What’s up guys, so I was a casual comic book fan back in the day and the past couple years I’ve noticed there has been some really cool superhero figs on the shelves a couple that stick out were wolverine in his brown& yellow attire & recently The Thing. So are all of these figures made by Hasbro? Being a casual fan how many of the main characters have been released? Do you guys have a top 10 or top 5 figures from this line(I believe it’s marvel legends)? If you were a new collector who would you go after first? Which are your favorite characters? Give me that Top 10 and I’ll gice you the best figs. Hasbro took over about 10 yrs ago give or take. They are superior to most toy lines. But as others have said it’s a slippery slope. When I started I was just going to get my favorite characters to do some stop motion shooting. Now I have 100s. It’s a fantastic line. But also pricey if you have OCD or are a completionist.

I guess we’ll start with Wolverine, Spider-Man, Cyclops, Professor X, Beast Man, Magneto, Captain America. I found a Doctor Octopus that looks awesome and Thing. Those two look like their pretty recent and are at decent prices. Would Doc Ock still be at retail or did I miss the boat on him?

Wolverine - Retro series if you want brown/yellow. Apocalypse wave if you want tiger stripe. Spider-Man - Pizza Spidey from I believe the Hobgoblin BAF wave, but you'll pay 3rd party prices. Get him in the Retro series. Cyclops - Warlock BAF wave. Perfect 90s cartoon/Jim Lee version Professor X - He's coming with hover chair early next year. Hold out for him. Beast - The old Toybiz version is cheap on the Bay, and is quality, but we should get an updated version within the next 1-2 years. Magneto, Captain America. Honestly? Neither of these have a defining version. Magneto in the Jubilee BAF wave, or the Apocalypse wave, are both decent. But not perfect. And Cap has plenty of iterations, but none of them are perfect. I would argue the retro wave release is the best, to date, for him.

They are still stocking the Sp//dr BAF wave, but fair warning, he along with Elektra are probably the most sought after figures in the wave.

Bummed. Had to cancel the Sentinel order. They'll be up again, though.

My set of Vintage wave 2 was delivered today from Big Bad. I haven't opened them yet, but at least the paint apps look good from the front.

Captain America’s vintage figure is easily the perfect version of him. As far as I can tell that figure is flawless.
