Yes, John Cena can go into any professional wrestling hall of fame right now. I totally disagree about how they cannot get any adults to like him, because adults did like him when he was doing the rapping gimmick before the WWE had him stop.

Of course, he could retire today and go down as one of the biggest ever.

There's no doubt he's going in the hall of fame. I would consider him their biggest draw right now, but with him gone, Bryan is quickly taking his place. I really couldn't care less about Cena, but most children WWE fans love him, so most likely he will be considered by the WWE the "Greatest Thing To Happen To Wrestling. "

I think he is already considered one of the all time greats.

He's better than Hogan backstage.

It is literally impossible to not consider him one of the all time greats. Anyone who refuses to acknowledge it is just letting their own dislike for the charecter cloud just how important he has been to the company as a whole.

Absolutely he will. He'll have a spot on their Mount Rushmore.

I think in terms of the WWE he's already in the Top #10 and is probably in the same category when it comes to the great wresling world all time. He's one of the most well know wrestlers in history, has been the clear cut #1 guy and face of the company for 8 years(longer then any other WWE wrestler baring Bruno) and has some all time classic feuds with guys like Edge and Punk and lastly has put on a number of all time classic match.
Yes his character is stale and hell but Cena is still one of the best ever.
just so everyone know I would say the ten greatest of all time would be
Hulk Hogan Stone Cold The Rock Ric Fliar Andre the Giant Bruno Sammartino The Undertaker Shawn Michaels Randy "Macho Man" Savage John Cena
those to me are the biggest stars ever while guys like Hart,Rhodes,Sting,Piper,Triple H...ect would be in the second tier group.

One of the all time greats? yes. The greatest off all time? No.
The greatest off all time imo is a toss up between Hulk Hogan and Austin. Hogan really made wrestling what it is and 'revolutionized' pro wrestling. Austin really was the core of the most popular time period in WWE history the attitude era and got the fans going like no has before and no one has since imo if it wasn't for Austin WWE would be dead right now and we would be watching WCW every Monday night.

For those who hate on Cena's actual wrestling ability again he' not the greatest of all time or guy like Hart,Michaels,Benoit,Eddie,Steamboat...ect but as the old saying goes when the lights are on bright and its time to deliver Cena does.
to me I think these are Cena's greatest matches and ones that near to classics.
.Vs JBL-WWE Title-"I Quit" Match-Judgement Day '05 .Vs Rob Van Dam-WWE Title-One Night Stand II .Vs Edge-WWE Title-TLC-Unforgiven '06 .Vs Umaga-WWE Title-Last Man Standing-Royal Rumble '07 .Vs Shawn Michaels-WWE Title-Wrestlemania 23 .Vs Shawn Michaels-"One Hour Match"-RAW '07 .Vs Edge-World Title-Last Man Standing-Backlash '09 .Vs CM Punk-WWE Title-Money in the Bank '11 .Vs Brock Lesner-Extreme Rules Match-Extreme Rules '12 .Vs CM Punk-#1 Contender to WWE Title-RAW '13
plus a good handful or more.

Of course. He'll hold the record for most title reigns and is extremely similar to Hogan. Except Cena can wrestle more than the Hulkster ever could. You clearly never saw Hogan face Antonio Inoki in the Tokyo Dome. One of those matches out performs half of John's entire career.

Some of those comments are intellectually- disabled.
YES, Cena will be considered as one of the all-time greats.

As much as I don't like him he will be. You cant deny what Cena has done in his career, his accolades speak for themselves.

No doubt about it. Whether anyone likes it or not, he's up there with guys like Taker, Austin, Rock, & Hogan.
