I just got E24 and have to say im dissapointed that Trish was in it, I like the figure and would have bought it anyway but I don't see why she and Aj lee had to take up a spot in the elite line , Fair enough Kelly Kelly had that massive divas belt packed and a materiel jacket thing, But AJ came with nothing, and Trish came with a belt that can't have cost much to make its tiny and she can't even hold it :/ She should have been in a basic line instead of the usual Rey,Orton or Cena MDT can you answer this Is there any other reason other than the usual costs excuse ?

Trish is a legend man, she deserves that spot and more. Im very proud Mattel included her in the elite line not to mention its an awesome figure. The womens belt was a great accessory as well. I cant praise Mattel enough for these elites.

Totally agree Trish is a big time legend and one of my favourites along with Lita , but I just feel she would fit just aswell in a basic series , Its not a slight or an insult to her at all, We've seen basics of Warrior, Goldust and Eddy and they flew out the door in most places

Ajs attire was the accy. The plaid is said to have been a pricey attire to make. Same as yoshi tatsu previously.

They are in the Elite Series because the budget doesn't fit in the Basic Series.
Expect another AJ Lee with Divas title in the Elite Series next year.

Dumb question, It's Trish Stratus.. Why WOULDN'T she be in the elite line? If Kelly Kelly is a worthy spot of the elite line like you mentioned, then Trish is definitely worthy of a spot.

You're telling me the extra tooling that goes into the male wrestlers doesn't cost more than that womens title, And yeah she does deserve being in the line but I feel we should have gotten more with her, like her jacket and hat possibly ? the hat would have been easy they already did a white one for JBL

Liz was the most popular diva from the classic era, Trish from the Attitue/Ruthless Agression, and AJ is the most popular current diva. That's why they got elites. I for one and extremely happy we got a Mattel Trish. I will agree though that I hate the choice of hands for her.

They are in the Elite Series because the budget doesn't fit in the Basic Series. In a nutshell, pretty much self explanatory answer to this question

I think some people collect just basics and some just collect Elites so they want to take care of both collectors. We will prolly see a Trish in a basic sometime.

So far, most buyers don't seem to mind Diva elites. I saw Liz only once and there's no AJs hanging around my stores. I've seen E24 at two different Kmarts. Both times, only 7 figures on the pegs, no Trish. Glad I preordered.

The only thing that bothers me about Divas in the Elite line is that they still have Basic leg articulation (except Liz). That's a cop out on Mattel's part.

Yea it seems that way but diva figures sell quick cause there's one per case so after the first there's none left and next shipment is either god knows how many series later or revision case with no divas

I would rather have them than the same old Rey's Cena's and Ortons. I think all the divas have been great so far.

While I agree that most female figures should just be in the basis line as they are just glorified basics I feel Liz and Trish should be in the elite line.

Trish is one of about 5 "Divas" I'm completely content with taking up a spot in an Elite wave. We needed the Women's Title and we needed Trish. We weren't getting both as a Basic. End of story imo. I think the figure is amazing too and I'm glad to have it on my shelf. Now if only we could get Mickie to come back so we can get a WM22 version of her.

You say Trish can't hold it? Can you post some pictures of this / the title itself?

Agreed about Liz, but feel the other divas were just a wasted spot that could have gone to a worthy flashback lol. Mattel has found a way to take a basic figure and charge double for it and people pay. So I guess why wouldn't you do it if you were Mattel.
