Hey guys,
If it hasn't been too obvious, time to lay it out a little clearer. Today is my last day at Ringside Collectibles.
I am moving to Boston and pursuing the next step in my career and my life. This includes what you saw in the teaser for Indy Cred, which is wrestling for fun and above all, filmmaking. One of my favorite things. Time to reignite the flow of some creative juices that have been clogged for a while.
I'm also in love and have had a pretty rough, Romeo-like year being in a long distance relationship and I am ready to change that. So now you have the personal side and the business side and all signs are pointing to moving on and taking the next step in multiple ways.
I began at Ringside packing in the warehouse in the morning and working customer service in the afternoon and then shifted to just customer service over a 6th month period and one of the busiest Christmases I could ever imagine. Luckily, Ringside noticed my film background and asked Joey and I to come up with what became Ringside's YouTube channel. You know this side of the story.
I always wanted to give everyone more and my creative side, irritatingly for everyone else I'm sure at times, was always sticking out like a sore thumb for me. It was always something I had to fill, always a release I had to make. After Joey left it was all on my shoulders and I tried to keep the momentum going and pitched the idea for Ringside or Riot. Hopefully you've had some good times as I used that show as a creative outlet and guinea pig.
It's a really unique place here and there is honestly nothing else on the internet like it. No Batman version of RSC, no GI Joe version. You have something here no one else has and I hope all of you appreciate it like I did and will continue to do. It's interesting and cool.
I owe the success of all the hard work I've put in here, the video, the marketing, the things you have no idea (and will never know) I may or may not have been doing, the random odd job, to all of you...both fans, customers, whatever you would like to consider yourselves. I like to consider you people I 'hang around' with and talk about something fun. Don't ever forget that. I'm not into the idea of fans and I don't really think I ever will be because you are no different than me, whether you liked me, disliked me or were indifferent.
With a bit of a heavy heart but excitement over continuing to work with RSC (Tom's dead...but Dramatico lives...) I say goodbye from the standpoint of a regular basis and would like to let you know you're in good hands. Sean, Jerry, everyone else you don't know about or see and everyone you could potentially see in the future are all very enthusiastic and don't just want to shill a product, they want to have real fun. That was my only goal this entire time, to keep it fun, honest and entertaining. The content here truly can't be beaten and I gladly accept the fact that at times we've had more fun here than we did with that weeks episode of RAW.
Whenever/wherever my first match is, I hope to see many of you there if you're in the area and please, if you ever see me out and about anywhere in the country, anywhere in the world, say hi. I'm happy to know you.
Also, I don't really have an attachment to any other forum. If I need a message board fix, this is my home on the internet. It's that simple!
It's been a blast. Keep supporting WFigs and RSC, keep enjoying your hobby with a light heart, a relaxed demeanor and a big smile and above all, don't ever lose your passion for the wonderful world of professional wrestling. You guys helped me reawaken mine.
I'll see ya when I see ya!
