I can vouch for the fact that they exist, because I saw him signing a ton of both recently, and I am completely aware that this is going to sound like a huge lie. A couple of years ago, I went to one of Hulk Hogan's "Back from the Brink" speaking tour shows in Greensboro, which was advertised as Hogan talking about his career, but turned out to be nothing more than him shilling weight loss shakes. Anyway, I ended up buying the VIP package for $100 because it meant you got to meet him and get something signed, and it included a front row seat to the event. I couldn't decide on a figure, so I ended up bringing a WWF promo photo. It turned out that he was signing as many things as you had for no additional charge. Not only that, but he had brought Brutus Beefcake and Eric Bischoff along as "surprise guests," (Eric ended us being the interviewer during the show and Brutus was a 'guest') and they were doing the same thing! I ended up getting my ticket to the show (which I apparently dropped in the @#$% parking garage), an index card (I go to enough conventions to know to keep those handy in the car), and one of the photos he was selling there signed too, but some people basically brought wagonloads of merch to get signed - just plastic totes of figures upon figures, which Hulk freakin' Hogan just sat there and patiently signed. All the while, salespeople kept trying to push that weight loss shake on people, so I suppose that was the reason it was happening. I had sooo many things I could have gotten signed, had they mentioned that would happen, but it's easy to see why they didn't. If I didn't mind kind of imposing on him, I could have hypothetically gotten all of Hogan's carded Hasbro figures, two LJNs, and most of his CS figures, along with both Hasbro Brutus-es and his CS figure signed in one fell swoop for $100 total. I can say with extreme certainty that there aren't many people kicking themselves as hard as I am over that, but at least I got to get my picture with Hogan, which is worth much more than an autograph, to me. I was at this Greensboro event too and kicking myself for only bringing one item (a vintage Hulkamania shirt). The couple in front of me in line had him sign at least a dozen items. And my photo with Hulk turned out blurry.

I agree with the poster who said that the Classic Superstars sign the best. Because of the window packaging, they do. Hasbro's would be next in line because of the large photo. Signed over the WWF logo isn't a bad spot either. LJNs are my least favorite for autographs, although I do have about twenty or so signed. They're hit or miss. The talent usually doesn't have a clue as to where to sign them, and because of the large amount of figure and bubble and small card area, they often have to sign in an awkward position.
I will say that Hulk will probably turn out well. He's very spot on as far as knowing where to sign things. I have yet to have him sign any LJNs or Hasbros because I have a few other figures signed by him, but at least one will be on the agenda next time. I have an unpunched Hogan #1 and the one that you have, and I'll probably go with #1. Silver would be the best option on the black carded one, and I've been tending to shy away from them as of late. You never know when the talent would press hard enough or the Sharpie won't be quite as good and the autograph will be lackluster. I had my Haku signed and it's nice, but between Haku having a small signature to begin with and the portion of the black card that he signed, you really have to be close to notice it. Thankfully the Sharpie at least worked well.

They were all signed at the same time. Met him at airport. But if I did not have that opportunity 100% I would have paid to get them signed. Good thing you had all those figures in your carry-on luggage at the time

Hey, I have some Hasbros signed, but there in boxes in the attic. I had them on my bedroom wall for years but last summer I had new windows installed & I took em all down. (they were there so long I actually just went in there with the digital cam to take pics lol) Im gonna see if the wife will clear out the way to the attic so I can get em out as its thru a closet. If I can I will make a post or new thread.
I have:
Machoman Savage: 3nd edition with coat. He signed at GNC store in Schomberg, IL. in 94, I think. Summerslam was coming to United Center in Chi that year.
Ric Flair: He signed at Aronson Furiture (seriously lol) in like 96 or 97 to promote Nitro. The guy I was with had this one singed as I was getting my Galoob signed & Ric actually signed the back of the card which sucks lol.
Owen Hart & British Bulldog: They were in Chicago sgning at a toys r us to promote Wrestlemania 13 (i think, the one in Chicago). Both were great guys and talked to us a bit. When I pulled out the Hasbros, Owen said WOW, THATS A REAL BLAST FROM THE PAST! I didnt know before I got there, but Sid was across the street signing copies of some WWF music CD/Cassette at a music store. We went over and bought one and got it signed, but I wish I woulda known I'd have brought my Galoob & Hasbro to get signed! ________________________________ other figures signed:
I met Lex Luger (& Elizabeth) in Rockford IL., 1998 but Im not sure if I got him to sign a Hasbro. I got a Sting & Luger 2 pack Galoob signed (got it signed bt Sting in 97 also!) & a carded UK Galoob Luger w/robe figure signed as well! I told Lex "Man I paid 150 bucks for this!" & he said "I DONT EVEN HAVE ONE OF THESE, BUT I WOULDN'T EVEN PAY 150 BUCKS FOR ONE!" LOL. I also got a few ToyBiz figs signed including the rare repaint from the 1st series.
I met Sting in 97 at Dominicks food store in Chi. I got a bunch figures signed. I got the Galoob 2 pack, 1st series rubber OSFCA & & several others from that line as well. A few ToyBiz & a Clash of the Champions ToyBiz Sting vs Hogan 2 pack!
I met Hulk Hogan in Chi at Tower records, I think it was 2000 when he made one of his comebacks in WCW (the yellow n red comeback I believe). They were VERY strict & saig ONLY 1 SIGNATURE A PERSON & ONLY ON A FLYER! But several people came out saying if you present him with something he likes, he will sign it. I had a 1st series Hasbro with me, but also my ToyBiz Sting vs Hogan 2 pack which was already signed by Sting so I had to get that one! I pulled it out of the bag and several of his possy started screaming NOTHING BUT FLYERS, NOTHING BUT FLYERS! But I got it up in front of him & he hesitated a moment, so I said "COME ON HULK, I GOT STING TO SIGN THIS A FEW YEARS AGO". Once he saw the Sting signature, he signed it. I was trying to get the Hasbro out when they pushed us on.
Giant (Paul White): Met him at a grocery store in Chi in 97. Luger was supposed to be there as well but it was said he had the stomach flu. He signed a blue card OSFTC rubber fig.
I actually think there's a few more, but I can't remember.
just met wrestlers: I met Jesse Ventura at Spring Stampede & got my stub signed. Met Rick Rude in the parking lot same day, I HAD A HASBRO WITH ME but lost my marker & he was in a hurry to get in and avoid us all. If I had my marker, I think he'd of signed it.
Met Nasty Boys the same day across the street from venue. WCW said COME EARLY TO THE ARENA AND MEET SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE WCW STARS! So I brought a crapload of Galoob & some Hasbros in hopes to get some signed. Before I left, I looked at the Nasty's hanging on the wall by the LOD but didnt get em down. Turns out THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES THERE & SIGNING!

neznarf69 brings back memories. Back in the 1990s WCW would come to Baltimore Arena several times a year. For the first day of ticket sales they would have an autograph session at the arena. On the day or two before the show they would have signers. I've never heard of Aronson's Furniture though a furniture store may not have been too strange for WCW. In 1997 (the same day and nearly the same time so I had to rush from one to the other) they had Chris Jericho at one furniture store and Buff and Norton as another.

Oh, ya someone mentioned auto shows in a different thread which reminded me I met Kevin Nash at a Model & Train expo in Chicago & got a 1st series JAXX Diesel signed. He signed it "Diesel AKA Kevin Nash"!
