I've read Bret Harts book, along with both of Jerichos books. I couldn't imagine what Jim's book would be like... I'd defiantly buy one Probably not. I've never been a JR fan and don't need to read about how he loves Steve Austin when we saw him do it live on a weekly basis. What the hell is wrong with you? How does one not like Jim Ross, of all people?!

A first hand account of the life & career of the single most prolific, compelling, voice to ever speak on behalf of the collective history of all Professional Wrestling?
In a God damn New York second sir!!!

Because he's buried more talent than any other commentator ever and despite being face for 99.999999'% of his career, he clearly showed his backstage biases on screen.

I would for sure. He is one of the best personalities in Wrestling/WWE history and is someone who has been there for a lot of great time periods.

I simply felt the guy was way too over the top and professed his love for Steve Austin constantly. I wouldn't give two craps if the guy wrote a book. And most importantly (as stated by Anvil), he used his friendship w/ Austin and backstage power to hold back anyone he or Steve did not get along with. Not sure why my opinion and refusal to buy a book of his if he wrote one affects you in any way.

As long as its published by a non-WWE affiliated company, sure. If it was promoted and published through WWE channels it would just be written very one-sidedly. I'd want JR to write about his story not and not a WWE cut-paste job.

I dunno.... I'm not a Jim Ross hater by any means - I read his blogs sometimes, I tend to find them a little rambling and sometimes even boring - a little too "politically correct"..... mostly devolving into self-promotions about barbeque sauce. I generally give up before I get to the end of a 1-page blog... Not sure if I'd have the patience for 300 pages of that kind of writing...
Since he blogs so often - I feel like I already know a lot of his thoughts & stories on the wonderful world of wrestling. Would the book just be a compilation of all his blogs?
As LeighD said - if WWE published this, it would be all the standard company lines he's been spewing for years anyway..... however, if it was independently published, and featured backstage insight that we have not heard before - I might consider it.... once it hits paperback or the clearance aisle.

In a heartbeat.
I've read most WWE's books and loved most of them (Batista and Mysterio the exceptions)
JR's would be great
