The promoter behind TFcon, the Action Figure Expo, and the 80s Toy Expo presents a new event: The 2014 Ontario Collectors Con will be January 26th at the Delta Meadowvale Hotel and Conference Centre – 6750 Mississauga Road, Mississauga, Ontario. The show features a huge selection of vintage 80s and 90s toys and all the latest releases from today such as Transformers (vintage and Japanese imports), Star Wars (new and vintage), GIJoe (vintage and modern), Masters of the Universe (vintage and modern), Super Heroes (Marvel Universe/Legends, DC Universe etc), Wrestling, Power Rangers, and tons of other toys, comics and collectibles. Who's all goin' to the toy show today?? I'm definitely goin'. Really want to meet Nikolai and get my MOC WWF LJN figure signed, as well as his LJN poster. Won't have much money to buy anything else. Only going to meet big Nikolai. Lookin' forward to it.

Just got back from the toy show and meeting WWE Hall of Famer Nikolai Volkoff. I didn't buying anything as I didn't have much extra money leftover after getting my 2 items signed. I got my MOC WWF LJN figure signed as well as the LJN poster. I got there at about 11, so I got the general admission for $10 and the two items signed were $20 each, which is a bit steep I thought, but worth it in the end. I'll likely never meet Nikolai Volkoff again, so why not, right? He was pretty quiet, but nice. He liked seeing the old LJN figure in the package again. He said he's still got a few himself and commented that the poster was the one included with the figure. He's lookin' older, that's for sure, haha. It was a cool experience meeting him. I really enjoy meeting the older guys that I grew up watching. It's a unique experience and I'm very happy I got my items signed and made the trip and met Nikolai Volkoff. Now, onto the pics. I snapped as many pics as I could with my cell phone of other people getting their items signed and I know ARUN will thank me later because this is 100% proof that he met Nikolai Volkoff, haha. I overheard him spell out his name to Nikolai, so I'm assuming it's the same ARUN from this forum. I didn't get a pic of it, but one guy brought along a classic old WWF Television jumpsuit that the old cameramen used to wear and got it signed. That thing is covered in signatures. Probably a one-of-a-kind item. I believe he's the same guy I saw in Windsor getting it signed by Jake "The Snake" Roberts at the BCW 20 Year show. Here are the pics!!
