That's an Ok custom. It's a dead giveaway its a replica because it has a back seat in it. There was an Ecto 1 at a car show that I went to once and it was a pretty bad replica because the owner made it out of a 1970s Ford wagon instead of a 1959 Cadillac Miller Meteor ambulance. Did you ask the owner what car he used to build his Batmobile? Really? I would have though the dead give away (if not the windshield) would have been the near impossibility of finding a concept Futura at a cost worth sinking the extra money of customization into. I love a good custom. Sure spot on replicas are cool, but there's an air of creativity involved in working with what you can get, especially when you get as close to detail as you can when working with a different base. Dig this Chevy HHR that a local group tricked into an Ecto car. Before I tore the door off my first car ages and eons ago, I was looking into building the world's first Ecto '92 Tempo. There is a kit car company called Fiberglass Freaks that has the DC Comics license to produce replica 1966 Batmobile's. The base price is $79,999 and the ultra luxurious one is $239,999 www.fiberglassfreaks.com/joomla/index.php/homehttp://www.fiberglassfreaks.com/joomla/index.php/home

That's pretty cool. There was a local car dealership here near me who had replica cars for sale from the Dukes of Hazard (The General Lee) & Ghostbusters (Cadillac Ambulance). They sat for quite a while.
