Well they pay to have their first shipment next day aired to them. And seeing the 2 Shield members and Bruno are the only ones people will order when the are "cherry picking" and not ordering a complete set. So that means they are stuck with the others that aren't going to sell. So you guys expect them to eat the extra shipping cost and pegwarmers that they will end up selling under the MSRP during one of their sales. Yeah, they'd be in business maybe 6 months if they did that. seeing Bruno is the only one I want from the set I'm not sure, but in the past if I purchased a whole set it would cost maybe $5 more than retail including the shipping after I used the WFIGS discount code. I don't need you to explain how RSC pricing works. RSC getting things shipped to them early doesn't change the fact that it's not a good deal or a "steal" on the consumer's end. Why should it be a steal or bargin for you? They are a business trying to stay in business. If you don't want to get the whole set and you don't want to spend the extra on the popular figures then then hold off until retail. Nobody is forcing anyone to purchase them from RSC. But why should they eat the added cost they spend to get them early? Again I want Bruno, but he's not a must have early figure for me so I will wait for retail.

Someone said it was a steal. I said twice the price of retail isn't a steal. You're not paying attention and arguing a point nobody made or cares about.

To be fair, unless you are paying to have the figures early, I can order them for $15.99 plus $4.99 shipping off Amazon and I won't ever have to leave my house. So right there, I just saved roughly $15 off Ringside prices. Now, if you're paying to get them early, which I completely get and have done a number of times myself, then that's something else to have them before retail. Ringside isn't saving me money though by ordering early and avoiding "hunting" places. I don't hunt out of my normal shopping habits. I have 3 Targets, 3 Walmarts and a TRU all within my normal grocery or household need areas. So I don't make special trips to look for figures, I just look when I'm out. So the gas argument isn't relevant to me. Also, Amazon and Mattel Shop, and really Ebay at a certain point, are much more affordable once these figures hit mass retail. So in the situation where I can't find a figure, I can turn to online and still save roughly $10 or more on what I would have spent with Ringside.
I'm not taking anything away from Ringside. I love them and always have a positive experience when I buy from them. However, the collector looking to be cost conscious probably isn't using Ringside because they clearly aren't the best deal around if you can be patient. That isn't really a debate, prices support that fact. So it's a matter of what you're trying to get out of the hobby. If I want the figure but it's not an emergency then I can pass on the high prices. If a figure comes out that I want immediately, I spend the money. For me, I paid a premium to have the Rollins and Reigns 2-pack because that was Rollins' first figure and I wanted it as soon as possible no questions asked. With the Elite, I can wait. I'm not that crazy about the teeth scan and I don't even need the ladder and table. So I'll pick this up at retail or when Amazon gets a shipment of them and I'll be content in December or January when I get mine, knowing I already have a great Rollins figure on my shelf. So that's why I'm not spending $36-37 with Ringside today on one Shield figure.

As soon as I saw this thread I took off to the site in hopes to pre order Bruno...I was thrilled to see he was still on pre order and not on back order. Then I saw why, totaled up (even using the "wonderful" Wfigs code ) Bruno comes to just under $40.....1 figure, $40....The same figure that come December will be in my Target for $16.99! *smh*
