I figured it was weird having the final minutes of the episode focus on Sarah and Laurel. Although I am shocked and saddened that Caity Lotz is done with the show, I'm glad with how they set it up.
Her dying in front of Laurel was perfect. It meant more than her dying in front of any other character. Laurel is officially on the track to become the Black Canary. I hope it's a slowwwww burn though. They need to build it over into season 4 at least...
Action was great, as usual.
Roy was cool as Arsenal. Diggle was good.. I'm sure they have more in store for him as the season goes on.. Felicity was excellent in this episode.
And finally, the new Count Vertigo was fantastic. Loved it.

Guessing it was eiither Merlin or Ra's that did it. Her dying in front of Laurel really was perfect. Other things I enjoyed: Officer Captain Lance surviving, new Count Vertigo was great, that Oliver and Felicity isn't happening... for now atleast, and the new flashbacks. "Why doesn't anyone understand that I DON'T SPEAK CHINESE!"

Also, I can see this leading to Laurel becoming the Canary.

Forgot to mention, Starling City potentially being re-named to Star City is awesome as well.

Really digging The Flash so far. I honestly can't wait until it gets further into the series, because I can see some badass Arrow/Flash crossover stories in the future.
Can't wait to see more Arrow tonight too. I've been rewatching season 2 since it hit Netflix, and it has made Sara's death even more depressing.

I liked the original Count don't get me wrong but the new one is just fantastic. Though with all his talk of fear stuff it almost makes me wish they got him to play an older Scarecrow

Would be cool if we did get a Scarecrow appearnce down the line.

i got a couple questions about Arrow
first, who is Thea?
second, is it a flashback when it keeps showing "Oliver" in Hong Kong or wherever it was at or is that a different storyline?

Thea is Oliver's sister. Quite annoying character for the whole 1st season.
Honk Kong is flashback, it's after the island and before he got back.

Thea is Oliver's sister. She was seen at the end of the episode. Oliver in Hong Kong is all Flashback. It occurs between Oliver leaving the island and, presumably, Oliver returning home to Starling City. So some time during the middle to later half of the 5 years he was missing. As for tonight's episode, they killed off the wrong Lance sister as far as I'm concerned. I tend to think it's pretty clear that Malcolm killed Sara but I know there are some other theories or whatever. Now that he's back I think it'll work just like with Deathstroke where Slade was hiding in plain sight. I guess we will see but using Thea as leverage between Ollie and Merlyn makes sense given that Thea is the typical obnoxious teen character who could easily let her poor me emotions turn her to the dark side. Tonight started to feel like rehash from season 1, and I think the character is kind of past so much of that stuff.

Imagine if Thea is revealed to be the one who killed Sara... I think Malcolm is the far more likely reveal, but there's an off chance. If it is, I'll be even more sad that Deathstroke didn't kill her.
I thought it was another good episode tonight; Laurel did kinda get back on the annoying side for me though.

I could've sworn that Malcolm and Thea were shown as being, like, in a different country. I still say that Ra's killed Sara. I know that the League doesn't kill their own, but it would be an interesting way to bring him in. Though, if Thea did somehow kill her that would be even more intriguing.

That derives from the same focal point, which to me is Merlyn. I've always looked at Ra's as a plot device, more so than a character that's actually going to show up. He's a name you can drop that loosely ties the DC world together. One in which you can assume characters like Batman exist within the same world as Flash and Arrow.

They've actually cast an actor to play Ra's Al Ghul for this season on Arrow, though who knows how big or small of a role he's going to play. SIDE NOTE: Where the hell was all this charisma when Brandon Routh played Superman?!?!? He's so charming and likeable on Arrow!
