Last Man Standing. However, if Chris thinks that this is over, he's got another thing coming. “I'm going to win tonight, win the WWE Title at Over the Limit and I will take you out in the process.”
- Daniel Bryan is shown walking towards the arena as the main event is next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- CM Punk's theme song hits as the audience cheers for the WWE Champion. He walks down to the ring and goes to the commentary table as he will join them for this match.
- Scramble Match Qualifier: Daniel Bryan def. John Cena >> On the very first Raw of 2012, John Cena and Daniel Bryan met for the first time. Bryan ended that match by walking out and losing via countout but that wasn't the case here. He was desperate to win and earn a shot at the WWE Title, trying multiple pins but Cena was his usual resilient self. Chris Jericho's pyro fires off, distracting Cena as he set up for the Attitude Adjustment. This allowed Bryan to roll Cena up with his feet on the ropes to gain the surprise win.
- John Cena was in shock but he didn't stray for long as he quickly ran up the ramp and towards the back to find Chris Jericho. Daniel Bryan began to shout “Yes!” over and over while staring down the WWE Champion at ringside. The Scramble Match is all set, and CM Punk's title run is in serious doubt.

Alright, looks like it's time to get back into this. A fine opening segment with John Laurinaitis announcing the Championship Scramble match at Over the Limit. The attack on Ricardo Rodriguez was rather sudden I felt, though it did accomplish its job of turning Alberto Del Rio face. I thought that Del Rio's face run in real life got off to a great start before going array. Hopefully, you can keep his character solidly interesting the whole way through. A Barrett/Del Rio program does excite me, surprisingly. Good opening contest to make Dolph Ziggler the second participant in the Scramble match. However, even without knowing who the other competitors in the match, I'd say it's a fair assumption that Ziggler will not be leaving Over the Limit as the WWE Champion. Liked the promo from The Miz and Mason Ryan on the set of Marine 3. Going for Miz's current Hollywood character, perhaps? Hopefully. It's the most interesting I've found him in years. John Cena versus Daniel Bryan in the main event? Sexy. Mark Henry going into the Scramble match is the right call, especially over Big Show and Brodus Clay. I think that Henry has a decent shot at becoming the new champion. A great first hour main event with Sheamus defeating Chris Jericho to qualify for the Scramble match, but wouldn't Jericho and John Cena brawling be a disqualification? Regardless, I like that their program will be continuing, and Sheamus getting a bit of main event shine doesn't hurt. I anticipate Jericho returning the favor to Cena tonight. I love how much of a bro Del Rio is to Ricardo. The victory in the Handicap match was a perfect way to introduce his face character. Kane and Zack Ryder is an unbelievably odd pairing. Team Hell No-esque. Unsure if they will work as well, but I'm open to giving it a shot. Lastly, a fantastic main event with the expected result. The Scramble match looks stacked. Will be a hot main even for sure, as will the inevitable Jericho/Cena rematch at Over the Limit. A good show overall, Kev. Glad to see this return and not lose a beat.

May 2nd, 2012 | Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
- The weekly NXT intro video package plays before highlights of last week's main event is shown. Big E Langston defeated Bo Dallas and his post match attack was stopped by Seth Rollins. Rollins has had his issues with Kassius Ohno, leading to tonight's main event. Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton and William Regal welcome the fans to tonight's show as they send us to the ring for a huge announcement from our esteemed General Manager.
- Dusty Rhodes' theme music plays as the NXT General Manager steps out and is greeted with cheers from the crowd at Full Sail University. He gets in the ring and begins to speak. “About one month ago, NXT changed it's way and it has done so for the better. We've moved to this beautiful location in Winter Park and the future of this business is showcased for the world to see. Now, these kids trying to prove themselves are currently fighting to make a name for themselves and to earn a spot on the WWE roster. But I figured they'd like to fight for something else as well, so, I've decided that starting next week, a sixteen man tournament will commence to determine the first ever NXT Champion!” The crowd pops for this news as Dusty continues by saying that he has been watching since day one and will be watching tonight to determine the sixteen superstars that he feels are the most deserving. He exits to more cheers as NXT just got a whole lot more interesting.
- Returning, Dusty Rhodes is shown in his office when Damien Sandow enters. Sandow introduces himself and thanks Dusty for including him in the NXT Title Tournament. Dusty says that he hasn't officially chosen the participants just yet. Damien is offended, “How dare you not automatically include the intellectual savior of the masses? That is a move only an ignoramus would even consider.” Dusty tells Damien that the more names he calls him, the further from the Tournament he gets. Damien quickly changes his tone, apologizes and exits.
- Johnny Curtis and Michael McGillicutty def. CJ Parker and Jason Jordan >> Last week, Johnny Curtis and Michael McGillicutty stated that they were the two best performers in NXT history and they would prove it against the rest of the NXT roster. CJ Parker and Jason Jordan have been trying to establish themselves on NXT, but have stumbled out of the blocks and suffered another set back here when Curtis pinned Jordan following a top rope leg drop.
- Full Sail University boos as Johnny Curtis and Michael McGillicutty celebrate their victory. On commentary, Tom Phillips informs the fans at home that he just got word that Dusty Rhodes has picked the first two participants for the tournament in Curtis and McGillicutty!
- Backstage, Briley Pierce is standing by with Seth Rollins. He asks for his thoughts on the tag team main event and the NXT Title Tournament. Seth says that more than looking forward to tonight because he gets his hands on both Big E Langston and Kassius Ohno, but he's excited for the NXT Title Tournament. He feels that he should be selected for it and he promises that if given the chance, he will be the first Champion.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for Friday Night Smackdown is shown, focusing on Wade Barrett being officially backed by John Laurinaitis this past Monday and the issue with Alberto Del Rio. It then ends by saying that “The Viper” Randy Orton will address the fans about being attacked by the debuting Dean Ambrose at Extreme Rules.
- Emma def. Summer Rae >> Two of the newest Divas on the NXT roster get a chance to showcase their skills. Summer Rae seemed pretty green, while Emma seemed to get over with the fans due to her wacky dance moves and fun loving personality. She won via submission using a move that William Regal informed us was the “Emma Lock”.
- The crowd cheers for Emma as she earns a hard fought victory, joining Sofia Cortez and Paige as Divas on the NXT roster with victories.
- We cut away to a video package for a woman who introduces herself as Raquel Diaz. She seems to be very arrogant and stuck up, saying that she's the future of the Divas division because it's in her blood. She tells the fans at home that she is the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero, meaning that she is destined for greatness.
- ===Commercial Break===
- As we return, a video clip is shown of Richie Steamboat defeating Aiden English last week, only to be attacked from behind by Leo Kruger.
- Leo Kruger def. Trent Barreta >> Trent Barreta, like Michael McGillicutty and Johnny Curtis, are main roster guys looking to right the ship down in NXT, although he's going about it in a different manner. Kruger continues to be impressive in his “Hunter” character and Barreta got multiple near falls. This was the match of the night up to this point, and Kruger won following a lariat.
- Leo Kruger raises his arms in victory, keeping a sinister look on his face when the theme of Richie Steamboat hits to the crowd's liking! Steamboat steps out to the stage with a microphone. “I have no idea what your problem with me is Leo, but if it's a fight you wanted, all you had to do was ask.” He announces that he just spoke with Dusty Rhodes and both he and Kruger have been added to the NXT Title Tournament. The crowd pops at this news as it's very possible that they will meet on the road to the NXT Championship!
- Big E Langston is shown walking towards the arena because our main event is next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, we see Dusty Rhodes one more time as he has request Briley Pierce come into his office. He says that he has selected fifteen superstars for the Tournament and one guy who will debut during the Tournament! He calls this man one of the most respected athletes of the last few years and a man who has traveled the world.
- Bo Dallas and Seth Rollins def. Big E Langston and Kassius Ohno via disqualification >> The team of Big E Langston and Kassius Ohno proved to be a physical one as they beat Bo Dallas and Seth Rollins up for most of the contest. Dallas took most of the impact as he played the face in peril. He eventually makes the hot tag to Rollins, who comes in on fire and seemed on the verge of victory. He climbed to the top with Big E on the mat, but Ohno got on the apron and leveled him in the back with a steel chair!
- Things have just gotten very personal between Kassius Ohno and Seth Rollins as Seth is on the mat writhing in pain. Bo Dallas goes to make the save but is laid out by Big E Langston. The crowd boos as Langston turns to Ohno but is surprisingly laid out with the KO! Kassius Ohno wants no part of a team with Big E beyond tonight as he motions around his waist for the NXT Championship!

May 4th, 2012 | John F. Savage Arena [University of Toledo] in Toledo, Ohio- The Smackdown intro video plays, followed by the opening pyro display before the camera pans over the arena in Toledo, Ohio. Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Matthews run down the show for tonight saying that Randy Orton will be calling out Dean Ambrose tonight for costing him his shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules.
- Speaking of the World Heavyweight Championship, Wade Barrett's theme plays as he walks out to the ring. On his way to the ring, a quick recap is shown from Raw where John Laurinaitis officially backed Wade Barrett as “his” World Champion. Barrett enters the ring and grabs a microphone, telling the Smackdown audience that he told them all that he would still be the World Heavyweight Champion after Extreme Rules and none of them believed him. He states that there is a reason that John Laurinaitis chose to back him and it's because he is the best possible choice. “2012 is the year of the Barrett Barrage. It started after I tosses Randy Orton down the stairs, continued when I beat him at Elimination Chamber and reached it's pinnacle as I became the World Champion at WrestleMania.” He continues by saying that his dominance over Randy Orton was proven once again this past Sunday. “The Barrett Barrage is completely unstoppable and Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez learned that the hard way on Monday.” He takes us to the footage of the assault on Rodriguez from Raw.
- That is cut off by the music of Alberto Del Rio, who comes out to the stage to a big pop. “Wade, you like to come out and talk a lot of crap. You should really have shown this footage.” The screen shows Del Rio forcing David Otunga to submit on Raw while Barrett backed up the ramp. The camera cuts back to show Wade Barrett and he is not amused. Alberto Del Rio says that he learned how untrustworthy John Laurinaitis is, and being backed and supported by him means nothing. Wade responds by saying that unlike Alberto, he doesn't come up short when he has to. Del Rio smirks and starts to walk towards the ring, saying that he'll be more than happy to step up and make him tap out right now. They are cut off by the voice of General Manager as John Laurinaitis appears on screen. He says that Del Rio is not allowed to get into a physical altercation with the World Champion tonight as Barrett has the night off. However, Del Rio will be facing Mark Henry in our main event. Booker T asks if Alberto Del Rio will be inducted into the Hall of Pain tonight.
- ===Commercial Break===
- As we return, John Laurinaitis is shown in his office with David Otunga and Eve Torres. Eve commends him on tonight's main event and Laurinaitis claims he did it in the name of “People Power.” He claims that his goal is to put on the best show possible, so, he's decided that there will be a tournament to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental Title and it begins tonight. Otunga and Torres give him a round of applause.
- Non-Title Match: WWE Tag Team Champions The Prime Time Players w/ Abraham Washington def. International Airstrike >> After a grueling elimination Tables match at Extreme Rules, the Prime Time Players have really solidified themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the WWE. The addition of Abraham Washington continues to pay dividends as, after a solid bout, they pick up another win after the Clash of the Titus is hit on Justin Gabriel.
- The WWE Universe boos as the Prime Time Players celebrate with their “millions of dollars” dance. Abraham Washington joins in as the WWE Tag Team Champions continue their roll. Washington grabs a microphone and claims that “Abraham Washington Promotions” is in charge and his top clients, The Prime Time Players are going to be the WWE Tag Team Champions for a long time coming.
- Backstage, Randy Orton is shown arriving at the arena to a big pop. He calls out Dean Ambrose, tonight!
- A graphic is shown for tonight's main event, pitting Alberto Del Rio against one of the challengers for the WWE Title at Over the Limit, Mark Henry
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, Matt Striker is standing by with “Captain Charisma”. The crowd cheers when they see Christian on screen and Striker asks what's next for him after losing to Cody Rhodes again. “You know, for all of the grief that I give Cody Rhodes for being an arrogant and cocky Superstar, the man has gone out and beaten me twice, including in my specialty, a Ladder match, at Extreme Rules. I have to give him credit where it's due, he has been the better man. As for where I go next, just because I've lost some doesn't mean I'm going to give up. I've been entered into the Intercontinental Title Tournament and I plan on winning.” Christian says that all he needs is “one more match.”
- Divas Match: AJ Lee def. Tamina Snuka >> Despite her heart being broken by Daniel Bryan recently, AJ Lee managed to get over it for a bit and focus on the match. Tamina had the obvious power advantage but AJ used her quickness to wriggled out of trouble and eventually win with the Shining Wizard.
- AJ Lee stands to her feet to celebrate, but that is cut short by the music of the Divas Champion, Kharma. She slowly makes her way to the ring and poor AJ doesn't exit. Kharma pushes AJ hard once she gets in the ring. AJ gets to her feet and seems to snap, going a little crazy, and charging at Kharma. This was a clear mistake as Kharma stops her with a spinning back fist. AJ drops like a fly as Kharma begins to laugh. Kaitlyn, AJ's best friend, runs out and tries to help, but she eats an implant buster for her troubles. Why has the Divas Champion chosen to decimate AJ and Kaitlyn?
- Backstage, Ted Dibiase is shown walking towards the arena because he competes in an Intercontinental Title Tournament match, next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Before our first match in the Number One Contender's Tournament starts, the theme of the Intercontinental Champion himself hits. Cody Rhodes stands atop the ramp with a smug look on his face and a microphone in his hand. He says that at Extreme Rules he continued his run as the best Intercontinental Champion of all time by defeating Christian in a Ladder Match. While he believes that the number one contender's tournament is unfair, it doesn't change the fact that his title isn't gong anywhere. He is interrupted by the music of his former tag team partner, Ted Dibiase. Dibiase heads to the ring for a match as Cody looks on, unamused.
- Number One Contender's Tournament: Brodus Clay def. Ted Dibiase >> The first contest in the tournament featured two guys who were successful at Extreme Rules. Brodus Clay continued to showcase his ability as he's a relatively agile guy for his size. He was clearly still feeling the effects of his showdown with Big Show as Ted Dibiase was able to rally and seemed on the verge of victory shortly after the referee got knocked down. Suddenly, Drew McIntyre runs out and lays out Dibiase with his United States Title! He exits as the referee and Clay get to their feet. Clay splashes Dibiase and advances.
- The crowd jeers as Brodus Clay has moved one step closer to a shot at the Intercontinental Title. He leaves the ring and Drew McIntyre enters. The Sinister Scotsman picks up Ted Dibiase and plants him with the Future Shock. Why has Drew McIntyre attacked Ted Dibiase?
- We get a quick video of Xavier Woods, Naomi and Cameron. Xavier says that last week, Smackdown got funky and while he's unable to be there tonight, expect Smackdown to return to Funkytown next Friday night!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo airs for Raw this Monday night. After Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan all qualified for the Scramble Match at Over the Limit, they now all collide in a handicap match. CM Punk teams with Sheamus to face Ziggler, Henry and Bryan in a 3 on 2 bout!
- Backstage, Drew McIntyre is shown trying to leave the arena when Matt Striker catches up with him. Striker wants to know why Drew just assaulted Ted Dibiase. Drew tells him that Ted Dibiase has opposed John Laurinaitis for a long time now, especially at Extreme Rules, and he doesn't appreciate that. “Mr. Laurinaitis gave me the chance that turned me career around and he deserves respect. Ted Dibiase will learn that the hard way.”
- Number One Contender's Tournament: Rey Mysterio def. Heath Slater >> Unlike the previous first round matchup, this one was a bit easier to pick a winner. Heath Slater hasn't been on much of a roll recently, and Rey Mysterio is a former World Heavyweight Champion. He was able to win in a relatively short match with the 619.
- Rey Mysterio celebrates his win as the brackets for the Tournament are shown. Rey Mysterio will face Brodus Clay in the second round while the other half of the first round has yet to be revealed.
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo is shown for Over The Limit, which airs on Pay-Per-View Sunday, May 20th, 2012!
- Alberto Del Rio def. Mark Henry via disqualification >> It was clear from the bell that Mark Henry has been given clear instructions to try and injure Alberto Del Rio. He came out of the gates with big shots and really worked on Del Rio's ribs. Del Rio fought back to the crowd's liking and hit a loud enziguri. He began to slap on his wrist, signaling for the Cross Armbreaker. He locks it in on the “World's Strongest Man” until Wade Barrett runs down to the ring and begins to level him with right hands.
- Wade Barrett continues to pound away on Alberto Del Rio as David Otunga comes out to join him. Barrett hits Del Rio with the Wasteland before he and Otunga hold Del Rio in place so Mark Henry can splash him. It's clear that Alberto Del Rio has made an enemy out of John Laurinaitis and that's not a good thing for him.
- Randy Orton is shown walking towards the arena as he's going to call out Dean Ambrose next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- “Voices” is heard as Randy Orton makes his slow stroll to the ring in street clothes. A quick video is shown to remind the fans of Dean Ambrose's surprise attack on him at Extreme Rules. Orton grabs a microphone and begins to speak, saying that this past Sunday was supposed to be his retribution. He lost the World Heavyweight Title at the end of last year before his rivalry with Wade Barrett and then returned from injury to win the Royal Rumble. WrestleMania was going to be his crowning moment, but instead, Wade Barrett stole it from him. He wanted nothing more than to be locked in a Steel Cage with Wade with a chance to take his belt back and he got just that. Instead, Dean Ambrose decided to make an impact by debuting and slamming the Steel Cage door on his head. “Now, I don't know who you think you are Dean, but you've gone ahead and messed with the wrong man.” A theme song that we've never heard before hits as Dean Ambrose steps onto the stage with a microphone in hand. “Randall, Randall, Randall...I don't have to explain anything to you or anyone else. I slammed the Steel Cage door on your head because I wanted to.” As Dean speaks, he continues to walk towards the ring. He doesn't explain his actions but says that if Randy has a problem, he's more than happy to solve it. Ambrose enters the ring and charges at Orton and the two men brawl. The crowd pops huge for this as their fight spills outside. Officials rush down to separate both men. Ambrose breaks free and attacks Orton before Randy returns the favor. Smackdown goes off the air with these two trying their hardest to rip each other apart.

ALRIGHT! SMACKDOWN! HERE WE GO! LETS DO THIS YOU SPANISH HARLEM PUNK!
Having Wade Barrett open the show up, still the World Heavyweight Champion, is expected following the incident with Alberto Del Rio on Raw. Clearing things up is for the best, of course, and Del Rio having to face Mark Henry by orders of Big Johnny comes as such a shock! Of course, not really. He's a dink. People Power my ass. Cuss words. Anyway, first match featuring the WWE Tag Team Champions was fine, giving them the win was obvious here. Christian needing one more match, one more match. That is all he has to say! I don't see him getting to face Cody Rhodes again, but you've shown me to be wrong before so we'll see. AJ Lee beating Tamina Snuka was good, bringing her in to crazy mode is good-er. Albeit I don't care for the divas division, at least she can do some things in the ring. Charging at Kharma though? That's crazy. Dumb bimbo. Brodus Clay defeating Ted DiBiase is fine, keeps Clay with some momentum brewing off his Extreme Rules win against Big Show. Poor Ted DiBiase, though, huh? Drew McIntyre attacking him at least gives them both something to do. Ooh, nice three on two handicap match announced for Monday. That looks like it'll be good. Moving forward, Rey Mysterio beating Heath Slater in the Intercontinental Championship tournament comes as no surprise. I wouldn't be too surprised to see him win the whole tournament, honestly. Wade Barrett getting Alberto Del Rio the win via disqualification. Nothing major here, as it could be expected. Him laying out Del Rio in revenge mode was in good taste, though. A solid promo between Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose to end the show, but A.J. did it better. Wink, wink. I'm looking forward to how you develop the feud between the two and how you go forward with Ambrose. A solid edition of Smackdown, nothing too exciting but it progressed things.

A solid opening segment with World Heavyweight Champion, Wade Barrett, asserting his dominance after defeating Randy Orton yet again at Extreme Rules. Alberto Del Rio's interference worked well to further the building program between the two of them. Del Rio vs. Mark Henry seems like a more than acceptable main event for the show. ADR getting a submission win over him would be HUGE for momentum, though I don't believe that you will go that route seeing as how Henry will compete for the WWE Championship at Over the Limit. A tournament for the Intercontinental Championship number one contendership? Groovy. The Prime Time Players picking up a win in the opening contest is fine, nothing wrong there. I am interested in seeing which team dethrones them as the WWE Tag Team Champions. The look of your current star would lead me to believe The Usos could be the ones. AJ Lee picking up a win over Tamina Snuka was great, but, she charged at Kharma? Bitch be cray cray. Kharma going into a program with AJ and Kaitlyn warms my heart, primarily because it allows the latter two time to shine. Who else has AJ and Kaitlyn involved in a storyline with the Divas Champion? Brodus Clay versus Ted DiBiase is a decent way to start off the Intercontinental Championship number contenders tournament. I would imagine that there would have been better bouts to initiate the tournament, but whatevs. Brodus advancing makes me a bit sad, though not entirely as it looks like we're going to get a sweet feud between DiBiase and Drew McIntyre. Plus, I don't see Brodus winning anyways. Xavier Woods essentially got the "Funkasaurus" gimmick without the whole "saurus" part? Not bad. I don't see it doing that many favors for him, though. Alright, so the fuel behind McIntyre's actions was John Laurinaitis. Interesting. Rey Mysterio advancing in the tournament was a fair call. Him versus Brodus in the Semis? Sounds like a usual giant-overcoming victory for Rey. Wade Barrett causing the disqualification finish in the main event was the best way to go. The Barrett/Del Rio is really coming along well in its first week. Lastly, a great segment between Randy Orton and the newest superstar on the roster, Dean Ambrose. The brawl to close the show worked well and I can't wait to see what is next for the rivalry. A very good SmackDown overall, my Kevy nizzle.

May 7th, 2012 | Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina
- Following the intro video and pyro display, the commentary unit of Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome everyone to tonight's sold out broadcast of Monday Night Raw! Tonight, CM Punk will team with Sheamus to face Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler as the five Scramble Match participants collide. Plus, just before we came on the air, Mr. John Laurinaitis announced that the World Heavyweight Champion, Wade Barrett, will be in action against Ricardo Rodriguez of all people!
- The crowd pops loudly as the theme music of the WWE Champion, CM Punk hits and he walks down to the ring. Punk grabs a microphone from ringside and waits for the fans' loud reaction to die down before speaking. He says that last week, he didn't really get a chance to express his feelings on the Scramble Match except on commentary. Punk states that he first wants to address John Laurinaitis announcing that “his” World Champion is Wade Barrett. Punk was not surprised by this, as Laurinaitis has more than made it clear that he doesn't like or approve of CM Punk. While he gets thrown into a Scramble Match, Laurinaitis gives Wade Barrett a match against a ring announcer. “Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining though as I have no issues defending my WWE Title against four superstars because I am the best in the world and I continue to prove it. I proved it to Triple H, I proved it to John Laryngitis and I'll prove it again at Over the Limit.” He is interrupted by the shriek of “EXCUSE ME!” as Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler come out. Dolph says that there is no way that CM Punk escapes with the WWE Title because 2012 is his year to be the Champion and that will happen at Over the Limit. Punk shrugs it off, saying that he's beaten Dolph more than enough times this year.
- They are cut off by the theme of former World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, as the crowd begins to chant “Yes!” Bryan says that Dolph Ziggler has no right to stake any claim to the WWE Title because he's come up short in every single chance that he's gotten. Meanwhile, he's a former Money in the Bank winner and World Champion, so he knows what it takes to win the belt and he will take it from his old friend, CM Punk. Before Punk can retort, the crowd pops as Sheamus arrives on the scene. Punk rolls his eyes at the continuous interruption. Sheamus walks to the ring with a microphone in hand and he talks about how there hasn't been a guy in the WWE hotter than him of late. “Just ask Dolph how good I've been recently.” Dolph is not pleased with the comment and Punk says that the hottest Superstar in the WWE is it's champion as he raises the belt high in the air. All four men are in the ring when, of course, Mark Henry's theme hits and the “World's Strongest Man” comes out. He doesn't have a microphone as he enters the ring and immediately charges at CM Punk. A huge brawl ensues with the five Scramble Match participants until Punk is tossed outside and brings in a steel chair. He and Sheamus manage to clear the ring as we head to commercial.
- ===Commercial Break===
- United States Championship: Drew McIntyre [c] def. Zack Ryder >> The crowd was firmly into this bout as they wanted nothing more than to see Zack Ryder regain his United States Title. Much like the match these two had a few weeks ago, this was a solid back and forth match and Ryder came close to victory on a few occasions. He would hit the Broski Boot in the corner and square up for the Rough Ryder but Eve Torres walked down to the ring. Ryder got distracted, which allowed Drew McIntyre to connect with the Future Shock and retain.
- The audience boos as Eve Torres grabs the United States Title and hands it to Drew McIntyre. Michael Cole points out that both McIntyre and Eve are big supporters of John Laurinaitis and it's good to have a friend with power like that. He mentions that Ted Dibiase learned that the hard way on Smackdown.
- In the back, John Laurinaitis is shown watching on a monitor along with David Otunga and World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett. Laurinaitis says that guys like Drew McIntyre, who believe in him and “People Power” are doing very well for themselves. He mentions that Wade will have a great match with Ricardo Rodriguez tonight and he feels that David Otunga should be rewarded as well. He tells Otunga that tonight, he will have a match as part of the Tournament to become the Number One Contender for the Intercontinental Title. Otunga thanks him and exits to get ready.
- ===Commercial Break===
- Another vignette airs with Zeb Colter. “For weeks I have said that the state of patriotism in the WWE is embarrassing and it still is. Not a single WWE Superstar is has shown any respect for this beautiful country. Hell, even the National Anthem, the greatest song in history, isn't even performed on weekly television. It is done off camera, which I consider to be disgusting. Next week on Raw, I will introduce you to my group of Real Americans.” He ends the promo with a hearty “We The People” as it looks like we'll finally find out what all of this means next week.
- Returning, Ricardo Rodriguez is shown in the back and he's visibly shaken. Alberto Del Rio enters to a big pop as he tells Ricardo not to worry because he'll be there to support him tonight. Ricardo says that he's not a wrestler and Wade Barrett is going to destroy him tonight. Del Rio says that they still have some time before the match, so he's going to try and teach him a few things. He starts to show him the Cross Armbreaker when Eve Torres enters. She is “sorry to interrupt” but she informs them that Del Rio is barred from ringside during the match tonight. She leaves and Ricardo is freaking out all over again.
- ===Commercial Break===
- The Chickbusters def. The Bella Twins >> As the divas made their entrances, a recap is shown from Smackdown when Kharma attacked AJ Lee after her victory, only for Kaitlyn to try and make the save and get taken out as well. This was your typical Divas bout, but it's fascinating to see the chemistry that Kaitlyn and AJ Lee have together. Kaitlyn earns the victory by Spearing Nikki Bella.
- AJ Lee and Kaitlyn hug after the match to celebrate their win. Their fun is cut short by the sound of laughter as Kharma's music hits. Instead of coming out, she appears on screen in a dark room. The camera pans down to the table in front of her, in which there are figures of Kaitlyn and AJ. She picks up each and pulls them apart, breaking the figures. When she's done, she begins to laugh again as the camera sees Kaitlyn and AJ looking disturbed in the ring.
- Backstage, John Cena is shown walking towards the arena. One has to assume he'll be addressing Chris Jericho after being cost a spot in the Scramble Match last week.
- Before the commercial, we get another video clip of The Miz and Mason Ryan on the set of the Marine 3. This one shows both men in Miz's trailer going over lines. Mason botches a line and Miz begins to get upset. “Mason, you need to get this right. It's going to play a valuable part in my road to an Oscar.” He notices that he gets a bit of an angry look from Mason, so he adds on that it will help Mason gets to the levels of success that he's reached in his WWE career. “When we get back to the WWE, not only will you be a charisma machine like me, but you'll also be able to protect this moneymaker from taking damage. Trust me Mason, things are only going to get better.”
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for Smackdown on SyFy airs. Last week's Smackdown went off the air with a huge brawl between Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton. With just ten days until Over the Limit, John Laurinaitis has promised a huge announcement regarding these two. Plus, WWE Champion CM Punk makes an appearance as he goes one on one with one of his Scramble Match opponents, Mark Henry!
- A mixed reaction from the WWE Universe is heard as John Cena steps through the curtain and has a serious look on his face. He enters the squared circle as the fans continue to trade “Let's Go Cena! Cena Sucks!” chants. He allows them to quiet down before talking about last week. He says that there were two things on his agenda. One was to qualify for the Scramble Match and win back the WWE Title that he hasn't held since October and the other was to extract some revenge on Chris Jericho. “Since the start of the year, we've been on two separate paths. Chris has been determined to destroy the WWE but he's come up short and he blames his need to beat me for that. Meanwhile, I've failed a lot too. I'm not afraid to admit it. I lost to Kane at the Royal Rumble, I couldn't beat the Rock at WrestleMania and Jericho beat me at Extreme Rules.” He says that he will not let his struggles continue and he will beat Jericho.
- This brings out Chris Jericho, in his now trademark hoodie. He stays atop the ramp and has a microphone in hand as he speaks in a slow tone. He says that he is still back to destroy the WWE and, while he started slow, beating John Cena will be the turning point. He blames Cena for his struggles and claims that everything is going to change now. He will get his shot at the WWE Title and he will destroy the WWE. John Cena interjects and starts poking at Jericho saying that even though he did win at Extreme Rules, he has still been unable to pin him. Cena reels off names of future Hall of Famers that Jericho has pinned including Triple H and the Undertaker, but he's never pinned Jericho. Cena challenges Jericho to another match, this one at Over the Limit. He dares Jericho to put his money where his mouth is and actually pin him or make him submit. Jericho chuckles and calls Cena pitiful but says that he accepts. He knows that the WWE Title match is already set so he has no qualms with spending another month beating Cena up. It looks like our second match for Over the Limit is set!
- ===Commercial Break===
- Returning, Scott Stanford is standing by with Zack Ryder. He asks for Ryder's feelings after losing his United States Championship rematch earlier. Ryder says that he's crushed. Winning that title last year was a dream come true and he even got to defend it at WrestleMania. But Eve and John Laurinaitis have crushed that dream. He walks off with his head down as the camera catches Kane watching from afar.
- Ricardo Rodriguez comes to the ring to generic Spanish music and he looks fearful for his life. He gets in the ring and once Wade Barrett's theme hits, he goes into full on panic mode. Barrett struts to the ring with a huge smile on his face.
- Non-Title Match: World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett def. Ricardo Rodriguez >> This was as one-sided as a one-sided match can be. Ricardo Rodriguez did nothing as once Wade Barrett entered the ring, he walloped him with a vicious elbow to the face. From there on, it was just Wade completely toying with Ricardo. He finished him off with the Wasteland.
- As soon as the closing bell rings, Alberto Del Rio runs to the ring to a huge pop. Wade Barrett doesn't see it coming as Del Rio fires away on him with right hands, knocking him outside of the ring. Del Rio doesn't stop there as he follows outside but Barrett scrambles to grab his title and escapes through the crowd. Del Rio stops giving chase as he goes back in the ring to check on Ricardo.
- A graphic is shown for the big handicap tag team main event tonight.
- ===Commercial Break===
- As we come back to Raw, Ricardo Rodriguez is being checked on by paramedics in the back. Alberto Del Rio is standing next to him and he looks incredibly furious. Scott Stanford enters to ask questions but Del Rio snatches the microphone from him and speaks to the camera. “John Laurinaitis. Wade Barrett. You perros. You've gone too far. I will get my hands on both of you and when I do, nothing and no amount of officials you send at me will stop me.”
- Cutting to the General Manager's office, John Laurinaitis is staring at the screen with a scared look on his face. He does a huge gulp that Vince McMahon would be proud of. David Otunga tells him that everything will be fine before he exits for his upcoming match.
- Number One Contender's Tournament: David Otunga def. Sin Cara >> Since his return from injury, it's been noted that Sin Cara has stepped up his in ring work. This wasn't the best of matches but David Otunga has done a really good job of drawing solid heat. He picks up a win to advance in this tournament with the Verdict.
- David Otunga decides to celebrate his victory with a series of poses as the crowd boos loudly. He joins Brodus Clay and Rey Mysterio in the Semi-Finals of the Tournament. A graphic pops up informing the fans that the last First Round match will happen on Smackdown this Friday when R-Truth takes on Christian.
- In the back, CM Punk is shown walking towards the arena as the main event is next!
- ===Commercial Break===
- A promo for NXT this Wednesday airs. Witness the start of the Tournament to crown the first ever NXT Champion!
- Handicap Match: Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Mark Henry w/ Vickie Guerrero def. WWE Champion CM Punk and Sheamus >> This was what you would expect from a handicap match. CM Punk and Sheamus fought hard but fell victim to the numbers disadvantage. The heels cheated in multiple ways as they worked over and isolated CM Punk. The Champion managed to make the hot tag to the “Celtic Warrior”, who came in and cleaned house. However, he fell victim to a timely distraction from Vickie Guerrero, which allowed Mark Henry to put him down with the World's Strongest Slam.
- Mark Henry raises his arms in the air and shouts “THAT'S WHAT I DO!” He is caught from behind by a Zig Zag as Dolph Ziggler jumps to his feet and slicks back his hair. CM Punk slides into the ring, turns Dolph around and nails him with the GTS. He gets handed the WWE Title and lifts it high in the air. His celebration is cut short by a steel chair shot to the back from Daniel Bryan! Bryan picks up the WWE Title and runs around the ring with it shouting “Yes!” at the top of his lungs.

A good opening to the show here on Raw with the scramble match participants going brawl city. Good opener and obviously the right call to keep Drew McIntyre the United States Champion while in the fold with Big Johnny. Of course David Otunga is in the Intercontinental Championship tournament. We! The People! Next week on Raw! Let's go. Alberto Del Rio being banned from ringside is grand. The Chickbusters, eh? More like the titbusters. Haha, except for AJ. Glad to see them win though. The Miz really is a taint, isn't he? A solid promo between John Cena and Chris Jericho and a match between the two being set for Over the Limit and hopefully it has a stipulation. Kane is watching Ryder. Watching him. Of course, without Alberto at ringside Wade Barrett defeating Ricardo Rodriguez like a bitch. People Power totally isn't being abused, damn it! David Otunga advancing in the number one contender's tournament is fine, I just don't expect him to win it all. Finally, a good main event with Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Mark Henry beating CM Punk and Sheamus. Good call to have Sheamus pinned by Mark Henry, as there isn't much expectation for either one of them to win the title at Over the Limit. Nice stuff afterward to promote the match, too. A good edition of Raw.

The NXT Report May 9th, 2012 | Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
| Headlines
- The biggest news coming out of NXT this week was the beginning of the Tournament to crown the first ever NXT Champion. General Manager Dusty Rhodes announced it last week and it kicked off here with two first round matchups. The first one featured former NXT Season 2 participant “Showtime” Percy Watson took on the “Intellectual Savior of the Masses” Damien Sandow. The second pit Michael McGillicutty against debuting superstar Sami Zayn. Zayn is the man that Dusty Rhodes said would debut and get a spot in the Tournament due to his history of competing around the world. What the fans were treated to was two really good matches, but the McGillicutty/Zayn match stole the show clearly.
- The show opened with a promo from Seth Rollins, who came out to discuss the fact that Kassius Ohno has targeted him recently. They’ve had issues since the debut edition of NXT and it culminated when Ohno struck him with a steel chair last week. He called out Ohno, who happily obliged and got right in Seth’s face. Ohno stated that he didn’t like pretty boys like Seth and he took joy in knocking them out. Seth dared him to try it right then and there but Ohno shook his head and claims that he does things on his own terms. Seth challenged him but Ohno declined saying that he’s getting ready for his NXT Tournament match and he thinks that Seth should do the same before he gets eliminated in the first round and never makes it to a match with Ohno, who promised to make the finals. Ohno goes to leave as Rollins turned to the crowd. Ohno quickly got back in and leveled Seth with the KO, knocking him out in the middle of the ring.

- A vignette aired of Leo Kruger cutting a promo on Richie Steamboat. He said that he’s on the hunt for Steamboat and the NXT Championship.
- The tag team of The Ascension suffered a surprising loss to NXT’s hottest tag team, Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey. Neville hit his amazing Red Arrow finisher from the top rope to pin Viktor after 8:47 of action.
- The NXT Tournament’s first match featured Damien Sandow besting Percy Watson in 6:31. Sandow was in control for most of the match, working Watson’s neck. Percy made a valiant rally but fell victim to The Silencer.
- Big E Langston was interviewed in the back and claimed that everyone talking about becoming NXT Champion is delusional. He shows off his impressive physique and says that no man in NXT can compare to him, especially Bo Dallas.
- According to General Manager Dusty Rhodes, he filled fifteen slots in the NXT Title Tournament and wanted to give two guys who have yet to win on NXT a chance to earn the final spot. Brad Maddox stepped into the ring against Mike Dalton and the two men delivered a fine match but there wasn’t much to it. It wasn’t anything special but Brad Maddox found a way to earn the win and a spot in the Tournament!
- William Regal informed the fans at home that next week, we would witness two more NXT Title Tournament matches! Seth Rollins would step into the ring against former WWE Tag Team Champion Curt Hawkins, while Derrick Bateman faces Leo Kruger!
- Michael McGillicutty and Johnny Curtis came to the ring and McGillicutty grabbed a microphone. He stated that last week, they once again proved that they are the class of NXT and not this new wave of talent. He heard that he would be facing someone that has yet to even debut and it turns out to be Sami Zayn. The crowd isn’t sure how to react to him but they warmed up to him during the match thanks to his amazing skills. The contest featured multiple near falls and Zayn wowed the audience. He won following a HUGE running big boot in the corner after 17:19.

I'm not a very big NXT-guyer, but since it is your first show back I felt like I had to show you the love. Plus, you replied to me and I'll feel bad if I don't. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of the format as I've said to Rated R and Dan, but where do I have room to talk? Anyway, it's better than nothing and if it keeps this board active more power to y'all. (Fist pump, Nation fist raise).
Moving on to the actual show, I'm glad to see an NXT Championship tournament take place and I'm so glad with the three guys that won - even though only two of them actually advanced - as I would take Zayn or Sandow as NXT Champion right away. Hell, Maddox wouldn't be that bad but I like those guys a lot more. Looking forward to having you back, Kev. Hopefully not for, like, two days this time.

Smackdown Report May 11th, 2012 | Roanoke Civic Center in Roanoke, Virginia
| Headlines
- Smackdown opened with the arrival of World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett, John Laurinaitis, David Otunga, Eve and Drew McIntyre. It seems as if John Laurinaitis has found himself a small legion of followers. They talk about Wade Barrett teaching Ricardo Rodriguez and Alberto Del Rio a lesson on Monday and brag about the group of people in the ring being the keys to this business. Laurinaitis puts over Barrett as the World Champion that the company deserves and how he found a diamond in the rough that Teddy Long screwed over in Drew McIntyre because Teddy doesn’t have an eye for talent. They are cut off by Alberto Del Rio who stays atop the ramp and says that what Wade did on Raw was despicable and says that he wants a shot at Wade’s title. Wade and Laurinaitis laugh it off but Laurinaitis says that he needs to be taught a lesson. Because he’s about opportunity, Del Rio will face Drew McIntyre tonight and if he wins he can get a shot at Wade at Over the Limit.
- Towards the middle of the program, John Laurinaitis graced the crowd in Roanoke with his presence again. He showed clips of the huge brawl between Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton last week before asking both men to come to the ring. Randy Orton obliged but Dean Ambrose was nowhere to be found. His voice is heard and it turns out he’s up in the stands, claiming that he does what he wants. Laurinaitis announces that a brawl to end Smackdown is not something that should happen. There needs to be order and they can’t keep doing this. He has decided that if Dean is going to be under contract, he needs to compete, so, at Over the Limit he will step into the ring with Randy Orton! The crowd pops at the announcement and Orton seems satisfied. Ambrose, still speaking from the stands, says that Laurinaitis may have just made a mistake. He understands that Orton is a money making machine for Smackdown and Laurinaitis has just sanctioned his execution. Ambrose promises to show the WWE Universe what someone who really has voices speaking to him is like. At Over the Limit, the Lunatic Fringe meets the Viper!

- The final match in the First Round of the Number One Contender’s Tournament for the Intercontinental Title took place as Christian met R-Truth. The Champion, Cody Rhodes, was on commentary during the match and ran down the man he’s beaten on two consecutive Pay-Per-Views, Christian. Despite his harsh words, Christian prevailed after hitting Truth with the Killswitch. He stared down Cody before exiting.
- To continue their trend of teaming together, best friends AJ Lee and Kaitlyn took on Alicia Fox and Aksana. Fox and Aksana did fine together, but the chemistry between AJ and Kaitlyn was dynamite as the best friends certainly know each other well. AJ, however, does continue to show a bit of a “crazy” streak since being dumped by Daniel Bryan and she went after Aksana aggressively. Kaitlyn won for the Chickbusters with a Spear. After the match, Kharma again appeared on the titantron destroying AJ and Kaitlyn action figures before laughing.
- Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan each got a chance to say a piece about the upcoming Scramble Match since they would not be competing on this show. Dolph states that he is “so sick of being so sick” and that it is time for the best guy in the WWE to hold its Championship. Sheamus discusses the hot streak that he was on at the tail end of 2011 and his recent issues with Dolph Ziggler. He proved that he is still on a roll when he beat Dolph at Extreme Rules and that will continue at Over the Limit. Daniel Bryan’s promo was more focused on the fact that he feels he unjustly lost the title in the first place. However, with AJ Lee out of his life, the WWE Title is all but his.
- Visiting from Raw, the WWE Champion CM Punk appeared on Smackdown to face the former World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry. Henry stood tall on Raw over his Scramble Match opponents and continued his wave of momentum here. Even though CM Punk has been fantastic as Champion, only losing a non-title contest to Dolph Ziggler this year, he did suffer defeat here. Thanks to a timely distraction from Daniel Bryan, who came to ringside, Henry was able to put down the WWE Champion with the World’s Strongest Slam. Bryan didn’t dare get into the ring with Henry, who raised the WWE Title in the air.
- Two weeks ago, the “Funkiest Superstar” in WWE history, Xavier Woods made his debut on Smackdown. He would face off against the “One Man Band” Heath Slater here. Slater performed a musical number before the match to show Cameron and Naomi just how “funky” he could get. The fans, the ladies and Xavier Woods weren’t feeling it so Woods took it to Slater and bested him before dancing after the match.
- After retaining the WWE Tag Team Titles in a Fatal Four Way Tables Match, the Prime Time Players and Abraham Washington have been riding high. As evidenced by the competition they faced at Extreme Rules, the tag team division is heating up though and two of the fiercest teams when at it on Smackdown. The Usos took on International Airstrike in what was very close to being the match of the night. Both teams took to the air and utilized high impact maneuvers to try and move up in the tag ranks. In the end, International Airstrike pulled this one out after Justin Gabriel hit Jimmy Uso with the 450 splash.
- An announcement was made for this Monday Night on Raw stating that CM Punk will be facing former World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan in a huge non-title bout!
- John Laurinaitis’ personal assistant, Eve Torres, takes joy in informing AJ Lee and Kaitlyn that they will be stepping into the ring again this Monday on Raw, but not as partners. They will go one on one with a shot at Kharma’s Divas Championship on the line. Kaitlyn and AJ do not look pleased with the news.
- In the main event of the evening, Alberto Del Rio took on Drew McIntyre. McIntyre tried to do everything in his power to prevent Del Rio from earning a World Title shot even trying to gather a count out victory. Del Rio fought valiantly and rallied behind the crowd. Wade Barrett strutted to ringside to distract Del Rio, nearly leading to a win for McIntyre. Wade then distracted the referee, which allowed McIntyre to grab his United States Title. Ted Dibiase appeared and stopped McIntyre before hitting him with a right hand. McIntyre turned and was grabbed into the Cross Armbreaker. Dibiase took it to Wade, allowing the referee to catch McIntyre tapping out. Wade Barrett broke free from Dibiase and was livid as Del Rio celebrated his victory and now has a date with Wade at Over the Limit.

Kev just some quick words. Glad to see you writing again. I know you keep yourself busy with everything else you do but hope to see this stick around.
2012 was a horrible stale time for the WWE in my opinion and feel like you are starting to make it your own.
I like Del Rio as a face.
Format if it works for you it works for me the more people posting the better.
Check out TNA70 when you get a chance.
