Well no Yankees this year so here's to the Indians. Good luck to Dorn, Vaughn, Taylor, Hayes, Harris, Pedro, Tanaka, Rube and the rest of the Tribe and their fans.

As long as my Red Sox win a couple games, I'll be happy.

Pirates v Cardinals, Pirates in 4 Dodgers v Braves, Dodgers in 5
Pirates v Dodgers, Dodgers in 6
Rays v Red Sox, Sox in 5 Tigers v Athletics, Tigers in 4
Tigers v Red Sox, Tigers in 7
Tigers v Dodgers, Tigers in 6.
Aside from when they are beating the Yankees in ALDS's I always root for Detroit. Wife is from there, and her family. Plus I just really like a lot of the players on and have come from that team.

The only reason I root for Detroit is for Leyland.

I hate those stupid towels. You won't see them doing that at Fenway on Friday.

wow...apparently making the playoffs 3 out of 4 years doesn't mean crap to Cincinnati Dusty Baker is out
Hoping to hear that the Yankees have signed Girardi to a nice deal effective November 1st. I'm thinking 4 years/$15million. They say they were going to give him a raise and a nice deal. I can't see them going $4million...but just under might be enough...and 4 years at a time is good for a manager that is successful. Either way, I want Joe back.

Best thing about the game last night.
I didn't think we would beat Kewshaw. But what upset me most was the same old Braves. Awful mistakes and mental errors in the game.

Oh, and A-Rod is suing Bud Selig and the MLB.

Honestly, as much as a scumbag as A-Rod is, I think he has some legit points.

I hope and pray to the baseball gods that A-Rod wins this suit. It would be HILARIOUS.
This entire process and everything involved is turning A-Rod into a borderline sympathetic figure, which is funny by its own right and aside from all that he showed that when he is a normal HEALTHY player he can still be productive. That's all I want from the guy, get some hits, get some home runs and play good defense. He's gotta play out the rest of this absurd contract, so at least let him earn some of that money.
