Whats your thoughts on this and what do you think TNA is going to do?
I for one am thrilled and think there going to put the belt on him and I think this is Hogan last month in TNA. His contract is up in October and it feels like a mutual relationship that it would be best for both to part ways. I'm saying right now you can quote me, by 2014 TNA will take a full 180 turn around. The rest of this year looks great if AJ wins the belt at BFG and now FINALLY the A&8's are over, Hogan's days around TNA may be limited and TNA's atucal WRESTLING is looking great! Tonight we had 3 great matches AJ/Aries, Ken/Bully and Magnus/AJ.

It was the obvious thing to do, and I'm glad they stuck to it. I would have rather seen Bobby Roode vs AJ though personally, just personal preference. I don't think Magnus really walked away with anything by not winning. Magnus is the only other guy I think even had a shot to win though so maybe that's why they created that scenario. I'm excited to see if they sort of turn AJ's frustrations more directly on Dixie. It's kind of bad timing though as we are getting Daniel Bryan vs the McMahons and TNA should avoid telling the same story. Whatever gets the title on AJ though.
I'm completely over Aces & 8's. That group needs to go away as quickly as possible after BFG.

I'm glad TNA stuck with this for AJ. I predicted at BFG last year he'd win the belt the following year. While some parts of the storyline weren't great, I'm glad they are seeing this through.
I expect him to call out Dixie & say his contract is up the night after BFG & he's taking the belt with him, or something like that.

Thats TNA's exact problem it will be an exact replica of what WWE did with Summer of Punk.

Playing off dirtsheet reports and pushing it into your storyline is a receipe for success. Now can they NOT screw it up like WWE and rush him back so fast. I would have him popping up in the crowd or indy shows or whatever.....just not defending the title on Impact.

While it is a take off of the Punk angle, (God bless me for saying this) but they could actually do it the way it should of been done. But it's no secret AJ's contract has been brought up for months now. They can play it into the storyline & by seeing what the WWE did, could learn how to not screw it up. I will be the first to admit the AJ story hasn't been 100% smooth sailing since last years BFG, but they have the blueprint on what to do & not do. As deep into this as they are, maybe...just maybe they'll get it right. I also like CM's idea of taking the title to the indys. I could just imagine the reaction he'd get if he walked into PWG or ROH with it, claiming to be the real world champion.

They should actually have AJ take the title to the indys and actually defend it in ROH and PWG.
I'd love for him to say something like he should've stood up to her when she tried to keep guys from wrestling the independents the first time and that he should've went to ROH. Then have them cut out to a technical difficulties.
Have him actually wrestle on the independents for a good 3 months. I'd even have them not mention his name on TNA. Have him defend the title in ROH and Japan and wrestle on ROH TV with it. Finally have him announce on an ROH show that he's signed with a certain company and will make his first appearance in 2 weeks. Then have him say See You Soon Daniel.
Only then have him appear on the next Impact jumping the guard rail during an entrance and they cut the cameras off immediately. They come back on in a few minutes with a taped promo of the guy who got jumped talking about how he won his match tonight. Then have the commentators not mention anything.
Then make a deal with TMZ to post a photo of AJ in a police arrest photo. Have them say they dropped the charges though.
Have AJ go online and post a video on a youtube account and retweet the link saying that they made a bad decision not pressing charges because he is going to do it again on the live PPV where if they cut it off they have to refund money and he'll get to speak his mind.
Then at the PPV have security around ringside during the whole show and don't acknowledge it. Then have AJ jump the guard rail and scale the cage quick with a mic. Then have him pull out a paper while the announcers are telling them to cut to replays but they don't. Then have AJ start talking about the paper mysteriously in big terms. Then have him toss the paper in the ring and say basically AJ Styles has been resigned by the general manager of TNA.
By then though they'd have to have dropped Hogan and Bischoff as being employed and fans don't know anything about a general manager. Out comes on the next Impact Wrestling to start the show Scott D'Amore. Have him announce he is back and in charge and is bringing back the glory days. Have him announce that he has hired several guys that he feels deserve jobs here some from the past and some new. Have him announce that he has decided to put several of them in a group together under the management of a charming guy. Have him bring out Prince Nana who 1 by 1 announces, Colt Cabana, Jay Lethal, Homicide, Tomasso Ciampa, and the crown jewel Jimmy Rave. Have these guys be the faces trying to take down the guys who kept them down all these years. That being Bully Ray, Bobby Roode, Kurt Angle, Ken Anderson, Samoa Joe, Taz, and Jeff Hardy. Also bring in Petey Williams as a guy who doesn't want to take sides in all of it and just want peace.
Have Taz be the All Stars Manager. Have Borash replace him as commentator.
A guy can dream ehh

Glad AJ won, obvious or not. I think this is going to be some good TV leading up to and after BFG.
If TNA do go the Summer of Punk route, I hope they do it the right way, and don't rush it.

I know many won't agree with this but....
As cool as it is that AJ won BFG, I feel Sabin winning the title kinda killed the momentum of it all. TNA should have booked it to where no one could stop Bully. AJ wins BFG and defeats Bully and cracks the foundation of A&8's.
Instead Bully just regained the title so he's lost the unbeatable aspect of his character. And A&8's is all but gone. I dunno, hope they find a way to make it all worth it.

And yet people say wrestling fans don't forget storylines. Wasn't the big payoff match of the nWo and Sting angle the Hogan vs. Sting Starrcade match? Wasn't part of the "idea" around it that Hogan could not be stopped and someone needed to put him in his place? Didn't Luger do that though? And, didn't Luger lose a few nights later? Did it kill Hogan's momentum or Sting's storyline? Nope. (The Montreal Screwjob did). So, now, just replace nWo and Sting angle with Aces and Eights and Sting. Have the payoff match be Bully and Sting. Have Saban in the role of Luger. And you have relatively the same setup. This was a convoluted way of saying it doesn't matter that there was a hiccup to the storyline. It didn't kill any momentum. Would have been better if the group had better names. (And had guys that didn't job to Brutus Beefcake, the Nasty Boys, and DH Smith at the Miami Marlins Legends of Wrestling Event)

Can you imagine what kind of pop AJ gets if he walks onto an ROH? And then can you imagine if he raises the TNA World Title up and says he is REAL world champion.....instant heat. ROH fans despise TNA. BUT....they love AJ. It would certainly provide fireworks. I would also have TNA crown a new world champion in a tournament and play it off like AJ turned his back on the company. The only thing is I dont care for Dixie playing a heel. I'm fine with Hogan condemning AJ over the whole thing, but playing a tweener. But would like to see Dixie be the voice of reason and inevitably the one that brings AJ back to TNA.

I have this vision of Adam Cole winning the ROH tournament in a shady way, then Jay Briscoe returns & say he's the champ because he never was beat. The 2 set up a match & AJ shocks everyone & lays them both out, proclaiming he's the real champion. Do a short little run with AJ back in ROH, culminating in a triple threat match. AJ could escape without looking weak, & walk back into TNA when they are ready for him. More realistically, I could see AJ do a few spot shows like Final Battle.

You had me up untill the night after the ppv. Sick plan but it would be too good so I doubt we get anything remotely close. If thats a diss on Scott D'Amore who would be a better representation of the old TNA? He was on the creative team in 2003, starting in 2005 he was the lead booker for years and was working backstage until 2008. In 2009 he was an agent for the TNA Knockouts. The month after Hogan debuted in TNA was the last time he worked there. If anyone could be labelled as the guy that was the man behind the better years it's him. As far as names bringing in go, Tomasso Ciampa tried out for TNA, Colt I think would jump at the chance, Jimmy Rave wasn't given a fair chance and has worked several dates. Jay Lethal was a star but Hogan fired him for no reason, Homicide was just because I wanted someone who was let go during the hogan era that was around in a prominent role before hand. I went with Prince Nana being the manager of them because he tried out for WWE so I think he's looking for a bigger role in wrestling. It may seem jumbled up random names but I was mainly basing it on the Millionaire's Club Storyline of WCW. Where a lot of the guys normally would'nt be on the same side.
