So we're gonna get that Exclusive Debut Mankind figure at some point, and I think I read that it's gonna be a send out one? Where you've gotta collect your UPC's and receipts and send them out to Mattel? Today I bought four figures from TRU: The Exclusive Triple H, and the Build-a-Heyman figures. I'm gonna save these UPC's, but does anyone think it'll be likely that these figures count towards Mankind? Has ANYTHING been said regarding when that special's gonna occur?

seeing this thread made me realize that i threw away my WM29 Elite UPCs a week ago, not even thinking about Mankind.

Nothing official has been stated (which is odd). Usually by now we should have heard something. The past mail aways were you need upc's and receipts plus $ for shipping and handling.
Once its offically announced, there will be a web site listing all figures eligible. The BAF and hhh wave will most likely be included as well as minimum elite 22 or even 21. And possibly the basics/battlepacks that came out around that time.

Nothing yet. Can't wait though. Hopefully I won't have to buy excess stock at my TRU to qualify. I don't need E20 Rhodes, BaF Sheamus, BaF Big Show, or BaF Miz that badly...

Since nothing has been announced, clearly the time frame has not begun. I highly doubt that they are going to make the date be retroactive to a significant amount of time since the PURPOSE of the mailaways is to get you to buy things in order to get the mailaway. It would be bad for business if they let you use receipts and UPCs from figures you already have to get the Mankind figure.

Last years Triple H promo officially started on 6/17 but we didn't know about it until about the 3rd week in July.
Saving receipts and UPCs may turn out to be waste, but it might not. And really, how much time does it take to begin with?

The Triple H promotion was extended last year through the holidays. It actually was supposed to end after 2 to 3 months I believe.

At this point I don't even care. I'll just wait until it shows up for Ebay for a few bucks. Cause I know it will at some point after this failure.

I've been buying BOPPV, E23, E25, etc as I find them at retail and online for good prices. Some at TRU, most were not. I'm not waiting around but I better have enough upc's for at least one.

Unless you have information from the inside, we won't know for sure when the reciepts are good from until we're told. Don't be so confident about something that's basically a guess from your mind. |

Not only that, but you have up until 90 days (3 months) that you can always take your receipts back to the store and do return/repurchases. So if they came out and said the sale starts tomorrow any figure you purchased in the last three months you can do a receipt adjustment.
